The last few days on the ranch we have had some unfortunate things going on we got 2 new male pigs and one of them has died. we have no clue what happened to him, but our nearest guess is that one of the goats might have hit him and caused internal bleeding. He wasn't very old and was the runt of the litter. On other news our oldest pig that we have had for several months is sick. she won't get up and will barely drink and eat. I have no clue what is wrong with her, but we will keep her hydrated and continue to tend to her in the hopes that she gets better. I hope that we have better days soon.

Poe was scheduled for a CT scan and her third cancer surgery today. Unfortunately the CT scan showed the tumor is inoperable and has metastasized throughout her body. She is not showing any signs of illness or distress yet. We will start oral chemo soon to prolong her quality of life. They were so ready for surgery they shaved her while they waited for the CT scan results. Gatito Meow will be 12 soon. Today, for the first time in his life, we had to take him to the vet and we were so preoccupied. He normally growls to everyone other than my husband and I so we were very concerned that he would be all stressed out. What a surprise when we met Dr Yang and his team at Vine Animal Clinic! He and his team were so caring that we felt instantly that everything would be ok with Gatito. Dr. Yang seemed to communicate with the cat, like a cat whisperer, I kid you not. We were astonished of how relaxed Gatito was and had never seen something like this. We now feel finally safe going to the vet with our kitty!
