Something we don’t discuss often enough is the enigma that is Damian Kozak and his BDE. On paper there seems to be very little that would lead one to believe that some of the most attractive women in the industry would even glance his way and yet somehow he has, and let me quote one of his more notable exs, a long list of ex lovers, that I know a lot of people would die for.

From the earliest we can track down that we can say is for sure was Bonnie Astor (nee Walker), before she was somebody anybody cared about. Judging by their socials, it was an on and off thing for a few years, right up until Damian fell into a trap of his own in the form of Olivia Bennett. (Although it looks like they had a brief comeback given the public brawl between Damian and Fletcher Astor)

It’s still unclear how the two ended up on each others radars. The pair were first linked in the comment section of Damian's Instagram where they bonded over the existence of aliens of all things? Damian and her sister, Stella Bennett are friends so it’s possible that’s the connecting factor but somehow Olivia sunk her teeth into Damian and what happened next was the weirdest series of events that has ever been triggered by such a basic looking man.

Public sex, a weird feud that resulted in Bonnie somehow getting to open for Olivia on both legs of her last world tour and a reality television show being where it all ends makes sense. It was a trainwreck right until the very end. It was the “I Love You” heard around the world followed by the most public rejection possible and one of the few times we’ve ever looked at Olivia and thought ‘Girl Boss’ until it became clear she left him for Phoenix Undergrove and potentially caused his death (Wtf girl?).

Damian disappears after for a while after which makes sense because, duh embarrassing, and then finds himself linked to two other women. First, he’s spotted in a park with Elyssa Rappaport. Which, wow talk about out of his league. However more recently it appears that Damian and Kimber Tate have gotten engaged. Admittedly, Kimber makes the most sense out of these women, but the way this man has to be packing because why else would anyone want to tolerate his long winded monologues about the meaning of life and death?

There is one other woman Damian keeps around, for longer than we can prove, Peach Rivera. And honestly, we have no idea how the pair met or why they appear close but a deep dive into their socials makes us think its been a while and the only reason we can think she’d stick around him as long as she has is the same reason all these other women keep coming back. He’s packing.

So who’s next or is the marriage going to stick? We simply cannot wait to see how this all plays out but you can catch Damian on tour supporting Cole Addams with his ex Bonnie Astor and the amount of tour tickets that were sold simply because people want to be there when this all implodes (We have tickets to at least 6 shows already just in case) Stay tuned. It’s sure to be a disaster.

About two weeks later

The car ride to the mall wasn’t exactly comfortable or easy going. With August next to you in the driver's seat you shuffled around and tried to set your racing mind at ease. You tried to concentrate on the fact that he had listened to you eventually, that he’d heard you out and finally let you explain the whole situation to him.

At first he didn’t seem all that convinced, but you knew your husband long enough to know that some things just had to sit with him, to age and in the best case to age like fine wine, sparking understanding and the will to work things through.

To some degree it certainly worked, but you certainly hadn’t expected August to ask you to drive back to the mall with him and take a look at the culprit who caused the whole disaster. Anyway you agreed. If that was the necessary step to put your husband's mind at ease you were all too willing to take it.

“What can I do for you, my dear?” The barista asked you first, throwing you an inappropriately excited glance.

“A large coffee, without anything.” You answered, tugging at the sleeve of August’s shirt a little unsure.

Without hesitation he wrapped his arm around your waist gently, eyeing the man in front of you.

“And what about you?” The man asked after scribbling down your order in his notebook,

August cleared his throat, his eyes grazing over the menu boards hanging at the walls. As always, he took his time, carefully crafting his act, his way to respond.

In a slow motion he tipped his chin, grazed over his mustache and looked back at the still smiling barista.

“That’s a really endearing menu..”, August murmured “But it seems that you don’t fit my taste.”

The barista behind the counter arched his brows.

“Oh, how come..? We have plenty of roasts at the ready and..-”

August cut him off with a click of his tongue and leaned in towards the counter.

“You know what I like most?” Your husband huffed towards the staff.

The young man in front of you shrugged his head, seemingly getting a bit nervous at the brute in front of him.

“Then let me tell you…”, August said “ I like guys not hitting on my wife. Sticking unsolicited notes to her, you know?”

The man gulped at the realisation, his cheeks flushing in an obviously uncomfortable shade of red.

“Uhm, of...of course not…” The staff member muttered.

“Great! Seems like we have an understanding, huh?” August chuckled while stroking his stubbles “I’d like a large iced coffee!”

Consequences Challenge...

I have a prompt or challenge for those that write fanfiction for Henry Cavill’s characters on this site. If any of you are up to it and have the time of course.

Mood : Angsty as Fuck.

It should include Size kink (small reader), Age difference (younger reader), Dom/Daddy kink with a catch. Reader is agile, strong willed and capable but ultimately not quite as strong as the main male character (because who is?). This will eventually cause tension. She wants to be seen as equal in every way. He has more years in the world than her though and often magical enhancements/ training that give him an advantage. An advantage she wishes she had. Her age will often be called out especially when it comes to the obvious chip on her shoulder.

Characters to choose from ( preferably all of them at some point in the future) will be Geralt of Rivia, Walter Marshall, August Walker, Captain Syverson, Clark Kent/Kal-El and Charles Brandon.

Prompt : There is a partnership/guardian relationship going on (obvious yet unspoken signs of attraction in the air) and an admiration between the two characters. They have been working together side by side for some time. How and why that came to be is up to you. Reader should be spunky, intelligent and sharp-tongued. There is constant banter all around. Something happens though. Something turns. It is after all...a dangerous world. Tension has been building. Reader finally does something that either puts herself/others in danger or challenges the authority of the main male character (see list above) at a time when he least wants it challenged.

A confrontation erupts that turns into a physical fight that ends in a painful spanking. Not a playful slap like the ones she is used to. This storm has been brewing for a long time. Reader will not yield or make it easy. It has to be hard for everyone involved. A battle really. Harsh words said. Fighting dirty guaranteed. Pride challenged. Maybe some angry tears and comfort after the act.

As realistic dialogue and circumstances as possible. Elven character background for those that choose Geralt.

Not sure if it would make for a good gifset but just thinking about how Mariana saying she used to me mortified to be seen with Anne is juxtaposed pretty well against Ann defending Anne to Catherine in 1x02, commending her for “not conforming to the way people think a woman should look or think or be” PROTECT ANN WALKER 2K19

Yes you are totally on my level, anon! I thought this same thing when we saw the scene with Mariana giving shit to Anne about how she dresses and how she looks, so I giffed it here.

Iredreamer has a great post about the things in 1 x 07 that differ from real life and I definitely recommend reading it for some background.

But I do think that if these stories had to be condensed/dramatized then these two scenes juxtaposed against each other manage to convey why Anne was never going to be happy with Mariana but would be with Ann - and why she deserved someone like Ann rather than Mariana.

The thing with Mariana went on for twenty years, obviously there is history and it is heavy and there is some water under the fucking bridge. But from what we’ve seen of Mariana, all she does is continue to string Anne along by agreeing to do all the things Anne wants (set up home together, sacraments, live as partners) only after her flipping husband dies. Only as a consolation. Only after she’s had what’s normal and expected and acceptable by society’s standards.

And then there’s Anne’s “funny little friend,” little miss Ann Walker. Remember when Ann Walker went off on her best friend for perpetuating gossip and judging Anne without having even met her first? Remember when Ann Walker got a fucking letter from some rando that said don't trust her? Remember when Ann Walker told Anne about it and was like IDGAF!? Remember when Ann Walker was like, “let them send letters, doesn't change the fact that I want you?!?” Remember when Ann Walker was like, “you don’t frighten me, now come kiss me, top me, thrash me and btw can you stay all night please?”

Okay, so obviously Ann has vacillated over whether she can go all in with Anne, whether she can do it fully, commit with her whole heart and mind, but Ann has never balked at the prospect of moving in with Anne or of marrying Anne in the first instance, rather than as an afterthought. Marrying Anne and setting up home together is not abhorrent to her (even if she calls “what they do together” repugnant once or twice in moments of panic attacks). At the end of the day, Ann has never wavered about wanting and loving Anne exactly for who she is, not despite it, not “I love you anyway.” Ann has loved her since she was 14, since she saw Anne, in all her unusual, singular glory. And Ann still sees her; I think Anne’s figuring out that maybe she’s the only one who ever really has.

So the moral of the story here is Mariana can bite a giant thermometer, Anne and Ann are endgame, wedding bells are ringing, and the ann(e)dom only has to make it 4 more days till our otp reunites in a story for the fucking ages.
