#Rain world #game clips #I've gotten a lot better since I made this video but I still love it. I don't get why everyone's surprised that the brotherhood use the correct pronouns with Dane. I think people have forgotten a major aspect of the fallout environment. The bombs falling destroyed conventional societal norms. This includes any political agenda to erase trans people from history and the future. Also this is fiction. The brotherhood of steel are not a conservative christian political party. They care about what they dub "abuse of technology", this includes the biproducts thereof. The only people who fit that category are synths and mutants who they view as abominations that need to be exterminated. If trans people even counted as abuse of technology (which they don't and shouldn't, as the technology used for transition is helpful and not hurtful), they would be so far down the list the brotherhood wouldn't care. Why would they care. It's really not a big deal imo. It's a big deal in OUR world, but not theirs. Not by a long shot.

fun fact, after i finished the mwiii campaign i was so broken up abt soap dying that i quit the game and didnt know there was a post credit scene of price killing shepherd until a week later after my cousin played it and asked me what i thought abt the game LMAO

Kicking at Bethesdas doors demanding they let me pitch my idea for a Fallout 4 sequal that takes the multiplayer elements from 4 people enjoy but supports them with things like. Storytelling

#i haven't played much fo4 im mainly thinking of the camp mechanic and group bosses #within that modern fallout combat system #something like that but tighter and closer to new vegas #that but you have a whole game where you play as a wastelander with the early game being mostly solo #as your who character is a settler in a new community and your choices affect how it grows #and then you can have expanded content as tight self contained little narratives like a dnd campaign #bethany esda call me

Thinking about that scene in the wasteland epilogue again when Cog had just gotten back and Adiane calls for Ace, but AJ beats Ace to the living room and he looks JUST like his dad did when Cog left and there’s a split second where Cog starts toward him before catching herself because she knows that can’t be him, but at the same time

And then he just sorta nods to her, says “hey, mom” to Adiane and Cog’s breath catches because oh. Oh. Oh. Of course, these are their kids, but he looks so much like his dad and

The one unambiguous crossover for FTL I could find is a Rockman assist character in Fraymakers, which as the "a" implies is never specified as a specific Rockman (like, say, Ariadne) and is therefore ineligible.

So lacking a more straightforward path, we're going to have to take a bit of an iffy detour through Australian actor, video game enthusiast, DidYouKnowGaming? collaborator, and noted Game Grumps fan Vitas Varnas.

If there's an indie game that had a fairly well-known crowdfunding campaign, especially with some substantial higher-tier backer rewards, there's a decent chance Varnas helped back it. Broken Age, The Banner Saga, Mighty No. 9, Shovel Knight, and Wasteland 2 are among the many games he's thanked in as a backer and can be spotted in some minor capacities. Naturally, one of them was FTL.

Through this backer reward, a random male human crewmember can be named "Vitas Varnas". You can absolutely quibble over whether it makes sense to count this as the same "character" as the real Vitas Varnas, but the restriction that the crewmember must be male and human in order to be named Vitas Varnas, combined with a general lack of default names for crewmembers (bar special ones like Kazaaak), is basically enough for me.

If you allow that, Varnas has also lent his voice to Thimbleweed Park as part of yet another backer reward.

As a Ron Gilbert joint, you can spot Guybrush in the background of a scene in Thimbleweed Park, and the rest is a known quantity, more or less.
