#salaam yall I need some interior design advice lol #so basically im going to be moving again but this time to a suburb #for the past year I was living in a big city and it was actually my first apartment lol #but since I was living in downtown and in a new skyrise #all of the furniture I bought was contemporary in style #my apt had marble floors and dark counters with white countertops and I absolutely loved it! Alhamdulilah #now ofc I got furniture and decor to match the aesthetic (an emerald green velvet couch being one of them) #now the thing is #my new apt is alhamdulilah nice but the style is completely different #its between contemporary and traditional #the issue im having is figuring out how to make my current furniture match :/ #this apt is carpeted with a typical tan carpet and tan walls #very simple but the problem is idk how to incorporate things like my green couch and other contemp furniture into a more simple #traditional home #any suggestions? #feel free to send me pinterest insp lol
