Sory if this is rude, but I saw you talking about Millie being fine with her development, and yet you say Demencia isn't developed enough. I'm not upset I just wanna know the difference
It's not rude. I get what you mean.
Basically, Millie was very scarcely shown in a bit of old art Vivzie made, but nothing much displaying her personality. Her officially being shown is in Helluva. While it has been over a year, the show is still in its first season and has 7 eps. It's a lot to be asking for character development from that little amount of time.
Now, for Dem, you may think the same thing if you're a newcomer. However, Villainous has been a thing for over 5 year. They've had several shorts, orientation videos, comics, and Q&As talking about it. Yet Demencia seems to remain the exact same. This would be fine, if that whole episode 6 thing was just as episodic as the rest of the eps. But it wasnt, even giving some development to Flug, Heed, and even Goldheart.
Demencia's personality is chalked up to: She punches people, eats living and inanimate things, is in love with BH, and is crazy. That's really it. The only thing they added was that she seems to care a bit more about Flug, but the translated script pretty much erases any of that. I mean, the most anyone can say about Demencia in the show is that she's a beast......like what???? Excuse me? In a world where there are Lovecraftian beings, demons, dinosaurs, dragons, and aliens.....this Hot Topic-looking chic that you couldn't even tell is spliced with anything without her hoodie and with such long hair that anime girls would tell her to cut it....is a beast to you?? I dont give a shit that she can crawl into her hair....Cthulhu exists in this show for God's sake! I just wish there was more to her.
Basically, Millie is still being developed in a show that's still being worked out, while Demencia is a character that seems to just be annoyingly static amongst others who seem to move farther ahead.
