The Kurayami AU

The Kurayami au is a nomu Aizawa au that takes place in a Ranking AU scenario. I live to mash together aus.

As with all of my ranking au scenarios, the Commission is the real villain of the story, which leaves AFO in a spot where I can make him the better of the two. This is an au where AFO grows a heart basically due to taking in these two kids rip.

Shouta was experimented on, brainwashed, and trained by the commission to track down the now vigilante/villain rooftop squad. He failed multiple times, so they decided to start using him for spare parts by the time AFO decided to raid the Commission Facility he was in. No name, no memories, no hope, Shouta was only known as Null then. AFO had to pull out some recessive quirks in his genes to actually get his body funtioning again. Hence the nomu part of all this. Gave him the new name of Kurayami and tasked him to watch after Tomura as well as other tasks.

At the time of this au taking place, Shouta and the rooftop squad are 20ish, and Shouta was Null from 16 to to 18, so he's been in AFO's care for 2 yrs.

Listen, I swear I’m not crazy. It just… in a parallel universe it makes sense!

In Vigilantes young Shota Aizawa is shown to be good a working with/caring for young children. He even seems to find it rewarding. So it’s not to far a stretch to say that in a parallel universe he might have skipped the hero route (or aggressively abandoned it after the violent death of his best friend).

He also respects and enforces the sacred nap time. No one ever misses nap time in Mr. Aizawa’s class.

His quirk also makes him uniquely qualified for dealing with young children who have limited control of their own. In a world where a playground squabble could result in fireballs and lightning being thrown around like confetti having someone who could shut that shit down fast would be ideal.

So in this strange AU, Aizawa was interning at a preschool in Aldera when these two dorks were there. So he was present for Kacchan’s quirk manifestation and Izuku’s ‘diagnosis.’ And you better believe that he nips both of those complexes in the bud.

He has the wonder duo in his preschool group until they’re six and by the they’ve imprinted on him for life. It’s made worse because Katsuki and Izuku are a couple of trouble magnet latchkey kids and nine times out of ten Aizawa is the only adult within 10 miles who can deal with their shit. They are a headache and a half, but he can't just ignore the fact that he just watched his two five-year-old students walk through a villain incident to get their limited edition All Might Merch.

Fast forward to when he and Mic are nemesis/dating/quietly causing the HPSC to implode though their city spanning battles of nonsense in the darkness of the night.

One day Mic will be bugging Aizawa in his civilian persona and suddenly these two middle school brats will yell, "HEY!" and without thinking Aizaws's parent switch gets turned on and he turns to Mic and is like, "....my kids don't know about any of this please be normal for five seconds.'

And we get Mic blue-screen. And then, 'ah, yes, kids. I am obviously a step-father now.' While furiously, mentally going through every person his darling Eraserhead could have possibly had children with and thinking of the many ways he could have them exiled to a desert island.

Because, hey, he is a villain.

Damn I love the idea of ​​just- imagine Villain Mic, Villain Zawa, Villain Oboro ( Kurogiri 🤷‍♀️ ) and Aia having mini them-

To summarize the thing, Kuro is the dad who mainly has to watch Mic from his bullshit 4-year-olds because he just wants to have fun, Mic the chaotic child who only lives for games and entertainment, Aizawa who is clearly this cat who is always sulking and who must not shit and Aia who is the little ray of light from the moon which illuminates the darkness that her three there occupy with a lot of love and affection... she is much too nice for this world 🤡

Aizawa: he had blonde hair tied into a messy bun and had lots of sound related gear, his quirk is voice based and it was too dark to see his face clearly but i think he had a mustache and some sort of tattoo or marking on his face…healsohadveryprettyeyes.

Okok I’m back to talk about this AU idea!

So basically In this AU the hero industry has become corrupt, double standards everywhere, entertainment focused on more than Justice and peoples rights and many heroes are convinced that there’s nothing wrong and they’re doing the right thing when they’re being used as political puppets without even knowing it

Heroes themselves are effectively brainwashed into not realizing anything is amiss and anyone who dares to question the authority figures suddenly seem to disappear off the grid

I wanted to focus on present mic for this AU bc I love him so much and yeah- but basically he becomes a “villain” though I was going to write it more of him being an antihero where he tries to take down the current hero industry as it’s gone too far in how it operates and needs serious reform

For a design I wanted to go for a cyberpunk inspired costume which I sketched out!

A lot of this has been inspired by a lot of music I’ve been listening to recently and also some other stuff I’ve been thinking about and I’ll also link a Spotify playlist of that music that’s been inspiring me!

Later on in the story I was going to have Aizawa join mic after a lot of convincing that led him to learn the truth and some others pro heroes that I haven’t decided on yet!

Also please feel free to suggest ideas! This all sort of came to me in an hour or so like it’s nowhere close to fully put together ^^’

BNHA AU Idea - Let's Kill Sensei!

I just got reminded assassination classroom is a show that existed so im shamelessly cribbing the premise.

Midoriya Izuku didn't make it into the hero course. Without a quirk and only 10 rescue points - it just wasn't enough. Still, his score in the written exam saw him placed in gen ed - class 1C - with all of the other failed hero students. The classroom has an uncomfortable vibe - the recent and abrupt retirement of All Might after a villain attack on his home left him badly injured, coupled with their own failures, leave them all on edge.

To say they were expecting the man who walked into their classroom would be a mistake, but the gut wrenching fear that followed was almost expected.

All for One, the man they'd all seen nearly murder All Might 3 months ago, grinned - red eyes squinted in real mirth. "Hello, students. What on earth shall I teach you today?"

1C has 1 year to kill their homeroom teacher, or he takes over Japan. 1 year to kill a 200 year old villain with more quirks than UA has students. The student who kills AfO will be given 1 billion yen and moved to the course of their choosing.

What AfO hasn't told anyone is that he has a special gift for the student who manages to off him - if any of them do.

Featuring:

this is a deal with UA and the HPSC - UA wanted him with 3rd year heroics students while the HPSC insisted on gen ed - UA thinks the students have a chance, while the HPSC wants cannon fodder they can throw at AFO so they have extra time to plan.

the only person aware of this deal on UA staff other than Nezu is Present Mic - the man who was supposed to be gen ed's homeroom teacher. Nezu wanted to tell Eraserhead as well, but AfO argued that that was an unfair advantage to UA

gen!ed uraraka - without her rescue of Izuku, she didn't get enough points for the hero course

Dad for One - but Izuku doesn't recognize him (its been like 10 years, plus 'Hisashi Midoriya' had black hair). It's pretty clear Izuku is AfO's favourite student. but given that just means hes even tougher and like. Also a murderer. No one is particularly jealous.

Izuku, Shinso and Uraraka friendship - none of them really have anything to lose - either they are the ones to kill AfO or their lives are over.

BNHA - Villain!Mic AU : Pirate Radio

Put Your Hands Up!

100% Mic's villainous secret lair is a pirate radio station of his own construction. He has a scheduled broadcast every Friday night that has a pretty devote cult following (and its been getting more popular since he figured out how to hijack other radio frequencies to do some self-promotion and, you know, broadcast his voice to a wider audience).

His most popular show is Chatting With Heroes where he kidnaps a random hero off the street and aggressively interviews them and asks them hilarious, invasive, and very pointed questions about their work as heroes and more often then not very blatantly exposes some of the rot within Heroics Society as a whole.

He tried to have Aizawa on one or twice but the man legit gets panicky when he’s being recorded in any way and panicky Eraser rapidly becomes terrifying cryptid Eraser. And while Mic is a very open and honest host he’s really not ready to air his kinks to his adoring fans quite yet.

… at least not deliberately.

Izuku and Katsuki listen to his show every Friday night because they’re unattended kids year olds who don’t realize it’s a hostage situation. Izuku has so. many. notes about hero weaknesses.

He brings a lot of stuff to light heroes taking liberties, the gross commercializations, incidents that go unreported, and the horrible mental health crisis on the rise in the hero community.

One of the ones he grabs is greenhorn with a compulsive truth quirk who is stuck working for the HPSC. She legit has a nervous breakdown as she’s interviewed and Mic just decides ‘don’t worry your my henchwoman now.’

And she just is after that. Chatterbox mans the lair and runs the radio show while Mic is out being a public disturbance while trying to stick it to the man/seduce eraserhead. Chatterbox high key ships it and plays romantic/sexy music whenever they duke it out in the lair. And Aizawa is so done.

And the lair is the biggest eyesore in Naruhata. It is an obnoxious yellow building with a frankensteined radio tower and satellites sticking out of it. Its under the name of some American named Presentation Michael and no one has ever made the very obvious connection between mic, his pirate radio station, and this one big obnoxious building.

Except Aizawa but he’s too conflicted to turn him in. Right up until he learns that problem child number one has been a fan for years and suddenly knows too much about Aizawa’s personal life because Mic broadcasts-
