sappy and rambly -> i caught up on vidcon and just wanna say the main panel blew away my every expectation and im so happy and proud we’ve all come this far. ccs and fandom alike. they truly deserved that fanfare and we’ve been waiting forever to see them get it. watching them come on stage to the deafening roar of the crowd i couldn’t help but just thinking oh finally.. finally. yk. it was so cathartic. finally getting to visualize our fandom and our joy in real space and passing that energy physically to our ccs. i wasn’t even there and it was magical . it’s been a long time coming and even though we were nervous it felt like a really valuable post pandemic maturing for the fandom as a whole. for me it was simultaneously an important closure and the start of a new era too bc this is only the beginning. future cons meetups shows lovejoy dreams face reveal tommys standup tubnet etc etc… there’s so much to come. and i can’t wait to follow our ccs anywhere <3

there is no cringe. shut the fuck up this is a fandom panel. dumb questions are fine. cosplayers are fine. as long as they’re not asking invasive questions or being rude they are fine, but even if they do those things they dont deserve to be harassed and called names and shit. 

this is going to be the first convention and panel for so many people. they’re going to be nervous, they may not think through the best questions. who the hell cares.
