Inspired by Max Nonnenbruch's Young Beauty, 1892

I’ve started writing more poems as the words come to my mind every second when I get inspired. Last year was a major inspiration for me but I’ve stopped writing for a while until last week. Something clicked in me when I saw Renaissance paintings and words came flowing down onto the paper in front of me. This one’s inspired by Nonnenbruch’s painting which reminded me of a woman sittin in a sunny Mediterranean house looking outside to the sea.

I also couldn’t recognise myself after I edited the photos. I should seriously create more of these because I’m addicted to pre-Victorian paintings of women, ghosts, mansions, and mythological characters.
