Corrupted Treant Heart
Wondrous item, very rare (requires attunement by a Druid)
This twisted and blackened wooden heart is strung through with thorny vines and worn as a pendant.
Thorns dig into your neck while you are attuned to this magic item, and your hit point maximum is reduced by 5. Your skin develops a black and spiny bark-like appearance and you gain the benefit of the barkskin spell (doesn’t require concentration). Additionally, creatures that hit you with melee attacks take 1d4 piercing damage.
Once per dawn, as an action you can cause a surge of thorns to erupt from the ground in a line 5 feet wide and 60 feet long. Any creature on the same surface as you that is caught in this area must make a Dexterity saving throw against your spellcasting DC. On a failure they take 8d4 piercing damage and their walking speed is halved until the start of your next turn. On a success a creature takes half damage and its walking speed is not halved.

Another post today (things are coming out pretty quick recently XD) and this one is a follow up on the Fantasy Heraldry Bases that I put out a few days ago!
These are the symbols for putting over the bases to make some awesome shields and banners for your fictional worlds and maps, and given how many bases we made, the combinations are truly endless!
I had so much fun making these and I can’t wait to add some of them to the maps I’m going to make in the future! I know a few people have shared their designs on the discord already but if you do end up making some yourself putting them on maps or using them to world build I would love to see them! :D
Hey everyone! I share the River version of my last map. I hope you like it. Your support and comments are very important to me. Download the full resolution image of this map at my Patreon, as well as alternate gridless, Abandoned Monster, Spider, Torchlight, River, Lava, Winter variations!
The Bridge of Spirits
This week's map features a sturdy bridge built a very long time ago. Over the years, many spirits have decided to call the waters below their home and can be seen occasionally playing together or luring in passers by to the deceptively strong currents!

The Astral Sea is an expanse of stars, wishes, and nightmares. Some believe that only spells of great power can take you there, but if you know where to look you may find it's shore around a hidden bend. You can walk along the waves leading to outer planes where gods and monsters dwell. The sand is white and made of crushed diamonds. The water warm and full of dreams. A Lighthouse sits on a promontory warning leviathans away from dangerous shores, and calling weary travelers home.

Far beneath the surface, where the light of the sun has never touched, the eternal darkness is broken by otherworldly fauna. Fungi glow softly in scattered corners of the vast cave network, spores of light gently drifting through the gloom on warm currents. Although beautiful to behold, the plants down here are just as dangerous as the lurking wildlife, take care adventurer.

The Observation Tower
This week's map features a solitary observation tower along the edge of a secluded cliff. Many scholars have worked here and observed the stars but they always seem to end up disappearing...

A narrow ravine is looked over by ancient monoliths that bask in the blazing sun. These sentinels have existed for far longer than the two villages either side of the ravine, their origin and purpose remaining a mystery to even the oldest elders. One fell at some point in history, perhaps deliberately, creating an improvised bridge between the two sides. Villagers use the bridge to cross between the two settlements, making sure to stay clear of the standing seven as there has been rumours of strange occurrences when an individual has stepped too close.
