The last.

Honestly didn’t focus on much today. Just on having fun and enjoying the show for a last time.

Really want to write some things down under the cut.

The fans handed lightsticks to peope at the entrances and sheets of papers that said, we sould use them during the final song which was such a cute idea for the last show.

Alexander (Munk) changed some lyrics during the invitation to the jellicle ball. He said something along the lines of “where we meet for the LAST time” instead of “again”.

George (Lonz) hugged Anneka (Cass) after their cuddle at the beginning of Gumbie <3 (only time during the  whole show where I was nearly crying, it was the moment where I was like, yeah, final show, this is it).

Instead of “thank you my dears” Denise (Jenny) said something along the lines of “oh mei, seids ihr liab” in dialect, but I don’t heard/remember it 100%. I only know it was changed and it sounded like dialect. She got a lot of cheering and applause.

When entering the stage Dominik didn’t say “miau” today but “servus”. Best man! (servus is a very typical greating for austria, bavaria and hungary). Made my day, honestly! If Tugger would live in Vienna he would defenetly say servus.

Also Alexander had to hold Birgit (Bomba) back at the beginning of Tugger otherwise she would have jumped him then and there. Here the most lyrics were changed. She sang “Der Rum Tum Tugger ist MEIN störrisches Biest” (the Rum Tum Tugger is MY courious cat it would be in English I think). Also after the Bomba Tugger thing he didn’t say no but “oh yeah” before she fell.

Skimble and Electra got a bussi in the dance break and at the end <3.

Jan and Anna (Mungo and Rumple) got so much applaus. It started before the cartwheel and went on and on. Deserved!

Also the Jellicle Ball got standing ovations this time. DESERVED! People started to scream and clap after the cuddle pile. In my part of the theatre nobody was standing (I was sitting quite in the back to the side) but I stood up as soon as it ended. I love the ball so much which everybody following me knows and it DESERVES all the standing ovation it gets. Also applause didn’t end for a while here.

First Act was over very fast. In the intermission I looked at the cast list and saw Andrea’s name <3. He sat in the booth. Came for the last show.

Before the second act a person in the audience showed a heart with her hands to Rory (Old Deut) and he smiled at her.

All in all: The audience was so cheery and positive of course. Lot of fans and everybody who wasn’t a fan was just confused with what was going on (also I heard crying, nose blowing and  Taschentuchgeraschel a lot, so yeah, people were crying on and off stage). 

At some parts it seemed more like a concert tbh.

Second Act: Now I could feel my cheeks cause I was smiling the whole time. Felix (Gus) was so amazing today. He played Gus really sad. And with this being the last show the lyrics about remembering a character you once played just felt meta and heavy. I screamed a lot for Barbara (Jelly) and him after the Aria part. Gonna miss them.

Skimbleshanks number was just pure energy today! Everything.

Macavity numbers also everthing today, all of them. Like Giulia and Birgit were amazing. Also screamed for them at the end. This number is just so good and I regret being to pussy to scream for my fave part.

Amazing Macavity fight. Lots of applaus for the fight too. Often people tend to forget to clap for that number. But today. It got the applause!

Mistoffelees number amazing. After his solo dance Stephen (Misto) got standing ovations and it didn’t stop. He looked a little bit like he couldn’t believe it. It didn’t stop and didn’t stop and didn’t stop when it stopped Tugger said “oioioioi” and made everybody laugh. The whole vibe was just so positive and good. People started clapping during his turns and during the Misto praying circle, and after he brought old Deut back and when he was lifted up. He got so much applause! It was so energetic and positive and gave the number more of its triumphierenden vibe. Just pure joy before the sad part.

Ana Milva gave a very powerful and emotional last performance of Memory. I had goosebumps on my whole body for the whole song. She also got standing ovations and it didn’t stop and didn’t stop and didn’t stop.

At the end we all got our lights out for the last number.

Standing ovation started with the pre bow dancing and didn’t stop til the very end. All the swings from the booth and the conductor came on stage and they stayed for a long time just hugging and dancing.

Didn’t focus on much at the end. Just was happy to be there because everything felt so positive and fun.

My hands still tingle from all the applause!

It was over so fast and even thou I didn’t concentrate on much show vise it was just the best feeling to be there and have so many people on and off stage who simply love and adore this show, so many people in the audience cheering and clapping and screaming and shouting.

This was a real special show and I’m very happy that was part of it!

Again: Big thanks to the actors, the orchestra, the costume, make up and wig team, the stage team, the sound engineers, the lightning staff, all in all to the whole creative team. This was such an amazing production through and through and I’m so happy that I could see at as often as I did!

10 km/h (6.2 mph) too fast: Pidgeon caught speeding

The police in the German city of Hagen (North Rhine-Westphalia) has published a photo of a pidgeon made by an automatic speed control camera. The bird was caught going 40 km/h (25 mph) in a zone with a speed limit of 30 km/h (18.6 mph). Under normal circumstances, the offense would cost 30 € plus administrative expenses. However, the police forego enforcement in this case, most probably because the address of the traffic offender cannot be determined so the penalty notice cannot be delivered.

Apart from that, this pidgeon was not particularly fast. Letter pidgeons are known for being able to go up to 120 km/h (75 mph). Pidgeons are only legal to go that fast on the Autobahn.
