I'm actually rather surprised that not a single one of the boys made top three. but then again, I suppose the large number of straight men that play this game are not as visible in fan spaces as us lgbt. That is...a fortunate thing, though, I'd argue.

#bg3 #thoughts about media #with how much you see of a certain little elf- I figured he'd make the top three. but I see I figured wrong! #the top classes do not surprise me at all. #I take great interest in strategy when it comes to dbd. so I pay the same attention to strategy in bg3. #the top three classes are some of the best classes to choose for combat. #theeeen the choices stray back into RP territory. #rogue has it's uses...but less so than warlock I'd argue. #I'd say wizard and cleric are stronger than rogue too. #hell. I multiclass star into wizard once he's gotten his lvl 3 thief perks. in part for tav lore reasons. in part to maximise his strengths #stealth just isn't consistent enough in this game to pay off. in my opinion. #like the best classes I'd say are sorcerer / paladin / bard / warlock. #fighter is good for multiclassing to gain action surge. and multiclassing into war/tempest cleric can be useful too. #but fully levelling either seems pointless imo. #the race choices are 100% because of RP reasons. the stats do not whatsoever show any influence from min/maxing stats and abilities. #if that were the case. half-orc would be the top. halfing. and drow. I think duegar is good too? #tiefling being up there isn't actually TOO bad either. they are decent for mage classes. #CANNOT believe evoker wizard is the most popular though. other subclasses have better perks imo. #I also think thief is the best subclass of rogue. extra bonus action? and falling damage reduction/cannot fall prone from falling? SO good. #also my sincere congrats to the 464 maniacs who've already destroyed honour mode. you people are bananas.

The mighty dragon tried once again to free himself, heaving with all his strength against his prison. But the rocks held firm, and no matter how his claws tore at the earth - turning soil and stone alike - he could not slip free. With a frustrated huff that shook the trees nearby, the young brass dragon slumped his body to the ground, leaving his lower half still trapped in the hillside tunnel he’d tried to squeeze through.

Nearby, just outside the reach of scraping claws, a figure shifted their position on a roadside fence rail, and leaned their elbows over their knees.

“I told you you couldn’t fit through like that.” Michael said with a smirk he didn’t bother to hide. The dragon narrowed yellow eyes at the amused human, and snorted in his direction.

“Oh, shut up….” Vashael grumbled irritably.

For years a secret war was being fought in the supernatural world. The humans were clueless of these battles, unaware to the sorts of nightmarish creatures wreaking havoc upon each other just under their noses. It came as a surprise to many when a few species rising to power during the war were willing to put aside their differences and form a safe haven for their species.

Arete had become that safe haven, a home for wayward supernaturals in search of peace. Of the founding families, there are a variety of creatures hidden amongst them. Witches, warlocks, werewolves, and humans all nestled together in a single town.

The werewolves settled down in the mountains, forming the Shadowpeak Pack, named such because on bright days the mountains cover the town in its shadow. As old as the town itself, the Shadowpeak pack has remained close to tradition and strict in it's rules, especially in it's opinions on rogues. While the witches chose to live in town limits with the humans and maintain the peace. The warlocks hunted them in the cover of darkness, never truly following the peace accords reached between the three species.

It wasn't until what’s now known as Louisiana switched ownership that any overt conflict had ever come across the town. With the newest American settlers, came the arrival of another species: vampires.
