"Suicide Squad: Kill Arkham Asylum" Goes on Sale in February 2024
Tumblr media
DC Comics' Suicide Squad: Kill Arkham Asylum, the prequel to the Rocksteady and Warner Bros. game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, will go on sale in February 2024.
Suicide Squad: Kill Arkham Asylum hails from writer John Layman and artist Jesús Hervás. The comic is rated for readers 17+. "Waller has taken control of the recently rebuilt Arkham Asylum, and her brutal tactics and merciless methods have led to the most secure facility Gotham City has ever seen. Waller’s true intentions are revealed, however, when the cell doors are opened, resulting in a free-for-all death match among Arkham’s patients, with the strongest, smartest, and most ruthless survivors tapped to serve her in a new Suicide Squad." (DC Comics)
Each print issue of Suicide Squad: Kill Arkham Asylum will include a code redeemable for a bonus in-game digital item for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. These codes are also available day-and-date to paid DC Universe Infinite annual and ultra subscribers.
Suicide Squad: Kill Arkham Asylum #1 (of 5) goes on sale on February 6, 2024.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League goes on sale for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on February 2, 2024.

Do you think Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League bombing will convince studios to focus on single player superhero games (Superman, Justice League, Green Lantern maybe revive Damian project)? Or it might kill any superhero games prospects in general?
Marvel isn't stopping with their games, as always DC is a question mark. Zaslav keeps preaching that they're pivoting to GAAS for all their games. Maybe two flops will cause them to reassess but I'm not hopeful. Yet WW is said to not be a GAAS and that game remains in dev, maybe there's cause to be optimistic. Now I'm really curious what WBM is making, we know it's a DC game. Did WB see the writing on the wall and task them to return to form with a single player solo hero game? Or do they keep chasing that cash cow? Better not have to wait another 8 years to find out.

This is the news that shocked and relief us. Just to think after 👊MultiVersus had a good opening beta run in 2022; only to have significant drops from players later on.
I’m worried that’s the case if it means for the servers will go down with the ship. 😔
Though looks like for now it’ll be scheduled for shutting down on June. 25th, but saving for its full version re-release for early next year. Can’t believe, huh? I know it was disappointing for awhile til we can boost up again for next year. At least hoping the devs can figure things out to bring something big soon. As of now, we're only have more months away before we're landing in June.

A Mortal Kombat Thought
You know what just... makes sense?
Merging Chaosrealm with Seido (the Realm of Order), making Havik a Seidan, thus giving him a closer relation to Hotaru to establish a clash of their ideals. Chaosrealm on it's own, as a world in the Mortal Kombat series, is pretty expendable.
Speaking of expendable things, out of the Seidan characters, I think we'll be fine never seeing Dairou again. Keep Darrius, though.
