‘Wait on the LORD’ is a constant refrain in the Psalms, and it is a necessary word, for God often keeps us waiting. He is not in such a hurry as we are, and it is not His way to give more light on the future than we need for action in the present, or to guide us more than one step at a time. When in doubt, do nothing, but continue to wait on God. When action is needed, light will come.” —J.I. Packer

They said I wouldn't be able to do it.
They said I needed the right connections and a certain amount of backing, but little did they know that I do not walk by sight alone but by faith as well. And faith leads to confidence.
Today,I am equally saying that GOD WOULDN'T PUT ME IN THIS SEASON OF MY LIFE IF MY SPIRITS WAS NOT VICTORY CONNECTED AND THE BEST TESTIMONIES TAKES TIME TO PERFECT. So wait for me while I wait on God🌹.

I Can’t Wait…
The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the person who seeks Him. Lamentations‬ ‭3‬:‭25‬ ‭(HCSB‬‬) Have you ever thought about how much of our life is spent waiting. We learned to wait in line in kindergarten. We learned to wait until Christmas to open packages. We’ve learned to wait in traffic tieups. Waiting is hard. Especially when what we are waiting for is important to us. Most of…

Shimmering Blue
I spend more time, I think, outside than in.
Only brief reprieves for a cloud maker.
Above, waves foamy and bright break against the blue beyond.
Or maybe what lies beyond is what broke us below.
Still like waves ebbing and flowing inside our still woefully inadequate mortal coils.
But when our waves break there's chaos, death.
We haven't learned our lessons yet.
Too many lessons in pain.
Pain is free.. take as much as you want.
But what you could learn from it would probably live darkly in a thimble with room to spare.
And a tractor trailer filled to bursting with all the lessons we provide each other, then ignore... or ignite.
Passion rages and hatred consumes.
In a family.. . so many lessons to learn.
But nothing is ever free. Who and what we call our own crash against the tide.
And even in an Earthly garden pruned of its heavenly delights, even then, a wild love can push its way back toward the wild, shimmering, blue.

Yet the LORD longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the LORD is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!

Some Well-Ordered Wisdom (Psalm 37:1-17)
The best things in life are internal, not external.
Don’t be worried on account of the wicked;    don’t be jealous of those who do wrong. They will soon disappear like grass that dries up;    they will die like plants that wither. Trust in the Lord and do good;    live in the land and be safe.Seek your happiness in the Lord,    and he will give you your heart’s desire. Give yourself to the Lord;    trust in him, and he will help you;he will make…

James 5:7-11 (NASB1995). “Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. The farmer waits for the precious produce of the soil, being patient about it, until it gets the early and late rains. You too be patient; strengthen your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is near. Do not complain, brethren, against one another, so that you yourselves may not be judged; behold, the Judge is standing right at the door. As an example, brethren, of suffering and patience, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. We count those blessed who endured. You have heard of the endurance of Job and have seen the outcome of the Lord's dealings, that the Lord is full of compassion and is merciful.”
Galatians 5:22 (NASB1995) “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,”
Galatians 6:9 (NIV). “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
“In Due Time” By In Touch Ministries:
“When God asks us to wait, we can be certain that He intends for a blessing to follow.”
“No one likes waiting, but doing so is often the wisest course of action for everyday choices as well as for larger, more consequential ones. Developing a patient spirit is also essential when it comes to living the Christian life (Galatians 5:22).
Thankfully, we have countless examples both in Scripture and throughout church history that can help us cultivate a spirit of endurance in our own life. In today’s passage, the apostle James encourages believers with an agricultural metaphor many of them would have understood well—the early and late rains. In the Middle East, water is scarce, so farmers must plan their work accordingly. Some plant in October and November, after the early rains have softened the ground. Then they harvest in April and May, after the later rains have brought crops to peak quality. In between, the only thing farmers can do is wait, trusting the crops will flourish. Sometimes the same thing is true of our life.
Urging that we stay strong, James reminds us about the prophets and Job—they all endured hardships and experienced God’s deliverance in the end. Their example is worth following because, as Scripture promises, “In due time we will reap, if we do not become weary” (Galatians 6:9).”

Very good lesson, I sometimes wonder why God waits to answer on certain things especially on urgent prayer requests. I have been going through finanical hardships and physical issues with my health conditions and some days the pain is just too much to deal with and I ask God to please help me meet my finanical needs and remove some of the pain in my body so I can function better and do what I need to do and I wait and wait and some days it looks so bleak. I have been feeling so overwhelmed and frustrated lately but I know from past experiences that God has never let me go under, He has always got me through and thrown me a life preservor. Yes I do wish things would get easier, I feel I just need a break!! I know I must trust and have faith and God does want me know it was totally Him who heard me and brought me through without a doubt and to Him deserves the praise and glory. I just need to wait!!

tbh i think the funniest phenomena that's been happening in the last couple years is "youtuber, having gone too deep into the research hole, has been made an investigative journalist against their will"
