Does anyone remember what fic this is? Lan Wangji travels back in time and he reacts differently to Wei Wuxian. They start getting closer. Afterwards LWJ is said to go into seclusion and WWX is upset that LWJ didn’t say anything. For how ever long LWJ was gone WWX skips Gusu Classes to wait for him in the tree near the path up the mountain where LWJ is supposedly at. He’s actually went to defeat the Wen before they could even start the war, and he came back with the Wen refugees. WWX hears that Lan Wangji is back and runs to see him. I remember he even thinks that LWJ and Wen Qing might end up together which causes him to have an angsty moment lol

Wuxian went to pour herself some water and decided to give this fancy tea a go. She could get her fix on the way home. She noticed something on the kitchen counter: a can of wet dog food.

“...Do you have a dog?” she asked, tense.

“That’s not for real dogs.”

“...Oh. Right!” Wuxian laughed in relief. “I don’t like dogs.” She came to sit down. “I mean I’m afraid of them.”

“Don’t worry, no dogs here.”

“If I was pretending to be an animal, if I was into that you know, I would be something else. Like…”

Wangji looked at Wuxian as she started to peel her egg. The girl’s hair was still wet after the shower and she smelled like Wangji’s shampoo and shower gel. Her nipples shone subtly through her black bralette and she was sitting weird, both legs crossed on the chair.

“...A bunny!” Wuxian grinned at Wangji.

“M-hm.” Wangji blew into her tea and sipped while scrolling through her emails on her Macbook.

Wuxian decided she better not disturb Wangji more, so she finished eating quietly.

“Thank you so much for breakfast!” Wuxian stood up and figured to bring her cup and plate and knife to the sink –she felt like she should be on her best behaviour. “I’ll be heading home now. Hey, I’ll send you a link to next weekend’s party, it would be nice if you could come and see my performance, but no pressure!”

“I will have to see my schedule.”

“Alright!” 

Wuxian put on her clothes, checked how to get from Wangji’s place to hers and left.

 

Wangji was left alone in her apartment. Blissfully, terribly alone. Now it felt too empty. She should get a pet.

…I always wanted a bunny.
