Y/N x MCU. (Picnic Edition)
(A/N in the tags)
You wake up in your room. It's morning and the window was open. Gosh, no wonder it was so cold last night.
You sit up and your notice your alarm on your nightstand, it's 1:30. With the new information you stand up slowly then grabbing a sweater from your closet. You plan to have a shower after breakfast.
Breakfast… did mom make some already? Or did she already go to work? You think for a moment before shrugging. Eh, it doesn't matter I can just whip up something.
You brush your hair before heading out of the room to the kitchen. You stop midstep as you realized you forgot your socks, so you quickly head back to your room on the cold floor.
Once your done you head back, ignoring the figure sitting at the couch. Your heart spikes, thinking it's an intruder but you calm down when you see it's The Vision reading a newspaper.
"Uh, good morning…?" You start before remembering it's the afternoon. "Uh, I meant good afternoon."
He notices you and gets up," it's alright, I didn't mean to bother you like this but I came to keep you mom company"
You nod you head, " ah, I see, well do you know where she is?"
Now that you think about it… aren't they supposed to be a work?
As if The Vision read your thoughts he answered, " Since nothing much was happening today, we were able to have a day off and leave the minor events to the rest."
Then as if on que, your mom emerges from the hallway wearing comfy clothes. She smiled at you before placing a kiss on your head, "Good morning y/n, how did you sleep?"
"I slept fine, how was yours?"
"I slept like a baby" she grins and heads over to the kitchen to grab a coffee mug. You follow her to grab the cereal box.
" Me and Vision wasn't sure if you wanted your breakfast to be in the microwave or have it made later so we decided that you would want to make it yourself."
"Oh okay, thanks." You says as you pour in the milk. You then sit at the table with your mom sitting beside you. You can tell instantly that she's thinking of something but not exactly (it's moments like this that you wished you had telepathy like your mom)
"Mom? What's up?" You stop eating and your mom smiles, Vision goes back to reading the newspaper but at the table.
"Nothing much but I was thinking we should all hang out at the park today, you know have a picnic."
"That's sound fun but what are we going to do about, " You nod your head to Vision. Upon see this he perks up from the paper.
"Well I can solve that problem since I can change my appearance at will." He says. You give a quiet woah, that's cool. Because it was true, you never hung out with him much so you never heard of this before.
"Guess that answers your plans mom, when are we going?" You say. Your mom checks her phone. "Around 2:30, we would need time to finish packing the food," she stands up and pats your head before putting her cup in the sink.
Then you talk with them more before heading to the bathroom to take your shower. Once your done you see your mom chatting with the Vision as they place the food in the basket.
You stand by the wall to admire them. Ever since uncle pietro passed, your mom hasn't been in the best shape so you're glad that she's smiling more with Vision around. You think that if they were to get married, you would like having him as a dad.
You go over to them to hug your mom and she looks confused before hugging you back. You talk with them more as you help prepare the basket before you head out.
Once there, you set out the cliché picnic colored blanket then human Vision hands out your favorite drink to you. You give your thanks before everyone gets settled. Your mom pulls out monopoly so you two play while Vision watches the game with interest.
"Do you want to play Vision?" You ask as you take the paper money from your mom as she lands on your property. She gives you a look of defeat.
"If I played, I'm sure you would beat me at it. I'm not well versed in games" He says as he admires an avatar before placing it back in tbe box. You roll the dice and you land on a chest. You pick your card while your mom has an essential crisis on what to do to beat me.
"I don't like this game," she says.
"Well your the one who brought the game!" You reply. You earn a playful hit from her.
"Well I thought I would win this time but things aren't in my favor it seems"
You play a bit more before you take a break to eat. There wasn't that much talk but it was a peaceful atmosphere. You wished things were always like this but eventually something dangerous can appear and it can potentially take away your mom. You couldn't stop crying when your uncle died and your not too sure how you would handle it if she died too.
No one truly knows what's in the future so you just enjoy their presence while it lasts.

I think... everyone deserves a chance to prove themselves- Natahsa Romanoff x Fem!Teen!Reader, Wanda Maximoff x Fem!Teen!Reader (Platonic/Familial)
Summary: Natasha runs into someone from the Red Room, Natasha gets defensive, Y/n just wants to be good but doubts she can be.
A/n: Did I just decide to write one of my prompts on my own free will. Yeah I did. If you want to request any story, check my masterlist post that is linked above. As always italicized words mean flashbacks. Bold words are a different language (Russian in this case). Also we are just gonna pretend Wanda is in her 30s right before Civil War happens just for this story.
Warnings: Langauge, mentions of guns

I've got to run. That's all I need to do at the moment. If I stop running, they are going to get me again. I keep telling myself this. If I don't, I'm going to stop. All of the sudden I fall down. Damn it, I ran into someone. I look around frantically making sure no ones found me. After looking around I see a hand offering to help me up. I hesitantly take the hand, and stand up. "I-I'm sorry, I didn't realize there was someone in front of me. Please forgive me." I say quickly, and with a Russian accent. The woman in front of me looks shocked. "I knew I should've went the other way. Now I look crazy from running like crazy." I mumble. "What's your name and why are you running." The woman in front of me asks sternly. "I promise I mean no harm. I'm just trying to get away from my past." I say. "That doesn't answer my question, kid." She says, once again seeming stern. "I-I am Y/n Y/ln and I'm running away from the people who took me when I was younger..." I pause for a moment, before continuing what I was going to say. "The Red Room." She looks at my shocked. "I can help you but you need to trust me real quick." The mysterious woman tells me. "That's fine, just please help.
Not even 20 minutes later we arrive at a tall looking building. "Woah, this building is so tall!" I exclaim in Russian. "Isn't it? It's fancier on the inside." She repeats back to me in Russian. I look at her confused. She nods for me to follow her. When we get in, I see 3 other people in what I guess is the main room. "Nat, who did you bring with you?" The guy with his bow and arrow out asks. "Yeah, dear. Who did you bring?" The brunette with an accent asks her. The guy with really long blonde hair just looks at me. I try to hide behind "Nat" but she just starts talking. "Her name is Y/n Y/ln and she was running when she bumped into me. She said she was running from the Red Room."
They all look at me with sadness in their eyes. I look at them because I still don't know who they are. "I don't know who any of you guys are." I say quietly. The woman who brought me here speaks up first. She also takes the brunette's hand and brings her to be right next to her. "I'm Natasha Romanoff, and this is my girlfriend, Wanda Maximoff." Natasha tells me. "I'm Thor!" The man with the long blonde hair announced. "I'm Clint Barton. You'll probably meet the rest of us later." He says. "There's more of you?" I ask slightly nervous. "Yes but don't worry, you'll be fine." Wanda assures me.
That was 3 months ago. I seemed to have blended into this crazy family. Wanda and Natasha are like the mom's I've never had. And I'm glad about it. Everyone's been nothing but kind and understanding to me. Tony likes to teach me about engineering, Clint teaches me how to shoot a bow and arrow (as he put it so I learned something other than using a gun), Bruce teaches me science. Pietro helps me train. They all do something to help me out.
Today is Wanda and Natasha's anniversary and I wanted to get them something. I know that's not what you normally do, but I wanted to do this sooner than later. I look down at my lap where the bag is with adoption papers. I want to ask them if the want to adopt me. They come into the kitchen and see that I made them breakfast. "Oh sweetheart, you didn't have to do this for us." Natasha tells me. "Well I wanted to and I also wanted to give you both something." I hand the bag over to Wanda and Natasha gives me a look. Wanda opens the bag and looks at the papers. She starts to cry. "Oh Y/n. Are you sure?" She asks me through the tears. That makes Natasha silently ask me what I did. "You guys have basically been like my mother's since I arrived here. I wanted to make that a little more offical. I don't know of I proved myself of love but if you guys wanted to, there are the papers to adopt me." I say with a smile. Both of them are now in tears. Natasha comes over to me and gives me a kiss on my head. "I think... everyone deserves a chance to prove themselves. And you definitely have done that." She tells me. "Y/n, we would be happy to adopt you." She says with a smile. My life has finally started going up hill.

Can I sleep over? My parents are arguing again. - Father figure!Tony Stark x Teen!Fem!Reader
Song suggestion (aka the song I'm listenintb to while writing this):
A/n: Okay, okay. I know that I didn't put Tony on the list of people I'd wrote for but after this, I'm going to add him and a few other people. Anyways happy pride month to my fellow LGBTQ+ friends! Flashbacks are italicized. Also I realized Tony might seem ooc but I'm trying. I didn't realize how long this story got until I finished writing it. Anyway hope you all enjoy :)
"Mom! Please stop! I can't keep helping you and dad with your problems." I say on the verge of tears. Let's go over what's been going on in my life from the last couple of months. My mom and dad have always had issues and fought. I always get caught up in between the middle of them. About two months ago I got recruited for the Avengers because I have pyrokinesis. I have had this power since I was younger. I can remember the day Tony Stark came to recruit me very clearly.
I was walking home from school when I noticed that there was someone fighting to get out of someone's grip. I went over figure out if this person needed help. When I finally got them out of the hold of the other person and they left, I heard clapping behind me. When I turned around I noticed that Tony Stark was behind me. "That was impressive kid, it really was." He told me. "Uh thank you." I tell him really quickly. I am was not used to getting complements from anyone, so when I did, I get really shy and nervous. "Walk with me here." He says as we start walk towards the park. It was around 6:30 pm, so not a lot of people were out. "So what's your name? How old are you? And where are your parents?" Tony asked me. He didn't seem mad, just concerned and what seemed to be in awe. Like he was in awe of what I could do. "Well for starters my name is Y/n Y/ln, I'm 17 years old and my parent are at home. They are probably fighting again."
Right then and there on that day, Tony Stark felt the need to protect me. It's not like he's subtle about it. I mean he does the same with Wanda, Pietro and Peter. We are the youngest on the team, and Tony just has this instinct to act fatherly when he can. Wanda, Pietro and I are all 17, while Peter is 15. Wanda and Pietro like to joke that I'm their unofficial triplet because we were all born on the same day but just a different times. Unfortunately, I'm still stuck at home with my parents who fight on the daily. My mom starts to yell at me before she tells me to go up to my room.
When I get up to my room, I grab my phone and call Tony. After two rings he picks up the phone. "Y/n! I haven't heard from you in a few days and neither has the twins or Peter. We were all starting to get worried about you." He says. I start to sniffle a little bit, not realizing I had started to cry. "Hey, hey. What's wrong." Tony says in a gentler tone then what he was speaking a few seconds ago. "Can I sleep over? My parents are arguing again. This time my mom yelled at me." I tell him. I immediately hear him saying yes and how he's on his way to pick me up. I knew right then and there, that I was going to be okay.

Do You Need A Hug?
To the anon who gave the idea that the reader gets hurt on a mission and Wanda helps them out, you are a genius and this is for you so I hope you enjoy <3 (I just realised there isn’t much hurt comfort and a lot of Mother!Wanda oops)
Summary: Reader gets hurt, Wanda wants to help, hugs.
Wanda had bonded with you as soon as you came to the table
You had originally lived with your dad but once your abilities started to show at the age of 14 he didn’t know how to cope so he sent you to go live with the avengers
You had similar powers to Wanda so of course they set you up to train with her first to make sure you wouldn’t lose control
You looked so nervous. That was the first thing Wanda thought when she saw you, the next thing was that you had this sought of kindness that seemed to envelope you as you walked towards her. Kind eyes. “Hey Y/n I’m Wanda and I’m gonna help you learn how to control your abilities, okay?” she asked as you stepped onto the large grey mat that took up the centre of the room, “Nice to meet you, I don’t really understand why I’m here but you seem cool enough” you giggled at her enthusiasm. You didn’t remember much about your mum, of course you knew the basics like what she looked like and what she sounded like but she had walked out on your dad and you when you were only small. Wanda gave motherly vibes off (not that you had much experience with those vibes) and she was kind.
Training was the only interaction you really had with Wanda for the first few weeks of living there
But after a while constructive criticism and praise turned into small talk and suspiciously long water breaks filled with gossip instead of hydration
And in about a month you had been invited shopping with her
“Hey Wanda, what do you think of this?” you said opening the curtains to the dressing room so the woman could see the pale blue top you had decided to try on, “uhm do they have it in purple? I think purple would suit you better” she replied, searching the mountain of clothes she had in her arms and handing you a nice pair of jeans “here go try those on whilst I go check if they have that top in purple” she shooed you into the dressing room before walking off. That was the thing about Wanda, she had seen you at your worst, sweaty and panting for breath as you were pinned by Nat for the 10th time yet she always tried to help you look your best.
You waited at the table as the woman went up and ordered your drinks at the counter of this dainty cafe you had found when trying to take cover from the rain that had started to come down only minutes after you had left the shop. You ran into the doors laughing your head off as she helped you push it open and then sat you down at a table and went off to order. “I got you a slice of cake whilst I was up there because I thought you might be hungry” she smiled handing you your cup and slice of heaven “now I feel bad you have paid for everything today!” you whined still going in for a bite as she added sugar to her tea “don’t! You are 14 and don’t have a stable income, the adults are meant to treat you”.
After that trip you decided to make it a monthly occurrence
And were rarely seen without each other
She would do anything for you and you would do anything for her
That’s why when you turned 16 she wanted to be the one to get you the best and most personal present
You looked up at Wanda then back at the box then back at Wanda. You couldn’t believe something as simple as a locket had made you cry. As you opened it the dam broke and tears started to pour from your eyes as you saw the picture you and her had taken in a photo booth on your second ever shopping trip. She started to tickle you as the countdown started. The photo that had come out was one of pure joy, something you had never been able to get a photo of , hence the tears. “I know it’s not driving lessons but I hope those are tears of joy” she laughed lightly as Tony threw his hands up at the car jab (even though if you ask him he will still say he had the best present) “of course they are! I love it so much thank you” you replied launching yourself into her arms.“Great now my bop it toy seems like a stupid gift” moaned Sam falling back onto the couch in defeat“It was stupid before the damn locket came out birdbrain” scoffed Bucky
So naturally after that the bond you had was even stronger
Which meant going on missions meant a debriefing from Wanda on the most random things, such as: How to properly stop drop and roll, What not to say to Steve when he’s in captain mode, Why annoying Sam won’t do well in a Hydra base, and so on
But when you failed to listen to her advice and come home hurt she is sure to patch you up
You could tell by the way Steve had prepared you for the incoming mama bear Wanda attack that she was worried about you. You hadn’t really had time to fully process that as the woman came flying at you shooting questions at you left, right and centre. “What happened?” she finally took enough of a break to inspect the growing black eye and small cut on your right arm. “I wasn’t paying attention when Bucky called over the comms that the building was coming down and I got a bit caught” you mumbled knowing she would find the situation both comic and concerning. “This is why I said to you always pay attention” she scolded, the motherly tone she had taken to using with you coming through.
After the initial shock of “my baby is hurt” she took you to her bathroom and grabbed the first aid kit ready to sterilise the wound. “What’s wrong sweetie?” she asked after hearing you sniffle, pausing her actions to look at you, concern clear in her eyes as she “I feel like I let you down” you replied taking the tissue from her hands to blow your nose “No no sweet child you just scared me” she said tucking a strand of hair around your face. “are you sure?” you asked, feeding the tissue to the bin “of course, now do you need a hug?” Wanda giggled, wrapping her arms around your body gently as you nodded in confirmation. “Nothings better than a mothers hug” you muttered into her jumper (one you had tried to knit her for Christmas last year).
She couldn’t stop smiling
Made sure to make your favourite drink and have a movie marathon with you
This isn’t to say she got any less protective of you
(Sam is still upset about the bop it so when you see him you just whisper “Bop it! Twist it!” as you walk past him)

Baking With Wanda
Besties We have 1 more written post after this and then we are have finished written work for the night, I might put a smau out tonight as well but we’ll see if I can keep my eyes open long enough. Enjoy <3
Summary: Baking with Wanda (It does what it says on the tin)
We all know Wanda likes to bake (if you didn’t well now you do)
You always liked watching her do it because she seemed so concentrated on getting it right that she shut everything else out
You knew it was a way to relax whilst also keeping everyone else happy (not that you shouldn't be able to relax without having to worry about other people but that’s just how she is)
She had noticed you watching and would always ask if you wanted to join her, most of the time though you declined
“You can join me anytime you’d like, you know that right?” her sokovian accent was as smooth as the butter she was whisking, smiling up at you from the glass bowl, of course you knew you could join her but it was just so satisfying to see her so in her element. “I know but why would I when I can just watch you do all the work and eat the things you make for free?” you giggled, resting your chin on the old leather of the couch and sending a cheeky glint her way, “well maybe I should start charging you” she joked back cracking the eggs in a separate bowl in order to catch any stay bits of shell. “Huhhhhh you wouldn’t dare!” you gasped dramatically.
You knew she wouldn’t
You also knew that one day she would end up dragging you into her flour filled fun
But like you said you would much rather eat what she made than even try to help
You were just afraid of messing up
As you wrestled with the blanket you were wearing trying to get the perfect amount of it on your body Wanda decided to ask you the question you had known would be asked at some point. “Why do you always watch me bake but never help? You know I could do with a mini chef to train” she spoke a hint of hesitance clear in her voice as she tucked the blanket around your sides in an attempt to help you, the action felt motherly and almost second nature. “Honestly? You remind me of my mum before we fell out, she used to bake and she never let me help in case I messed it up and I’m scared that if I mess up with you that you won’t want me to bake with you again” you smiled though it didn’t quite meet your eyes and the pink tint on your face a clear indicator of the embarrassment you were feeling from your little confession, “I will always want you to bake with me no matter how bad you are at it and I’ll be there to help so it’s can’t go that wrong”.
So with her words of comfort you started to help out around the kitchen more
It started as little thing at first; handing her the sugar she needed, preheating the oven for her and cracking the eggs she needed to be cracked
She recognised that you needed to go at your own pace but made sure to thank you for everything you did
And slowly the little things turned into big things
Like helping to bake cupcakes
“Okay what the hell does a dash of vanilla essence mean?” you laughed nervously waiting for the woman to come and help you figure out how much of the stuff you should put in “eyeball it sweetie, a dash just means until you feel it’s enough, just don’t put too much in” she looked up from the scales to see you putting just the right amount of it in “well done! See next time just trust yourself” she said getting back to measuring the cocoa powder.
When you had been mixing the wet with the dry ingredients you somehow managed to spill some on Wanda who in turn sprinkled sugar on your head to which you replied with a splash of egg to her face. Soon there was enough of all the ingredients on the both of you to make another batch. Giggling as you finally managed to pour the batter into the pan, turning around to see her standing there with a bucket of water and an old mop that had turned so grey from being used that it was starting to look like the hairs you often saw on Tony or expected to see on Fury but wouldn’t for obvious reasons. “Nooooo” you whined as she threw the mop towards you and started wiping the surface you had been working on “oh yes sweetie, it’s not going to clean itself is it?” she joked.
Baking became something the two of you did together
And in it you had found a mother and she had found a daughter
Steve and Sam even joke that they would have to start doing extra training sessions if you kept feeding them all these sweet treats
(you made sure they didn’t)

Natasha Romanoff X Adoptive-Daughter!Reader, eventual Peter Parker X Romanoff!Reader
Summary: She's your mother, you love her there won't be another place like her again that you call home.
Warnings: aliens, mentions drugs, child abandonment, mentions a group home, fluff.
Song: Mother by Sugarland
A/n: HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
She'll take you in, feed your friends
Her open arms are welcoming
"Mom?" You hollered walking into yours and your mother's shared floor in avengers tower, your friends following behind you.
"Hi sweetheart." Natasha smiled at you.
"Mj, Ned, this is my mom nat." You introduced.
"Your mom is black widow!" Ned said starting in awe.
"Sup." Mj gave your mom a smile.
"Nice to meet you two. Good to see ya pete." Nat nodded at the boy right next to you.
"You too Miss. Romanoff."
She'll rub your back all night when you're crying
She'll listen to you tell your story
"It was crazy! Pete was too busy ogling Lizz and she almost fell!" You rambled on. Nat listened concerned, she saw what happened in Washington on the news and knew you were in the elevator when it happened. Tony was watching assuring her that Peter would rescue you and your classmates. "Luckily Peter caught her but it was so scary!"
"I'm glad your okay." She pulled you into a hug once you were done with your story.
"Yeah just a bruise cause Flash pushed me out of the way to get out." You rolled your eyes but relaxed in your mom's arms.
Hold your fear and all your worries
Help you find the truth when they're all lying
Even when it's hopeless, she keeps trying
You sat in front of the group home playing with a ratty teddy bear by yourself. 11 years old and this has been what you've know for the last two years. Your dad is in jail while your mother was somewhere caring more about drugs than her daughter. You looked up from your bear when you heard screams. Seeing an alien coming your way. You scream running down the street stumbling a bit before you hid behind a car hugging your teddy bear.
"Romanoff help them." Steve said, the battle with loki was done he was in custody but now Steve, and Natasha were helping make sure citizens were accounted for.
"Okay cap." She headed toward two women who were checking on a group of kids. "Everyone okay here?"
"I think so. We're just making sure all the kids are here." One of the women explained.
"Y/n is missing!" The other woman exclaimed.
"I'll find her." Nat promised before going off to look for the young girl.
Back with you. You hesitantly stood up from your hiding spot to see your home city destroyed. Because of that you had no clue where you were or how far you ran. Hugging your teddy tighter you began walking in what direction you hoped to be to the group home.
"Hey kid!" You looked around seeing a woman with red hair making her way toward you. "Is your name y/n?"
"Yes Ma'am who are you?" You whimpered.
"I'm Nat, I'm gonna help you home."
"Thank you!" You smiled taking her hand as she led you back to the home.
Neither of you knew that, that would be the day your lives changed for the best.
She's your mother, you love her
There won't be another
place like her again that you call home
She stands here to help you
"Y/n come here I have to ask you something important." Nat said ushering you over to her.
"What's up?" You asked your foster mom smiling. It's been two years since you met.
"I got some news... Your freed to be adopted." She smiled. "I wanted to know... Would you like me to adopt you?"
"Yes!!!" You screamed tackling her with a hug.
She stands here to help you
there's nothing she won't do
As long as she's alive
you're not alone
you've got each other
That's your mother
"Hey mom." You smiled sitting down on the couch next to her.
"Hi." She smiled back at you. "I have mission today. But bucky and Sam aren't coming on the mission so they'll be checking in on you." She explained.
"Okay! I love hanging out with them. Bucky let's me put magnets on his arm!" You said happily. She shook her head laughing.
She fixes all the broken things
When you're in love, she's got a ring
To give to you, she hopes you'll give away
She don't care who you give it to
Where they're from, if they pray like you
As long as they are good to you, that's enough
First thing she taught you was love is love
"Mom?" You hollered in. After no response you looked back at your boyfriend. "Coast is clear come on." You smiled pulling him in and going toward the hallway that leads to your bedroom.
"Who's he?" Nat smirked from her spot on the couch with Steve and Sam.
"This is Evan... My uh boyfriend." You said nervously shuffling on your feet. "Evan, that is my mom Nat, and her friends Steve and Sam."
"Hello nice to meet you." He smiled.
"Hi." Nat smiled.
"Oooh tiny romanoff has a bOoyfriend." Sam teased laughing when your face flushed.
"Hey kid." Steve gave a small wave.
"Okay we're going to my room. Let's go." You dragged him out behind you.
"Leave the door open!" Was called out by the adults you call your family.
She's your mother, you love her
There won't be another
place like her again that you call home
She stands here to help you
there's nothing she won't do
"How was school?" Nat asked you as you climbed into the car. She just adopted you three months ago.
"It was great nat!" You smiled.
"Yeah mom! I got an A on the test!" You said not noticing you had called her mom, for the first time. She noticed, and she was so happy.
"Yeah and I got invited to a party this Friday... Could I go? Please?"
"Whose house? Will parents be there?" She threw out questions.
"Caleb's. And yes."
As long as she's alive
you're not alone
you've got each other
That's your mother
"Mom!" You said excitedly as you saw she was home from a long mission.
"Hey sweetie." She smiled hugging you.
"Hi! How was the mission?" You asked.
"It was good? Were you behaved?"
"Yes I was!" You said proudly.
When you fail her, when you're afraid
And crying in the careless mess you've made
She'll make you clean it up yourself
and offer you a little help
And dry your weary eyes when you let her
But she'll look at you and know you can do better
You sighed trying again. Punching the bag harder this time. Today was rough. A breakup never was easy. So you were in the gym of the avengers tower, when you moved into the tower she taught you to take your anger out on a punching bag instead of another person. So you've done it ever since you were 11. You only came in the gym for this reason.
"Sweetheart?" You heard but ignored it. "Y/n." She said louder. She sighed watching you punch the bag harder. Friday had alerted her that you were down here.
"Nothing." You grumbled letting your hands fall to your sides. She immediately wrapped her arms around you putting her hand on the back of your head.
"Please tell me what happened? We'll visit your cousins if you do." She tried to bargain knowing how much you loved hanging out with Clint's kids.
"Evan broke up me." You choked up hiding your face in her shoulder.
"Oh baby." She whispered.
She's your mother, you love her
There won't be another
Place like her again that you call home
She stands here to help you
"Y/n Romanoff." You began walking down the stage. The cheers of the avengers was all that could be heard. You looked up and saw your mom standing up clapping for you.
You met up with them outside after the graduation. You immediately hugged your mom. She's your rock. You were more than positive that if she hadn't adopted you your life would've been so different.
"I'm so proud of you." She smiled.
"Thank you Momma."
There's nothing she won't do
As long as she's alive
You're not alone
The secrets in your heart she's always known
"Mom! I have a new boyfriend." You told her feeling giddy.
"Really? Tell me all about him!" She said from her spot on the sofa.
"I want to know too!" Wanda agreed.
"Well... He's super sweet! And polite. And his so cute!" You gushed. "He has a messy mop of brown hair! And he makes me feel safe."
"Aw." Wanda gushed at how you looked like a love-sick puppy.
"I have to meet him!" Nat told you.
"Well you kinda have... It's Peter."
"I knew you had a crush on him!!" Nat exclaimed.
"A crush on who?" Peter asked walking out of the elevator.
She's a beacon, a harbour
A lighthouse, her armour
A promise and a blanket when it's cold
You'll understand it more when you get older
You've got each other
That's your mother
You've got each other
That's your mother
A/n: my first Nat fic what do you think?

I Don’t Dance (A Request)
Word Count: 1658
Pairing: None, Platonic Avengers X Teen!Female!Reader
Warnings: slight swearing
A/n: Sorry for the long wait guys! I’m going to try to get back into writing steadily again but I don’t want to get your hopes up too high! so be patient with me please! Requests will still be closed until I am caught up with the requests I currently have sitting in my google docs.
Ps: Do you like my play on the title? :) If you know where it’s from then I hope you got the song stuck in your head now!
Request: Could I request an imagine with the avengers where teen!reader plays softball (shortstop maybe??) and they all watch?? Maybe it can be a close game. It’ll be up to you if reader’s team wins or not. But if you don’t want to write this thats ok too. I really enjoy reading your stories!! :)
You breathed out deeply, focusing on the white noise surrounding you and the feel and weight of the metal bat in your hands.
Your eyes met the piercing gaze of the pitcher and you smirked, egging her on.
Time seemed to slow as the pitcher wound up and then released, right away you could tell it was a curveball. But unluckily for her, you were one of the best batters’ in the league and with a well-timed swing, hit the ball straight out to the far outfields.
“Yes! Go [Y/n]! That’s our girl!” The loud voice of one Tony Stark rang out over the field as you raced around the bases, getting the final home run and winning the game for your team with a score of 7-5.
Dropping your helmet in your bag once back inside the dugout, you wiped the sweat from your forehead as you accepted the congratulations from your teammates and captain.
“Amazing as always [Y/n].” Your coach caught you before you could leave, patting you on the head, before she smirked and looked behind you for a moment, “Though maybe next time your friends can show up incognito and not distract your teammates, the score shouldn’t have been that close together.”
You laughed, looking over your shoulder at the Avengers who were all in their suits, covered in dirt and other questionable stains and bruises.
With a final good job, the coach sent you on your way and you jogged over to the Avengers, “Did you guys finish the mission? I thought you wouldn’t be able to make this game?”
Steve ruffled your hair, his smile lighting up the sky it seemed, “We wouldn’t miss a single of your games [Y/n]. Don’t worry about the mission.”
Wanda sighed, but she was smiling as she moved to your side, “What Steve means is that we finished the mission just in time. But until you're officially an Avenger, you should just stay focused on school.”
You laughed along with the Avengers. Ever since you had been a child, they had been your friends, like older brothers and sisters, as they helped raise you. You had been found alone as a baby wandering the streets without any memory of parents or a home when Clint Barton and Natasha Romanoff had stumbled across you. A normal child by all standards, but they must have seen something in you because they never turned you into
Taken in by the Avengers, you never imagined you would have a normal life. And that was true to some extent. From the time you were a toddler to a pre-teen, you had been homeschooled and taught advanced science and mechanical engineering from Bruce Banner, Vision and Tony Stark. You had been given martial arts lessons and defence from Steve Rogers, Bucky Barnes, Natasha Romanoff, Clint Barton and Wanda Maximoff.
Then you met Peter Parker, the spider-man and Tony Stark’s apprentice. He was close to your age and you grew close to him, the first contact you had with someone young. Together you convinced the team to let you go to a normal highschool. So you entered Midtown high alongside Peter and soon discovered your joy and affinity for Fastpitch.
A beast at shortstop and a hell of a batter, you rose through the team until you were the youngest and apparently fastest player to hit Varsity.
“Hey [Y/n]! Oh!” Peter skidded to a halt beside you, a red flush on his cheeks as he rubbed the back of his neck, “Hi Mr. Stark!”
You punched the boy’s shoulder causing him to yelp, “What is it Peter?”
Peter jumped and then smiled, “Oh! I was going to ask if you wanted to play a quick round since the field is now clear.”
The Avengers immediately perked up and looked at you excitedly causing you to giggle and point at their suits, “Aren’t you guys tired from the mission? We can play on another day.”
Tony swung an arm around your shoulder and gestured wildly, “Today’s a perfect day though [Y/n]! And we’re the avengers! If we couldn’t handle an easy game of fastpitch what type of protectors would we be?”
You smirked, “Easy you say? Alright, let’s pick teams. Peter and I are captains.”
Everyone shifted uneasily, seeming to sense the shift of tension and your smirk grew wider. They may be the Avengers, but fastpitch was where you shone the brightest.
“I’ll take Bucky.” You started off the nominations.
By the end, the teams were decided with you as the captain alongside your players, Bucky, Steve, and Natasha, while Peter had Tony, Bruce and Wanda, and Vision deciding to be the referee with Clint as the catcher for both teams.
“We’ll take the field first.” You made the executive decision, deciding not to leave it to a coin toss. “One inning outfield and one batting for each team, the one with the most homeruns wins.”
Tony preened, “You already know who’s going to win.”
You tilted your head and asked, “Do we?” Before turning away and walking back into the dugout you had just occupied for the past several hours.
Your team took the field first, and you took your spot as shortstop. Steve took first base while Natasha stood in the far outfield and Bucky took up position as the pitcher.
Tony sauntered up to bat first, his Iron Man suit almost completely off except for the gloves and shoes.
He smirked as he swung the bat back and forth before taking up a stance, eyeing Bucky who took a deep breath and then wound up for the pitch, using his metal arm to pitch.
The ball moved so fast, you couldn’t track it with your eyes. The crack from the bat hitting the ball was as loud as thunder and you couldn’t hold back the flinch.
“Would you look at that!” Tony laughed, but he was interrupted by Peter shouting, “Run you old man!”
Tony looked back, affronted with a hand to his chest, “Who are you calling old?”
And then Vision called out, “Mr. Stark, you are out.”
Tony flipped around, “What?”
You laughed, pointing to where Steve stood on first base, a ball in his hand from where Natasha had caught it and thrown it to him. “Next time you should run around the bases before trying to brag.”
Peter’s team finally managed to get a homerun after Wanda manipulated the ball a bit, which caused a bit of a stir about whether abilities should be allowed or not.
Finally it was your team’s turn to be at bat and you started off strong with Bucky. Wanda pitching for Peter’s team as he stood on first, Tony was at shortstop and Bruce was out in the outfield looking distinctly uncomfortable holding the glove on his hand.
You went through your roster and finally it was your turn up at bat. The teams were tied and you were the last to bat, with two strikes against your team.
Taking up a stance, you breathed out deeply and focused on the weight of the bat in your hands, the sand under your feet, the sun on your face and the look Wanda gave you as she wound up the pitch.
You shouted out, “Don’t go easy on me guys just because I’m not an Avenger!”
The others exchanged looks and then nodded at you, making you pleased.
When Wanda released her pitch, your eyes tracked the ball. You didn’t have super strength, or flight, or were a trained assassin, but Fastpitch was your lifeblood and you knew from the bottom of your heart that you could hit this ball out of the park.
You mentally spoke to yourself, not yet, not yet….now! And swung with everything you had.
The ball made contact and though it didn’t create a thunderous crack, it did ring in your ears and hands as the bat vibrated from the force of the connection.
You dropped the bat and ran like the devil was licking at your heels. Your mind focused on the bases in front of you as you rounded them, but half an ear out listening as Tony yelled for Bruce to ‘Throw the damn ball already!’
You internally smirked, breathing evenly as you pumped your arms, getting to the last stretch towards home base.
A flash of red energy and Wanda stood over home base with her hand outstretched, ready to tag you.
But being the best batter wasn’t simply just about hitting the balls. With a short leap, you fell to the ground, the momentum carrying you forward still as you slid underneath the surprised witch.
“Safe!” Vision’s voice shouted out and broke the calm that had befallen the field at your slide.
“Yes!” You jumped up and fistpumped the air.
Your team came streaming from the dugout and Peter’s came in from the field.
Tony shook his head, sweat flinging from his hair, “Hate to say it kid, but you won.”
You smiled at the man, “Fastptich not that easy now, is it?”
Tony laughed, “Nope, definitely proved me wrong kiddo.”
You sighed, running your hand through your hair, “I don’t know about you guys, but I’m beyond tired now and ready for some greasy food.”
“Hell yeah!” Peter jumped up with a grin.
Clint gasped and slammed a hand over Peter’s mouth, causing everyone to look at him. Clint just looked around at everyone with a grave look, “Who taught the baby to cuss?”
Everyone stared a moment longer and then everyone broke down laughing. Even Clint broke his composure and laughed, releasing Peter.
As you all began walking back to the tower, you thought about your life. The abnormalities and the people in it. And realized you wouldn’t trade a thing about it. Your life may not be exactly normal, but with your friends and family, you knew your life would be amazing.

fem. reader x wanda, 1 and 8??
Hufflepuff // W.M
You and Peter were arguing when the avengers decided to finally see why you two were yelling for the past forty minutes. Tony and Steve obviously made a bet to see who's right which wanda joined.
The door was opened just as you shouted "I'm a Hufflepuff for fuck's sake! I would make an amazing girlfriend". A couple of them begin laughing as wanda says "I'm sure you would, y/n."
"Y/n Stark, you are nineteen, that is far to young to have a partner" tony says before continuing, "and yes I said partner, I know how it is with teens, I have tik tok unlike capsical."
They all just stare at you for a couple seconds until you snap, "take a picture, it might last longer". "Well, at least I won the bet" wanda says.
"At least I wasn't married to a toaster" you say and she answers "good thing I can marry you legally instead for a change."

Hi so since fanfiction is essentially my way of coping with things.... can you do an avengers x reader (Bucky, Steve, Sam, Tony, Loki, Thor, Natasha, Wanda, Pietro, etc.) and they react to the reader scratching their car or getting into a car accident (not fatal)-A (I don’t mean for it to be ‘dark’ just like them comforting the reader bc obvs you’re a bit shaken up afterwards)
I got you babe! I did this as teen reader, who's Peter's partner.
So the accident, not that bad. You were ok, no one else was involved and the car was ok. But your heart was racing, you were shaking, and you felt like crying.
Therefore in no condition to drive, so you called Tony to see if anyone was nearby or willing to come drive instead.
The other Avengers were in a meeting so when Tony said it was you and answered they all payed attention. If you were calling right after school something had to have happened whether it be good or bad.
However, when Tony said minor accident, everyone started getting ready to come get you.
"What do you mean Minor accident? Your ok right? Are you sure? Yeah of course someone can come drive you back."
Bucky and Natasha won and got to drive you. Sam and Steve got to go get your favorite food and drink in an effort to make sure you would eat.
Wanda and Pietro were in charge of setting up a movie you wanted to see and some of your favorites.
When Steve and Sam dropped off Bucky and Natasha, Bucky took the wheel while Natasha sat with you in the back.
He made sure to try and make the least amount of sudden movements with the car. You didn't need any more stress.
When you got back to the tower, you were immediately brought to the room filled with pillows and blankets in front of a large screen, a stack of movies, and food.
Thor and Loki weren't completely sure what was going on but they both knew you weren't doing the best and since they thought of you like a little sister, there was no way there were going to let it slide.
So, throughout the whole movie marathon. You would be sitting in between the two gods.
The rest of the group kept their eyes on you to make sure you were feeling better.
If you need anything, someone would get it for you.
They were going to pamper you for the rest of the day and tomorrow if you were still nervous, they would do what they could to help then.

req: i was wondering if i could request a natasha x teen daughter reader where the reader has really bad social anxiety please? maybe where the reader was in the red room with natasha but given to hydra once the red room was taken down and natasha has been looking for her ever since she left the red room. on a mission to take down a hydra base natasha finally finds reader, and it's super emotional for the both of them and they're just happy to have each other back. natasha knows about readers social anxiety from when she was younger and sees that it's only gotten worse now, so she's super sweet and understanding. she saves the reader from the base and comforts her the whole way home because she's scared of all of the new people also on the jet (the other avengers). the reader lives with natasha at the compound with everyone else and natasha is just great about her social anxiety and never pushes her out of her comfort zone and comforts her when she has panic attacks. sorry if that's a lot, but thank you so much! i love your fics sooo much, you're such an amazing writer!!! 💖💖💖
mother figure!nat x fem!teen!reader
summary: nat finally finds you after years of looking.
word count: 4083
notes: i didn't make them peers in the red room because then they'd have to be around the same ages but i made them meet at the red room. also i didn't know how to write about her having social anxiety so i hope you don't mind that i didn't 😓 hope you like this <33
"stop," madame b's authoritative voice commanded and all of you stopped dancing. all of your peers seemed to be struggling to stand still on their battered feet, some breathing heavily but who could blame them? you had all been instructed to dance for hours now. you had to dance until you couldn't anymore.
your head faced madame b but your eyes landed on your best friend, veronika, for a split second. she seemed in pain and you vowed to check on her after whatever announcement your supervisor had for you. you stood tall, clenching your jaw in order to not show that you were in pain or out of breath.
madame b's gaze flickered to you for a second, her lip lifting up on one side for a brief moment before her face hardened once again.
"i have someone special here today. she's here to observe your training and if necessary, teach what you girls lack. she has long graduated this academy, please welcome miss natasha romanova."
you jolted awake, panting hard at the memory that just played in your dreams. you looked around you, seeing the same cell wall you had been put in for the past three years. after the fall of the red room academy where you were from, another organisation came and swooped you in, not wanting to waste your skills. you were the only one they took, having heard much about your abilities and reputation in the red room.
the girls stood all around you and veronika, watching the two of you spar tirelessly after hours of endless ballet. natasha and madame b watched the match closely, eyes trained on your techniques and movements.
after natasha had introduced herself to all of you, madame b had instructed her supposedly two best students—you and veronika— to demonstrate a true spar between skilled assassins.
while you were reluctant to attack your best friend, she had other plans, one that included impressing her idol who stood mere metres away from her. you were shocked when she started attacking you. never had she obeyed a command against you so quick.
you had to put away your initial shock to start attacking back in order to not get hurt by the hands of your own best friend. the look in her eyes was different, almost animalistic. it wasn't like the one she had when you two were laid in your beds side to side at night, handcuffed to it while you talked about your deepest struggles being in the academy. it wasn't the same one she had when you reassured her that she was doing okay whenever she said she would never be as good as you were at this whole assassin thing. it wasn't the same innocently surprised one she had just moments ago when she was addressed as one of madame b's best students.
this wasn't your best friend. this was a girl blinded by her desire to impress. she wanted to show natasha that she was the better one out of you two. your heart broke when you saw her desperation. it was obvious in the way she fought you.
it wasn't long before you had her in a chokehold, the girl struggling to get your grip off of her. your face visibly faltered, eyes tearing up slightly when you heard her whimpers. natasha took notice of this.
your lips were quivering when you turned to madame b. a simple nod from your trainer had you whispering a strained 'i'm sorry, i love you' in her ear before you broke her neck. the girl fell limp in your arms, dropping down to the mat, dead. you panted heavily as you stepped away from her body.
"good. this is what i expect of all of you," madame b turns to your peers, the stone cold look back on her face. "one thing you need to perfect though, y/n, is your emotions. don't get emotional over things that don't matter. i saw your inner conflict. veronika would have no reluctancy to end you if you were the one in the chokehold. she was more mentally prepared to be a ruthless assassin. you're lucky you're more skilful than she is. she would have no hesitation to kill you, close companion or not."
you swallowed that lump in your throat, biting the insides of your cheeks to prevent crying right then and there. "you have a lot of potential, y/n. don't let your emotions ruin it. i have high hopes for you." she spoke once again, before dismissing everyone.
you left the room with a heavy heart, turning to look at veronika's body one last time before leaving quickly so you could break down where no one else could witness.
you rushed to the staircase where you and veronika would sneak away all the time when you were supposed to be having lunch. you two would always sit under those stairs, talk about anything and everything you could. your tears were now freely rolling down your face.
"hey," you heard a voice say and you quickly wiped your tears away. you looked up and saw that it was none other than natasha. "miss romanova," you breathed out, scrambling to get up before she placed a gentle hand on your shoulder, the woman seating herself next to you on the floor, under the staircase.
"that must've been hard for you," she spoke after a few seconds of silence. "i remember my first time killing an actual person in training. they had me shoot targets and i consistently got the bullseye every time. then they switched out the targets to an actual person and i had a hard time doing that. i can't imagine how it must've been for you. i heard you and veronika were quite the inseparable duo."
you didn't move to show that you were shattered over the current events but the millions of tears silently streaming down your face said otherwise. natasha turned to you, reaching to wipe your tears away before gently caressing your cheek.
"you're a strong one, y/n. you remind me of myself when i was still in training. i can see myself in you." she told you truthfully. she had no idea why but she felt a strong connection towards you. she felt that you and her had so much in common. she had a strange inclination to protect you even though she knew damn well you were capable of doing so yourself.
since then, she always dropped by to help train all of you but you and her developed a relationship so strong that she even told you of her plans to get you out of that hellhole. at that point, it had been a few months since she'd turned good but she kept coming to the academy for your sake. she felt a sense of responsibility over you, like a mother would over her daughter.
she would with the other girls too if they had shown at least a bit of humanity but it seemed that the red room had ruined them beyond fixing. despite being the best student of the academy, you still weren't inhumane like the rest. you would hesitate to hurt others, only doing so when threatened and even that, you still weren't as heartless or cruel.
madame b would always berate you over this but natasha would pick up the pieces every single time. you loved her. she was the best thing in your life after veronika and your heart broke when the red room fell and you were taken away. away from the mother you never had.
you awoke with a jolt again. it was the second night in a row you were reliving your past memories. you touched your face and you felt the tears on it, wiping them with your sleeve as you sat up in your cold, uncomfortable bed in your cell. you sighed, bringing your knees up to your chest and hugging them.
you couldn't help but think of nat again. what could've happened if she managed to get you out before you were taken away? could you have a nice life with her? would you never have to hide under the stairs to have emotional exchanges with the woman? would you finally have been able to be who you were, not influenced by the evil around you?
you never knew what it was like having a mother but you imagined it was what nat had been towards you during the times you spent together at the academy. you two were more mother and daughter rather than trainer and student.
all of a sudden, alarms blared through the building and red warning lights flickered in your cell. you stood up, peeking through the small glass of your cell door to see guards rushing through the hallways in a frenzy.
you assumed that the facility was under attack and no one was coming to save you. you didn't even try, walking back to your bed to return to your position of hugging your knees tightly to your chest.
you could hear the chaos outside but opted not to pay attention to it. it didn't involve you and if no one was coming to save you from whatever was attacking the place—not that anyone in that place would, you were merely an asset to them—you wouldn't bother worrying about whether you were going to live by the end of the night.
a loud bang interrupted your thoughts and you looked up to see your cell door had been forcefully thrown open by a large man in stripes, holding a circular shield. you immediately stood up, getting ready to attack him when he spoke.
"i'm not here to hurt you." he said, holding out a hand as if to tell you to stop whatever you were about to do. "we're here to save you. you can finally leave this place now." he says gently. you frown at him, still in a stance ready to attack him.
"cap, is there someone in this room?" a familiar voice spoke and your head immediately turned to the door, where the owner of the voice stood, mouth dropping open at the sight of you. your face softened and a tiny gasp left your lips at the sight of her.
"y/n...is that you?" she breathed out, walking towards you and not stopping when she saw that you weren't alarmed or anything. "nat.." you choked out, tears starting to form. how crazy was it that you had been having flashbacks of her for the past two nights and suddenly she was here to come save you?
"y/n!" she exclaimed, pulling you into a tight hug. you knees buckled but she held onto you tightly, sniffling as she caressed your head gently. you buried your face in her shoulder as you took in the familiar feeling of being in her arms once again.
more tears started to form in your eyes now. never had you thought you were actually going to see her again. you lost the hope of seeing her again two years ago. but here she was, standing in your cell and hugging you like there would be no tomorrow.
your hugging session was cut short when steve sheepishly spoke up. "sorry to uh, interrupt this reunion but more guards are coming, i think it's best if we leave now." he picked up his shield, leading the three of you out of the facility safely and back to their quinjet. the whole time, nat held onto your hand tightly, as if letting go would lead to another few years of being apart once again.
once you reached the quinjet, nat led you to the seats in the back where you two would have more privacy. the team watched the two of you in confusion before turning back to steve for an explanation as he was the one who was partnered with nat for this mission. all the captain could tell them was that you two knew each other way before this and that all of them would have to wait for an explanation from nat herself if they wanted to know what was going on.
when you reached the compound, nat led you to her room where she lent you her clothes and let you shower before tucking you into her bed. when she was sure you were comfortably asleep, she left the room quietly to go grab a glass of water only to find the whole team sat in the common room instead of back in their own rooms.
she looked at them, confused. "guys, it's like almost the crack ass of dawn and we just got back from a mission, why aren't you asleep? or were you debriefing? in the common room? did i miss it?"
"no, you know debriefings for late night missions are the next morning. we were waiting for you actually," steve spoke on behalf of the whole team. "me? for what?"
"nat, c'mon, don't act stupid. you know what we're talking about," clint makes an unimpressed face at his best friend. nat sighs, taking a seat next to him and the team look at her expectantly. she cleared her throat, preparing for a whole story time.
"you know how i was from the red room?" she asked them and they all nodded, urging her to continue her story. "well, after i graduated, i was asked to come help train the younger ones in the programme. during that time, i met this girl. she reminded me a lot of my younger self and she didn't seem completely brainwashed to the point where she lacked emotions. i grew close to her and after i met clint and joined SHIELD, i vowed to get her out of there because she went through a lot in that hellhole and i could tell she didn't want to do any of the things that the other girls were fine doing.
"she had a good heart and i didn't want it to be wasted. she was the best in the academy and i knew they had big plans for her. but i didn't want her to be programmed to kill. she was much more than that. so i made this whole plan for her escape. i kept going back to the academy to come see her and share my plan with her. clint, you always asked me where i kept disappearing to when we first started becoming friends. it was her. the people there didn't know i was already under SHIELD at that time—nobody did—so it was safe for me to keep visiting and keep planning an escape for her.
"but three years ago, the red room fell. i rushed over because i thought i could finally leave with her without anyone knowing. but apparently she'd been taken away. she was the only one of the girls who was taken. by who, i didn't know at that time. but i knew it was because of her skills and abilities. if the red room had big plans for her, i knew other organisations must've already heard of her too.
"i never stopped looking for her. i don't know why i never thought of HYDRA. but it doesn't matter anymore. i finally found her and i'm never letting her go. i hope you guys don't mind that she lives here now. if not, i'll move out and find somewhere for us."
the team seemed surprised that nat told them her story. they were very much expecting her to, well, not tell them because this seemed like a very personal story.
"no, no, of course she can stay. i'll even set up another room for her." tony says and nat nods gratefully. "what's her name?" wanda asks.
"y/n," nat tells her, smiling at the thought of you as she stands up. "alright, i have to go back to her. see you guys in the morning. maybe you'll get to see her then."
she bids them goodnight, leaving after grabbing a glass of water for you in case you woke up in the middle of the night, in need of it. she wasn't wrong because when she got back to her room, you were up, hugging your knees as you cried.
"hey, hey, hey, what's wrong, sugar?" she quickly puts the glass of water on the bedside table, sitting on the bed and pulling you close to her. you look up at her all teary-eyed and she feels her heart break.
"i–i thought i lost you again," you croaked out, burying your face in her shoulder. "oh, sugar, you'll never lose me ever again. i'll never let that happen. you're safe here with me. now sleep, i'll be here when you wake up." she stroked your hair gently, laying down next to you on the bed before you two fell into a blissful slumber in each other's arms.
true to her words, she was right next to you when you woke up the next time. she seemed wide awake and you felt bad because she probably had been up hours before but didn't leave you because you were scared.
"how'd you sleep, sugar?" she asked as you sat up, stretching. "the best i have in years. thanks to you, nat." you smiled at her, still not believing all of this is real. that you're finally reunited with the woman you thought of as your mother.
"do you want to meet my friends? they're dying to meet you," she tells you and you bite your lips nervously. "do you think they'll like me?"
"are you crazy? of course they will. and if they don't, i'll make them." she threatens playfully and you laugh, missing how protective of you she is. you smile, agreeing to her suggestions to meet her friends after you got ready for the day.
"hi, sweetie, you're y/n?" a man with fancy silk pyjamas greeted as you entered the common room with natasha. you nodded timidly, scooting closer to natasha. it was weird for natasha to see you this nervous. after all, you were the best student of your batch in the red room. but she understood that years with no actual social interaction does that to people.
"i hope you'll like staying here, i already have your room setting up as of right now. when you move in, you can tell me if you don't like anything and i'll change it for you. oh, i forgot, i'm tony," he extends a hand towards you and with an encouraging nod from nat, you hesitantly shake his hand. he smiles at you before telling you both he has projects to finish down in his lab and to tell him if you needed anything.
"hey, nat, not gonna introduce your friend to us?" you heard a voice from behind you and you two turned around to see two men and a woman. you recognised both men—one of them was the one who broke into your cell last night and the other one you had seen him a lot from pictures nat would show you during your secret meetings in your red room days. he was her best friend. you didn't know the woman but the kind smile on her face was enough to reassure you that these people weren't bad.
"y/n, meet clint, the idiot who i call best friend," she points to the shorter man. the name nat called him must've offended him because the face he made was hilarious that you let out a little giggle. nat smiles at this before proceeding to introduce the other two.
"this one's steve, he's an old man stuck in a young body—literally— so if he says things you don't understand, just smile and nod." you nod at nat and steve gives her an incredulous look, as if not believing the audacity she had to introduce him like that.
"this one's wanda, she's the least annoying person in this whole place and she can cook whatever you want so i think you two will get along really well." wanda smiles at you and you return it shyly. you smile at the other two before nat drags you away, telling them she still had others to introduce you to.
when you entered the kitchen, you saw a man reading a newspaper on the kitchen island while another man, whose skin was red, stood beside him. they seemed to be discussing something very intelligent because you didn't understand a single word they spoke.
"bruce, vision, i want you to meet someone." they turned their attentions towards you and nat and you immediately felt like hiding once again. "oh hello, steve told us you brought back someone from the mission. is this her? hello, i'm bruce," the man sitting down introduced himself.
"wait, is this the bruce?" you asked nat, smirking teasingly at her and she smacks you gently on the shoulder. the man seemed flustered at what you're insinuating, scratching his neck awkwardly.
"bruce, vision, this is y/n, i've known her for a long time and i finally found her after years so i hope you two won't mind that she'll be staying here from now on," nat tells them. the two of them didn't come on the mission last night so they were the only two who didn't actually see you until today.
"it's nice to meet you, y/n. i'm vision, i hope you'll enjoy your stay here." the man with the red skin greets formally and you turn to nat with a confused expression. "he's an android, he does things a bit weird here so don't mind him." she whispers to you and you nod understandingly.
"it's nice to meet you two, i hope we'll be good friends." you say awkwardly, hoping to get this whole introduction thing over with. how many people do you have left to meet?
speaking of the devil—or should you say, devils—, two annoying voices rang through the kitchen, interrupting the peacefulness that it was before they came in.
"i'm just saying that if you hadn't eaten my last bag of chips last week, i wouldn't have taken your cookies last night. it's all about fair play, man."
"and i keep telling you that it wasn't me! i don't even like those stupid salty ass chips from that brand,"
"stop lying, i saw you eating that brand the other day! just admit you stole my chips and go,"
"guys, are you really having another one of your stupid arguments now?" nat cuts them off and they immediately turned to you, finally noticing all of you.
"oh hey! y/n, right? it's nice to meet you, i'm sam. if you wanna survive in this place, you better hide your snacks because if you don't, this winter warrior here will snatch 'em all before you can even stash them in the cupboards. don't ever trust this guy here when it comes to your snacks. you heard what happened to mine," the man fakes a cry and you held back a laugh at his long introduction. you only wanted a name to match the face but he gave you much more. you didn't mind though, he seemed like a fun person.
"hi, doll, i'm bucky. don't listen to eagle right here, i do not steal snacks. i simply let people have a taste of their own medicine. you steal my snacks, wilson, i steal 'em back. you think i don't know you stole my oreos too last month? that's why i stole your damn chips last week,"
"so you did steal them!"
"so what if i did?! you stole my oreos first!"
"oh my god, guys, you're really embarrassing me in front of y/n. these are really the people i was excited to introduce her to," nat face-palmed and you couldn't help but laugh. "don't worry nat, these people seem amazing. i can't wait to get to know them better." you assured her and she smiles, pulling you close to her. "buckle up, sugar, because living with the avengers is gonna be a wild ride."
you were excited for what was about to come. it seemed like everything was finally falling into place. you finally got nat back and you didn't have to worry about losing her again because you had a feeling these people weren't going to let that happen.

Love Outside of Sitcoms
Summary: when things go wrong on a mission you need the help of both Bucky and Wanda to help get you back on your feet (aunt Wanda)
Warnings: blaming yourself for something and tickling
Pairings: talk of Peter Parker x reader
The dark sky of New York did not feel much different than the inside of your brain. Dark, and dull and just a little bit cloudy. You’re most recent mission hadn’t gone as well as you had hoped. It was supposed to be a quick and simple mission. Grab a certain person for intel from a warehouse. It was fairly easily accessed and you, Bucky, and Peter, managed to slip past their security without a snag. But as you were grabbing the man you needed for information, a rogue guard came around the corner of the door you were supposed to be keeping watch at. You panicked and he quickly flew up in the air before harshly hitting the ground. But as did everyone else in the room. Luckily, Bucky and Peter had quick enough reflexes that they managed to brace themselves before they hit the ground. But the agent you were there for was not quite as lucky, he was currently in the med bay, he would live, but he had several broken bones.
You had managed to avoid almost everyone so far the day of, and you didn’t feel much like seeing anyone today either. You knew you had let them down. But, you knew that eventually your hunger would take over, so you planned to head up to the kitchen when you were certain no one would be there.
Around two o’clock, you snuck out of your bedroom and into an elevator. You saw no one on your way up, and as you peeked into the kitchen floor you realized the coast was clear. You made your way over to the pots and pans to pull out a skillet, only to turn around and be face to face with Bucky. You went to whack him with the pan but you stopped halfway when you realized it was him.
“Relax I just want to talk,” he chuckled. You lightly set the pan down on the stove. You gestured for him to continue.
“You know it’s not your fault for what happened yesterday right?” he asked cautiously.
“How is it not my fault? I was the one who lost control of my powers, and made it everyone else’s problem,” you said solemnly.
Bucky sighed. “Y/n you can’t think like that, everyone makes mistakes. Besides, you just got your powers a couple months ago, you can’t expect to be perfect,” he pointed out. Bucky looked at you with such sincerity and worry, that you couldn’t look him in the eye. You felt your own eyes growing hot, but you refused to cry.
“But in order to not hurt all of you, I have to be perfect,” you argued.
“We will be fine y/n, your boyfriend has super strength and his stupid spidey senses, and I am a goddamn super soldier. You could probably throw us around like rag dolls and we’d be fine,” Bucky joked. You knew he was trying to make you laugh, but you weren’t certain you could even smile right now.
Bucky sensed that he wasn’t going to get through to you, but someone else might. He lightly patted your shoulder sympathetically, before heading down a hallway.
You continued making your lunch until Wanda walked in five minutes later.
“Sit,” she instructed as she let her magic take control of your cooking, and she pulled out a stool for you. You quickly took it.
“So Bucky told me that you’re blaming yourself for yesterday’s mission,” she started.
Of course he did, not that she wouldn’t have found out from you later, but you weren’t surprised. “Yes, but it’s hardly blaming since it was my fault,” you pointed out.
“Can I show you something?” Wanda asked softly.
She moved to turn on the tv in the kitchen and searched something on youtube, but you didn’t see what she was searching. She moved out of the way to show that it was a video of her. As the video played it showed her moving an individual with a bomb attached to him up into the air and away from the street. The bomb went off on the side of the building, which took out a floor.
“Why are you showing me this?” you asked.
“Because that was one of my first missions as an Avenger. I was doing what I thought would save people, but I made a mistake.” She then switched the video to all of the news coverage of when it had happened. It was all negative. People were calling her a terrorist, they said she didn’t deserve to be an avenger, and she was too much of a risk to be in public. The more videos you watched the more your blood boiled.
“But it’s not fair, you were just a kid trying to save people,” you protested.
“So why don’t you feel that way about what you did?” she asked as she turned off the tv.
You opened your mouth to speak but you closed it when you realized you didn’t have a response for that.
Wanda tucked a piece of hair behind your ear. “Don’t forget to apply the same love and patience you give to the rest of the world to yourself, that’s all I’m trying to teach you,” she said sweetly.
“But what if I hurt someone in the process?” Your voice cracked, and you could feel the water forming in your eyes.
Wanda tilted her head slightly, and her eyes almost seemed to warm. “Dear, the only person you’re truly hurting is yourself.”
“But what about the guy we were supposed to kidnap for information?” you reasoned.
“Well,” Wanda tossed her hair behind her, “honestly he’s a real scumbag so I think you did the world a favor.”
A small smile appeared on your face.
“And you made him a lot more willing to work with us, so I would say you are not only doing wonderful at your job but also at the S.W.O.R.D. investigations unit,” Wanda added as she playfully nudged your shoulder.
You finally let out a small laugh, as you felt a little weight finally fall off your shoulders.
“We are your family, which means we are here for you when you mess up, and when you succeed. I certainly didn’t master my powers in a number of months, so you shouldn’t expect yourself to either,” she advised.
“Thank you Wanda,” you said, as you dried your tears.
She smiled sympathetically. “Anytime, you know I hate to see you sad.” She quickly jabbed your side for emphasis. You let out a small squeak and scooted to the side.
You cautiously eyed her, “Don’t you dare,” you warned. But you looked up to see the sparkle in Wanda’s eyes, and you realized that her mind was already made up.
“Oh I think I dare,” Wanda quipped.
You quickly found that you could no longer move from your chair because of Wanda’s magic, or as Pietro liked to call it, her red wiggly woos. “I just want you to laugh,” she insisted as she squeezed at your side.
As much as you wanted to make a snarky comment, your lips stayed shut to keep your laughter from escaping.
“You’re really going to make me do it huh?” Of course, she did not get a response from you. “Fine, if you want to be difficult,” she tutted.
She squeezed at your hip bone and you were a goner.
“Wanda!” you screeched. If you could’ve moved, you would’ve fallen off of the stool. Your body was trying to spasm, but you obviously coudn’t, which made it ten times worse.
“What?” she asked innocently.
“Stop!” you giggly pleaded.
“Hold on, I just want to try this on someone,” she insisted.
She removed her hand for a moment, and you heaved a deep breath in. But you held that breath when you realized that Wanda was placing more of her magic on you. It seemed like the magic was moving towards your stomach. If you had thought her hands were bad, they were nothing in comparison to your stomach. The magic squeezed, and poked, and prodded all over your stomach. It didn’t exactly feel like hands, but that didn’t mean it didn’t tickle. You screamed with laughter, as your body finally gave into the sensation. Wanda released you after a couple seconds.
“Thahat was uncalled for,” you giggled.
Wanda shrugged with a mostly evil grin. “Maybe, but you’re smiling now, right?”
She raised her hands to shrug. “Well then my job here is done.”
She turned to walk away but you stopped her halfway. “Wanda?”
You barely spoke above a whisper. “Thank you.”
Wanda came back to where you sat and tightly pulled her arms around you. Your body felt a sense of warmth radiate around it. Wanda squeezed you tightly before letting you go. “Anytime.”

Karima walks down the dingy halls of the rundown motel. She listens to every little sound, trying to distinguish the steps of rodents from the steps of any potential witnesses that she doesn’t need.
Beginning to turn a corner, a door opens near the end of the hallway, catching her off-guard. She quietly gasps, and pushes her back against the wall and becomes invisible to the human eye.
The person slowly proceeds forward, each of their thudding footsteps vibrating the floor and echoing against the walls. It was as if they were walking in slow-motion or trying to fuck around with someone.
But that theory was quickly debunked as Karima saw a heavy-set man walk by with a cigarette hanging out of the side of his mouth and his eyes closed.
“What the fuck,” the teen muttered quietly to herself.
She needed to get in and get out cause this place was really giving her the heebie-jeebies.
She stealthily continued her way down the hall, keeping aware of her surroundings knowing this wasn’t the most trustworthy place. As she neared the last door, she reached to her side, her hand hovering over her knife. She unsheathed the weapon and rested her other hand on the doorknob.
The teen quietly twists it and finds the room clean (well as clean as this place could be) and empty as if no one had ever been there. She walked in tensely and flipped the lamp on, causing a dull light to emerge.
She surveys the room and after finding no immediate threat, Karima begins to scramble through everything; the draws, the bathroom, the closet, all of it. She then reaches the bed. She doesn’t want to look, if she’s being honest. Because if she finds nothing, then she has no leads. If she has no leads, then she loses her. And she can’t lose her. Not again.
She inhales deeply, and exhales deeper. A trembling hand reaches out and starts to pull back the covers. Her hand pauses briefly before she decides to rip off the band-aid.
After the covers, it was the pillows. After the uncomfortable ass pillows, it’s the whole damn mattress itself. She assesses the bed frame and finds nothing. She looks through the pillow cases and finds nothing. She cut open the pillow and still nothing.
Karima takes a breath, trying to calm down her rapidly beating heart.
“C’mon, c’mon,” she mutters to herself as she cuts open the mattress.
Her arm slips through the well-sized slit she created and immediately, it comes into contact with a folder. She immediately snatches the material out and rips the orange holder open.
Inside of it was over two thousand dollars and a section of a map.
Karima let out a sigh and ran a hand over her flushed face. Putting the items she found in her jacket, she headed towards the door.
Right before exiting, a glint of light flashed against her eyes. Looking on the headboard, she stalks towards the furniture and reaches out for the shiny metal. In her hand was a chain with a pyramid pendant. The teen turns the object over in her palms and on the back, it read, “I pledge.”
Karima bowed her head, then lifted it, giving the room one last look over before shutting the light off and leaving.
Natasha Romanoff was never one to be vulnerable. Whenever she got a splinter, the woman never whimpered or winced. It was simply a task of finding something small enough and yanking it out. Whenever she had gone undercover, she never shed tears over the mental and emotional toll pretending to be someone else took. She just did her job, no questions asked or hesitation given
Growing up, she was taught that being vulnerable equated to being weak. It has been engraved in her brain like her mind was some sort of headstone; it was all she would ever be.
A weapon that never wept.
When the Avengers were first assembled, Natasha was... skeptical, one could say. These were people she didn’t necessarily trust, but she had to for the fate of the world.
It was a whirlwind, to say the least. She had been trained to be a spy and use her body and reproductive organs to her advantage. She was never taught how to deal with aliens or other-worldly creatures. But she did it because she was, however, brought up to believe that failure results in punishment. And Natasha refused to fail.
As time went on, the heroes slowly became people she could rely on. They would always have her back and vice versa. Regardless of that, she would never share her deepest, darkest secrets or thoughts.
So when she jolted up from her bed, sticky from sweat, the woman quickly wiped those few tears that had been mistakenly shed and went to the shower which washed away any remnants of the involuntary recollection of her past.
It was as if her mind was on auto-pilot as she made her way to the kitchen, ready to prepare some tea. And it was only then that her mind became aware of her surroundings.
At the counter, someone was hunched over. They were holding a small glass before bringing it to their mouth.
The man shot his head up and straightened his back. He cleared his throat and nodded at his company.
The red-head continued walking over and sat across from the genius and gave him a once-over.
He looked tired; drained.
He slouched over his drink and stared into the abyss that was the liquid.
“Why are you up?”
“Couldn’t sleep,” he shrugged. “You?”
She nodded in response and muttered a quiet ‘same’ before they were both forcefully sucked back into awkward silence.
Tony let out a sigh after a moment and pushed himself up to grab a second glass. He reached under the counter into the cabinet and grabbed the bottle of vodka.
The man pushed both items to the woman who had an apprehensive eyebrow raised.
He gestured towards the liquid in encouragement and went back to sipping his own.
Letting out a sigh, Natasha filled her cup and slouched against the kitchen counter as well.
The philanthropist raised his glass. In response, the former spy copied his actions and clinked them together.
It was a silent vow to at least try.

What about a HC for teen reader xBAU team for how they would react to the reader being a sharp shooter? if you’re comfortable if not feel free to ignore 😊😊
Sorry, I answered the wrong ask, there was a avengers one as well.
Both Peters are scared of you.
Clint is loki kinda jealous but also finds it cool.
Nat has probably trained you like three times a week.
Pietro likes to see if he can outrun you as wanda made one of the bullets chase him around the room once.
You once accidentally shot Thor when he walked in front of the target.
Rocket and Nebula think you're cool.
Tony made you give him a lesson but he almost killed happy so pepper didn't let you train him a second time.

Have you seen Y/n?
Bucky: I need to use the restroom.
Tony: We're not gonna pause the movie so, you better hurry grandpa.
Natasha: Why did Y/n left her giant teddy bear that you gave to her in here? I told her to keep it in her room.
Tony: Maybe she played in here with Peter and Wanda earlier. She loves her teddy bear, of course she's dragging it everywhere.
Natasha: Yeah, but then I'm the one who's gonna put it back in her room because she forgot where she put it. You boys pretend to find it only going back to sleep instead. It's too big and heavy.
Tony: Admit it Nat, you'll do whatever she asks you to. And it's not too big, she's just small.
Wanda: Hey guys. Have any of you guys seen Y/n?
Tony: No. We've been here for almost two hours.
Natasha: You lost her? That's new.
Wanda: Not kinda lost, more like hiding.
Tony: Perks of being trained by the former Russian spy.
Natasha: Have you searched the kitchen? Lounge area? Her room? My room?
Wanda: Yes, yes, yes. Peter and I had searched around everywhere for the last 4 hours.
Tony: For hours?! Damn that kid took hide n seek to the next level.
Wanda: Why is Y/n's teddy bear in here?
Tony: Didn't you guys played in here?
Natasha: See. Told you she'll forget where she put it. Wanda, can you bring it back to her room?
Wanda, use her power: Y/N!! There you are!
Y/n awake: Hey guys. Oh man, you found me.
Wanda: Yeah! And we've been searching for the LAST FOUR HOURS!
Y/n: 4 hours? Really? Where's Peter..?
Wanda: He's on top of the tower looking for you!
Natasha: How long you've been sleeping under that teddy bear?
Y/n: I, think the first hour. I don't know, I fell asleep. It's heavier today than before.
Bucky: Shit. I lean on that bear.

The Helping Hand
Chapter 3: Remembering
22 years ago (Tony's POV)
"Dad say something." You watch as Howard paces back and forth. "Tony, what do you want me to say? I'm disappointed in you. You're better than this." He rushes towards you and you can see the desperation in his eyes.
"Does anyone else know? This could ruin you… this could destroy us." You sigh running your hand through your hair. "No dad, she hasn't told her parents yet." Howard tenses further and musters "Good, you better keep it that way."
"Dad, she wants to have the baby." He sits you down next to him placing his hand on your shoulder. "She's not going to keep that child tony. She can have it but she'll never see it again, and neither will you."
"Dad it's my kid I can't in my right mind have it in the foster system." Howard grows impatient. "And what exactly is it that you can offer the kid." You look at him, the anger and the feeling of inevitability building in you. "Money." You simply say for lack of other ideas.
Howard laughs with no trace of humor behind it "And have that child turn out like you, trust me they'll be better off without it. And let me make this clear you have no choice in the matter." You stand to face your dad "Or what did, what are you going to do?" Howard levels with your looking at your eyes "Or I’ll forget I have a son named Tony."
You are taken aback by your father’s words and he continues "So what's it going to be Tony that child, or your future you chose." You take a deep breath and compose yourself nodding at him. "Fine, Howard we'll do it your way. You say while you walk out, finding your mother on the other side of the door.
"Mom?" Shed gives you an apologetic look. "I'm sorry son for your father’s behavior. Everything will be fine." You let your guard down finally realizing the tears that you'd been holding in. You hug your mother nestling your face in her neck.
The pregnancy had gone by so fast Maya reluctantly agreed to your father’s terms. She moved into your home, and you got to see your daughter develop and become a tiny person. You're holding an ultrasound in your hand. "She's going to be beautiful." You say more towards yourself but Maya heard you.
"Do you ever wonder what will happen to her? Tony, I'm scared." You take her hand and look at her belly. "I'm scared too." You confess honestly. She shakes her head "No Tony, I'm scared for her. What exactly is going to happen to her?" You take her hand "I don't know Maya, but she'll be okay." You squeeze her hand reassuringly.
She grimaces and you get startled "Are you okay, is the baby okay?" You Ask almost instinctively Maya can only giggle at your reaction. "Were fine you can touch my bump if you went to. It's her new trick it's called kicking mommy at the most inconvenient times."
You hesitate, but place your hands on her bump. Seconds pass by when she kicks again causing you to laugh. Maya clears her throat "You know you can talk to her?" You look up at Maya and she continues. "I read it she can hear you… if you want to say anything it's probably a good idea to do it now before… well you know."
"Do you mind covering your ears?" She laughs but does it anyway. You bend down to her baby bump as if to make sure she could hear your voice. "Hi, baby it's me your dad. I just wanted to say that I'm sorry. And I wanted to give you some advice. Just be strong alright." You can feel your baby moving under your hands "I'm sorry." You repeat.
It wasn't long after this conversation that Maya went into labor. The whole thing was terrifying you, but you had to be strong. From now on yo I had to set an example. "Where is she? Where's my baby? I want to see her at least once Tony… Please." She pulled you out of your thoughts.
"Of course" You give her a small smile and leave the room to where your mother and father are. "Umm… she wants to see her. She wants to see her at least once." Howard sighs but caves in the end. "Fine… I’ll tell the nurse to go get her." You interrupted his sentence.
"Umm… actually I want to go get her." Your mother sighs "Tony, honey that's not a good idea." You look at her pleading with your eyes. "I need to see her… at least once. Please." She looks at Howard and he simply nods. You take your leave and go to the nursery.
Once there you look for her you find her almost immediately. "Hey monkey how are ya… I'm crazy, aren't I? Talking to a newborn like you could understand me." Suddenly she smiles and it lights up your entire heart. "We'll see each other again, I promise. I don't know how long it will be but I’ll see you again." You kiss her head gently. "I'll fight for you, you just have to be strong. Alright, let's take you to see your mom."
As you're making your way to her room suddenly you hear the words "code blue patient in room 34b is in code blue" suddenly the halls are filled with nurses running towards Maya's room. "Mom what's happening is Maya going to be okay?" She gives you a look "It's not looking good honey they've got her stable but, I would go in there before it's too late… Go, Tony!"
"Maya…" you say cautiously holding your baby. "How is she Tony… is she okay?" Her voice was hoarse. "She's beautiful… I think she has your eyes." She chuckles "let me hold her." You don't wait any longer, you place her in Maya's arms. "She's heavier than I thought." she mentions. "Tony fight for her, alright… maybe not today or tomorrow but find her. I'm not going to make it out of her promise that you'll look for her."
The tears start to build up in your eyes. You don't speak but you nod giving her closure. She turns to your baby she's holding in her arms. "I love you so much alright, I'm sorry. I'll always love you." She looks at you asking to take the baby from her arms. You do as she asks… she closed her eyes and never opened them again.
You walk out of the room, the tears streaming down your cheeks. Kissing your baby one last time on the head, handing her over to Howard. Breaking down almost immediately as you watch him walk away with her. As soon as he's out of your sight you feel like the air was knocked out of you.
"She's so beautiful mom… I wish you'd met her." You say as you remember all of her, her image burned in your mind forever. Her captivating smile that stole your heart the minute you saw it. And you promise to Maya. "I'm going to fight for her mom… I don't care how long it takes." She takes your face in her hands "I know you are." She says as she wipes your tears away.
As much as it pained you to see your son so distraught you continued with your plans. Yes, it was harsh but what was he going to do with a child. Especially now that the mother was gone, maybe she could actually find a worthy family in the system. At least that is what you are trying to believe.
You hadn’t taken the time to look down at your granddaughter until she cooed. I was one of the most peculiar sounds you’d ever heard. Finally letting your eyes travel down you the bundle in your arms. She was… she was perfect you saw Tony in her you saw Maya in her and it just brought pain to you. Here you were paying a stranger to leave her in a hospital. “I’ll give you half the money here and the rest when you come back.” You say firmly. The woman only nods holding the baby in her arms.
It felt like you were waiting forever when the woman came back you were startled. “Sir the baby has been left in the NICU.” You look at her bewildered as to why the child is now in the NICU. “What did you do to her.” she calmly says “The baby girl had problems with her lungs, something about a heart murmur I didn’t quite stay to find out.” You sighed and gave the woman the rest of her money.
Months had now passed and you were still keeping up with the child. Her medical issues were quite extensive, but you made sure she got everything she needed. She had not been adopted or even considered as an option… not once. People usually want healthy undamaged kids. When you were giving up hope on her adoption, you decided on bringing the child home.
Things were quickly changed when the system quite literally lost your granddaughter. At one point you were just looking through death certificates to see if you would find some trace of them. Three years had gone by when you finally gave up hope tired of looking for her tired of feeling the guilt.
Deep down you knew that Tony was going to look for her one day, something you didn’t see coming was her being nowhere to be found. You simply couldn’t live with that so you kept looking. There were so many times where you thought that you had found her but in reality, it was just someone else. It was a nightmare the things these kids went through at this point you just wanted to get her out you had seen enough horror stories.
It wasn’t until you found a report done on the Gordon family that you finally had a lead on where she was. That was almost 11 years of searching to find out that she had quite literally been through hell. She was transferred to a group home after the incident at the Gordon House. It took you months to get in contact with Jerome Evans.
“With all due respect Jerome if you dont hand over the kid you be in deep trouble.” you spat at him angrily. To which he simply chuckles. “And what are “you” going to do about it pops” Now it was your turn to laugh “I was beginning to think you’d never ask you see I know about everything that goes down here. What you do to the kids you know your little side hustle.” You can see Jerome’s expression change.
“Hand over the kid.” He simply nods and yells “Krast get down here!”
“Are you okay Tony?” You ask genuinely concerned. He simply nods and smiles “I just got an idea, what if we throw you a birthday party here a Stark Tower to commemorate our partnership.” You were surprised by his initiative. “I would love it thanks for offering, but as I said it would be till a couple of months from now so we have time.” Now Pepper starts to talk “When exactly is your birthday.” You think about it and answer “Well I was born in March early march. I don’t really know the day but I usually celebrate on the 5th.” By now Tony just looks pale but you let it slide as you don't know him well.
