Saw a post today that said that the eyeballs on the covers of the Shatter Me series (main books) transition from Juliette’s eyes to Aaron’s. I think this is wrong, because in Believe Me, Aaron mentions how Juliette’s eyes change hue based on the light level around them. The eyes on the covers go from being deep blue at the beginning, when Juliette is in the asylum/first on Aaron’s base, to being more green in Restore Me and Defy Me, when Juliette is the happiest in all of the main books. They go back to being a mix of blue and green in Imagine Me when Juliette is kidnapped, but also gets closure for her sister. The eyes aren’t Juliette’s morphing into Aaron’s, they are all Juliette’s eyes, changing hues based on the metaphorical “light” that she feels in each book.
