"Phew, this is a lot more difficult than I thought..." Hyunjin grunted, shifting slightly and squeaking when he almost fell over.
"You guys can do it! I believe in youuuu!" Felix cheered.
"Yeah, that's cause you already fell over." Changbin rolled his eyes, giggling along with Chan.
"This isn't even difficult for you, is it?" Lino whined, glancing at Jisung, who was fully focused, not even paying attention to the conversations surrounding him.
"Nope." Chan and Changbin replied at the same time, the latter shrugging his shoulders even in the plank position, something Minho was not willing to try.
"Seungmin, you okay?" Chan turned, gaping at the younger as he sat in his position, looking unfazed, although beads of sweat had begun to dot his forehead.
"Mhm. We do this for stable singing all the time, right Innie?" Seungmin watched as the maknae grunted lightly, whining as his shoulder almost gave out.
"Mhm-right! OOh...thi-this is pretty hard, huh?" Jeongin squeaked.
"Awe...it's okay Innie. You don't have to do it if you can't..." Minho teased.
"Oh, I can, probably longer than you and Jisung hyung!"
"Really? Cause Hanji doesn't look like he's moving anytime soon."
Jisung whipped his head towards the group at the mention of his name, looking at the others with an innocent expression. "What?"
"Oh, nothing-ow!" Lee Know winced as his wrist gave out lightly.
Chan suggested that Minho take a break. He had been on high alert ever since the last incident.
Jisung had to think fast. He couldn't let twister happen again.
The ace knew the older wouldn't give up, so he decided otherwise.
Try to knock him over.
Jisung suddenly whipped his head towards Minho and gave him the most hilarious expression he could whip up.
The dancer snorted and giggled, and his wrist became weak enough that he finally fell over in mirth.
"HAH! You fell!" Jisung cheered, although Min wasn't too pleased.
"Oh, you wanna play dirty, huh?"
Hannie's eyes widened. He knew that tone all to well.
"Minho, please! This isn't fair!" The ace begged desperately.
"Ooh? I didn't hear a hyung in that sentence, Han Jisung."
"Ooooh, he used the full name! You're fucked, hyung!" Felix giggled in anticipation, apologizing quickly when Chan tsked at the language.
"Hyung! Minho hyung! Honey, Jagi, pl-EHEHEASE!" Han squealed as Minho grabbed at his hips, causing the ace to twist away from the invading fingers.
Jisung's arms had already started to shake, and, feeling sorry for the boy, Chan and Changbin, who were on both sides, extended an arm and grasped the boy's elbows, holding him up.
"NO-HAHAHA! I CAHA-CAHAHAN'T BREEEATHE! STAHAHAP!" Hannie gasped, the tickly fingers dancing across the backs of his thighs like leaves in the cool, fall breeze.
Loud, familiar cackles filled the room, along with adoring coos and teases thrown at the red-faced ace.
"This is what you get for playing dirty!" Minho smiled fondly, making sure the younger couldn't see it.
"I-IHIHI'M SOHOHORRY! OHOHO MYHYHY GOHOHOD NOHOT THEHEHEREEE!" Han absolutely lost it, throwing his entire body to the floor when the fingers attacked his hyper-sensitive knees.
But the older didn't stop, much to Jisung's happiness horror.
"IHI-IHIHIT'S BAHAHAD! SO BAD HYUNG! PLEASE-NOHOHOHOHOHOOO!"
The vengeful dancer only stopped after the smaller went so weak with laughter that he was a limp body on the floor, not even having the energy to squirm.
Just laying there, taking it all. Giggles and snickers still filled the room as Minho slowed the tickles to a stop.
"O-Okay! I quit!" Changbin stood up rather suddenly, running out the room.
"Hm, wonder what's up with him?" Chan grinned, knowing exactly what it was.
"HA! I STILL LASTED LONGER THAN BOTH OF YOU!" Came the maknae's happy cheering.
Tumblr media
omgggg wonder what's up with changbin? 😳
i hope ppl understand the title cuz otherwise that's embarassing hehe 😭

Heywood my friend found my tickle blog... hehe and she wanted me to write one for kuroko no basket.
I'm guessing I forgot there's another good anime I could totally go all out. Neeehehehe
Anyway, enjoy this fic... takes place after the whole series and his birthday episode.
Warning spoilers alert!!
Phantom tickles~
Tumblr media
The generation of miracles decided to hang out again after Kuroko's birthday. Akashi Seichiro has an appointment so he was absent, then Midorima Shintaro rambled about the unlucky cancer situation from fate and also the fact he saw multiple black cats and cawing crows.
Only Murasakibara Atsushi (who claimed to have been, by chance, in Tokyo), Aomime Daiki, Kise Ryota, and Kuroko Tetsuya both huddled in a group discussing nothing but basketball. Many admired the amazing passes of Kuroko, and unsuccessfully, Kise would fumble the ball with that insane speed.
"Ne Kurokochi! (-ichi is a nickname he adds to the people he respects), you really don't look it but your cool"
Kuroko stared blankly but politely bowed. "Am I, thank you"
Aomine chuckled proudly, now spinning the ball. "I know, the kid is nothing like us"
"Like us you, you mean Kurokochin (this guy uses -chin to their names, no idea if its for affection or not) is small," Murasakibara murmured with his drawing voice as he scored after Aomine.
"Oi, have a bit of sensitivity" Kise snapped as he leaned on Kuroko but was startled to see he was gone from the original position and ended up stumbling down on his fours.
"Kukokochi?? Where did you...?"
"I'm here"
The faint sound almost made Aomine shriek as it came from his other side, and Kise seemed to have forgotten his plight as he burst into laughter. "Ahaha hahaha jeez, you scream like a girl Aominechchi"
The invisibility trick was something he purposely intended to use against his friends. He bit back a giggle escaping from his lips.
Seeing this, Kise and Aomine's temporary playful dispute shifted to mischievous grins of joining forces. The time they agree on something is the time one must be wary of these tricksters.
Murasakibara, on the other hand, was difficult to form an alliance in basketball but was fun and cool to be with at other times. Seeing the interesting looks, he felt like joining them as well, dropping the ball back to the hoop with, the ball definitely felt rejection at that moment.
"Oya~ Kise, do you hear a giggle just now?" Aomine started with a playful purr in his voice. This tone startled Kuroko as he knew he was in trouble.
Kise played along "Ahh right? I thought I heard something too, but what's this... a ghost is standing beside us. Did you see that Murasakibarachchi?"
Kurko sensed the tall purple haired guy motioning with a nod. They all had their eyes on him, though they spoke as if he wasn't there. Kuroko, being oblivious to the threat, remained silent but kept his smile gently stretched at their taunting.
"I feel someone standing here"
Kuroko didn't see it coming. Aomine was just next to him, but as if he was using misdirection against him, he was behind him and two prods reached his sides.
He squeaked in shock, now covering his sides with wide puppy blue eyes. Kise snickered before playing his role, too. "Aominechi? Did you sqeak?"
They were good actors, that's what Kuroko could think before feeling repetitive pokes to his ribs by the blond he squirmed away with more giggles now speaking at last "Alrihight that's enohough Kise-kun"
Pretending to raise his voice in shock both the guys moved into to torment his sides mercilessly "There's a giggling little ghost right next to us... the phantom!"
Murasakibara didn't tease but watched temptingly as he waited for his turn. Yet he was more swift than Kuroko had anticipated. The guy was behind him and blocked his routes of escapism, then he consecutively wiggled his finger at his ear and neck making more giggles spill from the smaller guy.
"Guhuhuys... thihihis nohohot fahahahair!"
"Oh, the tiny ghost speaknof injustice?" Aomine chuckled, entirely motivated to wreck his left side and ribs."Who was it that used his lack of presence unfairly?"
"SOhohoorry? I cohohouldnt hehehelp it" his adorably leaned back on the squishy large Murasakibara who couldn't help feating on his laughter. He could handle Kuroko's sweet laughter over sweets for sure.
"Aww, that's cute," Kise grinned before wiggling his fingers teasingly, "But for ghosts like you phantom tickles are a remedy"
His laughter increased in volume and he slide on the court curling against the big buy Murasakibara who stopped his assault mercifully. The two monsters that should never joined forces ended destroying Kuroko.
"AHAHAHA PLEHEHEHASE! NOHOHOT THEHEHERE!"
His stomach was specifically weak, Aomine looked like villain as he did the opposite. Kise seemed more motivated to get Kuroko. They haven't even realised how time flew as they decides to release his torment.
His teary blue eyes and flushed face made them want to ruffle his hair.
"Testu, you OK?" The dark blue haired guy asked when he gave a mild poke to make him move, but he flinched with a giggle."Mehehean... but I ahaham"
"Your lack of presence is to blame" kise fist bumped his shoulder and noticed Kuroko giving a bright smile "Yeah, but..."
Looking up at the crimson twilight drawing in, he said, "Let's do this again with Akashi-kun and Midorima-kun"
Kise playfully glared "You mean tickle you to bits?"
Blushing, he crawled away before another attack to could commence "No I mean hanging out"
Aomine pulled him under his arm which Kuroko almost tried to escaping, worried about beign tickled but now following his eyes, even the tall guy was staring at the sky with him, "Of course, idiot"
Murasakibara wordlessly joined their huddle and Kise jumped in only to which Aomine reacted by pushing his face ans arguing.
The shove and push continued along with Kuroko's genuine laughter as he watched them only to see Murasakibara worsening the situation by complaining of his undying hunger.
The phantom sixth man was glad to relive his middle school time again.

The Freedom of Expression: Vol 10 - Watching a Hanshin game.
J: Ahh, I see..
T: They need to stop this one.
J: Oh, really? So, this is a crucial moment?
K: Yeah, it is.
J: Oh, hey, hey, we are on air already!!
K: I know, haha.
J: You knew? haha. Aren't we getting too engrossed in the game?
K: No, no, no, haha. This is an important moment.
J: We didn't even do the opening greeting...
T: No, this is more important than doing the greeting.
J: Okay!
K: Yeh, just this part...its a bit difficult now.
J: Ok, everyone, this part is too important to do the opening greeting, sorry.
T: Its 1 out, bases loaded. Look, this is crucial.
J: Ok, we're all in serious mode here. Sorry about this, we'll do the greeting in a minute.
T: Lets see if the ace, Aoyagi can handle this.
J: 1 out is quite something though isn't it?
K: Yeh.
*They watch with anticipation*
T, J, K: Ohhhh!
T: That was close to hitting his body.
J: Leader, don't you think the ace had a bit of tension in his shoulder...just by looking at that quick shot?
K: Mm, yeah.
J: This is the most important point for which to predict the rest of the game...Oh, this is getting a kind of Yokomizo (?) air to it...
K: No, keep talking.
J: It's okay?
K: Yeah.
J: Well, Im not very knowledgeable about baseball, but today we are watching a game between Hanshin, and the Yokohama Baystars. Its one of the games to decide 2nd and 3rd spot in the league. At the moment, Hanshin are pitching, they are in defense, in the third innings...Aoyagi swings...he throws...
T, J, K: Ahhh!
J: Ahhh, it wasn't a double play....but Aoyagi's shoulder looked a bit tense, didn't it?!
K: It did, yeah. He's smiling though, haha.
J: It was a groundout, but his throw to the catcher was lined up! This was such a great chance for a double play! The catcher panicked a bit, and the chance was lost. Home is out, so now its 2 out, bases loaded. Its still a tight situation, but with one more out, the flow might change from here.
T: Kaoru, you are serious about this!
K: Haha, no, Im just trying to watch.
J: I think we should all pay attention to this part, but yes, its the fight for 2nd and 3rd spot, continuing with 2 out, bases loaded. Who is this batter?
K: Maki
J: Maki?
K: Haha, I forgot to say senshu (*senshu=player. This is used in place of -san for sports players, e.g. Maki-senshu. Kaoru just said 'Maki'*)
J: He just took a big swing. Tasai, what kind of throw was that?
T: That was a curve ball.
J: Oh yeah, thats right, I have these dubious objects here with me today too (*electric massage devices*). Well, when we say we are watching baseball today, we aren't showing the game on your screens, but this stream will be more than us just watching the game. We have various ideas in store for you, to make it easier to watch to the end. So even for people who aren't interested in baseball, or for people who don't understand it, we have a lot in store for you, as well as being able to watch Kaoru supporting the team. So, the count at the moment is 1 strike, 1 ball, continuing with 2 out, bases loaded.
T: There's a comment saying, 'Look how seriously Kaoru is placing his left hand'
K: Yeh, Im tense, ha.
J: Leader is tense! ..(*watching the pitch*)..Oh, that was a ball. The batter was paying attention. Aoyagi did it without realising.
T: Hm, his shoulder does look a bit stiff.
J: It does, doesn't it?! This pitcher, Aoyagi, he is an ace, right? What are his qualities as a pitcher?
T: You should ask Kaoru-aniki this.
J: Aniki, what would you say?
K: (*watching*) Hang on...
T: Hahaha
J: Haha, you really are taking this seriously! Ah, did the batter start running?
K: No
J: Ah, the balls are leading...1 strike, 3 balls. So, if the next throw is a ball, will that mean a walk?
K: Yeah, oh, you do know a lot.
J: Well, at least I know about walks. Uh, everyone, look at this board behind me. At the moment Yokohama have one point, and Hanshin have one point. Its 1-1. We're in the third innings with bases loaded. Right now, we've had three balls..
T: It would be good if he could get a strike with a curve ball here. He doesnt usually throw a ball, even with a straight throw (??)
J: I see. Leader is focusing right now. No one is more serious than him about this.
*They watch*
J: Agh, oh! The batter is out?!
K: Yep, he's out.
*applause*
J: Aoyagi did it! They had bases loaded in the third innings on defense!
T: Okay, Kaoru, shall we get started now?
K: Yes, haha, this is The Freedom of Expression on our Niconico channel, Im Kaoru from Dir en grey.
J: And Im Joe Yokomizo.
T:And Im Tasai from Tokyo Sports and Keiba web.
*applause*
J: Okay, at last, Leader...
K: Ah, we finally got started...
T: At last, haha
K: Yes, here we are.
J: Well, Kaoru, you've been saying for a long time that you wanted to watch a Hanshin game live like this, so we've chosen this time to do it. But you are really watching seriously, aren't you?
K: Yeh, I am. But that was a really great moment! It was a critical time.
J: Well, he surpassed this crunch, so from here we might see more of a dive-in. So, as I explained before, we are broadcasting this stream while we watch the match between Hanshin Tigers and Yokohama Baystars, but for people who like baseball, you can find it on certain channels and watch it with us if you like.
T: So we feel like we are watching it together, right?
J: Yes, and I have this board behind me on which I will write down the score in real time. And, as I said before, we also have lots planned so that people who have no interest in baseball can also enjoy this stream just as much as the baseball fans. So everyone, please stay with us till the end. We would also love lots of comments from viewers, so any messages of suppport for Hanshin, questions about baseball, anything is ok, thoughts about this show, anything...please keep sending comments. Anyone using twitter can use the tag TFOE. The first part of the stream is free for anyone to watch, but the second part is for members only. If you become a channel member, you can watch this stream in the archives as much as you like for one year, and also enjoy videos for members only. So please join, using the link at the top of the screen, and enjoy watching to the end today.
T: Joe, look at what Kaoru is wea...
K: You know, I didn't say anything because Joe was explaining the important stuff, but Aoyagi just(did something to the new pitcher???)
J: All on his own!
T: Kaoru was so excited! Look how happily he was pointing to the blue link!
K: hahaha
J: So, like, when a pitcher bats...'cause he is number 9, right? It's number 1 after him, right?
K: Yeah.
J: Thats good, isn't it? Because number 1 is usually the fastest runner, aren't they?
K: Yeah.
T: Hey, Joe. Look at what Kaoru is wearing!
J: Oh, of course! Leader, stand up for a min.
*Kaoru stands up, and models his happi coat*
J: Oh, look! Lets have a look at the back too. There's a tiger on the back for the Hanshin Tigers, and then DIR EN GREY on the sleeves. Kaoru is in 100% fan mode!
K: Hahaha
T: *reading comments* 'I want you to sell this again'. When did you actually make this?
K: It was about 4 or 5 years ago.
J: Didn't we have this happi coat on this show before? On the youtube channel?
K: No, we had this once when we did Tora no ana that time.
J: Oh right, yes. I thought I remembered it from somewhere.
*Everyone suddenly looks at the baseball game*
J: Ah! Agh!!
K: Haha
T: Nakano!
J: I dont know a lot about baseball, so could someone tell me what just happened? Sorry.
K: I didnt see all of it.
J: Yeh, we were too bust talking about the happi coat.
T: Probably he did a slash bunt..
J: Whats a slash bunt?
T: Its where they hit instead of bunt, I mean, I didnt see it properly either..
J: Oh look, a playback... *they all watch* Ah, he hit it, and (??something about a ground ball to second??) Was that a double play?
K: Yeah, it was.
J: Ah ah ah ah.
T: But it wasn't ?????
J: Well, Aoyagi was the only runner with no outs, but when he got back to the batter's spot, it was a double play.
K: Yeah.
J: Ah, what a shame, but we still have more to see in the offense during the third innings.
T: I wonder how this game will turn out.
J: Yeah, well, actually I wanna get both your predictions about which team you think is gonna win. First I want a prediction for the final score, then the winning team. So, Leader, what do you think?
K: Well, its 1-1 at the moment, isn't it?
J: Whats your impression from watching so far?
T: Someone sent a message saying, 'Kaoru, did you have your hair cut?'
K: Well, uh..haha...yes.
J: Thats not what we're taking about! We have to focus now.
K: Yeah...
J: Someone commented 4-3 to Hanshin.
K: Hm, yeh. The Baystars are strong too, right? Hmm, well I can only predict that Hanshin will win, but...hmm, yeah...I want them to score points...I'll say 5-3 to Hanshin.
J: Actually, can I just ask who that Baystars pitcher was?
K: Who was it again?
T: Yeah, who was it? Today's starter...I'll just check.
J: So, anyway, at the end of the third innings Hanshin also got zero points during the offense. So the score still stands at 1-1.
T: Ah, it was Kamichatani.
K: Ahh.
J: Kamichatani? His name is Kamichatani?! Ehhh?!
K: Hahaha
J: Oh yes, people are saying in the comments that it was Kamichatani san.
T: The viewers know, there was no need for me to check, they will tell us in the comments.
J: Aren't you a past baseball reporter though?
T: Haha, yeh, but...
J: Uh, is Kamichatani the Baystars' ace?
K: No, he's not the ace.
T: But he doing well, isn't he?
J: I see...Kamichatani...Leader, so you predicted 5-3 to Hanshin?
K: Yeah.
J: Ok, Reporter Tasai, from Tokyo Sports?
T: A 1-1 draw in the 12th innings.
J: Eh?! Are you sure?!
T: Well, we are streaming till 11pm, so..
J: Ah, ok.
T: That would be good for the people watching us.
J: I see. But this is quite important timing for this game, isn't it?
T: Yeah, Hanshin have 6 games left before the Climax, and The Giants and Hiroshima are in tied 3rd place at the moment, so the results of other games are going to be of some interest today.
J: I see.
K: They can't lose, Hanshin..they only have a few games left.
J: How many?
K: Six.
T: Yeah, six including today.
J: Ah, and teams like The Giants, or Hiroshima etc have a lot of games left?
K: Yeah, they have a lot.
J: Ah, so if The Giants or Hiroshima were to lose the odd game, they would still have a chance at winning the league, but if Hanshin lost a game, now they couldn't win it.
K: Yeah, they couldn't.
J: Well, ok, 5-3 then. Oh, by the way *pointing to score board*, Yokohama got the first point here, and then Hanshin scored a point after that. Is there anything of note to say about this?
K: Well, the first point was down to the home run by Sano.
J: I see. So, Leader, you are saying 5-3 to Hanshin...
T: Joe, what about you?
J: Me? I don't know...3-1 to Hanshin.
T: Thats more likely to happen, haha.
K: Yeh, haha.
J: Yeah, I thought about 3-1. Just by looking at it, it doesn't look like its gonna be much of a slugfest.
K: But all the bases were loaded earlier, haha.
J: Well, yeah, haha. Maybe it will turn into a slugfest. But im gonna go for 3-1. I mean, just as a prediction, who do you think is gonna get a home run, Kaoru? Or who do you want to get a home run?
K: Well, I want them all to. It would be the most interesting if Aoyagi did though.
T: Also, Sato Teruaki, right?
J: Sato Teruaki..Im gonna remember that name. Ive come totally unprepared today. So, Sato Teruaki is the batter to watch for Hanshin?
T: Yeah.
K: Hmm yeh, Sato...Who else?....Oyama, Chikamoto...Is Harada there too today? But none of them have been very lucky recently.
J: Ahh. One comment says, 'I can remember loads of baseball stuff today'.
T: Ah, 'Oyama is in bad condition recently'
J: Oh, what do you think?
K: Well, I wouldn't say he's been in good condition.
J: Strictly speaking, is there anything else other than home runs, which you'd like to see in this game?
T: Joe, what should we do if our predictions are wrong? What should we do if they are right?
J: If they are right?...Well, there's a yakiniku restaurant downstairs...
K: Oh, thats a yakiniku restaurant?!
J: Yes, there's a yakiniku restaurant under this studio. I thought we might get yakiniku brought up here!
K: Haha, it was yakiniku, wasn't it?
J: Like, we should use some of our expenses on that!
K: Hahaha
J: If any of our predictions are right, we should go there.
K: It had quite an unpretentious feel about it.
J: Yeah, like, as if you could go there for ¥3000 per person! You could normally be paying over ¥10,000 per person in Roppongi.
K: Yeah.
J: I don't think the yakiniku downstairs would charge that much.
K: Haha, I like that, 'The yakiniku downstairs'.
J: Like, for whoever wins, the other two would take him for yakiniku.
T: Ah, thats a good idea. But whats that thing in front of you Joe?
J: Ah, this? *picks up electric massage wand* Ah, this caused some controversy last time, heh. How do I turn it on again? Ah, there. This noise, haha. Its the so-called electronic massager.
T: No, no...I mean, yeh, yeh, yeh.
K: Hahaha.
J: Im not mistaken am I?
K: No, thats right, haha.
J: We have this here again today. What should we do with this?
T: Well, it says in the notes that if Hanshin win, we should give it to Kaoru as a present.
J: But isn't yakiniku better?
T: For sure, haha.
J: I want to keep this massager!
K: You want it? haha.
J: Yeah, my shoulders need it. Kaoru, do you get tight shoulders?
K: Nah, Im ok.
J: Well, I am the oldest...
K: So, if Hanshin win, you can have it?
J: How about that? If Hanshin win, I'll take this home with me?
T: Thats ok with me.
J: Ah, this is another one. This feels so good, I was using this the whole time before we went live. Ok, I'll have these if Hanshin win. And Kaoru, the staff can buy yakiniku for you.
K: Hahaha
J: *creepy voice* That works, right?! If this company spent that much at the Olympics, they can afford this!
K: haha!
T: Joe, you're gonna get us banned!
J: Shouldn't I say that? But still, you know?...Haha, im not even drunk yet! This is getting too dangerous. But anyway, before the game has anymore developments, I'd like us to talk about a few bits of baseball vocab for those of you who dont know much about baseball, but want to know more. As the game continues, we might hear a lot of specialist vocab, even from Kaoru and Tasai, so we should use this time to explain some of it.
T: Are there any specific words or phrases that only Tigers fans use?
J: Oooh, I wanna know these.
K: Tigers fans? Hm, like "Kutabare Yomiuri" (*tr: 'Yomiuri kiss my ass', 'F*ck you Yomiuri'...you get the idea*)
T, J: hahaha
J: Haha, but thats well known isn't it?
K: Yeah, you'll hear it being sung at any match.
J: Eh? So like, even if they are up against the Yokohama Baystars?
K: Oh yeah
J: Ah, it shows that ever present rivalry there. Is that a part of Hanshin's identity, when playing them now?
K: It seems like they might get hate for it, right? I dont know if the other side hears it.
J: Oh, im sure thats not the case. Is there anything else? Something thats really Hanshin? If you go to the stadium, or in the bar afterwards?
T: There's that thing where people talk about going to Daiei outside Koshien stadium to buy snacks.
K: Ahh, Daiei! I've bought stuff there before.
T: Yeh, there's a Daiei near the stadium.
J: Whats that?
K: You know Daiei.
J: I know the supermarket Daiei, yeh.
K: People go to the basement floor of there to buy food before heading into the stadium.
J: Ehhh, I see. I didn't know that. Is it like at ????, where they sell yakisoba and stuff?
K: Ahh yeh, yeh. Its like that.
J: Ah, I see.
T: Ah, its nostalgic, talking about Koshien. I wanna go. I havn't been in ages.
J: Leader, do you go sometimes?
K: No, I havn't been lately either.
J: But you know, at Koshien..Im no expert, but it rained yesterday, right? But if you look at it now, it looks well drained.
T: Yeah, they have specialists in ground maintenance looking after their field. Like, they rake it and stuff. They might even show that on tv here.
J: Ah, so thanks to these professionals they can play the game easily.
T: Ah, Aoyagi stopped Yokohama getting any points in the fourth innings. It would be good if Hanshin could score next.
T: Apparently Toshiya is watching!
K: This stream?
T: Hm, maybe the baseball? Which would it be?
K: I don't think he would be watching a Hanshin game, haha.
T: Eh? So Toshiya is watching this stream?!
K: I don't know.
J: Toshiya saaan *waves* Hey, hey!
*Kaoru does a tiny bow*
J: So, is there any other Hanshin vocab?
T: Hm, is there?
J: Or other traditions like that Daiei thing?
T: When I've been to Koshien for Hanshin vs Giants games, the Giants fans would take off their baseball shirts and put them away in their bags before getting on the train to leave. I felt a bit sorry for them. They were surrounded by people wearing Hanshin shirts, acting like this is thier territory.
K: Yeh, it would be a bit tough getting on the Hanshin train for them.
T: Yeh, I remember that from when I was reporting there.
K: You know, if Hanshin win, the fans hang around for ages!
J: What are they doing?
K: Oh, like, just being euphoric.
J, T: Hahaha
K: They just get hyper and take ages to leave.
J: If it was in Tokyo, you'd imagine everyone bursting out of the stadium happily, right? But Hanshin fans are different. They like to celebrate to the victory. They rarely win though, right?
K: Yeh, so since they don't usually win, whenever they do win, the fans are really happy.
J: I see, they value their victories.
K: But back in they day, the fans were all old guys, and they team would never win, right? So, it was just all these old guys angrily going, "Ah, I knew it!", and slamming their megaphone down. But if the team won, they would be like, 'I believed in them!!" Just listening to these guys saying that kind of thing was fun.
J: Ah, yet, I bet.
T: Ah, a comment saying a Giants fan kept their uniform on....Ah, Chikamoto got a hit?
J: Yeah, he's at first base now...Look at him, he's really good-looking! How good-looking is he?!
K: Haha, what?!
T: Joe!
J: But baseball players always used to be so ugly back in the Showa era..
T: Joe, thats your prejudice showing.
K: Yeh, I don't think they were.
J: But this guy looks like a model!!
K: Do you remember Manager Hara back then? He was cool, right?
J: Well, yeh, ok.
T: Joe, you might be thinking of those old Pacific league players with tightly permed hair.
J: Ah, yeh.
K: Uh, you know, we are watching this game on Dazone, but it has a bit of a delay. Its faster on regular tv, and I just saw someone commenting about how Chikamoto has made it all the way through before we've even seen it. Its like being told in advance, haha.
J: Oh nooo!
K: Hahaha
T: Everyone, please just take a breather or two before you send comments about the game.
J: Or do we actually want to be told?
K: We do not want to be told!!
T: There, Kaoru said it!
J: Ok, theres a possibility that other channels are faster, so we are a bit behind here. Kaoru, do you normally watch it on Da...what? Dazun?
K: Yeah, I do.
J: Ive never heard of that in my life..Dazun.
K: Well, its like a subscribtion channel.
J: Is it a specialist baseball channel.
K: Oh no, it shows other sports too. It just doesn't show any baseball games from Hiroshima, from the Mazda stadium.
J: Eh, why?
T: It must be a rights issue.
J: The comments are saying its Dazone, not Dazun.
T: Oh, Dazone. Ah..I hope he gets through (*sarcasm*).
J: Thats Chikamoto, right?
K: Oh, yeh that would be good! (*sarcasm*) haha!
J: Is there that much of a time lag?!
K: Oooh, I wonder what will happen? But can he really do it?!
T: Hm, yeh, cause he is good at pick-offs too.
K: Right?! Hm, Im not sure he can do this.
J: Is Chikamoto a fast runner?
K: Yeah, he is.
J: Yeah, he has the face of a fast runner, haha.
T: Hm, but I don't think he can do this.
K: Yeah.
*everyone watching*
J, K, T: Ahh!....Ohhhh!!
T: Ahh, he did it!
J: Huh? Was that comment wrong?!
K: What?
J: Huh? I don't know. Hahaha
K: Haha, no, it wasn't wrong. Chikamoto did it!
J: Ah, he succeeded? I thought he'd failed for a sec there.
K: This time lag is pretty big though!
J: Its like 5 mins!
T: I want everyone to watch it with a delay.
K: Haha, that might be a bit difficult. How?! Like record it and...
T: Yeah, catch up mode.
J: 'Time lag panic'. Somethings going on with the earth's axis to create a time lag like this.
K: Haha, just here, right?
J: Ok, so I think we can do a bit more explanation about baseball next, for those of you who know very little about it. Where should we start from?
T: You could use this sketch book to explain a strike.
J: Do you guys know the terms ball, and strike? Or out and safe? Where should we start explaining?
T: Tell us in the comments where you want us to start from. But you know, with women, there is that saying of getting to third base, right?
J: Ah, yeh. Well, what about the basic rules?
K: Well, the pitcher throws, and the batter hits. And then the batter runs right to first base. But if thet get four balls, they walk.
J: Someone just said they don't know what you mean by 'ball'.
K: Well, its kinda like this (*Kaoru stands and holds the square book beside him*). If the ball passes through this square, its a strike.
J:Oh, so you are the batter?
K: Yeah, Im the batter. Within this square is a strike. Well, I mean, its a bit bigger than this in reality though. And then anything outside this square is called a 'ball'.
J: So theres this strike zone..
K: Yes, and if it goes outside of this, its a 'ball'. And then, if it hits my body, its a deadball'
J: If it hits you its a deadball? That would hurt.
K: Yes, it does hurt, haha.
*Kaoru sits down*
K: Oh, look, its Kato!
J: Oh, he is the one to watch.
T: He is ????? with Kamichatani.
J: Which means?
T: He hits 1 out of 2.
K: Uh, he has those black lines drawn under his eyes, right? They sometimes look like they are stickers though. What is that?
T: Its probably the way the light shines.
K: Yeah, but there, look. Its looks like its been drawn on, right? But it also sometimes looks like it has a kind of sheet stuck over it. Whats the difference?
T: Hm, yeh. I feel like whether its day or night probably doesn't have anything to do with it. He might do it to like, raise the fighting spirit.
J: Oh, like an Indian.
K: Not like Motely Crue?
T: Hahaha, Motely Crue?!
J: But he does it at night too. Ive heard its for anti-glare effect or something during the day.
T: Hey, Joe, when are we gonna start drinking?
J: Ah, not yet. Soon. Eh? How much longer before we can?
K: How much longer?! We still havn't done any of these plans *picks up notes*
J: We've been watching the game too much. Ok, lets set a rule that we explain any baseball vocab if and when it comes up.
T: It might be quicker to just google the rules of baseball.
K: Haha, yeh.
J: Yes, but we want Leader to explain...
*screen freezes, then resumes after a min with no sound, before normalising*
K: Ok, we don't know at which point it froze, but Tasai was telling all!
T: Yes, while it was frozen I was telling them everything.
J: Of course, Tasai, if you talk about that type of thing on air, they will freeze us.
T: We were banned!
K: Hahaha. Oh, has the sound gone too?
J: Well, Tasai, you do have some big news, which im sure will be a big story tomorrow, right?
T: Well, yeh.
J: Everyone, if you want to know what we are talking about, please become a channel member.
*Video freezes again for a min*
J: We're back on?
K: Can they hear us though? It seems like Tasai spilling the gossip is no good after all.
J: Its like, as soon as he starts we get locked out.
K: Its come to this has it? Even on the Freedom of Expression...Are we back?
*Screen changes to 'please wait' image while they sort out the technical issues, Tasai writes some messages in the comments explaining the situation*
K: Oh, we're back! Thank you, Tasai.
J: Nice comments Tasai. But if you start talking in the same way again, its gonna be dangerous.
K: Yeah, it is.
J: But still, after all, we are The Freedom of Expression. Thank you everyone for welcoming us back. Anyway, in the second part of the stream today, we will start having a drink, while we watch the baseball...and...I can only say this here...we will have games!
K: Well, its gonna be a long one today, isn't it?
J: Yeah, we're only on the 4th innings, we are not even half way through the baseball game yet, but we are gonna be here till it finishes.
K: We're starting the 5th innings next.
T: Is this is still the free section?
K: Yes.
J: Can I write 0 here? Ok, so the 5th innings next, with the Baystars on offense. So if you become a channel member, you can watch to the end. Is the link up there? I'll just guide you through it. If you click the link, a payment method screen will appear. Choose your preferred method and click proceed. Then if you enter your payment details, thats it. If you havnt already joined, please do so now, and you can enjoy all thr plans we have in store for the second part.
T: Thank you so much if you do join.
J: Okay, we'll leave you for just a moment next, well, like when we stopped earlier, and then the second part will start, so members, please hang tight. And if you like, prepare a drink.
T: Someone commented, I wonder if Toshiya is a member?
K: Why is he watching this?! Haha.
J: Toshiya, please become a channel member!
K: I don't know why he is watching, haha.
J: Okay, Leader, a final word from you.
K: Ok, please join us for the next part!
