Illustration by one of my favorite paperback artists Ernest Chiriacka, who would alternate the spelling of his name, sometimes under Chiriaka and sometimes simply under the moniker Darcy.

HELVA! A true classic, The Ship Who Sang by Anne McCaffrey. I love the blue tones and the understated spookiness of this cover by Alessandro Biffignandi from Ballantine in 1970.

Bringing In The Lords of Chaos, Bringing Up The Beasts of Hades: I've noticed throughout my perusals that Raquel Welch's famed pinup from "One Million Years B.C." and Tom Chantrell's one-sheet art for the film have been cribbed fairly often for use in other promotional material in movie posters, pulp novels, and comic art throughout the years.
