idk maybe it's just because i was so underwhelmed with the new flash series and have been missing avery and ace but i'm very charmed by speed force. the art is dynamic and cute and it doesn't fall into the same trap i think a lot of recent comics trying to write "teen slang" do (probably because jarrett williams is the writer lmao).

Damian realized he's gay and and transmasc so he divorces Emiko and gets together with Lace. But there's the slight detail of him still being pregnant with Emi's child (cause she's also trans) which leads to this argument exchange between Lace and her.

Emiko: You know what the funny thing is? When you go home, you get to be with the baby, huh? Where does that leave me??

Lace: You're the baby's mother! Everyone knows who you are!! What am I? There's Father's Day, there's Mother's Day, there's not a...Gay Lover Day.

i went autism mode and helped out on wikipedia on the "list of teen titans" members page, there has been an edit for over a year purporting that "wallace west" joined the teen titans in 1999 without going into tricky continuity details, the version of the character they purport joined the team in 1999 didn't even exist in 1999
