Pick Tumblr's Favorite Pokemon, Day 27!
Here's today's batch of pokemon! Who's your favorite? Remember, these first rounds are not single elimination - every pokemon with at least 10% of the vote will move on! (Note: I pretty much exclusively use the android app, which doesn't have decimal points yet. If my app says 10%, it means 10%, even if it's 9.5-9.9% on the web)
Also, congrats to yesterday's winners!

Have you done the braviary/mandibuzz lines for the reviews :3?
(I prefer to do one line per review, so I'm going to split this ask in half and do the Mandibuzz line today and do Braviary tomorrow)
Vultures are some of my favorite birds, so I gotta say, this line is a real treat. While a vulture Pokemon sounds pretty straightforward, this line plays around with the fact that they're scavengers to create something really unique and interesting.
Case in point, Vullaby. Normally I dislike any sort of "diapered" Pokemon—it's far too humanoid for my tastes, and human babies are far less cute than baby animals anyway. However, in this case, the "diaper" not only looks like a cracked egg, but it's also an upside-down skull, with the legs coming straight out of the eye sockets. That's such a morbidly awesome idea that I can't help but love it.
Outside of that, the simple brown and pink color palette is pleasant and the vulture influence is obvious, not just in the bones but also with the bald heads. I also really like the general personality of this thing, which looks just like what you'd expect a creature that wants your skull to look like.
While Mandibuzz doesn't have anything quite as clever as Vullaby in its design, it does still have some fun bone elements in the form of its "skirt", which is actually just a jawbone of some kind. It also has am additional bone in its hair, which makes it look remarkably like a cavewoman without being too on-the-nose about it.
Speaking of which, this line is all-female for... some reason. Not sure I entirely get why, but I do appreciate that they decided to make the female-only bird line vultures of all things. The design also isn't overly "feminine", with the only vaguely female-ish elements being the eye liner and the jawbone skirt.
Outside of that, it keeps most of the elements from Vullaby in-tact, including the colors, the bald head, the bones, and the neck scruff. This keeps it coherent as one line while establishing unique elements for each evo.
So as a whole, this is a great line. Aside from being pretty unique birds in general, the use of bones is super clever and straightforward to understand. The colors are nice and the personalities are super fun. 5/5 would let them have my bones after I die
