‼️ IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING SHIPPING OF WANDERLUST ZINES ‼️

If you purchased Wanderlust and have not yet received your items, this announcement is imperative. PLEASE READ THIS POST IN ITS ENTIRETY.

We are deeply saddened to say that our Head Mod, Ari, has done the equivalent of ghosting us. Though our other Mods have been able to make occasional contact, it is nowhere near reliable, and there is currently no evidence that Ari will ever return.

Ari has been handling shipping of the zine herself. For the last few months we have been in a perpetual state of “only a few packages left to send,” which has dragged out calculating final profits and paying our contributors to an ungodly length of time.

She has sole control of the full funds of Wanderlust and either cannot or will not make them accessible. Though we Mods have a small amount available to try and cover as many refunds as possible, we are missing over $13,000.

The last time we can prove Ari did any work for the zine is October 24th. This was supposed to be another round of packages being sent, and with any luck, they actually were. Directly after this Ari disappeared again.

This trend of doing something small for the zine then disappearing for great lengths has been going on for months. We are very worried that she will continue doing this with longer and longer absences until she finally disappears entirely.

We make this announcement to both inform the general public of our status as a zine and to ask our customers who have not received their items to email us immediately at [email protected]. We are attempting to cover as many refunds as we can, but we are limited.

We are currently contacting the people who previously reached out about their lost or unsent items and will be giving those refunds priority, as well as anyone who is still waiting on a preorder.

From the bottom of our hearts, we sincerely apologize that it has come to this. We know this zine is a beautiful collection of art and writing and we want it in your hands as much as you do. Should Ari return, we will insure your orders are still sent to you, free of charge.

My friends can attest I've been waiting for this for the longest time and it arrived last night! It gave me so much serotonin that I had the energy to clean the top half of my bookshelf so I could set a whole shelf aside for bkdk merch! Thank you so much @bkdk-forever it was well worth the wait!

I bought the full bundle but couldn't fit the zines on the shelf, but I assure you they have a home on another shelf with my manga! Thanks a ton to all of the wonderful writers and artists who contributed. I always consume content better when I have it physically with me so I waited to read anything until I got the physical zine and I'm so happy it's here! Now to do homework so I can't justify spending the rest of the day reading fanfic.

Meet Your Mods!

Mod K: Your main mod!  My name is Kayden, they/them.  I’m @the-ghost-of-kirishima-eijirou, and I do art and writing, have a bachelors in fine arts, and I’ve been thinking about making this zine a reality for many months now!  I’m also your concept artist, and the one behind the concept covers you may have seen on the blog.

Mod O: One of your secondary mods!  My name is Olivia, but you can call me Livvy.  She/her. I’m @mylondinium, and I’m an aspiring artist and the main moderator over at @my-comic-academia!  I just finished running International Patrol, a for-charity zine that explored the BNHA world and their culture!

Mod A: Last but not least!  My name is Ari, although some people call me Alice.  I use female pronouns (she/her), and I make art for fun!  I’m known as @ariririsu in all my social media platforms (Tumblr and Twitter).  Currently, I’m moderating Wanderlust: A BKDK Zine, Once Upon a Quirk: BNHA Fairy Tale Zine, BNHA Cosplay Zine, Summer & Sun: BNHA Zine, and the BNHA Fem-Slash Music Zine!  I’ve been in several zines as an artist as well! Hey Wanderers, we come with good news! All pre-order packages have been shipped and we will now be announcing information on leftover sales!

There are different quantities of each product left with varying degrees of damages to them, listed below.

Mint condition: Book quality and merchandise quality is in brand new to near mint condition.

Good condition: Book quality shows signs of moderate imperfections. Books may have minor cosmetic defects such as glue splotches, possible creases, or slight wear on the cover and/or spine. Inside book pages are not affected. Merchandise quality shows signs of one or two small defects such as small scratches, and/or slight crease on backing cards.

Fair condition: Book quality shows signs of heavier cosmetic defects such as severely worn corners, bigger glue splotches, or possible creases on the cover and/or spine. Inside book pages are not affected. Merchandise quality shows signs of heavier cosmetic damage such as scratches or small dents.

Poor condition: Book quality and merchandise quality shows signs of extreme cosmetic defects such as noticeable wears, tears, and/or creasing. This level of condition is usually not recommended for sale, but will be available for a large discounted price.

Our prices will be adjusted accordingly. You can buy bundles OR individual zines/merch items. Everything will be sold on a FIRST-COME-FIRST-SERVE basis and more information will be released in the following days.
