I saw someone on twitter say the vocaloids in prsk have canon ages (compared to the actual vocaloids who don't), is that true? I assumed vbs Meiko (and Kaito and Luka) were adults because she owns a cafe and that one whiskey joke with Akito, and I'm still unsure if the l/n vocaloids are highschoolers, but I don't think anything has ever been stated, right?

like with the vocaloids normally, the prsk vsinger ages are pretty vague, yeah. The only ones you can pin are the School SEKAI ones. Miku is treated as a senpai to L/n, but KAITO/MEIKO/Luka are treated as senpais to Miku, making Miku a 2nd year (16-17) and the other three 3rd years (17-18). Rin and Len aren't treated as senpais meaning they must be 1st years (15-16).

As a general rule of thumb, KAITO, MEIKO and Luka are always treated as older, and Rin and Len are always treated as the same age and as children. I don't know if KaiMeiLuka are meant to be adults in every SEKAI, but they are in Street SEKAI and it's implied that they are in Stage SEKAI. I'm pretty sure the EN version says that Street SEKAI Miku is an adult, but I cannot for the life of me remember where this was stated (also it's not a thing in the original text). Oh and WxS Miku is implied to be younger than the members of WxS, but it's still very vague (I'm not sure if KAITO knows exactly how old she is) (#2 here).

I'm pretty sure that's as far as it goes though.

Guess I fell into the Project SEKAI brainrot-

I made a wheel generated Unit Swap while bored, but I ended up being invested in those idiots, and here I am with my first group- I present you the Leo/Need equivalent of this AU, called 神秘 Mountain (Shinpi Mountain)! A school band composed of people who could not abandon music, some trivia just under !

As I’m also new to pjsk and would like to make friends, I created a discord server you can find just here! The sever focus not only on this AU, but on Unit Swap AUs in general (as I’m weak to them), and anyone with an Unit Swap AU can have their own channel !

Some trivia about the band :

- Ichika is the leader, the order is Ichika -> Minori -> Akito -> An.

- In this AU, Saki never got better, and after seeing how lonely Ichika was, her parents transferred her to Kamikou for high school.

- Minori also failed her exams because of her training as an idol, and ended up having to transfer at Kamikou.

- An and Akito met each other in middle school, and teamed up for a while to surpass RAD WEEKEND, but after An accidentally found out about Nagi’s death shortly before their entrance in high school, they have stop singing in Vivid Street, feeling too betrayed to come back.

- Minori is in Akito’s class, I haven’t decide for Ichika though.

- It is very oversimplified, but they formed for a contest of school bands, and they represent Kamikou. Their band name is actually a reference to Kamikou, as 神秘 have the kanji of 神 (god) that you find in 神山 Kamiyama, and the second kanji, 山, means « mountain ».

- Their SEKAI is an old Japanese school, which seems haunted. This SEKAI scares An a lot at first. (Some of the future vocaloids are straight up ghosts) It is born from everyone feelings.

- The base vocaloids are Miku and Kaito. Miku is a bit mischievous, while Kaito is kind of a respectable senpai.

- They’re all at least asexuals. Bonus for Ichika, who is big Aroace, who doesn’t understand why the heck people are so into romance.

- Akito learns the keyboard from Ken, in order to compose songs. An learned the bass from her dad or Nagi. Minori learned the drums for an idol audition.

did he ever watch bunny girl senpai for the horny but end up really liking the plot? who’s his favorite from quintessential quintuplets? (i’m guessing nino)

does he watch sports anime? if he did, was it for the actual sport or because it’s very Gay? i’m guessing the second one has he watched sk8 the infinity? did he look at random green and pink objects together and go “oh my god matchablossom in the wild”? did he headcanon reki as trans because he kinned him? did he watch haikyuu and fall in love with iwaizumi hajime (27) athletic trainer? did he cry scream and throw up at “we are the protagonists of the world”? did he read in another life and call up pete and ruth saying his life was over and would never be the same?

i will never know the answer to any of these and i’m very upset about it so i thank grace for having sex with a ghost

AU VERSE. : PROJECT SEKAI. kamui gakupo.

SCHOOL SEKAI. gakupo appears in the school sekai as a cool older brother/senpai type with a rebellious streak, but is also very sweet, caring, and has a bit of a tendency for clumsiness and innocent mistakes. there's a number of instruments he can play, but can more often be found simply singing. he's heavily influenced by saki and shiho's perceptions of their older siblings.

STAGE SEKAI. the bad boy idol archetype to mirror len's princely idol archetype, but only really embodies this onstage. his main role in the stage sekai comes to be giving the girls advice on balancing their lives and not getting lost in their work so they don't lose sight of having fun for themselves. he's influenced by older/experienced idols that used to help airi, shizuku, or haruka back when they were with agencies.

STREET SEKAI. a dancer/choreographer who comes to the street sekai to help vivid bad squad make their performances more dynamic. he's a bit of an enabler to any mischief in and around the cafe but knows when to step back and be reliable when he has to, and acts almost as a bridge in behavior between kaito and meiko. he's influenced a bit by everyone's imagination of how radder might have been when they were younger.

WONDERLAND SEKAI. he's not as much of a performer as the other vocaloids in the wonderland sekai, and prefers helping with production matters, such as costuming, props, backgrounds and environments, and lighting/sound, though it isn't unheard of for him to take supporting roles for the others. influenced largely by the sense of responsibility tsukasa feels as a troupe leader with the addition of rui's responsibility as director, this gakupo is the most down-to-earth vocaloid in this sekai.

EMPTY SEKAI. while he at first seems to be similar in personality to kaito or rin, it's quickly obvious that he's just got a resting angry face and is actually pretty lighthearted. this dissonance is influenced by mafuyu learning to feel and think for herself, and the emotions she's learning to put names to. he's very open with the circle and loves spending time with them.
