I didn't want any flowers, I only wanted to lie with my hands turned up and be utterly empty. How free it is, you have no idea how free — the peacefulness is so big it dazes you, and it asks nothing,

why does those quotes make me want a verse where ely loses is last life and think he'll finally find peace, but come back instead. the nature/forest he loves so much, refusing to let him die, offering a piece of itself. but also punishing him when it feels his anger. letting him taste the soil of his grave, making him feel the bodies rotting in its embrace ...
