Gaea, by geographical incidence, got strange and shifty travellers. The citizens were not as afraid as other enslaved planets; a rebellious race, at the roots, and full of immigrants and insurgents who’d made their bed upon the small planet.
Cambridge attracted the uncanny of these citizens. There were rumours it was because, in Cambridge, they still practiced magic.
The universe is big, scary and complicated. This is the story of how a witch, a scholar, a zombie and a runaway overthrow an intergalactic fascist regime, and life somehow continues, while they’re at it.

ANOTHER VOLTRON DREAM!!!!
Guys I just had the langstiest Voltron dream ever! I might actually write an entire fic on it because there was so much content!

So in my dream I was watching season 5 and the 4th episode was called “Lance’s epilogue: after him”.
It started with quick pictures of the Voltron Team through their fight against the Galra. We could see the way they aged. How Keith grew his hair long; how Pidge was replaced at some point by a muscly guy (probably an alien) with a mask without explanation; how they saved planets and formed a coalition controled by an intergalactic government; how scars appeared on the team’s bodies; how the government was corrupted and they were forced to all separate in order to hide and save themselves; and how the traces of war appeared more and more on their features and in their eyes. But we finally ended up with a more positive view of things as Lance’s story began.
Lance was underwater. He had been turned into a shapeshifting mermaid and was living underwater as the ruler of a mermaid population. He looked happy, had a wife and a young son. His appearance was really different. He had long curly hair that had turned a little lighter due to the planet’s water and a side cut with patterns into it. (made me think of Coran’s hairstyle when he was a teenager)
Then, they recieved a message telling them that vessels from the intergalactic government (now the bad guys, I’ll call them IG from now on) were approaching the planet and that they had to evacuate as soon as possible. So Lance sounded the alarm and everyone boarded the ships. They had no time to loose and Lance was really busy. Then, as the ships were taking off, Lance’s wife came to him. She looked distressed and asked him if he had seen their son. He asked the closest persons to him, and none had seen him. So he asked the ship itself to do a count of persons. There was someone missing. Panic rose in him. He demanded to be dropped from the ship, but his friends and other officials refused. They said that they had no choice but to leave the planet now if they wanted to save their lives, and Lance knew that he had responsabilities as everyone’s leader. With dispair and profound sadness in his heart, he was forced to abandon his son for the well-being of the rest of his people.
They escaped for a few years. Lance never smiled again the same. They were hunted down and couldn’t take a day off. So Lance never had the opportunity to have other children. And then, they were finally found by IG ships. Lance was then in his early thirties or so. He knew from all the enemies surrounding them that they weren’t getting out of this. It was the end for his people and him. He wanted to fight more. He wanted to protect his people, his wife. He wanted to avenge his son’s possible death. But there was nothing he could do. He had done the most he could for the universe, and for his new home, yet it had not been enough to save either of them.
As his people’s ships were being destroyed right in front of his teary eyes, Lance was dragged by his friends and his wife in a single-place escape pod. They forced him in even though he screamed that he prefered to die with them than fly away to save his life. Then his wife hold his face gently, crying, and smiled at him softly. She said:
“Your fight isn’t over, my love.”
And the pod closed and took off as the ship exploded.
He escaped unscathed physically but broken mentaly. He lived as some kind of underground rebel, trying to continue to fight for the universe and innocent civilisations. But it didn’t last long. His mind couldn’t take the pain of loss, and the impression that his small actions were now meaningless with no more Voltron and no more rebel groups standing to protect the universe. He was alone and tired. He didn’t understand why his wife had told him that it wasn’t the end of his fight.
After a difficult undercover mission against the IG, he was able to single-handedly save an entire planet, but it left him seriously injured. He was able to clandestinaly board a ship that was leaving the planet, but he knew deep down that he wouldn’t make it out alive of this trip. Then he received an unexpected video call on a half-broken cellphone-like device. He took it, curious. It was Keith. Lance was so happy to see a friendly face in his last moments that he smiled for the first time in so long. Keith told him that he looked terrible and Lance told him that he felt terrible. He continued by saying that this was the end for him, that he had lost so much and tried so hard, but could only do much. And then Keith shushed him with a gentle smile. And said:
“This is not the end, Lance. Your small actions were heard of across the universe, and rebellious movements are starting to grow everywhere. You did well Lance. Thanks to you, we will finally fight back.”
Keith had contacted Shiro and Hunk, and they were finally ready to take up arms again. Lance laughed softly. Keith stayed on the video call, talking about their future uprising and how his and the other’s lives had been since they seperated. Lance told him about all he went through. And in his last moment, he thanked him for staying “with him” until the end.

I was friking crying when I woke up!!! I was so freaking sad, I thought it was real because it was so precised and well-developped! Thanks subconscious mind for these heartbreaking langsty dreams!!!

This is that rambling post y’all been dreading
Bear with me as I work through my feels.
WELCOME TO PARENT’S DAY!!!!!!
Every. Single. Episode was dedicated to the parents in some way, shape, or form, whether it was rescuing Sam (I love him, more on this story tonight at 9), killing Zarkon (Hi, wow, not entirely surprising but), Haggar finally remembering everything, KEITH’S MOM (Krolia ILU!!!!!), and finally, reference after reference of King Alfor.
Alright, numero uno, Lotor is so so good at manipulation, just a master. Is he helping them out? Yes. But all of this faith and good will works in his favor. He earns the respect of those around him, but he then uses that to his advantage. Maybe he does want peace; it would certainly make it easier to rule if you didn’t have to worry about quelling every possible uprising out there, but he wants some sort of unlimited power, and he was furious he didn’t get it for himself.
He used Allura to get into the sacred land, with every intention of using them to get the power for himself. Now he knows he can’t have it, and has to continue manipulating Allura to gain the power he wants. A kink in the plan for sure, but one that he has already laid the groundwork to accommodate.
Every reference to Alfor plays to Allura’s emotions, but he is also well aware that she holds all of Alfor’s potential. He has to have her to accomplish what he wants.
But, mommy dearest is clearing the path for him too, without his knowledge. Once Haggar realized what Zarkon was trying to do, she immediately turned on him, and activated Kuron stage 4. I believe, 100%, she is manipulating Shiro subconsciously. Every decision Shiro made was in favor of helping Lotor. She knew Lotor wouldn’t be able to defeat Zarkon without help, so Shiro gave him his weapon. He needed a way to the Kral Zera, queue Shiro escorting him there with the Black Lion. Lotor needs someone in his corner to argue for his plans. Enter. Shiro. And of course, now, it’s clear that she can use him to spy on them, just like she did with Narti.
But Shiro knows something is up. In the Astral Plane, it was clear that something wasn’t right with Shiro. It took too long for him to appear, which I believe is attributed to him fighting his other side in order to regain control momentarily, and why he called out to Lance hoping that someone would realize what was happening. Plus his form was shadowy, poorly formed, a sign that he was barely in control.
In addition, he doesn’t remember exactly what happened, another sign that he has two sides battling it out for control. He said “I don’t feel like myself”. If that isn’t a red flag, y’all are color blind.
It’s going to come down to Keith. This is all building up to Keith coming back for something, a joint mission, seeing everyone face to face again, and IMMEDIATELY knowing something is wrong. This isn’t even wishful thinking; they’re so in tuned with each other, he’s going to know. They’re going to frame this against Shiro talking to Lance, who brushed it off as lack of oxygen when clearly that was not the case.
Or even better, or worse, Shiro will turn on them mid mission, and Keith will have to stop him. He’d do anything to make sure Shiro is safe. It won’t matter if he’s part of the mission or not; once Keith finds out, he’ll be halfway across the Universe before anyone can get a word in.
BUT speaking of Keith, HOW ABOUT KROLIA?!?!? Omg, if it wasn’t obvious from the first image. Now we all know where Keith got his good looks, and have, hopefully, satisfied everyone’s curiosity of what Keith looks like as full Galra. Even the lines: “Shut up and trust me”! Like mother, like son. And this one: “I gave you up once”. Wait, hold the phone, gave you up?
Step back with me a moment.
There have been theories floating around since the introduction of the BoM that Keith’s mother was a member, obvious from the blade, but that she forced to return to space for something. Now we know that for a fact. But why was she on Earth at all? How did she meet his father? I’m sticking with the old crash land, nursed back to health, fell in love, but she CHOSE to return and let her fellow BoM know she was still alive. Why?
To protect her family from the Galra Empire.
If they defeated Zarkon, then Earth will never be threatened by them, and her family would be safe. I wonder if she knows what happened to Keith’s father though.
Oh, yeah, hey, and how about those Acxa - Keith parallels? Half siblings perhaps? Just remember, crazy theories have been proven correct with each season, and we all know by now that every frame is placed with care; every clue laying the framework, if you just look for it. I’m not saying it’s crazy; but it is out there. There is a reason they keep meeting.
So take a step with me to the Holt’s. Aren’t they cute? Sam is the giant dork every knew he would be; where else would Matt learn it? I’m so glad they found him. That lifts the burden from Pidge and Matt to focus entirely on the task at hand, leading the rebels and fighting the shattered Galra Empire.
But Sam returning to Earth opens up an exciting potential narrative. How will Earth respond to this threat? Sam returns in an UFO, no two ways about it, after being missing for who knows how long, talking about being captured by aliens and how there’s a giant intergalactic war taking place and the Earth needs to prepare its own defenses.
This may be set in the future, and you can call my a cynic, but the thought of even anyone at the Garrison listening to him seems absurd. There’s no way. He’ll be locked up like they tried to do with Shiro, to study him and the spaceship, which would come to one Galra and one Altean craft.
My guess, Earth will be the endgame. Haggar and, to a certain degree, Lotor will use it as leverage to get what they want from Voltron. Threaten to destroy it and everyone they love, just like they did with Altea.

what’s everyone’s favorite foods?
Lance: Cornbread, frijoles, and some flapjacks.. you name it! Can’t blame a guy for wanting a normal meal when almost everything in the castle’s storage feels like sandpaper!
Allura: ...I feel like I should take offense to that but you’re actually right.
Keith: Ramen’s my usual go-to when I’m craving something with some salt.
Pidge: At this point it should be more than just a go-to, the guy just keeps hoarding them from the last Space IKEA we visited!
Sven: ...also I suppose ice cream isn’t so awful.
Keith: We have to keep him from looking at the lunchables or else he gets antsy.
Pidge: Cold cuts are my lifeline, but you DARE withhold it from me? Who are you, my mom!?
Sven: Don’t listen to him. I just put the ham at the top shelf.
Hunk: A bowl of curry’s nice every now and then! I play with some seasonings every now and then to see what works well for the others. Did I mention they also steal my leftovers sometimes?
Lance:
