That's the odd thing about him. With his good-humoured wry commentary on the world and his endless quest to be kind toward me, I can sometimes forget who he is. Not just a Prince of the Realm - but the victim of that terrible incident that befell his entire family, leaving him the sole witness and survivor.

Olezka catches me studying him but he doesn't remark on it. I suppose he's seen worse sights than the pity in my eyes.

Happy Sonic Prime Season 2 Day!!

I didnt even know it was coming back this soon. that was a coincidence) #so when the trailer dropped for season 1 I was like 'oh this looks cool! I should watch it when it comes out' and then forgot about it #but recently someone I follow was reblogging and posting stuff about this show and it reminded me of this show but still didnt watch it #but then last friday I took a nap so I'd have energy to stay up the whole night doing something. I hadn't figured out what tho #and during my nap I had a dream that sonic and shadow were working together to take down a common enemy #and at one point in the fight Shadow got hit and slammed into a stone wall and there was a cracked indent where he slammed into it #so when I woke up I took that as a sign to start watching this show #and about 6 hours later I was head deep into this show and the tags reblogging everything in sight #(if you're a follower of mine and your dash was covered in sonic posts that night that was why) #and then it turned out the show was coming back today so that worked out great for me

A lil more bad news: I stayed up till 5 am drawing the comic strip lineart and dont have time to color it or post it so yall have to wait till i at least have time to post the lineart cuz idk if I'll wait to color it to post it lol

#and even more good news for ppl who like certain things: said comic includes size-dif & oviposition k1nks alongside the monsterfcker thing #they a kinky pair for sure. my fairy drider has a thing for wanting to 'start his own colony'& the other is 100% on board to help w/ that #by being the fairy drider's sole egg incubator and also fellow fairy mate for life. #the fairy thing is important bc theyre roughly 'fairy sized' sorta-& the drider is a spider-fairy aka a fairy w/ spider traits & no wings #the other is just. a regular fairy that lost their wings. #anyway. they fuck. alot. the drider fairies eggs are simply closer to magic spider eggs and not actual fairy babies. still a colony can be- #-made with these all the same. if they wanted to have a fairy baby between them- theyd have to only use one egg- #-and keep it incubating for a much longer period of time. once it passes the original threshold- it will transform. #the catch is that to keep it incubating for that long until it transforms enough to actually stay put- it involves a lot of uh. denial. #ill leave it at that for now :) #minors dni #ask to tag #drider mention #prince rambles #prince speaks

The camera whirrs, the mechanisms slowing to a halt as the operator fits another slide in. He mutters something to an assistant, gesturing to the backdrop. Clearly, things can be improved on. Yuri steps in, brushing down the shoulders of my uniform and fussing with the medals. 'Tired?' The uniform is weighs against me, my muscles aching from standing so long. The lights overhead burn against my eyes. I want nothing more than to crawl into my bed. But while Yuri may be sympathetic, Ivan won't stand for any complaint. I shake my head. The operator motions that he's ready for another take. 'Good luck,' Yuri smiles, moving to step back. 'Should I not... Say something? If it's going to be a recording?' 'No, no, you're doing magnificently. There's no need for words.' Ivan's eyes find me, hooking into my skin like claws. 'What would you say anyway? Nobody wants to hear you. It's your face people want to see. I'll do the talking.'

She has but it was fleeting and not enough to act on. The truth is that she hasn't really met anyone who have wanted her. For the night? Sure. Shake a stick with interns and attendings and you'll break it for all the hits but Beth isn't interested in that. She wants…needs…something more. #not gonna summarize cause i cant be bothered but it was like a ~modern~ take on cinderella except it wasnt really #it was like. shes an immigrant whos lost her parents she lives at an orphanage and tehres no stepmom its just the woman in charge or w/e #and the stepsisters were just two twins who were mean. it didnt make a lot of sense and it was bad at explaining the story #and the costuming was super weird. they had some of the prettiest costumes ive seen but then cinderella and the princes clothes were so #completely utterly boring. like just a regular plain dress and the prince had a glittery coat and that was it. it was lame #the choreography was nice and so was the light thingies and the orchestra was great of course #but the show itself wasnt very good. next up i think were gonna watch don quijote! thats probably like next year though

i have a lot of dreams where i 1) impulsively adopt an animal i shouldn’t be adopting and/or 2) have already adopted an animal i have forgotten about but suddenly remember and/or 3) an animal i have not had for a long time is dusty and sick lying behind or underneath some large object in my house and i take it out from under there, it’s on the edge of death and i have to save it while coping with the fact that i’ve been such an irresponsible animal owner
