To tide you over until I get to the library to scan, here's passable photos. I'll get the whole booklet into an album on my drive in a bit:

Love taking a pattern from the 80s that my grandmother made for my brother when he was 4, and using it to make sweaters for my kids in their favourite colours.
Luckily I practiced making this one 15 years ago when my brother mentioned he wished he had an adult sized one….

Had to pull it out a couple of times. First due to a gauge issue, second because I was stranding behind the belly rather than proper intarsia and I hated how it looked.
Now I just have a tangle of yarns, but a good looking dinosaur.

I finally finished the glove!!! I'm very proud of it and with about half a year's worth of work going into it I'm also very excited to be done with it. Don't look to closely at the thumb though, it was a bit finicky.

i felt so POWERFUL when i finished this top muahahaha 🤣😂 a while ago a 1940s vintage pattern popped up on pinterest that i wanted to knit. i heavily modified it, used my sewing patterns as a reference for each piece, and changed a few things, but i think it worked? ☺️ *happydance*

chat I’ve got issues
I finished a project so that means I get to cast on another and did this! it’s a vintage… something pattern (theoretically a bag of sorts, but the directions say to make it to the size of “the carton”?? but that has yet to be explained by either the pattern itself and/or uncle google)
and, also obviously, the first time I’ve ventured into color territory (as seen by the floaty guts (it took me a few rows to figure out how to anchor properly)) and I’m kinda,, goblin? holding?? my yarn?? which is okay but I’m not a fan of so I have one of those yarn rings on its way in the mail to hopefully let me knit the way I’d like
any tips/comments/resources be v helpful 🤗 I’ve been mostly using Nimble Needles on YouTube for help

I have so many vintage patterns I can’t remember where I got this one. My cousin gave me a ton, but I’ve also been collecting them over the years. It’s a 1940s mail order one sent out by Hoard’s Dairyman. Other mail order vendors included Anne Adams and Marian Martin.
I was hoping the pattern would be one of the tops or the slip set, but it turns out…

…it’s a really cute apron. that’s not even on the back. I’ve been trying to do some surface pattern designing, and I thought it would be neat to make a “cut and sew” design. But what do I put on it? Apples and pears like the drawing? Cowgirls to match my kitchen? Flowers with a matching tea towel? This is the hardest part of surface design - besides the actual drawing, arranging stuff, and making repeats that don’t make weird patterns themselves.

A much needed update to the vintage glove pattern I'm following. I've been taking a bit if a break from this pattern to work on some more projects to avoid getting bored of the mignonette tatting. I hope to finish the first glove soon so I can start working on a plethora of Christmas gifts but we'll see.

Knitting a vest at the moment and i really like how it turns out. The pattern is simple and easy to remember, so knitting it is amazing!
The pattern is from 1951 and it is free on Ravelry and Freevintageknitting.
