What does Islam say about "Dental Health"?
"Cleanness" is an important aspect of Islam. Please read the article given below.
MISWAK, TOOTHBRUSH, CLEANING THE TEETH
The part cut from the branches of a fruitless, fragrant tree called arak, which is very beneficial and which the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) advised seriously and which functions as a toothbrush. A tiny branch of tree used for cleaning the teeth. The plural form of miswak is “masawik”. Siwak is synonymous with miswak and it is mentioned more in hadiths. Its plural form is “aswika.”
The religion of Islam gives great importance to cleanness and deems cleanness as a sign of faith. It is possible to find commands and advices pertaining to keeping the body, the place where prayer will be performed, the workplace or the house, even the shady spots or similar picnic places where people settle down in order to rest clean. Some points about cleanness of the body, which emerge from the human nature and which the previous prophets have performed, are mentioned. Cutting the nails, removing the hairs in the armpits and the groins, shortening the long parts of the moustaches, being circumcised and especially keeping the teeth clean are among them. (For the cleaning pertaining to human nature see Muslim, Tahara, 56; Abu Dawud, Tahara, 29; Tirmidhi, Adab, 14; Nasa’i, Zinat,1; Ibn Majah, Tahara, 8; Ahmad b. Hanbal, IV, 264, VI, 138).
Cleaning the teeth also takes place among the practices of the previous prophets. “Four things are from the practices of the prophets: the feeling of modesty (chastity), scent, cleaning the teeth and marriage” (Tirmidhi, Nikah, 1; Ahman bin Hanbal, V, 421).
Siwak and miswak used for cleaning the teeth also have an aspect pertaining to worship. According to Hanafis (a school of Islamic jurisprudence named after Imam Abu Hanifa), it’s a sunnah (a practice of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)) of the wudu (ablution) and according to Shafi’i (a school of Islamic jurisprudence named after Imam Shafi’), it’s a sunnah of the salat (prayer). In that way, every time wudu is done or every salat time before salat, cleaning the teeth was aimed every day regularly.
As it is related from Aisha, the Messenger of Allah stated the following: “The merit of the salat performed after using a miswak is seventy times of the salat performed without using a miswak.” (Ahmad bin Hanbal, Musnad, VI, 272). Since the hadith is not very clear, the school of Hanafi states the merit occurs by using miswak while doing the wudu and the school of Shafi’i states the merit occurs by using miswak before the salat.
In another hadith, the attention is attracted to cleaning the teeth besides salat as follows: “If it would not be difficulty for my ummah (community), I would order them to use miswak before every salat.” (Bukhari, Jum’a, 8, Tamanni, 9, Sawm, 27; Muslim, Tahara, 42; Abu Dawud, Tahara, 25; Tirmidhi, Tahara, 18; Nasa’I, Tahara, 6, Mawakit, 20; Ibn Maja, Tahara, 7; Ahmad bin Hanbal, I, 80, 120, II, 245, 250, 259, 287, 399, 400, 429, 433, 460, 509, 517, 531, IV,114, 116, V, 193, 410, VI, 325, 329). On the other hand, several hadiths were related about the Prophet’s using miswak while doing wudu. Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) who had spent a night with the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said the following: “Allah’s Messenger (pbuh) got up near the end of night. He went out, looked at the sky and then he recited those two verses of the Surah (chapter of the Holy Qur’an) Al Imran: “Behold in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the alternation of night and day, there are indeed Signs for men of understanding, Men who celebrate the praises of Allah, standing, sitting, and lying down on their sides, and contemplate the (wonders of) creation in the heavens and the earth, (with the thought): Our Lord! You have not created this in vain! Glory to you, give us salvation from the penalty of the fire.” (Qur’an, The Family of Imran (Al Imran); 190,191 (3: 190,191)). Then he returned back home. He used miswak to clean his teeth and he did the wudu. He stood up and performed the salat. Then, he lay down on his side. Then, again he got up and went out, he recited the same verses by looking at the sky. Then he returned and cleaned his teeth by using miswak again, he did the wudu, then he stood up and performed the salat.” (Muslim, Tahara, 47, Musafirin, 183, 191; Abu Dawud, Tahara, 30; Ahmad bin Hanbal, I, 275, 350, V, 312).
It is observed that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) used to use miswak without pertaining to wudu or salat, especially he used to be careful at cleaning his teeth before reading the Noble Qur’an. The purpose at using miswak is cleaning the mouth. That general purpose is pointed in the following hadith: “Use miswak. Certainly, miswak is a cleansing for the mouth.” (Bukhari, Sawm, 27; Nasa’I, Tahara, 4; Ibn Majah, Tahara, 7; Darimi, Wudu, 19). It is narrated that the Prophet did not use to go to bed without taking his miswak with him and when he got up in the morning, the first thing he used to do was cleaning his teeth. (Abu Dawud, Tahara, 30; Ahmad bin Hanbal, I, 373; Darimi, Salat, 165). Some Companions told they could not count how many times he used to clean his teeth with miswak in one day (Ahmad bin Hanbal, III, 445, 446).
On the other hand, it is told that the Prophet asked some Companions who entered into his presence with yellow-colored teeth. “It is amazing, how you can walk around with yellow colored teeth. Clean your teeth by miswak.” (Ahmad bin Hanbal, I, 214).
All those hadiths and practices of the Companions demonstrate that cleaning the teeth is an important way of getting cleaned which should be heeded not only during wudu, salat or reciting the Noble Qur’an but also in terms of health and while entering the society. Considering miswak’s that general cleansing aspect, the Islam scholars attracted attention that in five situations, cleaning of the teeth is mustahab (recommended). Those five situations are as follows: a) When the teeth become yellow, b) When the smell of the mouth changes, c) When someone wakes up, d) When someone stands up for salat, e) While doing the wudu. The cleaning of teeth before reading the Noble Qur’an and entering the presence of the society were added to them. (Ibn Abidin, Rad al- Mukhtar, Istanbul, 1984, I, 116; al- Fatawa al- Hindiyya, Beirut 1400/1980, I, 7).
It was determined that the origin of miswak, the arak tree, contained some florin materials useful for the teeth health, gave nice scents to the mouth and had some benefits for the stomach. On the other hand, if there is no miswak, teeth should be cleaned by a toothbrush and by some toothpaste or soap prepared in conformity with Islamic measures, and if those do not exist, either, teeth should be kneaded by fingers and cleaned by water. Cleaning our bodies and mouths through wudu before performing salat and reciting Qur’an, and being careful about cleanness, which is deemed as a sign of faith, when entering into the society attract Almighty Allah’s love as stated in the hadith “Certainly, Allah is clean and He likes cleanness.” (Tirrmidhi, Adab, 41) Besides, Muslims take necessary measures for their health in terms of preventive medicine that way.

On 27 March 1625, King James VI died.
James was born on 19 June 1566 in Edinburgh Castle. His mother was Mary, Queen of Scots and his father her second husband, Lord Darnley. Darnley was murdered in February 1567. In July Mary was forced to abdicate in favour of her infant son. James's tutor, the historian and poet George Buchanan, was a positive influence and James was a capable scholar. A succession of regents ruled the kingdom until 1576, when James became nominal ruler, although he did not actually take control until 1581. He proved to be a shrewd ruler who effectively controlled the various religious and political factions in Scotland better than his successors ever did.
In 1586, James and Elizabeth I became allies under the Treaty of Berwick. When his mother was executed by Elizabeth the following year, James did not protest too vociferously - he hoped to be named as Elizabeth's successor. In 1589, James married Anne of Denmark. Three of their seven children survived into adulthood.
In March 1603, Elizabeth died and James became king of England and Ireland in a remarkably smooth transition of power. After 1603 he only visited Scotland once, in 1617.
One of James's great contributions to England was the Authorised King James's Version of the bible in 1611 which was to become the standard text for more than 250 years. But he disappointed the Puritans who hoped he would introduce some of the more radical religious ideas of the Scottish church, and the Catholics, who anticipated more lenient treatment. In 1605, a plot to blow up king and parliament was uncovered giving rise to the anual Guy Fawks night "celebrations" James's firm belief in the divine right of kings, and constant need for money, also brought him into conflict repeatedly with parliament.
Abroad, James attempted to encourage European peace. In 1604, he ended the long-running war with Spain and tried to arrange a marriage between his son and the Spanish Infanta. He married his daughter Elizabeth to the elector of the palatinate, Frederick, who was the leader of the German Protestants.
James's eldest son Henry died in 1612 and his wife Anne in 1619. James himself died on 27 March 1625 and was succeeded by his second son, Charles.

Love’s Labor’s Lost
August 23, 2018; Shakespeare's Globe Theatre

But when the Princess of France and her entourage arrive, it isn’t long before the all-male ‘academe’ have broken every one of their self-imposed rules. Shakespeare’s boisterous send-up of all those who try to turn their back on life is a dazzling parade of every weapon in the youthful playwright’s arsenal, from excruciating cross-purposes and impersonations to drunkenness and bust-ups. Whilst the event may have a slightly improvised air, the family is determined to make the best of its time together. As they attempt to focus on the traditional festivities, fears of the past and pressures of the future seep into the reunion and the precariousness of their position becomes increasingly evident.”
The Village

People work and sing while living off the land. And finding a partner is far from her mind. She’d much prefer a delicious meal. Things are happy until the Inspector and his men come back to town. On this day, 20 May, in Ottoman history
20 May 1586 - wedding of Ayşe Sultan and Damad Ibrahim Paşa: the eldest child of Murad III was married to the future Grand Vizier in the Old Palace in a magnificent ceremony. At the wedding procession, Ayşe Sultan was seated behind a screen of red satin on her palanquin surrounded by four horsemen. As she reached the gates of the Old Palace, Grand Vizier Siyavuş Paşa took the head of the cortège, on foot, and escorted the princess to the palace of Ibrahim Paşa where, dressed in the sable fur given to him by Murad III, entertained guests for days. At the end of the celebrations, the new damad was escorted to the rooms of the princess where he prayed, kissed his new wife and waited for her permission to sit down.
20 May 1622 - execution of Osman II: Halime Sultan, again Valide Sultan, suggested her son-in-law Kara Davud Paşa as the new Grand Vizier, and the janissaries consented. Osman, who had been taken into custody at the Orta Camii, was taken to Yedikule by the Grand Vizier and was strangled. Kara Davud Paşa sent Osman’s ear to Halime Sultan, and the deposed sultan was buried next to his father Ahmed I.
20 May 1856 - wedding of Abdülaziz and Dürrinev Kadın: the future sultan and his future Senior Imperial Consort were married in Dolmabahçe Palace. A year later Dürrinev gave birth to Prince Yusuf İzzeddin Efendi and to Seniha Sultan in 1862.
20 May 1878 - the Ali Suavi incident: Ali Suavi was a journalist, author and critic of Abdülhamid II. He was the figurehead of the third attempt to restore Murad V but the real organisers, according to Murad V’s kalfa Filizten Hanım, were: Prince Kemaleddin, Prince Süleyman, Seniha Sultan, Fatma Sultan, and Damad Mahmud Pasha, father of Prince Sabaheddin and husband of Seniha Sultan. Ali Suavi led about 250 refugees from the recent Russo-Ottoman War in an assault on Çırağan Palace. They entered through windows on the ground floor and, passing through the harem, shouted: “Ladies, don’t be alarmed! Don’t be frightened! We will do you no harm! And where is our Prince? Where is our Prince, Sultan Murad? We have come to rescue him!” “In the meanwhile our master had slowly come out of his apartments with the Lady Mother at his side and stood facing them. As soon as the men saw our master they ran over to him and threw themselves at his feet, then got up and gathered all around him. Our master spoke in a loud voice. We heard the following exchange: “What have you done with my brother?” “Sire, nothing’s been done with him yet. First we’ve come to swear allegiance to Your Majesty, then we’re going to depose him”. But before they could take Murad V out of Çırağan Palace, Hasan Pasha (security chief of the Beşiktaş district of Istanbul, which included Yıldız and Çırağan Palaces within its boundaries) had arrived with some policemen. Afterwards, the troops arrived and the rebels were slaughtered inside the palace. Natter #10   11/9/2020
And explosives are yet another subject of fascination for me as with so many others I guess. So what is it then about this fascination with fireworks? They certainly are attractive to watch and I love to handle and light them off myself - always have. In the USA it commemorates the declaration of Independence that saw the founding of this country and it's separation from England. It is held on July 4th, which is fine as far as being able to watch them in comfort, but not so good as it comes in the hot season when fire risk is very high. Many houses are roofed with flammable materials such as cedar shingles or torch-down felts and as they are usually hot and dry the inevitable happens quite frequently. I am not sure what traditions are honored in China and other countries but in England, the fireworks are lit off on November 5th, when the weather is usually cool and frequently wet which is an advantage as far as wildfires are concerned. Rooves in England are almost always covered in slate or tile or similar fireproof materials, which also last almost forever.( thatched cottages are the exception to the rule) I grew up in a house built in 1935 which had a tiled roof. We had to have a few tiles replaced following damage caused by torrents of hot shell fragments from anti-aircraft gunfire which banged down from on high for months during the war. But that roof is still good 85 years on. November 5th in England commemorates the foiling of a plot to blow up Parliament which would have been attended by the King and Queen. All this followed in the wake of Henry VIII’s breaking with the church of Rome, making him the head of the English church and Protestantism and starting the rift with the Roman Catholic church. His son Edward acceeded to the throne when Henry died, continuing his father's Protestant beliefs, but he lived for only a few years, before becoming seriously ill and dying. Before he died he set his sister Lady Jane Grey on the throne, because he knew that if his other, half-sister Mary Tudor came to the throne, being a Roman Catholic, she would reverse all the work he and his father had accomplished. Unfortunately, Mary was made of sterner stuff and managed to depose Lady Jane and have her beheaded. Nice family trait that! Mary reigned for the next five years until her death and in that time she had over 250 people burned at the stake for religious reasons ( ie they were protestants who refused to recant). This earned her the sobriquet of 'Bloody Mary.'   Elizabeth 1st succeeded Mary and Protestantism returned to fashion, and religion as you can see tugged folk back and forth, going in and out of favor over the years. Elizabeth in her turn destroyed umpteen priests just to show that she was an equal opportunity Queen. When she died, James VI  of Scotland became king. He was also a Protestant, which fact didn't go down very well with the many secret Catholics who had been hoping for a return to the Pope. And so those malcontents gathered together to plan a way to change things. Guy Fawkes was a Catholic who had spent some years fighting, as an explosives expert on the Continent against Dutch Protestants who were trying to establish themselves. This war continued for 90 years, amazing as that sounds.Guy had returned to London in time to be included in this group and very carefully they acquired barrels of gunpowder which they gradually moved into the basement of the Houses of Parliament The intent was to ignite the explosives at the Royal opening of Parliament, which would wipe out.not only the ruling Royal House, but also both parties of Parliament. Guy drew the short straw and was elected to light the fuse but was discovered by the night guard before he did so. He was tried and convicted, being sentenced to being "..hanged, drawn and quartered." ( 'Hanged' is the correct term here. People are hanged, meat is hung. Just thought you should know. I am sure that the prisoners would have appreciated the difference!) This is a serious sentence (as you can tell) designed to point up the heinous nature of the act of treason and attempted Regicide and to discourage any others who might consider doing something similar. The sentence is rather vicious, cruel and disgusting and if it interests you you might be better off checking on Wikipedia. And so, on every November 5th, still bearing a grudge, bonfires are assembled complete with a life-sized effigy of Guy on top and lit. Fireworks are fired by one or more people or you can attend a large public event. At almost all of these events, potatoes and bangers (fabulous sausages) are roasted and eaten and everybody goes home hot inside and along their front with their aft regions all wet and cold. Fabulous!  What is surprising is that it was illegal NOT to celebrate the anniversary of the foiling of the Gunpowder Plot until 1959! 'Never knew that and I have no idea what the punishment would have been for not doing so!
Good night and sweet dreams!
Your fearless leader,
Gordon

Shade blind casting, or non-traditional casting, has opened up alternatives for black actors, albeit slowly. There have been many black actors who performed white characters, however there’s nonetheless room for extra range in Hollywood general.
White characters performed by black actors have paid off on the field workplace as a result of audiences recognize a wonderful efficiency – no matter race. Whereas many followers reacted negatively the casting of black actress Noma Dumezweni as Hermione Granger in Harry Potter and the Cursed Youngster, others had been excited that such an completed actress was moving into the position. Even Potter creator J.Okay. Rowling defended the casting selection.
In lots of instances, black actors who’ve taken on white roles have modified the way in which a personality was seen eternally. Pink has been portrayed as black ever since Morgan Freeman performed the half within the movie adaptation of The Shawshank Redemption. We’ll all the time consider Agent J in Males in Black as Will Smith. Michael Clarke Duncan was so excellent for The Kingpin in Daredevil, that Marvel wrote a tribute to the actor when he handed.
This record seems to be at among the prime black actors who performed historically white characters. And whereas we’re speaking about non-traditional casting, which position would you prefer to see a black actor tackle? Let everybody know within the feedback

The casting resolution ignited a mini-furor in fan communities, as such selections have done in the past(and likewise this). James Gunn, director of Guardians of the Galaxy, took to Fb to handle these considerations, writing:
I can’t reply to the racists – I’m not ever going to vary their minds. However for the considerate majority of you on the market:
For me, if a personality’s major attribute – the factor that makes them iconic – is the colour of their pores and skin, or their hair shade, frankly, that character is shallow and sucks. For me, what makes MJ MJ is her alpha feminine playfulness, and if the actress captures that, then she’ll work. And, for the document, I feel Zendaya even matches what I consider as MJ’s major bodily traits – she’s a tall, skinny mannequin – rather more so than actresses have previously.

The death of paid-for advertising and the rise of “influencer marketing”
Recent research will be revealing something blunt: a substantial reduction in the effectiveness and power of"traditional" paid advertisements. With the debut of social media and its own development as the communication medium, people are able to quickly and easily view and read exactly what peers, friends, actors, commentators, along with critical influencers have to say in regards to a item, a picture, new music, a restaurant, holiday, travel choices, a new company support a bank, an insurance provider...or anything it might be. Folks expect that the influencer more and their decision and decision is nowadays far more driven by this than by some bit of compensated for advertising.
In the past 5 yrs, there have been Quite a Few improvements which have established"Influencer Advertising" over the value and effectiveness of paid for advertising: Several analytics: 69% of customers say their favorite purchasing channel Is by Way of Social Networking and social networks -Accenture survey 74% mention peer reviewed recommendation as the Crucial influence on their purchase Choice -IDC Analysis 82 percent of Folks use Tips from people they understand to decide what to buy 58 percent of customers state that they are ready to share their encounters of the company or Brand -Ogilvy /TNS report Influencer Promoting currently creates the Maximum RoI of marketing activity with up to 6x yield for each $ spent Alongside all the optimistic advancements across Social media and IM there happen to be other advancements which are making paid and display to advertising significantly less appealing: The number of people using advertising blockers has become believed at 200m significance about 20 percent of most the on-line advertisements never even gets witnessed! This tendency was encouraged by the likes of Apple who allow thirdparty programmers to market advertisement blocking apps in its AppStore. The expenses of online advertising for example have grown substantially within the past five yrs significantly diminishing its RoI. Marketing is now dominated by the duopoly of both Google and also Facebook who take c.65 percent of all online ad-spend (using Google with the majority of this ). This duopoly have led a considerable rise in advertising costs, estimated to have climbed 300% in the last five yrs, with eg Google price tag /branded click costing up to 61% more at the last 1 2 months (re-search by SearchEngineLand). Programmatic advertisements which is intended to enhance frequency and reach in cost-effective rates can be currently resulting in more economical, much less effective ad-space that virtually a number of their prospective audience will likely see. Additionally this automated way to advertising has led in some ads being put in the inappropriate location eg along with incorrect or indecent content, forcing some Brands to draw from such a advertising approach. In the meantime,"IM" has now reached critical mass and also is now beginning to outperform on line screen in driving conversion and sales. Influencer promotion spent my youth starting with the birth of the major social networking platforms in 2007/8. Then some evangelists, outstanding and unprompted, beginning running a blog and then vlogging sharing their own feelings and comments on everything and anything involving the most recent brand new item launches from famous Brands. Burberry was one of those earliest ever to recognise the developing influence and number of followers those everyone was using and begun to formalise its technique, among those first to article Facebook, to utilize Twitter, and also to adopt societal media marketing and pro motion through influencers because its principal advertising and marketing tenet. All the additional luxury brands have to a certain degree or other today followed and they have set the pace and trends to all B2-C manufacturers to check at exactly what societal media and IM can perform for these and also to examine and trial how effective it could be. Let's Think about a Couple Casestudies: General public Desire General public Desire (www.publicdesire.com) is a successful on-line start-up operating in the footwear industry, based originally in great britain with a primary purchaser foundation of 16 into 25yr old women, priding itself on competitive pricing and informed use of social networking and IM. Even before its official launch, it set up on Insta-gram to gauge customer reaction and to tweak its own product and offer proposal. "When we first started, Insta-gram and influencers were actually taking away...we understood that the possibility there and that I believe clients today are somewhat more loyal to influencers and More Inclined to react to these , more so the Actual influencer who is also a user Instead of a celebrity who is obviously being compensated because of their acceptance" "Our Instagram accounts struck inch million followers this past calendar year, we have 35k on Twitter and not quite 100k around face book and also have a exact impressive Snapchat following as well. "We feel you need to check in wherever your visitors are and in which they want to be and to understand how tech and the way that social media marketing is changing. We want to be the very first to promote what we perform. So farin our industry, there's no other apparel merchant on line who is as focussed and powerful in social media even as we have been." -Co Founder Ateeq Akhlaq LifeBEAM Wearable tech organization LifeBEAM desired to launch a new AI-powered personal physical fitness product, Vi. They chose to produce a fresh advocacy group to raise attention for the kick-starter campaign these certainly were utilizing to invest in this undertaking. Through the power of social media-this became a excellent success. Over a hundred brand recommends signed-up to market the brand using the promise of absolutely free product samples, discounted purchase price . They're also provided with item samples, demos and invites to to see/private occasions. These 100 became committed"disciples" and were instrumental in raising the 1.6m Kickstarter necessary. Since IM gets even a developed advertising and marketing application, so employers are denying that they do not need to signup the largest star they're able to. It has a whole lot more concerning credibility, which has come to be the most recent buzz. Finding individuals who are new users and already keen advocates, they're the individuals who have the authenticity and believability that can correctly influence others' purchasing behaviour. Such people now are also being clarified as"micro-influencers", possibly with merely a small have an effect on network themselves but who collaborated using a multitude of similar others can produce a highly effective group. Manufacturers also are discovering that micro-influencers are easier to locate , quicker to sign-up and much more eloquent in exactly what they say (as opposed to a celebrity figure who might be more prone to mention something unscripted!) . Also these kinds of micro-influencers cost-less. Most will bill c. #a hundred and often less per branded post. On Facebook, the average micro-influencer fee is just a generally a great deal less compared to a typical $250 per branded Facebook submit. This usually means that for a effort price of devoting $5-k, a fresh could expect eg approximately 35 to a hundred Insta-gram articles that will hit c. 200k followers, or even approximately sixty to 200 Twitter posts which could reach around 300k or around 35 to 100 Facebook articles which will reach around 125k followers, or even any mix. Not just a significant investment, the capacity to easily trial and install, in case unsure out source to a few of the multitude of agencies that now offer social media IM platforms and campaigns, easy to track and quantify, and discovering and diluting the capacity of that wider group of people who love your product, want to tell people about it and also happy to have a little commission to complete this. To amount up here are some more good examples of IM: Glossier Glossier (www.glossier.com) can be just a US-based start-up attempting to sell skin and beauty care products. It is often ranked as"Most Innovative business" and owes much of its early achievements and cult following to ever-expanding network of micro-influencers. Instead of paying several large titles, Glossier relies on"ordinary folks" to disperse the term. "What's quite inspiring is this idea of every single woman can Turn into an influencer with us...we Finally Have an referral application to enable more influential followers to connect people and to provide product discounts and other incentives to Their Very Own networks" Unilever Unilever has been doing something like its Dove brand of skin care, trying to boost its goal user base to comment and blog on its own products. "we would like to focus on empowering material. Every year users acquire more informed and crucial plus they ask more of all brands. So such as we have developed our Dove self confidence venture. That has made a wealth of reviews, persuasive reports and also ideas. It also currently features intends to move in to 165 educational institutions annually to lead courses, activities and offer sources. The entire Self Esteem programme has reached 1.5 million folks in great britain...it is an conversation the newest is devoted to having with women, but we are also committed for this longer term as well as the upcoming generation." -Alison Fisher, Unilever Marketing Manager Hall-mark Hallmark, the greeting card provider, decided they needed to participate a great deal more effectively with their crowd and find strategies to encourage visits for their own internet site and use their collectible handmade cards. They chose to build an internet community of families who'd a massive numbers of followers and who enjoyed sharing and posting photos on line...they had a lot to select from! They invited them to combine with a program which will run on Instagram to talk about personal moments from their loved ones getaway. They were encouraged to present"frank glimpses" into their own family holiday traditions. In exchange for post these photos, they've been invited to share them by their particular followers and network also to insert hyperlinks to Hallmark's personalised homemade cards. You will find decorations for the best images and families had been given free use of Hallmark's personalised discounts and service to other merchandise. Whilst an easy task to prepare and implement, this IM campaign was highly popular and successful and was voted at the yearly Shorty awards as one of the ideal IM initiatives. The goal audience put in more than 25 million moments engaging with content. Hall mark realized a good share of voice in all the main element societal media by which everyone was sharing and posting holiday pictures. Most notably for its very first time for Hallmark it built at very inexpensive a influencer base and set of relationships which may be leveraged for future activity. One of the Absolute Most thorough research on the ROI of utilizing Influencers has been performed by Nielsen Catalina Solutions. They followed the promotion efforts of the Fortune 500 consumer goods company. Here are the results: Influencer marketing yields an Yearly ROI of 23, in Comparison to $4.30 on the brand's best performing banner ads For each 1, 000 viewpoints, affecting earned $285 in incremental sales Influencer campaigns brought in 11 times the ROI of traditional advertising over the Duration of annually "No wonder that 84% of Marketers at a latest survey said they proposed a minumum of a IM effort annually ." -Marketing Insider Group

What a treat to be running again at another beautifully maintained National Trust property with today’s parkrun at Wimpole Estate, Cambridgeshire that magnificent hall is surrounded by 3000 acres of park and farmland!!!
History
The Chicheley family owned Wimpole estate for some 250 from 1428 onwards and between 1640-1650 Thomas Chicheley built the beautiful hall that you can see today!
The house after 1686 then went through a number of wealthy families until 1976 when the then Elsie Bambridge left Wimpole Estate in her will to the National Trust that still run it today.
National trust
I would like to heap a great deal of praise on the National Trust who do an outstanding job in persevering these historical estates and allowing parkrun UK to open events to share in the beauty of running around these magnificent parkland estates!
Congratulations
The main purpose of my visit to Wimpole was to help celebrate with my very good tourist friend the lovely Christine Imbert who run her 250 milestone parkrun on Saturday, outstanding effort Christine!
For the record the cake and company made for a very lovely morning. Great to meet Christine’s friends Pippa White & the TV (Tame Volunteer), Alison Symonds-Tayler, Miriam Jorna, Dennis Lancaster, Lindsay Middleton.
parkrun World Tourists
Special mention to another one of Christine’s friends who also attended Cass Castleton (pictured below in blue cap) who is a parkrun tourist legend, founder of the Facebook parkrun Word tourist Group and holder of so many records it makes me giddy just thinking about them all!
If you fancy qualifying to become a member of the world tourist group you will have to complete a parkrun in least 4 separate parkrun countries 🙂
He also brings cakes for all the Hi-Vis volunteers at each parkrun event to enjoy afterwards, great touch Cass!!!!
Happy Birthday
Finally on the mention of celebrations big well done to local park runner Maggie (lady in red top) who celebrated her 50th birthday parkrun on Saturday!
Happy belated birthday Maggie and I hope you enjoyed your run 🙂
Course
Beautiful single clockwise 5k lap around Wimpole Estate that is undulating in design and is almost entirely run on grassland!
Dog Loop
A first for me on my tours, never seen a separate start line for park runners running with their dog’s that is about 200metres ahead of the main field, simultaneously start with the main field, they then run a extra dog loop just after about 1km for them to make up the 5K distance 👍🏻
Great idea to split the start locations as this event regularly gets over 400 runners every week!
Other points to note
The main climb is about the 2km point with a steady rise followed by a right turn with a steep short incline to the top of the hill
This event state trail shoes is best to run in at Wimpole but in dry weather normal trainers will be fine
The grass paths are a little bit uneven, so just keep an eye on the route ahead
After either prolonged wet weather or in the winter months they revert back to their multi lap winter course that is run around the flat part of the estate!
Finally there maybe cattle on the course, so just to be weary around them
So, Wimpole Estate course is a beautiful single lap course that challenges your fitness, but is 100% well worth the effort to complete just for the views alone!
My time was 43:13
Facilities
There is paid meter parking at Wimpole Estate with a flat £2 day charge but is free though for all National Trust members Sat Nav SG8 0BW. Toilets are available at the back of the stable block near the car park!
For the post run coffee, you have a choice between a mobile cafe run by the estate next to the finish or if you want to sit down with your hot drink and food the is always the lovely Old Rectory Restaurant that opens its doors from 9am!
There is so much extra things to do at Wimpole after parkrun you could easily spend the rest of the day they’re just exploring!
Final verdict
I would like to thank this week’s run director Christian and his team of volunteers for making us all in our group feel extremely welcome on our visit, top work guys!!
So, if you are looking for a stunning single lap event to attend then Wimpole Estate has to be high on your parkrun tourist list, you have all been told!!!!!
Best
