These two passed their dynamic testing with flying colors! Both of them are over 50 years old which makes that so much more impressive. The sekonic is easy to use if a bit finicky with the different settings for when the 2 light sensors are used. The weston uses Weston Emulsion rating numbers, which on my meter is about half the ISO number. I tested them against a Canon DSLR and while they didn't agree every time, the test shots with the handheld meter settings always turned out great. How will I choose which meter to use when? Mostly aesthetics but also the Weston is a lot bigger and heavier than the sekonic. I think I'll use the sekonic with Japanese cameras and the Weston with cameras made in the USA. My polaroid 110a however matches the aesthetic of the sekonic better despite being made in the USA 🤷‍♂️.

I e had the one on the right for a while and bought it from Rock ’n’ Roll vintage in Chicago a while back maybe 2017ish when I was with @jeremyordan and @joshklinghoffer for Tom Petty at Wrigley and back to back RHCP shows. Got motivated this morning to replace the broken LP/BP/HP switch and put some knobs on it. Works like a dream and the one on the right I have to thank @edpettersen for being an outstanding gentleman as usual and floating that my way. Power switch and all! Not going to lie: there are FIVE rare (and spectacular) vintage Telecasters visible in this shot from a visit to my friend's collection. HOWEVER...can I please request that you confine your attention to the one in the middle...just for a second! 😉

1969 Fender Rosewood Telecaster.

The all Rosewood Tele was made famous when Fender gifted the original to George Harrison, and George can be seen playing it in the famous Beatles' "Rooftop Concert" atop 3 Saville Row, on 30th January, 1969.

I have seen several MIJ reissues of this model, and even a few Custom Shop shop versions...but this is my first "real" Rosewood Tele.
