eventually you tell him and he’s immediately WORRIED ASF BECAUSE EXTRATERRESTRIAL PARASITES THAT BASICALLY ATTACH THEMSELF TO THEIR HOST FOR A LONG TIME??? he already has trauma from his own interdimensional virus so he’s extremely concerned for you

when you explain that it’s completely harmless and that you’re actually really good friends with your symbiote he’s definitely more relieved but still ever-so worried bc that’s our abner <3

it took a lot of convincing for him to not be worried, but it took him even MORE CONVINCING to not freak out when you turn into venom and abner just looks at you with the most terrified look ever or maybe even faint

i feel as though abner would misinterpret your emotions and behaviour at times and think you’re annoyed with him when you’re actually pissed off with your symbiote who keeps saying “FIGHT. EAT CHOCOLATE. FIGHT.” so you definitely need to always tell abner that your aren’t mad at him but rather at the parasite living inside your body

abner definitely finds it a bit weird, possibly uncomfortable, that he’s technically dating your symbiote while he’s dating you, ESPECIALLY WHEN VENOM BUTTS IN AND IS LIKE “stop undressing them with your eyes” AND ABNER WILL START SWEATING AND CRYING LIKE “BUT I’M NOT??????” so yeah

he’ll definitely get bullied a lot by venom and every time he does, you have to comfort abner and just remind him that venom’s just a mean meany pants

venom would definitely remind abner of his mom, but it was alright because he had you to scold venom whenever he would say some whacked up shit

imagine how awkward it is to smush booties(have sex) when venom’s JUST THERE, LIKE ABNER’S ALREADY NERVOUS ABOUT GETTING NAKED AND THERE’S THE PARASITE READY TO GIVE AN INSULTING REMARK ABOUT HIS BODY ANY TIME SOON

honestly, it would be worst for you since you can hear venom in your mind THE WHOLE TIME

after a while, abner will probably get used to having venom around almost every time and will probably maybe have a comeback or two if he ever gets confident enough, and with your encouragement and comfort, he will definitely get more confident

What if the Naruto Kabuto and Kakashi is the team that go to wave? and that, with medic nin here, they mamage to save Haku?

HAKU IS THE THIRD GENIN WHEN THEY TAKE THE EXAMS

But backing up to the start of wave:

Most of it is the same: the fight with the Chunin, the reveal that things are more than what they seem, the fight with Zabuza the first time.

Naruto and Kabuto are a far more terrifying combo of course as they have been training together for years at this point against far stronger opponents in far less ideal locations. They move in silent concert, seeming to read each other’s minds as they switch between guarding and attacking as easily as breathing.

But they still get to wave and continue guarding and helping where they can.

(Naruto is mostly on guard/food collection duty because the minute he go close enough to the water it was like coming home after so long. His non venomous summons help gather fish and other foods from the ocean even when he is acting as bridge guard/ offering as many shadow clones as he can spare to try to hurry construction tf up.

Kabuto is kept busy going from house to house healing what he can and making those he cant heal more comfortable in any way possible. Even when he’s not actively healing he’s collecting ingredients and making whatever he thinks will help.

Any time they can spare they are working on… something. Kakashi isn’t entirely sure what exactly they’re planning but he trusts the two of them to look out for each other and not let things go too far.)

Naruto still meets his mysterious new friend in the woods. They talk about people that are important to them. Naruto, still fresh off the hurt of the original team seven and having grown up at Orochimaru’s knee and seeing the hurt he carries from his own team, slips in that sometimes the people that are important to us aren’t always good for us and leaves Haku thinking.

Then the fight of the bridge happens.

Then Haku takes a chidori to the chest.

Everything stills for a second.

Then Kabuto, still hurt but determined, hits his knees next to Haku and starts healing him.

They watch with horror. Not even Tsunade would be able to put him back together again. No one had the kind of control and reserves needed to be able to heal such a bad wound. Then a strand of visible chakra wraps around Kabuto’s wrist while he works. Sharing chakra. Giving Kabuto a practical ocean of power to draw from and allowing him to continue working.

With anyone else it would never work. The control Kabuto has over his chakra is absolute. Practically unheard of. He had had plenty of time to practice in his years spent cooling his heels. And Naruto… no one has the chakra reserves Naruto does. He will never have the control of his brother, not when it would be like trying to take a single drop from an ocean, but he has the power even after their battle and can offer his brother the help he needs.

It’s a move them at requires absolute trust on both sides. A move they made and perfected in every spare moment they had on this mission as if they had known this exact moment would occur.

The thugs and gato come. Zabuza gives his life taking gato out. A final gift to Haku, buying time so he could keep living.

They take Haku back to the village when the bridge is finished. He spends some time in T&I before it’s confirmed that he was never technically a Shinobi and was only doing as Zabuza asked. He’s listless. Untethered. He has nothing left. No skills he can use to live a civilian life. No one crazy enough to allow him, a former enemy, a place on their team.

Only

He’s offered a place on team kakashi, and what else can he do but agree?

They say things happen for a reason. Sometimes that reason is a chaotically effective naval instructor. After the uranium mission, Maverick stayed on as an instructor in Top Gun, much to the chagrin of Vice Admiral Simpson. 

Admiral Simpson would have to admit he was glad that Maverick had brought along a former student to keep him grounded, so to speak. He had yet to meet this former student that managed what nobody could. Not even Kazansky.

“Captain Mitchell… Brought you the reviewed mock reports that the students turned in,” his colleague Commander Robyn “Venom” Sullivan informed him.

“Thank you, V. Hey, do you have any plans for this weekend? Penny and I are planning a team-building BBQ for the new students, and from some of the Dagger Squad to come.”

“I’d love to go. Who else will be there?”

“A few of the Admirals… You know the Kazanskys, Hondo and his wife will be there. So will the Bradshaws and Garcia’s.”

Robyn thinks about it for a moment and then nods. “Sure, just let me know the time and what to bring.”

Mav smiles at his friend. “Just yourself and an empty stomach.”

Later at lunch that day, Mav ran into Cyclone. “Admiral. Penny and I want to have you over to meet the new team. It’ll be less dogfight football and more BBQ.”

Cyclone shakes his head and chuckles. “I still can’t believe your little game helped you and worked. When is the BBQ? I can make smoked ribs if you want also.”

While he still wasn’t very friendly and outgoing at Mav, after the uranium mission Cyclone did start to make more of an effort to get to know the Top Gun students in a more relaxed setting.

Mav agrees for Cyclone to bring the smoked ribs and asks if he could also bring some beers, to which Cyclone agrees.

The rest of the week passes by quickly and now the day of the BBQ is here. Penny had closed down the Hard Deck for the BBQ.

Robyn arrives first and is helping Penny set up the drink station outside. “If you ever quit the Navy, you’d make a great bartender and mixer,” Penny says.

“I only create these mixes for you Penny. I’m just in to for the free drinks,” Robyn teases.

“So that’s why you became my friend?” Penny asks teasingly in return.

“That’s why we all became your friends,” Mav says, hugging her from behind.

“That’s the kind of friends with benefits I’m looking for,” Robyn jokes.

Suddenly, a throat is being cleared behind her and the slightly older but still very attractive gentleman is trying to hide his smirk.

“Admiral! You made it! Well, since you’re here let me introduce you to my favorite former student and my right hand woman, Commander Robyn Sullivan. Call sign Venom.”

Robyn feels her cheeks flush slightly but she greets the Admiral.

“At ease Commander. I’m Admiral Beau Simpson. But you can call me Beau or by my call sign Cyclone,” the man says with just a hint of a rosy color to his cheeks.

Mav can’t believe his eyes and he turns to Penny who starts dragging him away before he can do any damage.

“Well Beau… What’s your poison?” Robyn asks as she starts to prepare him a drink. “You look like a bourbon kind of man.”

“Were you spying in my office drawers?” He teasingly asks with a wink.

“No… Admiral, I just know you already… Just from one look,” Venom replies as she hands him the Boulevardier she made for him. “Actually I did see a bottle one day when Mav and I went to drop off some files.”

Beau looks at her in confusion. “I would have recalled seeing you in my office.”

The air is crackling with the sexual tension between both of them. Venom admires and respects the man before her. He graduated top of his class, just like her. She’d be lying and blind if she said she didn’t think he was attractive. It was actually his age and how he carried himself that made him more attractive to her.

From his perspective, Cyclone has never met a woman that immediately grasped or understood his personality and way of flirting. He knew he was older than the woman before him but for the first time, he didn’t feel that hesitation that usually stopped him.

Beau starts drinking his drink while staring straight at Robyn’s eyes. “I can only assume you taste much better than this.”

Robyn feels the temperature rising and not just from the sun. “There’s only one way for you to find out… Admiral,” she says with a wink.

“How about we go for a drive once the BBQ is done?”

Venom leans in close to Cyclone, bringing her lips to his ear before giving it a little nip. “How about we drive to your office and get better acquainted there?” she whispers before leaning back.

Both their eyes never leave the others’ as more people arrive. When Beau spots an opportunity to leave early without detection he uses it to their advantage.

And so their passionate relationship starts. Beau will just never admit he’s thankful to Mav for introducing him to the love of his life.

Couldn't decide if i wanted to keep my initial idea of having her only have purple legs or if i wanted her to be fully purple since the outfit washes her out. Either way this is what she'd look like if Cas got caught by the Spider Queen! She is now 'Recluse*' the experiment. {* Name has since been changed to 'Fiddle')

She isn't treated the best by the spider crew since she doesn't want to help them take over the world, constantly using her brain to figure out loopholes in the Queen's orders. Her personality is very casual despite her situation, constantly making jokes and teasing the others. If she wasn't so good at her job then spider queen would've gotten rid of her ages ago- the two have a very strained relationship because recluse will call SQ out when she thinks her plans are bad and find any way to challenge her that she's able. Despite this she's actually pretty nice towards the other spiders!

She has a love-hate relationship with Syntax. He finds her really annoying and thinks she's stupid- like the queen's own personal jester- she never takes anything seriously and it bugs him. Meanwhile Fiddle finds his insults funny and informative and actually likes his company- he's the one who she spends the most time with since he's trying to fix the venom she was injected with, constantly running tests and keeping her close in his lab. When it's later revealed that the venom is actually working as intended and she's been acting this whole time he's floored. He thinks his data is off or the tests got tampered with because there's no way that she could have been playing them this whole time. When she confirms this he suddenly sees her in a new light- drawn to intelligence he wants to know how smart and crafty she Really is. She becomes a puzzle he wants to solve. Fiddle is more open to letting hints of her true self slip in front of him because she relates to him, she wants to save him from the queen and help him lead a normal life again. She also just thinks its funny to see his face when she corrects him or adds onto a theory when he's thinking out loud- especially when she's Right.

Goliath is her buddy, her favorite spider of the bunch. He's the only one who goes out of his way to visit her in her little corner of the lab since she is/is going to be part of the group soon. He wants to make her assimilation into the group easy so they can work together flawlessly. Where with Syntax she purposely drops hints, with Goliath she legitimately is slipping up and letting her walls down. She talks about her past and hobbies and anything under the sun when they're having their private chats. They also work out together- both being brawlers they share tips and their routines. He's the only one of the group she'll sing for- though it's just small jingles or a couple lines whenever a song gets stuck in her head. He's the only one who can get close when she's going berserk- physical proof that she's starting to trust/care for him. He helps her look after her cat since she's cooped up in the lab almost 24/7. He gives me big bro of the group vibes- strong and silent but when he talks he can definitely talk some shit/sass. I feel like he'd make quiet offhanded comments when Syntax and Huntsman are bickering that Fiddle would pick up on and laugh with him about.

Huntsman is interesting because they don't have much to do with each other at first. He doesn't really interact with Fiddle unless he has to and finds her to be a waste of time and resources. An opinion he Loves to share with Syntax and hold over him since the new venom and experiment fall under his responsibility (Queen got tired of dealing with her even though the venom is supposed to be Her thing while Syntax is computers- she figures he's smart he'll figure it out) Though when the two actually talk he finds it kind of hard to keep an aggressive or mocking attitude, either his jabs roll off her like they're nothing and they end up having a semi-normal conversation after she steers him away from insults and into an actual topic. Or she's so weirdly positive that it infuriates him, he's not used to people reacting to him with kindness and positivity- especially when he's Trying to be Mean. He ends up leaving in a huff and sulking that He's the angry one now or finding something else to do to distract himself. After his encounter with Sandy is when things start calming down with him- he's nicer to her cat and even offers to look after it when Goliath can't. She still infuriates him but now it just reminds him of how Sandy was acting and gets him thinking about their encounter again... he kinda ignores her to avoid thinking about it too hard. But it'd start keeping him up and so he ends up coming to her to ask some questions and share some thoughts. She's completely blindsided that somehow Huntsman of all people has been sent down a redemption arc/is becoming self aware but wholeheartedly supports it and encourages him to come back and talk to her ("or this new person who's got you thinking- no? ok ok i don't mind the conversation anyways!"). She becomes something of a confidant to him since he feels he can't share this with the others and it's not like Fiddle would call treason considering her position, plus nobody would ever believe her if she tried!

I see Fiddle as their gofer- since her upper body looks normal enough she can go into town and buy (or steal) things for them without much fuss. Of course she's heavily monitored through a tracker and surrounding cameras but she likes doing grocery runs since she gets to go outside and have a couple minutes to feel like a normal person again. She also takes over chores and some of the cooking since they can't reliably make her do anything else. Spider Queen would've made her into her handmaiden, but doesn't trust that she won't ruin her clothes or hair or Something just to spite her.

And then there's LBD, Fiddle doesn't trust her and the only time she gets openly serious or actually acts like a part of the group is when she isn't around. She's constantly trying to advise SQ against having her around, she can Sense the power in her and does not trust it for a second. She's spent lifetimes dealing with demons and there's no way someone with that much power is just here to help SQ of all people. She doesn't know who she is, the true extent of her power, nor her motive, but Fiddle avoids LBD like the plague. Once SQ finally gets wise to LBD's true nature Fiddle doesn't hesitate to tell her they should run- where Huntsman chokes Fiddle is standing up and saying it without a hint of fear for her queen. She may not like the woman but the venom compels her to do whatever it takes to keep her safe and there's no way they can take LBD on while still sharing the underground caverns. They need to get far away and regroup because she obviously wanted Something from them and the mech isn't complete yet. In this Au the spiders survive at the cost of Connie, Fiddle unleashes the full might of the consumption to hold LBD and the Mayor off so the others can get away and gets captured. idk if they needed SQ specifically or just a powerful demon's soul so i'm going with the latter in this one. There's specifics to what happens exactly for they to get connie without killing Fiddle- who ends up getting away thanks to a last act by Connie- but that'd be a bit graphic so lets just say the jacket used to have sleeves 6-6 anyways during the fight Fiddle gets to help by tapping into her connection with Connie- who was used to make the mech- and waking them up so to speak- having them help destroy the mech from the inside, then after LBD's defeat Fiddle reclaims the lost shards and her little sibling. Lots of character development could happen in the time they were apart, relationships could change and the spiders could become more of a closer knit group- maybe pull a DBK and chill out on the world conquering idk. this is just a base idea but a fun one to consider. i could just let lbd have sq but there's no way the others would let her get captured without dying first and the venom still affects Fiddle so she can't leave her either (even if she really wants to)
