one (understandably) underappreciated thing about madara is that he's one of the oldest characters in the series,,,, yet even when he's literally a wrinkly old caveman on life support he never switches from using ore to using washi.
almost every other old man character uses washi, and even some of the ones that barely qualify as middle-aged (mr raikage sir you are 47???? hashirama and tobirama are even worse; you cannot tell me either of them made it past 35)
meanwhile madara's all "whatever i'm gonna get revived anyway i don't have to change shit"
soowon’s current state of affairs is so fascinating like he tried so hard to duct tape the leaking boxes for the past arc but he couldnt they completely open now he knows he cant abandon them like compartmentalization completely failed so just how is he holding on like is he having sad girl 3 hours crying sessions daily in the royal tents is he bullet journaling whats the next coping mechanism king
just closed out a live write in the j/s discord server where i wrote almost 4k in like. a day!!!!! it felt so unreal and im just. in awe. bc it was so easy??? validation and appreciation rly are underrated drugs huh
I've found that if I've been in a creative slump in drawing or writing, doing an OC scrapbook has really released the guilt. As in, I have an OC, I am doing a scrapbook journal as if it was them doing it. Very cathartic. Best part is, it's very low pressure, it is literally just for you when you feel very low energy. Just do one or two pages or just as many as you like. It also helps you spend some time away from a screen so you're not doom-scrolling Pinterest for ideas and get distracted by other shiny things.
I was checking to see if one of my older washi tapes was still useable, and there was a tiny strip left that I didn't want to throw away, so I put it on my S Pen...
Idk if this’ll help anyone or if these are even good… just thought of stuff self shipper could do, I guess.
Anywho, here’s a list of things yo,u as a self shipper, can do for fun.
(This will be added onto with time)
Proship/Comship/Anti-Antis DNI
Play Tomodachi Life, make yourself, your main F/O, and then a bunch of family and friends and see how the shenanigans play out.
Play Sims (my choice is 4, but any one will work), same as before but this time you have mods and can control you and your F/O’s however you please.
Make kandi jewelry for each of your F/O’s, whether it’s a bracelet with their name or just a necklace with a color scheme you think fits them.
Purchase something custom from etsy and/or fiverr. These can be care packages, letters, plushies, art pieces, fanfics, maybe you could find someone who does RP asmrs, and my personal favorites an RP or an annotated book.
Look on youtube for asmrs, whether they’re RP, sleeping beside or those muffled playlist scenarios.
For those of is that are age regressor, make a custom deco paci based on your F/O.
Credits to @myselfshipdiary for this one, make a Pinterest board. They can feature fanart, aesthetic images or heck maybe recipes you would cook for them and memes you would show them.
If you have the skills, or heck even if you don’t (life’s too short, try everything, learn new skills), design something based on them. A dress, a cake, a room, a candy platter, a party, an outfit, a plushie, literally anything!
Make a breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner you think they would like! Maybe if you bring your lunch to work, make a bento for yourself that you would send to work with them.
Go on to your online shopping sites and make wishlists of thing you’d think they would want/like.
Do some research on perfume/cologne, and either track down or commission one you think they’d wear. You can do the same for all necessary toiletries if you’d like to take it a step further.
Play around on spotify (or your music service of choice) and make playlists for various scenarios.
Piggybacking of the last one, find a song that you would make their ringtone and think of what their contact name would be in your phone.
Pick out a ring you think would be the engagement/wedding ring they would give you.
Make paper doll's of you/ your self insert and your f/os) along with attachable paper clothes!
If you have access to a printer and a blank notebook/sketchbook along with some glue, you can make a scrapbook with pictures of your f/o(s)! You can also add drawings you made and anything like stickers, washi tape, etc.
This one is digital, edit a transparent of your f/os) into a selfie of yours to make a couples photo! You can print it out and put it in a frame. Also, Dollar Tree sells frames that you can also paint, put stickers on, anything!
There is an app called Social Dummy, create a social media world with you and all your F/O’s on it!
There's a buffet restaurant full of cakes of all sorts- The two most popular ones are the chocolate cake and the cheesecake, but there are many others as well. Cakes are also sorted into two types, ones with a stronger flavor and ones with weaker flavors.
When you enter the restaurant, you get a ticket saying 'typical menu', with one of the popular cakes written on it.
Heterosexual: You eat the cake written on your ticket.
Homosexual: You eat the cake not written on your ticket.
Bisexual: You eat both. It's a buffet, so why not?
Omnisexual: All cakes are great, but you do take note of the flavor before you eat it.
Pansexual: You don't care about what flavor the cake is- Cake is cake. You can even put a blindfold around yourself and eat whatever you feel like.
Polyamorous: You eat two cakes at once, flavor of your choice, because why not? The combination's nice.
Demisexual/demiromantic: You need to know enough about the cake before wanting to eat it. You don't feel the urge to eat random pieces of cake.
Asexual, alloromantic: Cakes with strong flavors aren't to your taste. You go to the line of cakes with weaker flavors and pick one you like.
Asexual, aromantic: Cakes aren't for you. This doesn't mean you hate people who like cakes. You go to a different restaurant and have whatever food you like.
It's that simple. Cakes. Everyone has different preferences, and it's nothing to get worked up about. Basic common sense to simply respect each other, right?
Unfortunately, this isn't what's happening in our world. Just because you eat the cake not written on the ticket, people are condemned, berated, and abused. You're deemed wishy-washy or a fake when you say you like to eat more than one cake. People don't understand when you say weak-flavored cakes are fine- "Why can't you eat the strong ones, then? Those are 'real' cakes!" You're either called a cold-hearted psychopath or swamped with people trying to find you 'the cake' that can 'warm you up' when all you want is no cake.
But I want to tell everyone reading this, you're not alone. Whatever way you want to eat(or not eat) your cake(s), I fully support you. 'Cake is cake', and people who don't like cakes or can't eat them? Cool!
Have a nice day and don't be deterred by whatever may block your way- I'm sending a week full of good luck to you!!!!!! :D
Thanks to Ingek73 for finding this unusual apt. in Amsterdam that spans across 3 buildings. They broke thru the walls of the 3 buildings, highlighted in the photo, that together traverse 5 centuries. 2bds, 2ba - €2.650M / $2.810M
The entrance is in the newest building that was built in the 20th century.
There are stairs and an elevator to the spacious apt.
There's a large walk-in cloak room next to the kitchen.
The kitchen description says that when the cabinets are opened with electric controls, it suddenly becomes a warm space with the special table and bench specifically designed for it. Wish they showed it.
Thru the kitchen doors is the living room space.
I suppose that the steps are here b/c the two buildings' floors didn't line up.
The description also states that this Zen apt.'s design and furnishings are aimed at maintaining a very spacious and minimalist appearance.
The emphasis is on avoiding unnecessary objects and creating an oasis of peace. Most furniture is handmade by craftsmen in Amsterdam and Japan. Each piece is specifically designed for the space and contributes to the overall harmony and aesthetics of the interior.
Natural materials, such as limestone, washi paper, cedar, French oak, American walnut and jute, have been used to create a connection with nature.
French doors create a conservatory-like ambiance. The dining room can be closed off with double doors or kept open in connection with the sitting room when entertaining.
From the dining room there's access to one of the two bedrooms and the hall with adjacent study room.
Both bedrooms have identical bathrooms.
The second bedroom at the rear has a special element that they don't show- a glass window in the dividing wall between the bathrooms can be changed from opaque to transparent at the touch of a button
The front entrance to the apt. is in the building on the right.
The view of the canal from the eight windows makes this apartment rare.
