tourists get to enter palestine, lounge on our beaches, live on our land, eat our food, and explore our (stolen) art, style, and culture. but refugee palestinians who were kicked out of their homes, palestinians who left because they didn’t want their kids to live under apartheid, palestinians whose only options were to flee or get massacred- they barely ever get to enter their homeland again. most are never allowed to even go back.

how is that fair? that other people get to enter OUR country, live on OUR land, share OUR culture, but WE were never given the chance to? how can you just sit by and watch this happen without feeling disgust and pain in your heart for not even speaking up about it? the least anyone could do is just speak up. just say something. please.

thinking about dream learning to cook from human recipes and trial and error so that he can cook something in return for hob, who has always had a place at his table for dream

dream reads that things like individual oven temperature can affect cooking times, so he may or may not replicate hob’s little kitchen for himself in the dreaming (so that he can learn the exact idiosyncrasies of hob’s cooking appliances… and if it’s one of the coziest places dream has found, well… no one has to know that dream sometimes just spends time in that little pocket of the dreaming, when he feels like he’s imposed enough on hob’s company in the waking…)

but for everything else, he doesn’t use any “cheats” - he spends months, whenever he’s not attending to his realm, learning to cook from the basics as though he were a human, so he can really grasp the effort it takes and understand the techniques. and then he goes shopping at a cooking supply store in the waking world, and everyone is like, “who is this goth who looks like he’s never even seen a potato before, let alone stepped foot in a kitchen to cook?” and asks for fancy knives and all-clad pans…

hob is completely none the wiser about all of this plotting of dream’s - they just continue dating as usual - until one day he walks into his own flat, which smells amazing, and finds dream in his kitchen, halfway through a julia child recipe in t-shirt and jeans and bare feet, and listening to bach

hob has to admit he sort of expected dream not to know his way around a kitchen (even if he doesn’t say this out loud), so when dream lets him know how long he’s been learning to prepare for this moment hob has a real “in case there was any doubt this was the love of my life…” situation

Also I stole this ask just so I can post this fuggin weirdo I made smhh (I raise from the dead just to post an oc again LMAOAOAOAO)

Hopefully this will be my last one in a long while I can live with 7 fuggin wh characters HHFHFUDJSNKSSJ- well- technically 8 if you include Betsy-

But to keep it (somewhat) short and sweet- my loser- a ye ol Milkman- Zachary Milksop (chronically lactose intolerant) and Betsy (a lil mascot moo sentient puppet)

Another character made almost spur in the moment again (like Mari) though thankfully not another bUG, but just some average human smhh. He’s a really simple guy, a loser, is as interesting as normal milk— he’s just the ye ol milkman who delivers you that gud shid smhh— enjoyer of the finer things in life (lunchables). A lil flirty and charming (in possibly the cringiest way possible) however he doesn’t really seem to pick up anyone besides the local cows that constantly harass him (and eats his pants). He enjoys watching them though, from v e r y m u c h afar——

hes just kinda, “that guy”

Also Betsy- a very sweet woman! She always greets everyone and has the friendliest extroverted personality ever! Always the type to bring (albeit tiny) gifts for her favorite neighbors and always leads when talking to anyone. Not like she would allow Zach to say anything anyway, she hates his polyester guts (and only him smhh)
