Hello may we see more pictures of your chihuahua puppy please? It’s so baby 😭💖
Well since you asked nicely!
Tumblr media
This is Sammie! She just turned 7 last month. She's a chihuahua mix, and her mom was adopted as a pregnant stray. She's about twice as big as a purebred chihuahua, but she's still very small. She has a pug's floppy ears and curly tail.

allenpanini: ty for writing this out bc it's so true and rotating in my mind at all times and every time i think about it i start to explode, yr post about the juxtaposition of physical and sexual violence and which one is perceived to be more explicit or shocking too, fuuuuuck, u Get it. csm wears this mask that's like "im sooo immature don't think about me too deeply" and its rly disheartening to me that so many just take it at face value esp when the narrative is so weighty
Genuinely think I have a disease because art that's too good rolls around to making me existentially despair at people's inability to read it and then I have to write posts while gnawing my arms off
washimbembe: I don't read chainsaw man, so I've no context at all. But what you're saying sounds very interesting! I'd love to read like one of those short essays about it, where they give examples from the narrative and talk about the underlying themes, if you ever did something like that.
The reason I'm not a youtube essay guy isn't because I don't want to be, but rather that despair increases every time someone tells me something dismissive and stupid, and comments sections on those are a cesspool. Having said that, "give examples and talk about themes" is a vague enough request that I think I just do that on here every day anyway

How strange. Abyssal elves usually lose this ability shortly after childhood.
Bonus transparent Remmyblob for your transparent Remmyblob needs.

Painting pink-necked green pigeons! On canvas, drawing a sketch with soft watercolor pencils works great. It's easy to erase, and once you paint over it the pencil will dissolve. Since I'm using acrylic paint the first layer of paint to touch it will block the watercolor pencil in place, and if you're working in layers the sketch will end up invisible.

Painting birds process ( ´ ▽ ` ) I've found a method which works for me to paint quickly: > Using acrylic paint, make a monochrome painting with the different values you want (this only works when painting on paper or fabric). > When its dry, use watercolor or inks to color the painting. Because dry acrylic doesn't mix, it's very easy and fast to color each area. This saves a lot of time in having to wait for each individual color to dry in order to finesse the values. And is also a good option if you want to use cheaper materials (paper that can't withstand a lot of water and cheap inks that are difficult to mix with precision). I used food coloring for these! They are very cheap, vibrant colors, and I recommend them if you want to practice color mixing. But you should know they fade with time.
