🎐 A Token of Friendship 🌸

Today is @vesprynna 's birthday, and as always that means birthday art! This year featuring her blue Oni Taiga, sharing a moment of quiet with his love Noriyo, and his tengu friend Minoru.

The two youkai both share a bond over struggles living with mortals. Many years ago Taiga helped the younger tengu overcome his fears, to face the person he loved, which allowed them to eventually start a life together.

Now Taiga struggles revealing his true self, and he even struggles to accept that Noriyo loves him regardless. But together they remind eachother that their struggles can be overcome. Minoru offers Taiga another feather, like he did as thanks all those years back. But this time it's because they are friends.

Happy Birthday @unicornia93!! Toot toot the birthday floot! 🥳 A while back we went crazy revamping our old OCs from when we were teenagers to ship with each other, so here is the new versions of Uni’s dude Ahron with my girlie Vira. Ahron was cursed by gargoyles during a mission gone wrong, and his wife later perish in an incident where he lost control of this new curse. His child survives the tribulation, but Ahron flees in hopes of saving what remains of his family. On his journey he meets a young woman named Vira, a con-woman, thief and a scoundrel with a secret heart of gold. At first the two don’t get along too well with their clashing moralities, but as necessity forces them together, they learn to co-operate. Vira slowly unveils Ahron’s dark past, and learns of the terrible predicament he’s living with; a curse that will eventually consume and destroy his humanity if they can’t find a way to stop it. They both slowly learn to open up to the other, and romance eventually blooms, but the question is if they can stop his corruption before its too late, and that all they worked for will go to waste. ✨🌸 Ko-Fi || Instagram || Twitter 🌸✨

Had a lot of fun designing these two and ended up channeling more Elden Ring vibes than I first thought 😂🙏 I can't complain about that though, and I think these two are my favorite of the pairs :) Just love their contrasting dynamics!

🌿Gargoyle • Monstera🌿

Day 4-6 of my Drawtober project, Reverie in Green🌿 💖 A loving tribute to all things monster romance and plant-like haha!

This one features a sweet gargoyle perched in waiting. Waiting for the rain to stop, hoping his special someone will come to his cathedral to see him again. I imagined he only animates at dusk and remains animated until sunrise. His favorite thing is to watch the sun come up, bathing him and his perching spot in warmth as he goes back to slumber again... 💛

I've never drawn a gargoyle before, but it was so much fun and I love how his toothy lil face turned out 🥰

To imagine that 20 years ago I didn't think I'd live to see my 20's... But I'm still here, and I'm so happy that I am 💖 Life's been rough, and it will continue to be at times, but thankfully there's pockets of joy to be found in the chaos. It really can be as simple as a funny tag someone leaves on my art, my best friend @unicornia93 doodling something funny to cheer me up, or the boundless enthusiasm my fiance has for ANY idea I share with him or my family being their goofy but wonderful selves 😂💖

I also want to extend a sincere Thank You to everyone who's supported and followed me over the years. Every year when my birthday comes around I always wonder how I got so lucky to be blessed with great friends, a wonderful fiance and my small but loving family... And to also be part of a community both online and offline amongst kindhearted, passionate people and artists. I don't say this often enough, but I truly appreciate each and every one of you! I'm normally not the one to draw lots of fanart, but after rewatching Crimson Peak with my mom I was so inspired to draw Edith. I absolutely adore that movie's costumes and this is my favorite attire that Edith wears during the film 😍

Been experimenting a lot with my art again too, feeling bored and stuck in a rut with my usual process so things might get a bit all over the place as I try out new stuff 🤣

My first out of two entries for @feefal 's Funguary! I've wanted to join for a few years and finally got around to it 😊

I wasn't sure how I wanted to tackle the challenge, so I asked my IG followers for help. First we decided whether it should be 4 single mushrooms or two pairs. Pairs won by a landslide 😂 then we voted for which themes to pair.

This is the couple combo that won by popular demand; the celestial Angel Wing and his demonic queen Silver Leaf 🍄🌱

✨Dragon's Treasure✨

A piece I made last year which I hated at the time, but it has since grown on me - at least a little 😂💖🌸 I really struggled getting my idea on paper here and I was so angry at myself for letting myself down... I hate making art I feel is beneath my skill level, but sometimes we don't succeed no matter how much we try. We can always learn from the experience and try again though 💖

One day I might return to this and redo it with the skills and knowledge I now have ☺

This was my first sapphic artwork though, which is fun! These two characters were meant to be my Drawtober project for 2023, but it didn't pan out due to me being burnt out 😅 maybe their story will come to fruition someday! 🐉✨🗡💖
