Summary: You've got the cold and now your boyfriend must take care of you.

Warnings: general talk of sickness.

Lucifer

Has "do what I say, not what I do" energy. 

He urges you to take time off and rest. Says it's very important to relax for a timely recovery. Be sure to remember his exact words for the next time he is sick.

Will try to get out of work earlier so he can take care of you. He calls you throughout the day to see how you're doing and if you need anything. If you're in a really bad condition, he will take time off to take care of you.

He can't cook, but will order any foods you like. 

He will cuddle you if you ask, but won't offer on his own. He is a little scared of it being contagious. 

When you feel better, he won't expect anything from you but will accept any gestures of gratitude you give him.

Mammon

Whiny.

Thinks you're going to die.

You have to reassure him that it's just a cold every thirty minutes. I will try to get you to the hospital anyway.

He is completely at your service from day one. Do not dare move a muscle; the great Mammon has everything covered for you.

You have a fresh supply of hot tea always by your side. He makes sure you get all of your meals. He keeps a tally of every medicine you need to take. You basically have a personal nurse.

Lots of cuddles and massages.

If you're trembling at all because of the fever, he will hold you as if you were having a seizure.

He cries a lot when you're in pain, probably more than you.

When you're feeling better, he will expect at the very least a thank-you gift. A shopping spree would be preferable.

Leviathan

He doesn't know what to do.

Finds everything to be too overwhelming. He is really worried about you and wants to help, but he has no idea how to take care of a sick person. So, of course, he goes back to the person who used to take care of him when he was sick. Mammon.

He tries his hardest to be just as supportive, but it doesn't go well. The tea is always too hot or too cold, he only knows how to make ramen, and he keeps forgetting about the ibuprofen!

In the end, the best he can do for you is bring you more tissue boxes and lay down by your side while you watch movies. You reassure him that this is more than enough, but he still feels a little guilty.

When you feel better, make a great spectacle about how helpful he was. He did miss a butch of seasonal releases just to stay with you.

Satan

He will insist you take time off the moment symptoms start to show.

Shows up at your house with a butch of medicinal herbs. Mint to open up your nose, lavender to help with the headache, cardamom for... Something? He knows it had some healing property, but seems to have forgotten. He makes you some soup with it just in case it was important.

Won't go near you, even if you ask. Most he'd do is help you get around if your muscles are aching.

He will tell you about his latest read and how it made him feel. If you have read it, he will ask you to compare notes. Just trying to keep you entertained any way he can.

He brings all of his favorite tea blends for you to try out.

He won't expect anything in return for his care. He loves you, and that's just what you do for the people you love.

Asmodeus

Whiny 2.0

"My poor, beautiful thing."

He might not know a lot about caring for the sick, but he knows a lot about self-care. You will still have a runny nose, but your skin will shine, baby. 

He will pamper you. Have all of the blankets. Sleep for as long as you want. Ask for any food, and he will get it for you. With unlimited snacks, you can even have his favorite chocolates. He will watch all of your comfort shows and movies with you.

Baths, many baths. They are really good when you're sick; they relax your muscles and help the bad energies leave the body.

As soon as you're feeling good, it's his turn to be pampered! So better be prepared.

Beelzebub

If nothing else, you're well fed.

All healthy meals, he won't let you indulge in sweets. Your body needs protein and veggies right now, and he will have them for you at every meal. 

Will cut fruit for you as snack.

Pushes you to do some light exercises when you can. Sweat out the sickness.

He is very supportive, constantly telling you you're going to be okay. He will stay by your side every single minute.

He will carry you around if your muscles are sore.

When you're feeling better, he will make you desert. For the days he has you surviving on steamed broccoli and rice.

Belphegor

This is actually great news.

He gets to cuddle with you all day, and you won't be able to escape. He can even use you as an excuse to take a day off. No work, no school, just napping with his favorite person. Every day should be like that.

If only you didn't have to be sick for it to happen. 

He doesn't know much about taking care of someone. Being the youngest one, everyone else always took care of him. But he doesn't like seeing you hurt, so he will try his best.

The best medicine he can offer you is a good nap in his arms, but he will try some of Satan's medicinal teas. If needed, he will get Lucifer to drive him to the pharmacy. 

He doesn't know a thing about eating healthy, so you will get a diet of chips, pastries, and candy.

If you manage to get better, he will whine about not having your full attention anymore.

Has rook look after you when he’s too busy to do it himself. You are a magic less girl from an unknown world so of course he’s going to be scared for your safety.

Makes sure you are stocked up with sanitary products. Big brother vil will make sure you are doing alright and have everything you need.

Girls night after a long day or exam week!

Tries not to post you too much on his magicam. He either posts you on close friends OR has a secret magicam account that only his close friends + you know about. He can’t have you being bothered by paparazzi or crazy obsessive fans.

Then your stuff keept on going missing. It probably wasn't just that stupid, greedy demon who was doing so but he differently was in first place for it!

Then you noticed your few friends from RAD are gone... Like that really nice succubus you were friends with. She was so nice to you always there to help you with anything. You never saw again after you said you were hanging out with her to the brothers! You were the last person to see her alive. You had to hold her funeral. You could bearly keep it together at said funeral. You never cried so hard.

You still keep a picture of her and your friend group hidden in your room. You know dam well if the brothers find it.... You don't want to think about it..

Now you wish you never made that STUPID pact with him or any of them! You couldn't of even go outside without them trying to drag you back in!

Then you saw Mammon killing one of your few friends left... The way their blood dripping making a horrible wet sound as it hit the floor. The way you could see the blood drip out of his mouth! The way he had a stupid grin on his face! You saw the poor demons insides put on display.... The poor demon was still alive! And they looked so scared... You don't blame them...... The way their life was ended by one loud stomp! And you saw the blood splatter every in a certain distance. You threw up.. Like a large amount of throw up... It didn't help you saw that bastards hand grab something.... You don't want to know what. But you then... You heard a loud chomp. And him sallowing...... You saw the insides dangling out of his mouth.... The blood still dripping.. ...

It's been.... You don't even remember..... Since then...

"I'm sorry but you made me do it. Now you have a ugly scar on your once beautiful face... But I still love you!"

You still have have a scar from trying to escape amso....its not even that noticeable from far way but he won't let you live it down! You hate all of those 7 fuckers!

You tried everything! You even used your pacts.. You managed to get away for 2 weeks and back to the human realm before Lucifer found you... You don't even know how! You dyed your hair,changed your name! you changed everything... But you think the pact is way too strong of that....

You took away to many showers after you got brought back.. You still have nightmares about it but you rather die a horrible death then tell them that..you wish that you stayed dead!

So when you got brought back to the past you were actually happy... Because they don't even remember you!! Meaning no more yandere!! You gladly took that deal and ran with it..

However the brothers didn't take it so well.... You escaped their grasp and this time they have no way getting you back!

Lucifer

He is pissed. Not only did he lose his darling. That shady wizard bitch is getting to be all yours! His anger wasn't obvious at first glance due to his pride. But if you look closely you can see how he is inraged. His coal black wings were puffed out like an upset cat. Last time he was this angry he ended up with Satan. He looking for anything that can get you back. And once you do come back he's never letting you out of his sight again. If your able to walk after you go back it's a miracle. All though the Demonus companies are really thankful. They haven't seen so much profit in the start of its production! But at the same time he feels like a failure of an oldest brother. He isn't there for his baby siblings. He feels like a failure of his family. He's watching his siblings ruin themselves. He needs to be strong for them... But he just can't bare the pain of you no longer there. The pain of knowing dam well that you could be hurting and no one is there to wipe away your tears and to pick you up. Just like how you did with his family

Mammon

Oh boy... Where do I start? He is absolutely devastated! His Human, treasure his everything is gone and probably in danger! And you just want him to except that?! (Yes. Yes we do) if he can do anything he will! If Solomon comes back with a single scratch on your perfect body he is going to regret the day his mother had to give birth to him. Mammon is using EVERY connection he has to see if they can help. Before they knew you were in the past he was the first one out the door looking for you. And we all know he isn't going to make the same mistake again. I hope you enjoyed going to the bathroom alone. Because when you get back you NOT having that again. He also is picking up the slack because of Lucifer. Mammon is the second oldest and he CAN NOT deal with the image of his siblings in pain. He cares for them. So even if gets insulted, hit and hissed at by his brothers he doesn't care as long as they aren't upset as much.

Leviathan

He's not very happy. Is all I can really say? But because of his crippling self worth issues he's saying stuff like "of course they wouldn't want to be around a yucky otaku like me" and similar stuff.. It's a little depressive. But don't be fooled if you think he isn't lashing out at everything. He nearly damaged his figures in a fit of rage once. If that doesn't show how upset he is then what does? He is the general of hell's Navy so one wrong comment from a lower demon and their swimming with Lotan

Satan

Avatar of wrath so you can guess how he is dealing with this.. Not very fucking well. He has destroyed so much of the devildom it's common practice for demons to be jumping over creators just to go to school. His room is worse for wear. It looks like a war happened in there. He is reading every single book he can about this subject so he can get you back faster but every dead end only leads to a ruined building. However most of his wrath also steams from the fact he knows how he was back then. He's worried that he will hurt you. All though he harsh with punishments he isn't very found of the idea of you getting killed by his wrath

Asmo

Asmo isn't recognizable. At all. His hair is greasy from not showering or bathing for long times.. His eyes red and puffy for crying his eyes out, lips cracked from not drinking water. He spends most of his time sleeping. He didn't get how belphi could sleep all the time but now he does. All mirrors are broken in the house. He couldn't stand seeing himself in the mirror. Not only are you gone ( he thinks your scared without them and crying without them to which your definitely not. You celebrated the second you were free) but so is Solomon! And no one other then him is there for you! That Shady sorcerer.. What if you get a scar! What if you don't drink water? (The call is coming from inside the house I swear-) what if a stupid lust demon tries to take you?! Their scent on you definitely is gone by now! He has his good days though! If he realized that you could be back soon he has to look the best! So he washed his hair and everything else, did a face mask his daily routine and put a lot of chap stick on. Just in case you're back at that day! It usually lasts for a week until he gets upset.

Beelzebub

Beel is trying to keep his family together. He's trying his very best. But he just can't always do so. He's the protector of this family. He always has been but he doesn't feel like he should anymore.. After all not only did he failed to protect Lilith. He couldn't even protect you! He I'd having nightmares after nightmares about his failures of not protecting his family to the point belphegor often goes to his beloved twin's dreams to try to put a good dream in his mind. His appetite is all over the place! One day he eats everything like normal then the next day he can't actually eat anything. It worries his other siblings. Another thing is he keeps food for you just in case you're back. He has no clue if your eating correctly! Your way from the people who protect you. Your probably so scared! (Your really not-) so he keeps food he just in case for you. No one is allowed to throw it away though... So when or IF you come back ignore the moldy rotten food. You know during the early lessons while belphi was in the attic? It's like that. Demons are pact animals pretty much and beel is the biggest family man know to man. So he was destroyed and don't get me started how he feels thinking that if he was just there with you, you would be safe and there with them. You know when you called for Beelzebub in the past because of the apples he felt that but not 100% . He felt you call for him to help you. He didn't know if he actually did in the past. He has no clue if you got hurt because HE wasn't there for you. He wasn't there to pick you up and save you

Belphegor

He is PISSED to say the least. Not only did you get out if their grasp there's no guarantee that your coming back let alone safe! The one day they let you lock yourself in your room and didn't join you is the time you were taken away by someone. That is NEVER happing again. Hope you enjoyed having a door because that is coming straight off. His sleep schedule is so off wack. One day he sleeps for 23 hours and only getting up because Beel is making him eat. Beel be dammed if he loses another loved one. But the next 3 days he isn't sleeping. He is only sleeping when beel put sleeping pills in his food. Belphi is now never leaving Beel's side. Not like Beel was letting him leave longer than 30 minutes. Belphi isn't very found of the idea that your in the past for MANY reasons but one main one is because the simple fact. You went to the past where Lilith's death was fresh. His hate for humans were so strong. He already killed you once he doesn't want to lose you again.

While all this is happening your living the life that the brothers ripped away from you. So when your looking for books about Nightbringer and when Mammon freaks out... All you get are flashbacks. Strade with an autistic mc?

One of my characters has low functioning autism. She’s really sensitive to bright, noisy light and cold air. (It could trigger a meltdown). Her special interests are stuffed animals, especially if they’re big and cuddly, and apple slices.

She’s not really great at verbal communication especially when she scared or nervous. She’s good at physical communication tho? Expressions?

Also she’s part tanuki soooo do whatever you want with that.

Riddle Rosehearts

You are the exact opposite of each other (besides having no rizz). You are social and easygoing, he is obviously not. He hated you at first, but you were able to smooth-talk your way into his heart somehow (again, even though you have no rizz).

Riddle always suggests study dates between the two of you since you seem to be struggling academically. You always get stressed out when he gets impatient in how long you are taking to solve a problem he has given you. You’ve shocked him a few times because of it, and you’re very quick to apologize.

When he overblotted, you were afraid to use your power since you could electrocute everyone so you made them get away. You didn’t want to hurt Riddle, but realized that there was no other choice than to use 2 million volts. As you both sat in the infirmary, Riddle got to see your YaAay side and he was scared that you went brain dead.

When you returned to normal, you had to explain that it was the drawback of using that much electricity since you had to use some of your neurons. The thumbs up was to make sure everyone knew you were alright. So you did this for him? Well, for this valiant deed, maybe he could humor you and go on the date you’ve been asking for.

Leona Kingscholar 

He’s way more of a smooth talker than you could ever dream of being. You are more social and friendly while he’s snarky and grumpy. Eventually, he fell for you and your shenanigans because he can see that you truly care for the people around you.

He’s smart, but he never goes to class. If you ask him to help you, he will refuse since he’s too busy sleeping. You’re better off trying to ask someone else, but since he’s very possessive he doesn’t like it when you ask someone other than him. Not even Ruggie.

When he overblotted, he already knew of your quirk but he didn’t know how much electricity you were able to use. When he heard you shout ‘2 million volts’, he knew that this was about to hurt real bad. In the infirmary, Leona was laughing so hard at your brain-dead side.

When you returned to normal, you had to tell him that you probably lost some neurons because of it. You had some serious power (get it?) within you, didn’t you? Well, he has to admit that what you did was brave, so you have his respect (and his heart).

Azul Ashengrotto

He absolutely despised you, but also realized that your personality and natural charm drew people in. He most definitely tried to hire you to get more customers, but you refused saying that you didn’t like to work unless it was mandatory for school.

He would then try to get you under contract by suggesting a way to cheat in exchange for your magic. However, you didn’t have magic. You had a quirk, and it couldn’t be taken away by anything besides someone else’s quirk.

When he overblotted, he came to the quick realization that being underwater was probably not the best environment to fight you in. If you remember from science class, water is an electric conductor, so he will get electrocuted. And he was, with the 2 million volts you shot out. Now he’s panicking when you are both in the infirmary since you’re kind of brain dead.

Embarrassed, you explained that it was an unfortunate side effect to your very powerful quirk. So you risked a few neurons just to make sure that he wouldn’t die because of his overblot? Well now he is kind of flustered at how much you care for him.

Kalim Al-Asim

“Corporate needs you to find the difference between Y/N and Kalim.” “They’re the same person” -Blue (2023). Nah but seriously, y’all were made from the same mold or something. He doesn’t understand what you’re trying to say when you flirt with him, so you might as well not even try.

You both are kinda not… great in an academic way of speaking. Jamil always gets frustrated at the two of you when you don’t understand a topic that he has gone over multiple times. Eventually, you get stressed and zap both of them.

When Jamil overblotted, you were afraid that Kalim would get electrocuted as well since he refused to leave without you. You told him to take cover and shot out 2 million volts. Since the Vice Housewarden had an ink monster trailing, it took the brunt of the shock. In the infirmary, Kalim is taking care of you until your brain revives itself.

It’s then that you apologize and tell him that that is what happens when you use so much electricity without giving yourself time to charge back up. He laughed and said that it was alright, then he thanked you for protecting him and his best friend. 

Vil Schoenheit

He didn’t hate you… he just very much disliked you. Sure, you had a great personality, but your flirting needed some work. You often got flustered by the things he said to you rather than him getting flustered by the things you said to him. 

The reason why he tells himself that he dislikes you (because he genuinely actually loves you) is that you’re kinda dumb. You were a bad influence on Epel since you didn’t study a lot, and if you did you kinda failed it even though you didn’t take any test yet.

When he overblotted, he knew your first move would be to evacuate everyone so that you would be able to use your quirk. What he didn’t know was it was because you were about to release 2 million volts of electricity. He had to hold in his laughter when he saw you just yAaAy your way around the infirmary.

Once you come back, you are so embarrassed as he asks what the heck happened. You have to tell him that it was a drawback to the amount of electricity you shot out of your body. It took a toll on your brain, and now he feels kind of bad for laughing. Perhaps he could treat you to dinner that he has prepared himself as a way to apologize?

Idia Shroud

You freaked him out because you were extroverted and he was introverted. You were nice, but you were eccentric and that’s what he was wary of. Plus, your flirting actually worked on him because he got flustered so freaking easily.

Since he is shy and has a crush on you, he will most likely run away before you have the chance to ask him for help on your homework. You often have to ask Ortho instead and give Idia a message through the younger Shroud sibling.

When Idia overblotted, your first move was to use your quirk at its max capacity. The problem was that it would be fighting fire with electricity. However, ink is electrically conductive so you were able to overload it with the 2 million volts you released. It came at the price of Idia freaking out at you being brain-dead for an hour.

Once you came back, he let out a huge sigh of relief. He thought it was like a fairytale where he would have to kiss you to bring you back. You were so embarrassed and had to explain that it was the drawback to your quirk. He totally wasn’t disappointed that he couldn’t be your prince charming and save you from the state of unconsciousness that you were in.

Malleus Draconia

He actually really enjoyed your company. You were so eccentric and exciting, as well as friendly and encouraging. Sure, he didn’t understand your way of flirting, but that was all okay because you weren’t scared of him.

The dragon fae would absolutely love to help you with your homework. He understands that it could be frustratingly confusing to someone who didn’t have magic, so he remains patient whenever he sees you struggle with a concept. 

When Leona overblotted, you had warned everyone to evacuate. Malleus was still there to see the electricity coming from you turn the dust that Leona created to glass. He also got hit with some of the bolts when you released 2 million volts, but he was able to withstand it. He got to see you turn dumb for a whole hour, which was amusing and concerning to him.

Once you came to, you were so embarrassed at how you were so vulnerable in front of him. He let a smile grace his face as he assured you that it was intriguing how you managed to walk up to him even while brain-dead. It meant that even unconsciously, you trusted him.

Heya, could I request a secretly demon MC? They’re using some type of magic to hide their true appearance (basically one like a tiefling from DnD) and have a pact with The Devil, but are now suddenly trying to break it because the M6 gave them some type of hope for their life again?

Before the M6 even discover this, the MC was brash and selfish, also fairly quick to jump to violence (though probably not Vulgora level) and quiet about their past. Nobody knew when it was time to go up against the Devil that you were tempted to join him. While you never let on, his voice always spoke the loudest to you in the cards, and you relished the way his cunning nature enabled your own aggressive tendencies. While in the end you were able to work with your lover to preserve Vesuvia, you still feel a little guilt for the way his words continue to provoke you.

Julian

He's not going to judge someone for their past. The way he sees it, you're working with what you've got, and you're doing a fine job. If you're a little aggressive about it, cool

No seriously, he's kind of a fan. He got to watch you kick a rude customer out of your shop once and he still lies awake at night fantasizing about it

Let out some of your aggression with him. Please.

On a less indulgent note, he knows what it's like to have tendencies he's not proud of

It was a little daunting to tell him that it had been tempting to take the Devil's side and not live with any more constraints, and that you still struggle with some guilt about it, but he listened closely

He understands the feeling of guilt for something he didn't do, but still wanted to. He's quick to tell you how he relates to you, and to remind you of the lesson you taught him to live looking forward

Speaking of looking forward, are you sure you want to stay at the shop forever? You're not that well suited to customer service

They didn't know of your affiliation until it came time to re-teach you magic, and the strong link they saw scared them a little at first

To be clear - he wasn't scared of or disturbed by you. He just knew firsthand what the Devil could be like, and he worried what kind of harm that affiliation might cause to the person he loves so much

It was another reason for them to be so secretive about your abilities - they weren't just waiting for your mind to heal enough to hear about the past, they were waiting for you to be strong enough to navigate a connection like that

He watched you when it came time to bargain with and subsequently trap the Devil, and he is so, so proud of you

Your short temper, aggressive nature, and quickness to violence are a different matter entirely. Everyone has things they struggle to control, that's part of being a person

They've spent years teaching you not to be afraid of or upset by your tendencies

If anything, they love the chance to see you let loose for the right reason. You're stunning when you're in your element

Nadia

You shake things up and she likes it

She's so used to maintaining total control of herself and biting back her immediate responses that your impulsive aggression is hugely refreshing

It's also a nice change when most of the people she interacts with prefer to hide their thoughts and actions as much as possible

Half the time you lose your patience and shout you just end up saying what she was already thinking

She's especially happy to find that you give as good as you get, and that the chances of her doing something you don't like without you letting her know is next to zero

She was able to perceive quite a bit of tension whenever you spoke to the Devil. She could tell how tempting it was for you to join him, and seeing your decision to resist only made her fall harder for you

As a result, she likes to challenge you to see your aggression as a gift instead of as a struggle

Have you considered some form of combat training? Fencing? Wrestling? You have a gift for violence, would you like to join her royal guard?

Muriel

You shake things up and it's better for him than he'd like to admit

If you're too quick to escalate things, he's the type who doesn't escalate even when it would be the appropriate thing to do

It was hard for him to get along with you at first. You remind him a bit too much of Lucio with your quick temper and loud voice, but you have a good heart

He especially saw it when the two of you were training under Morga. He came to recognize courage in your ferocity, and started to question what made a good person a good person

Of course, he didn't appreciate it as much when he was a little too close to your sparring matches and they started to get more aggressive than necessary

He's also quick to help you re-frame your guilt around your connection - you don't think he's a bad person after what he did, why would he think you're bad for what you didn't do?

He does value peace and quiet though, so he usually suggests that you stay in charge of splitting wood and other more violent jobs, just so you have a regular outlet

Portia

You have a short temper? She has a short temper too!

You're quick to throw a punch? So is she!

You two do learn quickly that it's not the best idea to only egg each other on. It doesn't always go well when you keep throwing each other's impulse control out the window every time something happens

You'll eventually perfect the art of taking turns reeling each other in. Though sometimes you play rock-paper-scissors for the chance to demolish an especially annoying person

Being with her takes "partner in crime" to a whole new level

It's a good thing you have both Nadia and Julian willing to smooth things over with their negotiating skills if you both blow up at the same time

She never drew a connection between you and the Devil - you were too busy dealing with her Aunt Tasya

You did one day confess it to her when it was really getting to you

She doesn't think it's any bigger of a deal than you say it is. As far as she's concerned, you are you, and that's who she loves

Lucio

Honestly, it's an ongoing struggle for him not to be jealous of you

You have the same tendencies he does. You have the same affiliation he does. You were even offered a deal without having to seek it out, and he knows for a fact that it was tempting

And yet, you chose to say no

At the same time, it's a whole lot easier to accept help from you because he knows it comes from someone who understands and chooses to love him anyways

He chooses to be inspired by you instead

And he adores your comfort level with combat. You want a fight? He is so down for a fight. Say the word and he'll drop everything for a match

Let's just say that it's a good thing you two are in the career path that you are in, because if you didn't both have the chance to let off steam for a good cause that often it would be a recipe for disaster

Some people get concerned because of how quick you two are to argue with each other, but it actually works pretty well because you both get where the other is coming from and are quick to forgive

"If you're free" he says as if he didn't start this sentence with "we" as if if he didn't start this entire conversation fully assuming that he and mc would be hanging out

Asra

Upon your first meeting, he thought they were part of an elaborate costume since you met during a Masquerade

But when you continued to meet and they got to know you more they realized those wings were very real

He was so curious at first, but I think he’d be hesitant to ask many questions for fear of making you uncomfortable or scaring you off

They got used to them quickly and just accepted that your wings were a part of you like an arm or leg 

When you both lived together, he learned how to move around them while working with you

Helping you clean and groom them was one of your favorite ways to bond

Post Plague, your wings were in poor condition, but Asra could no longer help you groom them; it would send you straight into a catatonic state, to relive such tender and intimate moments; you’d remember too much and you’d be in agony

He had to painstakingly teach you how to care for your wings, how to stretch them out and exercise them because like any muscle they could atrophy

After the whole mess with Lucio and The Devil was done, he was overjoyed to be able to care for your wings again

It always felt very intimate and after having to leave you so much, he was desperate to reform a bond with you as equals and not caretaker/patient 

Prime time for cuddles, which they take full advantage of

  Had no clue while you were working under him in his clinic

They were hidden under the plague doctor uniform you had to wear to avoid getting sick

He most likely didn't find out, whether you hid them or not, until the end of the whole fiasco 

Both of you were too busy trying to survive for him to notice and for you to notice he hadn't yet 

As soon as he did notice, he was shocked

Bro was NOT expecting that

He kind of wants to study your anatomy but is nervous to ask, doesn’t want to sound weird or scare you off

Briefly gets flashbacks to Valdemar ‘studying’ the corpses during the height of the plague 

He’s nervous around your wings because he doesn’t want to make you uncomfortable; he is as stiff as a board and tense whenever you stretch them out

He loves you too much to scare you off

Once you give him permission to touch them, he relaxes a lot more

He really likes to run his hands through the soft feathers at night when the day is done and he can just relax and spend time with his lover

Malak tries to groom you like you’re his kid

Nadia

She didn’t notice during your first meeting, she was exhausted and running on adrenaline when she just started banging on your door

The following day though, when you came to the Palace, she did realize and she was shocked; she’d never seen anyone like you before 

First things first, she wanted to talk to you about your needs and how she could best accommodate you as your host

She’s very mindful of them and is as respectful as possible but she’s also so so curious and is practically begging (mentally) for permission to touch them

Every outfit she has made for you is made with your wings in mind

She admires them a lot, she thinks they’re beautiful 

Whenever you two bathe together or whenever she has enough free time she sits down with you to groom them and make sure they’re nice and pampered 

It’ll take her a while to muster up the courage to ask if you could maybe take her flying but if you say yes she’d be super giddy and excited

Chandra feels jealous for a few minutes before you get to know each other and then she loves you

Muriel

 He didn’t know until the trip south; prior to that he’d do the bare minimum of checking in on you to appease Asra

He had no idea how to address them and just chose not to eventually 

He did feel a sort of kinship with you because he was different and felt ostracized because of it and he saw how the people in your neighborhood avoided you

During the trip and training, if Morga made a negative comment he would glare at her until eventually he got used to your presence enough to actually speak up and tell her to leave you alone

He’s aware of them constantly, whenever he’s around you and he makes sure to never so much as brush against them

You worry he’s nervous around them or thinks they’re weird

In reality, he just wants to respect your boundaries and refuses to touch them until he’s given express permission

Once he is though, he caresses your soft feathers as gently as he can, utter adoration in his eyes

He just melts

His face cycles through a dozen different emotions once you ask for his help with grooming because, on one hand, he wants nothing more than to treat you like he wishes he’d been treated as a child, with love and care

He wants to treat you gently, to hold you and help you

But on the other hand, he’s so scared

His hands are covered in so much blood that he’s so scared of hurting such a delicate part of you

Once you convince him though, grooming becomes his favorite thing to do

The chickens have accepted you as one of your own, they swarm you on sight now

Portia

She was so excited when she first met you

She’d already heard from the Countess that you were a powerful magician, so she had high expectations for you

And then she met you and you had wings? She was over the moon

She immediately grabbed the nearest one and stretched it out a little to get a closer look at the feathers 

Probably startled you a little ngl

You were not expecting that

You’d gotten a large variety of reactions to your wings but never one quite like hers

You probably took a step back and told her to give you your space because not many people are okay with a total stranger just grabbing them randomly 

Over the course of your adventure though, you get more used to her and she gets more used to magic

Once you two start dating she likes to brag a little about how she’s with such a cool magician, she’s very proud of you and of all you’ve accomplished together 

Portia definitely has a pretty thorough self-care routine and she makes sure you do too

this was the kind of stuff levi was afraid of when he first became a dad

but over the years, he's figured out how to deal with these type of situations

levi doesn't immediately go to the child's room, everybody needs to cool off first

then he goes to the room and takes him with you to talk it out

every family has their ups and downs, surely you'll all work this out, right?

he didn't exactly grow up in the best environment, so he might be a little 'clumsy' in the way he solves conflicts

My personal ranking of the the LI's reactions to the upcoming battle

I know I would be a damn mess about all the near-death experiences and want to talk about it. So I've ranked all of our love interests by how well I think they handled your character's obvious trauma!

Starting with the worst...

Pros: Mal, I appreciate that you don't want me to die and want to protect me.

Cons: My guy. My actual primary love interest. I get that you're depressed. I appreciate the honesty. But this is just more pressure! Now I'm responsible for both of our lives!

Pros: Aerin, it's nice that you're not also freaking out. Not about this anyway. That is reassuring. Fighting for the people we care about and each other are strong motivations I can get behind.

Cons: You do not at any point ask if I'm okay. Maybe you don't realize how bad things have been, or you feel like you have no right to ask. And I also don't love 'we might all die tomorrow' coming out mid-make out and immediately before asking if we should take things further. You can just make the offer! Don't act like you wouldn't be into it regardless!

Pros: Valax, I appreciate that you want me to fight back against you. The fact that you wish things were different makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. There are some big obstacles here and I acknowledge that. And you apologize for causing some of the trauma!

Cons: I don't love the energy that we can't figure out a solution. I get that you're very stuck in one way of thinking, but this seems like a great moment to figure something out other than 'We'll wait and see which one of us dies.'

Pros: Nia, I'm very glad you don't want to lose me. And I appreciate the acknowledgment that something might actually manage to kill me this time. I'm perfectly happy be scared together.

Cons: This scene is mostly about making her feel better. Which is fine, a lot of them are. And it's partially MC's fault for not having an option to say, "I'm scared too." But not my favorite.

Pros: Tyril, this is some solid reassurance. You'll be there with me. I'll gladly take that as comfort. Just being with me is probably the best thing to do. It's very practical and in-character.

Cons: I'm slightly confused how you thought armies worked prior to this, but we can get into that another day. As always, you could stand to ask about my feelings more.

Pros: Imtura, I love you. I am so enamored with the way you acknowledge that we could die while not being worried about it. Incredibly reassuring once we get into it.

Cons: You're not in a place to be 100% supportive because you've got your own stuff. But that's life! Overall, excellent work.

Technically I guess they would but ahhhh that’s a hard question to ask. This is why I don’t like ranking my preferences to be honest 🤣 It’s like asking me to rank my friends. I feel like I’m betraying the ones sitting at a lower position somehow haha

Just to be clear, I love more characters than the ones I’ve mentioned. It’s just that rankings are very restrictive, which is why I’m not fond of them in a way. Even if Eisuke and Toshiki would be removed from the ranking, I still love them. There are many different reasons why I love these characters. With some of them, I love everything about them, or their initial characterization, while with others it’s their development, and sometimes it’s the relationship they have with the MC

As for Toshiki, I haven’t read a lot of his stories and RMD content overall, but I know his characterization has a lot to offer. He’s a cutie pie and so very handsome. And the title can be quite funny or angsty which is to my taste. I put him last since I have read less stories about him.

When it comes to Eisuke, there’s a long history about him that I’m fond of, and I love the KBTBB universe. However with the amount of seasons he got, I couldn’t keep up at some point and stopped reading, and now I don’t know what I’ve read and what I haven’t read yet from him. But when it comes to making art content, I’ve often been inspired by him, and he’s a good character overall, despite the repetitive plots of KBTBB, I love him a lot and I understand that it’s due to marketing that the writers milked content as much as they could. As for the character himself, he’s great and I simply put him at the bottom of the ranking because there are other LIs I read more now that I can keep up with more easily

There are a lot of characters I love and even if they didn’t make it into this made up ranking, that doesn’t mean I don’t love them if that makes sense. I don’t really take rankings very seriously and simply enjoy reading what I like. I’ve started Voltage stories through MLFK, so that title has a special place in my heart and especially Ayato and Taka ❤️

I’m obviously very much obsessed with MK and that’s no surprise, so if I had to add Kei and Yuzu, they would be right under the Boss in the 3rd and 4th positions. It’s the title I read the most because I’m someone who likes to play and buy things I know I can’t be disappointed with. I tend to focus on doing things I love over and over again instead of exploring new things. I didn’t add Kei and Yuzu because since I post so much about MK, people tend to ask me things only about MK and don’t know or forget that I read other titles. I guess I just wanted to show other titles to let people know that I enjoy other characters as well

HLITF is my second favorite title after MK, and that’s because the universe is so original, because Kaga is a freaking great character (that deserves more recognition honestly!), Ayumu’s character development is impressive (I fell in love with the story that showed his past especially), and Tsugaru’s story has so much to offer. You’ll laugh, cry, be scared, feel frustrated because it’s slow burn, and be happy

when I got this ask I was having a creative slump but since the comeback I have been INSPIRED!

so instead of answering it straight up, I'm going to set the scene:

Y/n has never shied away from admitting to being an atiny, mainly through vouching for or promoting ateez when she's doing lives or just posting on socials. She has always made an effort to acknowledge their comebacks and other performances. It almost became an ongoing joke between her and her own fans and some fellow atinys about how she was so dedicated and wished for them to 'notice' her. It got out of hand to the point that interviewers and journalists would bring up the topic and jest about it all, some going as far as asking her who her favorite was and how she got into them.

Unbeknownst to her as well as her fans, she's been noticed by ateez for a long, long time, specifically by Mingi. Nobody really knew about his tiny obsession with her, until he slipped up one day on b.stage, telling the fans to go watch the series she was acting in. There was only mild praise about her performance, masking the post as a promotion for the series more than her.

Fans already began to stir, and y/n of course, couldn't help but find out about this small recommendation, but she played it cool, merely stating that she was 'honored' to have such an opportunity to be mentioned by the people she respected and thought so highly of.

Fans adored the small interaction, her fans, in particular, cheering her on and congratulating her.

Seeing the reaction, Mingi was already losing his shit, not realizing that she would get wind of the news so quickly. Oddly enough, it only spurred him on against his better judgment to then make yet another post about another series she happened to act in, now being more brazen about his affinity towards her, adding screenshots or photos of her, leaving comments like "so pretty," "wow" "she acts so well ㅜㅜ".

Fans immediately began to investigate (read: interrogate) Mingi, asking him if he liked her or if she was his celebrity crush and such. To fans' concern, y/n went more radio silent about the whole thing, opting to only speak about promotional or professional things, avoiding ateez as a topic of conversation as best as she can.

While it was her manager who warned against making too many comments, she was also going through some sort of euphoric high that she didn't want to let out in case it scared ateez away. Was that a rational concept? no. Will she still avoid speaking of ateez in fear of being 'unprofessional' and over-rambling or fangirling a bit 'too much' over Mingi? yes.

This is the first time it was truly her moment to shine. She may have had a lead role before, but this was different. This was cute, hot, talented Mingi from Ateez acknowledging and complimenting her out in the open even though that could totally be a risk to his career. The stakes were high! (not really, but hey, she was an actress for a reason - the natural drama).

It was just a matter of contacting him...but how? It was difficult not to overthink how to go about this matter. She could just contact him through social media but, ateez share their sns. She could try and approach him at award shows but the chances of even being at the same one are low.

Good thing she didn't have to do much before the perfect opportunity presented itself right at her doorstep in the form of a phone call from a variety show mc with whom she once worked.

They apparently phoned with the intention of letting Mingi say hi to her (later revealed on the aired episode, his presumed crush). He and who she assumed to be some other hosts were snickering as Mingi timidly said a hello, asking how she was and wishing her well.

It was painfully strange to hear what was occurring on the other side of the call, an overall ruckus, alongside squeals and mumbles, some that definitely sounded like Mingi when the MC was asking her permission to give Mingi her number, to which of course she wouldn't dare deny.

There were a few days that went by, making her nervous about the whole ordeal; wondering if they ever did give Mingi her number or if he even planned to text her.

But one magnificent notification later, she was delightfully greeted by an awkward text.

Mingi had been a nervous wreck since the show. Not only was he nervous for it to air in the first place, but having the hosts put him on the spot like that was a seriously anxiety-provoking experience, and one he thoroughly hopes he never has to go through again.

The slight tension that came with learning and speaking to a new person floated away steadily over the next few days as they continued to text non-stop, peeling down barriers and steadily changing the relationship. It no longer was able to be classified as a simple acquaintanceship and parasocial crush.

Let's not lie, people would be ecstatic about the interactions initially, especially some solid fans, but there would be extreme backlash after maybe the second encounter. The first time you go on a date with Mingi could be overlooked, but if it becomes consistent, it could cause quite the stir for better or for worse.

Personally, most atiny I have encountered are chill, so perhaps the backlash wouldn't be as strong, but there definitely will be some sort of it, because that's the unfortunate reality that follows being in the public eye as well as having a job that requires you to sell dreams and be the 'unattainable attainable'
