Miya&Mia's Tickletober Day 6 - Movie

Victuuri

A/N: I this one got a little longer, but I don't think a read more is needed, hopefully! I hope you all enjoy this~

Yuuri had confessed his best kept secret to Victor... well, it wasn't something that Victor hadn't already realized by now, but he still knew that it was something very difficult for Yuuri to admit.

His little face had turned unsightly red, Victor worried that Yuuri would faint at any moment. His eyes became watery with embarrassment and he fidgeted with his fingers almost desperately, but in the end, he was able to finally say it:

Yuuri liked being tickled.

Victor was thrilled. He most absolutely loved to tickle Yuuri. Oh, to feel his little body squirming and jerking under his touch, seeing his beautiful, big grin and hearing his absolutely breathtaking laughter was simply the most amazing thing in the world.

Victor had comforted him, saying that it wasn't bad at all and that he thought he was very adorable and that he, most importantly, loved him no matter what. Yuuri had calmed down and even smiled with relief, but Victor didn't tickle him and Yuuri didn't ask him to tickle him either.

In fact, more than five days had passed since that confession and Victor, although his fingers itched to make Yuuri laugh, thought that the natural thing was that, since he knew the secret, Yuuri was the one who should ask him to tickle him.

Right?

Victor wasn't so sure anymore and he sighed heavily as he settled himself on the couch, Yuuri quickly finding a spot glued to him, whining that he was scared.

Victor chuckled, "Yuuri, you can go to our bedroom," he said gently, kissing the top of Yuuri's head. "You're not forced to watch this movie with me."

Yuuri was nearly crying. He wasn't fond of scary movies, Victor knew this perfectly well, so he made sure to tell him in advance so Yuuri could go and watch tv in their room if he wanted, but instead, his little katsudon decided to stay there with him.

"But… what if you get scared all alone?"

"Aaaackkk!" Victor whined, hugging Yuuri tightly. "You are so cute, Yuuri! Fine, let's watch it together then!"

Victor didn't let go of Yuuri as the movie started. He held him tightly against his chest, cradling him as if he was hugging his own child, gently rubbing his back and kissing his forehead, but he could feel Yuuri's heart beating like crazy. His lover was really scared, wasn't him? Victor thought maybe it was best to stop the movie, but then he suddenly had an idea.

The movie was quite predictable, he barely reacted at the first jumpscare, contrary to Yuuri who jumped five feet in the air with a squeak. Victor had to giggle as he hugged Yuuri even tighter.

He waited for the next jumpscare and just when it was going to happen-

"EEKAHAHAHA!" Yuuri's laughter drowned out the loud scream from the tv. Victor laughed as his fingers dug into Yuuri's soft skin, tickling him. "Vihihihityahaha!"

"Yuuri," Victor said, stopping his tickling. "I have an idea to help you to not get too scared!" Yuuri flushed. "Every time there's a very scary scene, I will tickle you."

"A-Ah?! B-But I-

"So you'll start to learn when the next jumpscare will appear- like now."

"Ack! Ahahahaha! W-Wahahait! I wahahahasn't reheheady!" He said, giggling brightly as Victor dug his fingers into his ribs.

"Okay fine," Victor answered, stopping once again and rubbing Yuuri's back comfortably to help him relax. "But next time there's no waiting for you. If you don't get scared, I won't tickle you, okay? But if you do…"

"Ehehaha! Okahahay, gohohot it!"

Time and time again, Yuuri would jump at every scary scene and Victor had to tickle him every time until he was pink in the face and Victor simply couldn't get enough of that sweet laughter.

"Hiii- AHAHAHA! N-Nohohot thehehere!" Yuuri cackled when he felt fingers wiggling under his arms, and even though the scene was brief, somehow those mean fingers were tickling him mercilessly. "V-Vihihictor! Thehe m-mohohohovie- ack!"

Victor embraced Yuuri and turned their positions over, now Yuuri under him, pressed against the couch.

"Yuuri, the movie is almost over!" He said, starting to tickle Yuuri again. "Are you pretending to get scared just so I tickle you?!"

Yuuri's face got completely red and Victor worried his teasing had gone too far, but Yuuri barely did anything to stop his tickly hands against his ticklish sides.

"N-Nohohoho! I r-reheheally gehehet scahahared!"

Victor chuckled, his fingers moving down to Yuuri's tummy, making him laugh brightly. "I don't believe you. I think you just want me to tickle, isn't that so?"

Again, a string of fear pulled at his heart, but he was rewarded by a beautiful cackle when he grazed Yuuri's hips.

Victor laughed when he saw Yuuri's head moving affirmatively just as his hands moved to Yuuri's hips and upper thighs. His lover shrieked with hysterical laughter and he tried to kick his legs and twist his upper body, but Victor held him down nicely.

His cute Yuuri looked so beautifully happy. So joyful and alive, Victor could barely stand it. He stopped momentarily, to give his red-faced lover a break.

"You really want me to tickle you, Yuuri?"

Yuuri nodded breathlessly, smiling dreamily at his lover. "Yes, please? You haven't… done it in a while and- ahahahaha! But not thehehere!"

"Oh sorry, you already said that! So more tickling to you!"

"NAHAHAHA! WAHAHAHAIT!"

The movie was soon forgotten, the screams barely audible over Yuuri's nearly hysterical laughter. After all, maybe he didn't necessarily need to be told by Yuuri that he wanted to get tickled and that was a relief because he wanted to have his hands all over Yuuri the whole time.

"Yuuri... I heard this movie has a second part!"

"NOHOHAHAHA!"

“What?” Draco said, finally looking Potter in the eye. Potter’s eyes were wide and green below his raised eyebrows. It must have been the lenses of his glasses sharpening the flecks of color in his irises, because they were almost shimmering in the light of the hundred-year old sconce on the brick wall behind Draco’s head, and oh fuck, he was still looking Potter in the eye, what the fuck, how was he supposed to get out of this, now? In which our heroes become reacquainted in a pub, spend a whole day together that turns into night, and then...? Featuring a minor freakout (Draco), a brand new song (Harry), and affectionate exasperation (all of their friends). Will Draco figure his shit out before Harry gives up? Will Harry survive the Venomous Tentacula? Will Draco ever decide which tea he wants? Will Harry's HooTube commenters ever forgive him for falling in love?

As the Lights is a stark departure from last week's read: Open Fire by Slytherco. With tags like "musician!Harry", "flying teapots", "lots of blushing", and "lots of grinning", you might expect this fic to be super cute and fluffy--and you would be absolutely right! Zezilia gives us just enough angst in this Enemies-to-Friends-to-Lovers story to make the getting together feel genuine and believable without making us doubt for one second that these boys we love so much will end up happily together. Reading this story made me feel so warm and fuzzy that I inhaled it in a day, and I highly recommend you do so as well! In addition to the classic, very gay trope of the "24 hour date" and musician!Harry's smoldering good looks and endearing friendship with Luna (who fronts a band called Luna Lovegood and the Good Loves !!!!!), there are a couple of specific things I want to shout out about this story:

🐣 Draco Malfoy's Journey to Healing His Inner Child Is there another person, real or fictional, who needs to heal their inner child as much as Draco Malfoy?? Arguably Harry James Potter, but when we meet him in this fic he's well on his way. I love how Zezilia skillfully peppers in all these little but significant ways that Draco is trying--consciously and subconsciously--to re-parent himself and to replace all the vicious, unkind voices that have populated his head for so long. His mirror has the voice and personality of someone's doting grandmum, for goodness' sake! But beyond that, we get to witness Draco learning how to allow himself to be earnest, to openly enjoy the things he likes, and to be a little weird! It helps that he has two of the world's best friends, Sophie and Ravi (Zezilia's OCs), to encourage and support him. Honestly, I desperately want a Sophie. It's so gratifying to watch Draco not only love himself for who he really is, but learn that other people will love his true self, too.

🧙🏻‍♂️ The Wonder of the Wizarding World I adore the ways that Zezilia has woven the most magical parts of the wizarding world through this story. The way that they use magic to embellish scenes and complicate the characters lives is so delightful. Whether it's a particularly bawdy painting of a shepherd tending his flock (and other things), the most magical sounding café with Cheering Charm-infused pastries, or a magical park full of animated (and also bawdy!) statues, Zezilia doesn't hold back on the whimsy!

And a bonus: this fic is pro-Hot!Neville, and so am I. So very much.

Okay, so technically speaking I have read everything Bee has ever written--much of it several times--which means this was a (blissful) re-read for me. I've gushed about my favorite stories Bee has written before (starlight (the unsuccessful return of a runaway prince), to be a bit of warmth (for you), you bring me home, their kinktober 2021 collection, for starters) but I have yet to really rec this one. Since most of my mutuals will be familiar with the way Bee writes our favorite boys, Draco and Harry, I am here to implore you to dig into their Yuri!!! on Ice fics on AO3, even if you aren't familiar with the source material!

Bee takes all the tenderness, care, and intimacy which which they write their Drarry stories and carefully molds it to fit these two lovely, anxious men. What I love most about Bee's writing is that they are able to gently pick up two characters, see right to the heart of them, and then translate all their deepest desires and fears right onto the page in beautiful prose (and sometimes verse!). This means that while morning light feels undeniably "Bee" in its tone, pacing, and use of endearments, the relationship between Viktor and Yuuri is unique and so true to their characters. Viktor (off-screen) is bold and confident and commanding, while Yuuri (everywhere, all the time) is anxious, self-effacing, and unsure. In this close, intimate moment Bee manages to capture all of their facets, allows them to let their guards down, and helps them to grow even closer to one another. This fic is warm, quiet, blushy, and so, so lovely!

Interesting dream I had…

It was a whole thing. My mother texted (through someone else’s device, I suppose) that she forgot her phone at home to give us a heads up, and it leads me and so many more people to Walmart. I go there first, then a few of my siblings or some randos who don’t exist in real life follow. When I’m scanning groceries with my mom, I point out that the dude at the cash register opposite of us threw away an article of clothing it looked like he was about to buy. It makes me incredulous for whatever reason. On the other side of the store, Samuel L. JACKSON overhears me and laughs at my outburst. We look at each other but unfortunately, we never talk. Since the man threw it away, I decide to take it and buy it for myself because I like it.

Eventually, one of my brothers comes to the store and then I’m with him and these other black people. He either gets a FaceTime or a phone call that’s incredibly loud yet he does nothing about it. Then JABARI BANKS comes to the store, not because of my mom’s text, but because Jazz’s actor didn’t show up to work today…and the reason for that is because of my mother’s text 😐 I learn later that the man threw his clothing away on accident, so I give it to his wife, who then leaves. Later, when he’s leaving the store, he asks me where it is. I look through my bags but can’t find it, so I decide to help him look for it. After a long while, when we’re about to give up, I finally recall where it put it and relayed that information to him. I’m pretty sure his wife wanted to surprise him with it somehow.

That little adventure led me out of Walmart, and when I return, several Genshin characters are awaiting me way past midnight. I act like they were here all the time. I remember Venti, Childe, Itto, and maybe Gorou, since I comment that this is the first time in a long time I’ve seen so many Geo characters here. Unfortunately, I also don’t get to talk to them behind that remark.

The scene teleports to the man’s wife from earlier (I think, anyway). It seemed to be a pseudo-Valentine’s Day, and she was on her way to meet her husband. I controlled her, of course, both body and words. I said I likely would return home after going to him, but that my friends and family shouldn’t wait up for me. I ate this pink yogurt that was sinfully good for some yogurt. It might’ve gone bad, however, because I don’t remember to put it in the fridge before going to bed.

I’m not sure when this part takes place, but La Signora was playable. She was a Cryo catalyst who used only one hand to fight, while the other stayed crossed.

FINALLY, I was watching an anime where two of the characters where dating or on the path to a romantic relationship. It turns out one of the guys was Yuri Katsuki, because a friend of theirs asks when Yuri!!! On Ice comes back on, and his boyfriend (Daisuke?) seemed upset. They have a discussion later about their relationship, since this means Yuri is already attached to someone else. So then I ask myself why I shipped these two when Victuuri already has my heart…? Plus, it would be cheating. Anyway, Yuri isn’t concerned. He seems to be on the verge of saying him and Victor aren’t in a relationship, and my brain must’ve known I didn’t wanna hear it, because I woke up soon after.
