Jinx’s neck straps always spell out “Vi”

and lastly, someone pointed out that Vi’s prison number includes Jinx’s old signature/logo upside down.

Not to mention the similar cloud/smoke tattoos that both got without ever seeing each other in 7+ years.

The connection that these two share is amazing. They’ve been non-verbally crying out for each other for so long and circumstance continue to keep them apart.

The beauty of that last scene is that in conventional shows, Vi's speech sounded like the breaking of a spell. Like if the hero was controlled by inner hate, someone would remind them of the people they love and it would get the hero to choose good over evil. But in this case, vi was just triggering jinx's trauma and making it so much worse, despite her intentions being to save Jinx.

Give me more Vijinx fics guys honestly I dont understand why this ship is so underrated,there is soooo much to create about them. Their dynamic and the obsessive tension between them was one of the first things that made me fall in love with Arcane and made me hungry. This line hits way harder when you realize only a few hours earlier she practically committed suicide after Vi leaves her a second time.

We've speculated that Jinx was trying to commit suicide on the bridge scene but that line almost quite literally makes that speculation canon. I can't believe I hadn't made the connection earlier.

Hence the "Vi" on her neck 😭

Jinx's attachment/love/obsession to Vi is endearing and so heartbreaking. I love their relationship because they need each other. And it may seem like the attachment is one sided but it's not. Vi's entire season arc revolves around Powder/Jinx. We don't get to see Vi open up much but when she does it's always connected to Jinx in some way.

"I spent so many nights in that shitty prison, on that freezing floor hungry, bloody, counting the hours. The only thing that kept me going was the thought of getting back to you"
