I just finished reading "ask her out" and had to tell you how much I loved it. First off, there aren't many Alex Blake fics out there so thank you for your service 😁 Second, you are seriously so talented. I loved the flow of the story and the way you not only describe the feelings there, but actually showed us how Alex and reader care for each other.

Every single person in this fic was in character. Not every writer can perfectly capture every character's voice, but you can and you did and it was wonderful. One of my favorite parts (besides the whole thing, of course) was how Spencer described how reader sat next to Alex after a bad case because Alex made her feel safe. It was such a minor thing, but I caught it and held onto it the whole way through.

Alex was perfect. The fluff was perfect. That end scene? Also perfect. Alex calling reader 'honey' 🙈 (excuse me, I need to go dive out of a moving vehicle). I could go on and on about how much I loved it, but this is already long enough so I'll finish by saying this: you are seriously awesome and I can't wait to read more of your stuff 😊💜

Their college years are full of tropes and a bit of frenemies to lovers, though it's quick. By the end of their second year they know it's meant to be, have plans to move out to NYC together to live their big lawyer dreams. Y/n gets called back to her hometown of Washington D.C over summer break and suddenly it seems like her dreams are being torn apart as she's being forced into a life that she never wanted in the first place, not returning to Harvard in the fall and breaking Casey's heart in the process.

Our girls eventually cross paths years later in NYC, the question remains.... is it under good circumstances, what *actually* happened to yn those years ago and will they be able to work through their issues or are they holding onto grudges a little too tightly?
