13. if you met your oc, would the two of you get along?

maybe? she's very kind and open which is nice, but she's also so confident that i think it would intimidate me ajdfgsd.

18. is your oc more cold and detached or up close and personal?

definitely more up close and personal! olympia likes to get to know those around her, likes to offer physical affection and words of encouragement and kindness when she can. most of all, she likes being a warming presence in the lives of those around her.

19. how does your oc behave when enraged?

olympia is quite good at tempering her own anger, at least in most situations. she is very efficient with her anger, and is usually able to channel it into other places that will better serve her, like her magic or mace if she's in combat. she still feels the anger and doesn't believe in closing herself off to the emotion - she's just got very good at focusing it into something better, into something she can wield.

20. does your oc have a tendency to get jealous? if so, how does this manifest?

she's never been too prone to jealousy, mostly due to her confidence. she knows who she is and what she's worth, and trusts those around her enough to know the same.

💋 how affectionate are they with their friends? their family? their romantic partner(s) (if they have any)? are they more physical or emotional when it comes to displaying their affection? why?

she’s not very physically affectionate at all, which is surprising given how touch-starved she is dhdsjkdsjk. her and vuren were sort of demonstrative with their affection when he was her padawan (and even after, actually) and they often hugged in greeting etc., but since him, she hasn’t been very touchy. especially not with quinlan (for hopefully obvious reasons??? shdsjkds). she’s more physical with obi-wan when they see each other, and he’s probably the person she touches the most, but it’s not like they go around holding hands all the time.

she’s more emotional when expressing her affection i guess? she’s definitely more likely to voice affection than anything else (‘stay safe out there’, ‘you matter to me’, ‘we cant lose you’, that kind of thing shjdsjkdsjk). siv’s also big on protection as a love language hsjdsjk so there’s that.

🌹 how easy is it for them to connect with others and make friends? on the flip side, how easy is it for them to make an enemy of someone? are they the kind of person who hangs around the food table at a party and never talks to anyone, or are they the type who can talk to anyone?

ok this is complicated, because it’s very easy for sivala to connect with others, but less so for her to make friends. she’s empathetic to a force-enhanced degree, by which i mean: she can rly infer a lot about someone’s nature by their presence in the force and how it appears — unless, of course, they have no presence (like palpatine pre-empire). but she also doesn’t trust very easily and comes off a bit intense in conversation, so she’s... not the best at making friends. she’s not cruel or mean to anyone, she’s just... intimidating. especially if she isn’t bothering to turn on the charm, which she usually only makes use of when she deems it ‘necessary’.

she’s charming enough that she can talk to anyone if she wants to (or feels she has to, for that matter), but in her most natural setting, she’s a bit more of an introvert. she likes observing conversations more than she does partaking in them; she gets all the noise of companionship and none of the attention :)

🍑 where is your OC’s favourite place to relax or calm down? recount a story of their time spent in this place! what makes it so special to them?

honestly? just hyperspace shsdjkdsjk. she feels her safest in hyperspace bc — although she’s not much of a flier — from what i understand it’s pretty unlikely she’d be attacked there??? dshjsdjksdjk the girl has severe ptsd and hypervigilance idk what else to say abt that. she sleeps her best in hyperspace for this reason, too! 

she’s not very attached to her apartment on daiyu (and in fact has a bag packed at all times, just in case she has to disappear) but the hustle and bustle of the planet outside soothes her, i suppose? sitting in silence too long is painful for her. i guess she might feel a bit comforted on jabiim, too (probably moreso than daiyu, bc she’s having to hide less about herself) but she’s still more alert than most people, even there.

😊 what can make your OC smile even when they’re feeling down? what cheers them up and makes everything feel better for them? is your OC generally a happy person and do they enjoy making others smile? what about your OC makes others happy?

🌸 what does your OC’s voice sound like? their laugh? are they good at singing? do they have an accent?

sivala’s got a pretty husky voice! low, calm; she doesn’t rise and fall a lot in intonation, unless she’s trying to manipulate someone, when it might become sort of... melodic and soothing. her laugh is quiet and private, more like a huff of air, but some of the men under her command during the clone wars swore they’d drunk with her before, and then at least her laugh was throaty and rich. louder.

accent-wise, she’s chandrilan through-and-through, bc she could already talk by the time the jedi brought her to coruscant. very queen’s english is how i’d describe it; crisp and enunciated. like keira knightley, without the weird thing she does with her teeth/lower jaw DHJDKSSJD

6. What were they like at school? Did they enjoy it? Did they finish? What level of higher education did they reach? What subjects did they enjoy? Which did they hate?

jens was a brat! a great student who reverently adored certain teachers. made one genuine friend very young and then had a very broad and vapid social circle of people who she’d mad dog and manipulate for practice and fun and profit. craved friends but couldn’t outwardly express that bc of menzoberranzan norms so she cultivated a learned coldness and aloof demeanor. LOVED math tbh and also literature. HATED anything athletic at all.

10. Do they like children? Do children like them? Do they have or want any children? What would they be like as a parent? Or as a godparent/babysitter/ect?

she loves children! her parents left jens and her brothers to lead the household responsibilities (and all the things that come with having a powerful title and holdings in the city of spiders) when she (the oldest and the only daughter; default inheritor of the titles and power) was young - especially for an elf.

so she kind of assumed a role of protector and caretaker by default. she has complicated feelings about this but she gets along with children and definitely sees herself having one or two! I think she’d fully melt into the softy that her mom was with her - but on the surface and freer to be kind and gentle! :’)

(ok and also it is literally seen as weak and reprehensible to be kind/soft in menzoberranzan which is why her parents left in an effort to protect their name and the family without having to ever be outwardly cruel. it is complicated and i thinks jens would have a complicated relationship w parenthood because of this)

27. What makes them sad? Do they cry regularly? Do they cry openly or hide it? What are they like they are sad?

jens revels a bit in being free to emote and feel openly but she was HURT by the first person she let in on the surface outside of her family so crying is something she really struggles to give in to! but plenty makes her sad! she gets sad when she thinks about her youngest brother on his own, still carrying their family legacy in the underdark. she gets sad when she loves people and they hurt. she gets sad when she thinks of the time she lost to numbness for the sake of protecting herself. there’s so much! when she gets sad, her smile gets tight and she excuses herself to sit alone quietly and she just stews in it until she can move on with her day

35. What’s their guilty pleasure? What is their totally unguilty pleasure?

during chiller/more peaceful times, jens will spend full days in pajamas it’s her hobby it’s her passion

her unabashed unguilty pleasure is making up little kitchen songs and songs to sing around the house when she is alone they are ALL silly and they are ALL full of whimsy

oh man oh man. lyssa was on titan when it happened, and after watching everyone else slowly disintegrate she had mentally prepared herself to go as well.

.... but then she didn't. instead she couldn't do anything but stand staring blankly off at the stars as peter disappeared in tony's arms, as nebula screamed and kicked out at the charred remains of the planet. all she could think about was earth and the friends she'd left behind, and the dread of being alone again. thanos had broken her arm and stabbed her in the fight, but it took her a few hours before she even noticed the pain and concentrated enough to heal herself.
