One piece female characters are so weird honestly

Their designs are either the same over sexualized body type with the same face or a caricature. Their clothing always follows the same weird style and most of the time teams only have one of them. And sometimes they just get the shit end of the stick (Tashigi is my best example)

But like

I adore these girls. They’re always so different and varied in personality and motivations. They always have a point in the plot only they could solve and are doing everything they can for what they care about. Hell, Vivi fighting tooth and nail and clenching on for her country is what hooked me on One piece in the first place

All of these female characters are different and surprise me from what I expected. The abuse Chiffon and Pudding went through from their mother, Rebecca and Violas attempts to get back their country, Otohime’s exhaustion from trying to make things better, the implied horrors Boa and her sisters have gone through.

And of course, Nami and Robin. Two women who are the cornerstones of One pieces best arcs because they were given the moment to shine

Three of these shy flower fairy creatures are now available on my Etsy shop, "milkweed way!" 🌷🐈 💐

They're called shrinking violets - little cats with petals for ears, and a drawstring you can pull to close their petals over their face. I'm hoping to make a series in the future but for now this is the only member - they're all completely handmade and hand-embroidered, so there's only 3 available!

This one is named Violet (they/them). They're based on the flower heartsease (Viola tricolor) and they're ~nonbinary colored~ (wow!)

After Viola's wife (the cat in the glow) dies saving her from a monster, Viola (once a humble apothecary) goes missing, refusing to go home until she finds the secret to bringing back the dead out of overwhelming guilt. When her attempt at performing this ritual fails and destroys her hometown, she flees, refusing to accept her fate. She ends up joining a guild of adventurers investigating what happened to magic and where the monsters came from to find salvation.

When the guild returns to the city she once lived with her wife, it's been years. She runs into her old friend Tim who's struggling to make a living after their merry band fell apart. Babysitting for a living is honest work, but some days it's hard to keep going after losing so much. None the wiser to who was comforting him that day, she leaves a bevy of questions behind once he learns the truth a few days later from her distraught daughter.
