Have y'all ever wondered: WHEN the HELL were Roshan and Tremaine WILDCARDS?

I think I got that figured out

And a few other things

TL;DR They were Wildcards in 2023, Tremaine left the Riders around 2024. This post has a lot of me rambling about character timeline shit and me attempting to do simple math in my head, lots of guesstimating. So if you're interested go right ahead

For about a month after reading Warcross, I thought that Roshan and Tremaine were wildcards previous year...buuuut it was definitely way longer than that

In Warcross Emika names off the previous three first pick Wildcards. This is all based on the assumption that the books 100% take place in 2027. So I'm gonna start there, the list goes as follows.

Emika Chen--2027

Ana Carolina Santos--2026

Penn Wachowski--2025

Kento Park--2024

If Roshan was also one of the first picks, he and Tremaine would have had to have been Wildcards in 2023 or earlier. I personally think that this year would have been 2023, because the amount of time in between makes so much more sense based on this. That feels so fucking weird to say I know but it really makes sense.

Also, my guess is that Warcross lasts from about mid/late January to late March. Warcross does canonically last only a few months, so that seems like a reasonable amount of time. And also with the weather...it just makes a lot of sense to me, but if you have anything to counter that then go right ahead! I'm happy to listen. :)

I'm gonna ramble about Tremaine now.

When he was talking to Emika, we all know that he said his drug addiction lasted about a year. That's waaay past how long Warcross season lasts. And yes, I'm calling it Warcross season now. So I feel like he would have started the whole thing near the end of his first Warcross season...but it continued throughout the year and into the next season.

So, if my math is right, Tremaine would have gotten upset, broken up with Roshan, and left the Riders, etc...in 2024. And according to my assumption of Warcross season months, I think he would have left sometime in February.

Based on all of this info, Roshan and Tremaine were broken up for at least three years.

And that's fucking sad.

If just average SUNY I think

Hammie: UT Austin

Tremaine: some school in the UK. But if American school (hypothetically) Cal tech. He’s smart

But average would be like Virginia Tech or sum top 100 tech school

Roshan: Cambridge? Or some other prestigious college in the UK He’s from a well off background.

U.S. edition: brown

ASU; or wake forest

[I think you get by now I’m just bs-ing my guesses I know absolutely nothing about colleges]

Keira: some small liberal arts college in Manhattan

I know that Fandom is a bad website and all but because this website has pages that are the first things to pop up when you search for a character I'm gonna be editing these and adding info like hell for the Marie Lu ones.

I added a lot to the Warcross one a few months ago

Actually became admin on that wiki and made it a whole lot easier to navigate a few months ago because it was pissing me off how little there was.

Sigh I'm just gonna ignore the fact that the website as a whole is shit and start contributing again anyway, the tiny fandoms need it.
