Hoo boy, this scene. This is quite possibly the most questionable thing Wanda does (at least consciously) in the whole show. Not the expansion of the Hex itself; that was clearly an act of desperation done to save Vision’s life. But like... she only had to put about 20 feet on it to do that and everything would have been fine. And if she was putting more than that on the Hex deliberately to entrap SWORD, that means she knows for certain that the Hex is overwriting people, because if she thought no one was being mind controlled then she just let her enemies inside her protective barrier.
Also, the fact that she knows she can do this at all means she knows she is in control of the Hex. But to be fair, that doesn’t necessarily mean she knows she is in control of the people. What DOES mean that, however, is the way she straight-up freezes everyone in place while she does the expansion. I guess maybe you could make the argument that she didn’t intentionally do that, and her magic just had to pause everyone to focus exclusively on what she wanted, but you’d think she would at the very least take notice of everyone being frozen if that were the case. In fairness, the scene ends before we see the aftermath, so maybe everyone immediately resumed moving right before she opened her eyes, but who’s to say. Even if she legit never saw that, it still doesn’t explain her letting SWORD into the Hex unless she knew about the mind control.
The only excuse I can think of is that she assumed the strengthened barrier would push them away like it did to Monica’s tech in the following episode and only let Vision through, but that’s nothing but mental gymnastics.
I suppose some of the blame for this happening can be placed on Agatha, as she put on that façade of a frightened citizen in order to scare Vision into trying to get out of the Hex, but that doesn’t make it much better.

this isn’t really a hot take by any means but I feel like so much of my enjoyment of moon knight was that 70% of the screen time wasn’t taken up by cameos, callbacks and multiverse shit - just a fantastic intimate character study with a great cast, cool fights and a banging sound track

I don't think anyone in the hex was queer. Like, I think they all got straightwashed/cishetwashed when Wanda was making her sitcom world, she was not thinking about that at all and never questioned it again. I don't think Wanda knows what gay people are

So I've finally finished Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and not only did I enjoy the last three seasons way more than I thought I would, but I was not prepared for how delightfully unhinged the show became. Some of my favourite plot points included:
The female protagonist has a long-lost sister with superpowers who becomes the key to the entire crew returning to their original timeline through the Quantum Realm. Said long-lost sister is not introduced or even hinted at until the last five episodes of the entire show.
Half of one season takes place in a dystopian 2091 where the young twenty-something scientist couple not only meet their grandson who is the same age as them but said grandson returns to the present, becomes a series regular, and calls them "Nana" and "Bobo" in some Once Upon A Time worthy family tree shenanigans. Oh he also gets stuck in the 80s and claims he wrote Don't You (Forget About Me)
Phil Coulson dies in Season 5 because in order to stop an evil AI -turned-human-turned evil because she got dumped by a small Scottish man he has to become Ghostrider. The entire season builds up to this in a way that makes it feel very much like the actor is stepping away from the show and retiring the character, only for them to cast Clarke Gregg as an evil deity from another dimension in Season 6 and as a Life Model Decoy that may as well just be Phil Coulson in Season 7
Patton Oswalt plays multiple identical characters who all work for SHIELD. This is never fully explained.
“Mata Hari Calamari”
The final season is a decade-hopping gimmick with matching genre episodes that beat WandaVision to the punch
One character is a robot anthropologist who just wants to be best friends with the same small Scottish man. He has canonically been trained to perform in alien brothels and eventually becomes a bartender in the Crazy Canoe in 1955. He is one of the absolute best parts of the show.
One plot line follows said same Scottish Man and robot anthropologist as they get stranded in outer space with their only way home being to gamble in an alien casino while their friends attempt to rescue them but accidentally take LSD instead
"I found that bluffing was much easier if you kill someone and take their skin."
Area 51 is canonically a SHIELD base

You know what the ending of Loki episode 6 reminded me of? It remind me of the post credit scene in the last WandaVision episode. In WandaVision Wanda was using the darkhold to learn more about her magic and try find her boys; at the end you can hear their voices throughout the multiverse. Similar in Loki, how we see him sitting on his throne watching over time, being able to watch over every possible moment in time imaginable but the one voice he hears is Mobius’s…the one who matters most…just like Wanda’s kids.

“And he’s what you’d call...a ‘manchild’.” Billy here, joining Charles and Vision in the long line of INFJs who are So Tired of Pietro “Peter” Maximoff’s shenanigans and general chaos after knowing him for two seconds

Of all the scenes in WandaVision that make me doubt Wanda, this is definitely the one that bothers me the least, because even though Fake Pietro explicitly tells her how the mind control works, it stands to reason that she wouldn’t believe him.
What doesn’t stand to reason, however, is that she would not put two and two together with what Vision told her the night before. What’s up with that? Is she being deliberately obtuse, or does she just not care?
The former makes her look like an idiot, and the latter directly conflicts with who she is as a person.
