To my delight, I was commissioned to create this custom vintage UK style railway poster - with a Railway Series theme - to be displayed on a client's model railway layout! Even better, there's a backstory to this one.
The "Island Pullman" is Sir Topham Hatt's answer to Belmond, a luxury service that starts from Liverpool and travels across Sodor, along the main and Arlesburgh lines. At Harwick travellers enjoy a coastal cruise and overnight stay in a local hotel before returning the next day.
Henry has the duty of pulling this special train, and you can see him doing so here www.instagram.com/harwickharbo…!
This was great fun to work on and it's such a delight to see my work displayed like this.
If you'd like me to make you something similar, feel free to send a message!
