NIKE
We visited the Nike store in London and looked at their inside and outside window displays. I think even though it is very simple, the design and the way they have created the slogans is very creative. It is simple yet complex and nike tend to do a lot of movement designs for the displays whether that is for the window or for the mannequins. I am pretty sure there wasn't a lot of outside displays but inside was very colourful and bright with the clothing range they had out, but the walls and designs were very simple yet complex. They had different floors dedicated to either football, sports/gym, and their regular clothes/trainers. The white footballs on the wall is so straightforward and easy yet it gathers the attention of the customers inside the store. They had the primary colours of red, blue, and yellow splattered onto the clear wall which is effortless but attracts the eye. However, the outside of the building from the nike store was my favourite thing because the little section that is full of colour is quite fascinating because you don't see other brands doing such crazy ideas. Whatever they portrayed on the outside of the building, they did the same to the inside. I wish there was more colour but when you walked into the store then the colour would hit you instantly.

I love seeing advertisements in Hong Kong. A friend of mine made it onto an Adidas Visual Merchandising Board, this little girl is adorable and there are more examples of this throughout the city. It’s unexpected so I appreciate it.

Planograms, the art of arranging products within store shelves, have now emerged as a strategic cornerstone that holds the potential to redefine the retail landscape. As online shopping continues to win the consumer heart, physical retail spaces are undergoing a comeback, reimagining themselves as immersive destinations that go beyond transactional exchanges.

Special pride month throwback to October 2020.
No longer working at the shop, but as far as I'm aware The Gay Agenda is still on display above the satin shelves.
