Appearance: I have natural white hair like above, but it will be short like in the second picture. I have orange-brown like eyes like Heimdall, my dad. It also flows like his too.

Backstory: So long story short, I was born in Asgard to my father and my mom (who was a Valkyrie. We all know what happens to them. I might script she also survived). But anyways, Hela had been targeting me because of my powers that I got from my mom's side. It skipped a generation and got to me. Because of that, my dad teleported me to Earth, where I was taken to an orphanage. I grew up there, all the way until I was 15.

One day when I was 15 and walking through New York, the avengers were fighting a villain and a big piece of debris was flying my way. And me not knowing I had powers, I put my hands out to defend myself (my dumb ass would've died anyways) and my powers activated without me knowing. I had froze the debris to save myself. Me, being the scared teenager, ran back to the orphanage to hide from attention. But most of them noticed who I was. Next day before I knew it, I was getting adopted by the avengers and living with them 💪🏾

Powers: I will be able to control all the elements (more like tech, metal and others) but I first start off with Ice, Fire, Water, and Lightning. I also have super strength, super speed, y'know all the Asgardian stuff since I'm Asgardian. I also scripted to have the same Omni-senses like my father. My fighting will be like how the elemental benders fight in the Avatar ☺️. In the future I will learn how to use Asgardian magic too. I have like two pages for powers 💪🏾🙄

Kinda funny how I had this script for a long time and the official name of Heimdall's first child in the canon MCU is also named Astrid. He's a boy though 💀

I scripted that Asgard isn't destroyed (duh) and that Loki doesn't die. So he will also be there with the avengers (I'm so excited to see him)

I based off my mom's appearance from the marvel hero Storm (she's so pretty please-)

I'm still going to school with Peter, and we'll be out own hero duo (like ladybug and cat noir. Love myself for scripting this).

scott mccall is an earthbender. he is stubborn, firm in his sense of self and his beliefs, steadfast and wants to protect everyone. allison argent is a non-bender which i think all hunters would be non-benders. allison would totally be kyoshi warrior trained in hand-to-hand, various weaponry and chi blocking. lydia martin is a waterbender. changeable, open to new ways of thinking and compassionate. she'd be a great healer. stiles stilinski is a firebender. passionate, temperamental but compassionate and warm. he'd totally be a good lightening bender which would be unexpected by his opponents. derek hale is a waterbender. still waters run deep. connected to the moon phases and most powerful with the full moon.

liam dunbar is a firebender. explosive, impulsive and passionate. he wouldn't be able to do lightening bending but he'd love fire daggers.

malia tate is an earthbender. stubborn to a fault, strong sense of self, rough and tumble without finesse, ready to fight everyone but she'd probably be able to do something cool like lava bending or seismic sense.

kira yukimura is a surprising firebender. she's fierce and passionate. lightening is a given lol.

jackson whittermore is a non-bender and mad about it.

peter hale is a waterbender. extremely adaptable and this man would bloodbend if he could.

Dumb crossover headcanons,Fortnite x Avatar edition, starring the Society.

Nisha would be an Airbender. Her lithe movements are like the wind and let’s not get started on the high jumps from Flowberry Fizz and how it feels like an airbender jump.

Montague would be from the water tribe. I mean, the man thrives in cold places and so do the water tribes. That and waterbenders tend to be cocky as heck.

Oscar is definitely the Earth Kingdom earthbender type. Hunters and gardeners need to know the lay of the earth and how to use it effectively, just like earthbenders.

Valeria is obviously the firebender. She’s got the fire magic already and she’s ambitious like a firebender.

Part 1

Remus walked back to his apartment in a complete haze, not even noticing the joyful people on the streets or the world around him. He had just found the Potter’s, two of his very best friends, home in ruins and heard the news that the couple had been murdered. And after a quick conversation with Albus Dumbledore, learned that his other dear friend, Sirius, had been arrested for murder of Peter and betrayal of James and Lily. And Remus felt useless, he had been locked away in his werewolf state during the full moon the previous night.

His head felt like it was spinning. As he lit a cigarette to help him stop his nerves from shaking, he couldn't help the thoughts that were rushing through his head.

What would he do now?

Who would he be with?

How would he cope?

“This isn't real..." He mumbled to himself as he continued to walk, his mind racing.

Remus reached home and stumbled inside, his mind still a complete blur. He had to get away from his thoughts, and the only way that he knew how to do that was by getting incredibly drunk as quickly as possible.

He didn't even take his coat or shoes off before he grabbed a bottle of firewhiskey and started to down it. He had to get away from the pain.

Remus didn't care what people thought of him now. The love of his life was gone, and so were his best friends. Earlier, he had felt like he was going to burst into tears, but now he just wanted to drown those feelings with alcohol. He didn’t want to feel a thing.

Remus kept on drinking, barely able to think about anything else. He just wanted the pain to stop, and this was the only way that he could come close to doing so. Every time he drank, the words that haunted his mind went away. Every time he smoked, he was able to forget for a moment that his life had fallen apart. He spent the rest of that day on a drunken bender and chain smoked like a freight train.

The next day was spent very similarly. He immediately began drinking as soon as he was out of bed. That afternoon, he received a letter.

With his heart racing, he quickly snatched the letter and opened it up. He read it over a few times, struggling to focus his eyes long enough to actually understand the words that were staring back at him. He hadn't considered a memorial service for Lily and James- the thought had been too foreign and painful for him to bear. As much as he didn’t want to, he knew that he had to attend. He had to honor their memory and say goodbye.

Remus tried his best to sober up after the drunken bender he had been on. He went to the bathroom and splashed cold water in his face. He looked in the mirror and didn’t recognize himself. His facial hair hadn’t been trimmed in weeks, his hair a shaggy brown mess, his hazel eyes were heavily lidded, tired, and devoid of any emotion. It was as if he had aged a decade in a matter of days. It was no surprise, really. After all that he had been through.

He took a deep breath and looked away from the mirror. He couldn't stand to see that face anymore. But Remus knew that he had to get his shit together and get ready for the memorial service.

It felt like an eternity since Remus had taken a shower and even made any attempt at looking decent. After a shower, he dug through his wardrobe and chose some of his nicest clothes he owned for a funeral. Black pants, black jacket, black shirt. He combed his hair for the first time in a week. He was no where near prepared for this, for the memorial service of the two people that were the closest to him, but he couldn’t miss it.

Taking a deep breath, Remus walked out of his bedroom and towards the door. He didn't have much time to waste before the memorial. He had to get to it and say goodbye. Just say goodbye.

Remus walked into the church where the memorial service was being held and was amazed by the amount of people that were there. There was not very many empty seats remaining in the chapel. He quickly took a seat towards the back, not wanting to attract any attention to himself.

He knew that he must look awful- and the looks that some people shot him certainly confirmed it. He had no idea how he was going to get through this. He was tired of being the strong one, but he was also tired of being the weak one. He was just tired. Tired of everything. Tired of life.

Remus tried his best to keep it together as the memorial service underway, the tears pricking at his eyes and his heart breaking at every moment. He was overwhelmed by the emotions that were running through his body, struggling not to break down in front of everyone. He had never had to say goodbye to anyone in this sense before... and now he was saying goodbye to two of the most important people in his life. It felt like his heart was being ripped out, breaking open, and spilling out onto the church floor.

Remus's heart faltered and dropped to his stomach as he recognized a familiar, beautiful face. It felt like the world had came to a screeching halt around him. The most beautiful woman he’d ever seen, with her familiar pale blonde hair and kind smile. Fair, porcelain skin and those emerald green eyes that he remembered so well. She was a radiant beam of sunshine in the dreary, dark, rainstorm he called life. There, in the front of the church, was Pansy.

As Remus looked at her, he wanted to walk over and talk to her so badly. His heart longed for her so badly. It had been so long, so many weeks, months, years. He wanted to see her. He wanted to see her smile and her brilliant green gaze on him. He wanted to hear her melodic laugh and her sweet voice. Pansy was dressed in a beautiful black dress that contrasted her pale skin beautifully. She had aged over the past few years she had been away, but she was as beautiful as ever. Even as she weeped over their fallen friends.

Yet, Remus couldn't find the courage to face her at the end of the memorial service. He wanted nothing more than to go to her and comfort her.

When the memorial service was over, Remus watched her as if he was in a trance- her beauty and elegance was stunning compared to the way he looked. They had both changed in the time since they had last seen each other, but Pansy still looked as stunning as the first time that he met her. He could see the sorrow on her face as she mourned the loss of two of their friends.

Remus’ focus on Pansy was broke as Professor McGonogall approached him.

“Oh, Remus, I am so sorry.” His former professor cried as she pulled Remus into a hug.

Remus was frozen as she pulled him into the hug. He blinked a few times before registering what his former professor has said. The unexpected embrace broke his heart even more.

"Professor... you're here..." Remus said, his words barely coming out of his mouth as he returned the hug.

"I'm so sorry." She said.

Remus barely realized her words, his feelings of sorrow and grief spilling out all over again.

“Thank you.” Remus murmured.

When Professor McGonogall walked away, Pansy was behind her waiting to speak to Remus.

Remus froze. His world stopped.

"Remus," Pansy muttered, her voice wavering as she stepped towards him. "It’s so good to see you..."

He couldn't believe that she was talking to him again. It had been so long since he had even laid eyes on her, yet the familiarity of her voice just swept him away. It sent butterflies crazy in his stomach and goosebumps over his flesh.

Remus cleared his throat, his heart thudding in his chest.

Remus was overwhelmed with a flood of emotions. The devastation of the events that had taken place.

James and Lily dead.

Sirius in Azkaban for betraying them.

And now Pansy was back.

He was overwhelmed with a flood of emotions, and he just couldn't believe that he was seeing her. Pansy was back, standing right in front of him after all this time. After everything that had happened.

Remus felt like the world was spinning, and his heart was pounding in his chest like never before. He didn't know what to say. He felt too overwhelmed to say anything at all. He has no clue what to say to her.

You have to say something. Anything, you idiot!

Pansy’s heart broke as she took in Remus’ state. He looked very weathered, tired, sad, broken. His hair shaggy, his facial hair grown out, his normally soft, kind green eyes were tired and bleak. He looked like he had aged so much in the past two years Pansy was away at university. He was only twenty one but he had lived a lifetime of sadness, heartbreak, and devastation. He had become a broken man.

"It's... good to see you too, Pansy..." Remus replied, his voice even sounding hollow.

"I... uh..." Pansy started, her voice shaking. "I'm so glad you came."

Remus gave her a small, weak smile.

The pain in Remus’ eyes was apparent, the look of sheer heartbreak as he stood in front of her. He felt so inferior to her. It appeared that over the past two years, Pansy seemed to be thriving, living her best life, and as beautiful as ever. While Remus continued to live in the past and merely exist each day, not truly living his life.

"I've missed you, Remus," Pansy said, her voice uneven, “It is so good to see you again.”

She hesitantly placed a comforting hand on his shoulder which caused his heart to thud even harder, his stomach twisting in knots. He felt lightheaded, as if he might just pass out right there in the church.

"I've missed you too, Pansy..." He replied weakly.

“Would you like to… I don’t know… Catch up?” Pansy asked stiffly.

"Yes... I would." Remus whispered.

He was still too overwhelmed to say much. He just wanted her to be close to him again.

He wanted her to hold him. Love him. Comfort him. He wanted her to make him feel safe in the world again. She had always done it in the past, as his best friend, but now he needed her even more than he ever had before. He loved her and he couldn’t deny his feelings any longer.

“Where would you like to go?” Pansy asked.

She had no where to stay. She was in town for the memorial, her apartment was hours away in the city where she was studying at university.

"We could go to my apartment?" Remus suggested nervously, “I have a sofa I can sleep on. You could sleep in my bed.”

He had to be careful with his words, not wanting Pansy to think that he was trying to take advantage of the situation. He just wanted her to stay with him. He wanted to be with her. Alone with her. He was feeling too overwhelmed by everything to even think about going out. He just wanted to go back with her. To catch up. To talk. To be close.

He just wanted her to hold him. Love him. Support him. Comfort him. He wanted her to make him feel whole again. Make him feel safe in the world again. He just wanted to be with her. Have her close to him. Catch up. Talk.

To make the pain go away.

He had never stopped loving her. And he never, ever would. Even if she was oblivious to his affections.

"Alright... my apartment," he whispered. "Let's go."

marauders x atla/lok AU -- remastered.

I’ve been rewatching atla with my bf recently, which really put me in the mood to revisit this old idea. So I present you a brand new fanart of Peter, Remus, Sirius, James, Lily and Snape (from left to right) designed as atla/lok characters. Also, have an additional sketchdump with some scenarios and whatnot.

Some further unreasonably detailed ideas:

James is an earthbender/metalbender, the only son of famous metalbending acupuncturists. He is also the pro-bending team captain of the Zaofu Saber-tooth Moose Lions. His teammates are Kingsley (firebender) and Xenofilius Lovegood (water/swampbender). He has a very obvious crush on Lily, non-stop trying to impress her with little gifts and dangerous stunts. He is a clever and resourceful prankster. His metalbending master was McGonagall, who is deep down a little disappointed that James became a pro-bender instead of a detective. She watches all of his matches anyways.

Lily is a non-bender from Republic City, who is a chi-blocker and a herbalist. Her childhood friend is Snape who also shared an interest in herbs and poisonous plants. Lily started learning chi-blocking because Snape became way too invested in bloodbending. She is secretly a pro-bending fan and is very fascinated by James’ seemingly failed attempts at flirting. She is estranged with her sister as Petunia hates benders. Lily developed a friendship with Sirius over both of them sharing a complicated relationship with their siblings. She bonded with Remus over their interest in healing.

Sirius is a powerful firebender who owns a motorbike. He met James while trying to fix a stubborn loose screw and they’ve been inseparable ever since, pulling off various shenanigans. He has an unlimited number of parking and speeding tickets. Because of this, he's been sentenced multiple times by Police Chief McGonagall to perform community service in Republic City’s Power Plant generating lightning. His family originates from the richest Fire Nation colony governors, who managed to maintain their noble status and money, but also their traditionalism. They enrolled Sirius to the Fire Nation Army so he could become a high-ranking officer as expected, but he eventually deserted to find real adventures. He still wears his military uniform jacket as a memento.

Remus is a waterbender who has a strong connection to the wolf spirit of the Forgetful Valley. As a little kid he was bitten by a venomous animal possessed by a dark spirit and became very sick. He could be eventually healed by the water of the lake the wolf spirit drank from that season. Hence during full moon his waterbending abilities are charged with the wolf spirit’s energy, forming the shape of the wolf’s head during attacks. He needs to drink from the Forgetful Valley lake waters during lunar eclipses unless he becomes sick again. He works at an animal clinic as a healer. He is dating Sirius, but they are both very awkward about their undeniable feelings.

Regulus is a firebender working as a double agent for Republic City’s Police and Triads. He is involved in various triad business, gathering information and handling pro-bending bets. He is quiet and introverted as opposed to his brother Sirius whose powerful bending abilities and fearless personality gained him quite a reputation. They are not in speaking terms with each other, even though they often get in trouble together when Sirius eventually interferes with his little brother’s operations not knowing he is a double agent.

Peter is a seemingly weak earthbender from Ba Sing Se who cares more about culinary delights than anything else. However, he is deeply involved with Triad business, handling bets, spying and other illegal activities. During a turf war his hand was injured, so he wears a Dai Li rock glove to cover it. As he looks rather harmless, prefers to hide his bending abilities and leaves a general cowardly impression of himself, no one really suspects that he is in fact a spy and a smart player.

Snape is a waterbender prodigy, who also knows much about poisons. He is still obsessed with Lily, even though she has ended their friendship when he demonstrated his self-taught bloodbending abilities on her sister. He spent years researching bending forms and developed his own techniques hoping to win Lily’s trust back. As a result, he is able to bloodbend without a full moon which is his preferred style despite knowing all other sub-forms of waterbending. His talent sparked the interest of Voldemort.

Voldemort is an energy bender who, alongside his mother, was attacked by an enraged snake spirit. His mother died, however he survived due to his awakening energy bending powers, somehow sealing the snake spirit into himself thus enslaving it as his servant. In exchange, his face developed snake-like features. He could turn spirits into dark spirits and seal their power into himself. He planned to find the next Avatar (Harry) so he could rip Raava out of him, corrupt and seal the spirit into himself. He believed this would make him the most powerful being on the world, as then he would gain the bending powers of the Avatar.

Dumbledore is an airbending master and spiritual guru. He has a pet phoenix spirit. He is the grand master of the White Lotus and the unofficial guardian of the spirit portal of Republic City. His main priority is to protect earth citizens as the new Avatar will be born as one of them. However, his master plan is to reconnect Raava and Vaatu and permanently fuse both of them with the Avatar, as only this could bring true balance.

Finally got an over-three-hour playlist, bits of spring means ups and downs and sad wet cat feelings along with the manic joy of the days getting longer. I've mentioned this before but every time I hear All Saints' "Love Lasts Forever" part of me thinks it is the theme song to *Highlander*. Bless my brain where there's some pop girl version of *Highlander*. Can you imagine?!

The very awesome Cola Boyy died this month at 34, which is not enough years but I'm glad we were given what we did. His disco pop is a joy and his cover of 'To Be Rich Should Be a Crime' is the version that lives in my head. Here's a mini-doc over on Vimeo that came out with that single.

I'd heard "Pump Up the Volume," of which Colorbox was part (primary part, for this song) before because I'm a person living in the world the years I have, but somehow hadn't encountered "The Moon Is Blue"?! One of those bands for whom things went right then fell apart. Wolfgang Tillmans did an exhibition collecting their work in a "playback room" exhibition.

I remain fond of younger folks reinterpreting the imagery and sound from my high school years and Lauran Hibberd hits that. See 2nd prettiest girl as an example.

Random AU's for legend of korra ships but it's only movies i was obsessed with as a child:

Beauty and the beast- brave and beautiful daughter of an inventor? And Korra would be a good beast. She gives off furry vibes and has anger issues.

Hercules- ive seen this one a couple times. It fits so well!

Makorra:

The swan princess -Mako has enough social ineptitude to offend a woman in five syllables or less. Korra will wreak havoc as a swan tho. Have you ever been pecked by a swan? They have serrated beaks. Serrated beaks!

Rapunzel- magical girl isolated from the world and insecure boy with ties to crime? Excellent. Make her hair turn silvery blue like healing water.

Masami:

Hunchback of Notre Dame- but Asami is Phoebus and Mako is Esmeralda because fuck gender norms. I imagine in this AU Hiroshi is the Frollo and is hunting down benders or smth. Bolin can be the goat.

Aladdin- hot independent princess and street rat boy. Need I say more? Let Korra be the genie.

Irohsami:

Mulan- good luck disguising yourself as a twink, Asami. Iroh bouta go through a crisis of sexuality.

Treasure Planet- briliant yet inexperienced dr Asami Sato is on an expedition to discover the lost Treasure of captain Flint onboard a ship commanded by the extremely capable captain Iroh. [ catgirl Iroh catgirl Iroh]

Weilin:

Anastasia- Due to an uprising the Beifongs, who are either royalty or nobles in this AU, i haven't yet decided have to flee their home. But an eight year old Wei doesn't make it and after sustaining a head injury, forgets who he is. Mako and Bolin are conmen (which is sorta in line with canon, they did scams as kids) and are trying to find someone to pose as the lost prince in order to collect the reward money the royal family offers for his return. (Though i might make Varrick take the tole of Vlad) They find Wei and he seems perfect for the job. (Haven't yet decided who is gonna be Rasputin. Aiwei maybe?)

Atlantis- Bolin and a group of other adventurers travel to the lost city of Zaofu, where the Beifong family live and Wei becomes very interested in the outsider. [Hnnn i need to draw the 'you do swim, do you not?' Scene with them]

Kainora:

Peter pan - Jinora and her siblings travel to Neverland with Kai and have child friendly adventures complete with puppy love. Good for them.

Bopal( im sorry bopal shippers, but i like despise this ship so not much for them. I did my best tho):

Wild Swans (from Mikhail Baryshnikow's 'Stories from my childhood') - As a result of an evil witch's spell, Opal's brothers ( and heck, toss Kuvira in there too) are turned into swans and their parents forget the existence of their children. Opal takes on the arduous task of shirts out of stinging nettles for them, while maintaining a vow of silence, the only way to break the spell. While her siblings are away, Opal is found by prince Bolin. Due to the fact that she needs to remain silent to break the spell, she is unable to explain the situation, so Bolin takes her back to his castle and they fall in love. But soon people start to suspect Opal of witchcraft. (The prince is super goofy in that movie and also preforms an opera ballad for the princess and i can see bolin standing under Opal's window singing : WHERE IS YOUR HEART?)

little update for you guys:

so i’ve had literally no time for shifting recently 💀 I haven’t even attempted in a month or so.

and i know everyone’s like “make time!” or “shifting is easy just do ___!” girl i’m telling you i’m up at 6 in the morning and my day isn’t over until 11, then i need to go to sleep and do it all again the next day. having responsibilities sucks ass.

BUT- in the meantime, I’ve been exploring potential DRs and making pinterest boards and cute little spotify playlists and basically it’s the main way i’m attached to shifting right now. My living situation has changed (positive) but that’s a whole other mess and basically Ophelia has NO time ❌

So updates might be slow until i move into my dorm in August, but anyway here’s a new list of some of my drs in case anyone is looking for a new place to shift:

So, I have my Hogwarts DR right? But honestly, it’s not really my main focus at the moment. i’m really just trying to get to my waiting room before i decide where the hell i’m going. this dr is cute and adorable and feels very homey to me. i’ve actually considered permashifting there tbh. it’s the world i’ve scripted the most for and what ignited my shifting journey.

Then, I have a Fame dr. kind of obligatory at first but the more i was getting into it, the more shit i’ve added and i actually love it now. it’s a mid-2010s and onward fame dr, so it’s like 2015 where i’m shifting. i’ve scripted to start out on broadway (OBC for katherine pulitzer in newsies), eventually working my way to the acting industry and then the music industry. i’ve got at least three albums planned and I even have an idea for a directorial debut limited series. I’ve also scripted myself into movies and shows that don’t exist in my cr so i’m excited to see how that goes!

I have some ideas for a marvel/Avengers dr. I’m a Greek demi-goddess with questionable parentage, but I insert myself into Tony’s life right around the first Iron Man. With weird time mechanics and whatever I just want to be besties with peter parker and train with strange and bucky tbh. extended found family is what i live for

I’m working on an Avatar: The Last Airbender dr lmao. i wanna be a fire bender so bad it’s unreal. I’m also adding separate countries under the same nation. like yes, there’s the earth kingdom and fire kingdom, but they have separate designations sort of like the southern and northern water tribes.

I’m thinking of a pjo/camp-half-blood dr because that would be cool as hell. going on quests with the gang and having powers?? i’d probably script some stuff in or out but the idea is really cool to me and i was always a percy jackson kid

lost in space dr !!! if you don’t know what i’m talking about there’s an original series from years ago or there’s a netflix reboot but basically this is a found family dr that takes place in space/alien planets and there’s a robot. maureen and john robinson are so mother and father coded it’s unreal.

hawkins, indiana dr but not “really” a stranger things dr because i don’t want to traumatize these kids or be traumatized myself lmao i’m basically just living in hawkins but all the friend groups are the same. also i’m dustin’s older sister because he’s adorable.

youtuber dr where i’m in weird/conspiracy core youtube and make those sorts of videos. i wanna make content with some of my more niche weird faves like wendigoon, nexpo, etc. this is really niche for a dr but i think it’s gonna be fun as hell.

bridgerton dr, y’all fr need to get in on this. new pretty dresses every day, men competing for my hand in marriage, elitist politics, orchestral music, flowers everywhere- it’s just going to be a good time i know it.

The 100 but specifically seasons 1-2 (MAYBE 3). Less death and more fun but with some scripting i think the idea of a society run by delinquent teenagers from space who are also fighting barbaric remnants of a destroyed civilization sounds cool as HELL bro. But i finished the show and the plot after the time jump isn’t what I want so i’m gonna script the hell out of the actual plot to make it fit what i want.

Trap House dr ! (another youtuber dr, shockingly) with the trap house circa the late 2010s. ghost hunting with sam and colby, talking shit with jake and corey, doing stupid shit and partying and just having a good time bro. i’m also scripting out Elton 🙈

narnia dr but specifically from LWW through the golden era of narnia. ruling over a mythological land with the pevensies, exploring the lands as far as they go, learning the lore with the other places in the world narnia exists in (where the telmarines come from and the other nations), i just think it’d be cool as hell.

Peter as a bloodbender is going to LIVE IN MY HEAD forever. He would want to teach Derek sooo bad, and try to get Derek to understand.

Scott being an earthbender is so good. Of course he and Derek butt heads! Same with Malia and Peter.

Stiles as a firebender is inspired! He really is the lighter, reflected version of Peter.

peter's got this dark uncle iroh vibe and he'd relate so hard with hama and yakone. like. he'd like to think he's amon but no he's yakone. peter would want so badly to make derek a bloodbender like hama did katara.

i love the idea that born werewolves would be waterbenders due to the tie the moon. they are shapshifters which ties into water being the element of change and adaptability.

derek being a powerful waterbender just feels right to me though. the flow and grace he'd have. it can heal as much as wound.

hunters don't get to be benders. those are the rules.

scott is such an earthbender. he's not the person who changes but he changes those around him. it's his steadfast, firm belief that draws people to his way of thinking not the other way around. he has indominable will which is why he became a true alpha.

for stiles i did consider him as a non-bender at first. i think that's the natural instinct since he's not a werewolf but him as a firebender just fit to me. i kept thinking about how iroh explained lightening as the cold-blooded fire and how it takes skill and precision. stiles is the planner and the logical one. he'd totally be able to generate lightening which others wouldn't expect from him cause they see him as goofy and underestimate him.

I'm going to fight the next person who says firebending is the weakest bending-

First of all, every firebender is built to be a fucking unit. Their power comes from their chi directly, so it's part of their training to be physically fit and strong. Remember Zuko "legs for days"? That's his firebending training coming out. Azula carrying her own weight over a boiling lake, with one hand? The one hand wasn't even holding the wire, she was just gripping a cloth to keep her hand from getting scratched.

Second of all, the only reason people view firebending as weak is because we rarely see it deal the actual damage it should, because we can't exactly show people getting burnt in a kid's TV show, right? The only times we see people getting burnt is when it's time for plot. Remember Aang starting out with firebending? He was just playing around with a little fire and- oh? That little bit of fire burned Katara's hands! Benders need their hands! What would have happened if she hadn't been able to heal? Her bending would've been affected for a long time, until the scars heal, and that would've been bad when they end up in combat situations half the show, right? Her bending would've been affected for a long while all because of a little practice fire!

"But water and earth can beat them any day-" seems like everyone's standards for bending is based on the literal fucking prodigies. Katara, Toph, and Azula are VASTLY different from the rest of the people in that world. You know why there are earthbender prisons? Because firebenders beat them. Why were the southern waterbenders taken? Because the firebenders fucking beat them. Why was it so easy for the GAang to just beat everyone then? 1) Plot 2) It's a team of prodigies 3) the Fire Nation got soft because of arrogance. They'd been on the winning side of a 100 year war. Their overconfidence and superiority complexes did them in.

"Azula is actually weaker than Katara and Toph tho" we don't see an actual battle between Azula and Toph so that's still debatable. The two battles between Azula and Katara had Katara in the more advantageous position every time. It's canon that lack of sun would cause firebending to peter out. Where were Katara and Azula fighting in Ba Sing Se? Ah yes. In a deep cave. With water. How about the last fight? Azula had been off her rocker but she still beat Zuko, then proceeded to chase Katara into a corner, and it's through pure luck and genius that Katara trapped her.

"if the water tribes or the earth kingdom started the war they wouldn't need 100 years" the Fire Nation was on the smaller side in terms of land, the Water Tribe was in a disadvantageous location for firebenders, and the Earth Kingdom is fucking huge when you don't have a sky bison or episodical skips. It took longer for the Fire Nation, yes, but the fact they managed to conquer so much land that they practically depowered the Earth Kingdom and the Water Tribe is a testament to how fucking good they are in terms of military might.

TLDR; Firebending is only viewed as weak because Nickelodeon couldn't exactly show children horrific burning up close and personal unless it's a necessary plot-point.

I suddenly have a little bit of energy so before I go over and start something I'm too tired to finish, I get up and wobble into the bathroom.

I start the shower, use some mouthwash and tie my hair up.

"Come on babe, let's rinse."

We do a good bit more than that.

First I exchange 'Finn's' toy for a more waterproof plug and we both decide that soap is a must.

Afterwards we wander into the living room buck naked.

"I don't wanna wear shorts," 'Finn' says and I agree.

"I doubt anyone can see us but I think towels are a happy compromise."

I grab one, tuck it around my waist and go out to start the water.

Luckily it's cooled off enough that I can make it fairly warm and twenty minutes later we're both in.

'Finn' brought water and a bottle of wine but no glasses so we're just chugging right out of the bottle.

The jets pounding against my back are heaven.

"This is so nice."

"Feels really good. Wish I had some toys. Can I play with your hair?"

That's a lot at once and he currently has a toy that's being well used but...

"Sure."

I give up my back jets and spin around so that I'm in front of him.

"Whatever you want, kiddo."

Mental note, always bring toys.

Non-sexual ones.

Well and those.

So sure, toys.

I take a few sips from the bottle, this is probably the most expensive wine I've ever had and wrap his feet around me.

His hands feel really good in my hair and against my scalp.

They felt really, really good earlier too.

"I loved you pulling my hair earlier, darling."

"Me too. Lots."

He gives it a quick tug and then leans up and kiss my cheek.

"And you were wrong, Emmett, you said I wouldn't like the second part but I did. Super lots."

Super lots.

He's cute.

"I'm glad."

"I made you feel good. I'm a good boy."

Damn, he needs to stop.

Empty balls or not, damn.

"Yes you are. I'm proud of you for taking my cock so well."

"I miss you but the plug is nice. Scoot up."

I oblige, who am I to say no to a request to 'scoot'?

"I'm hungry."

"I'll order us something. What sounds good?"

There's no way I'm leaving this room unless it catches on fire.

"I want a hamburger... a huge hamburger. With exta cheese."

I saw them on the menu earlier, no problem.

He's gonna have to wait a bit though because I'm not getting out yet.

Besides, he had ice cream so he's not actually gonna die if he has to wait an hour.

"I'll get you one when we get out."

We soak until the wine is gone and then finally drag ourselves out of the tub.

I feel like I'm floaty, like gravity isn't working quite right because all my muscles are jello.

He hops under a blanket and finds Avatar, the last Air-bender on TV and becomes completely engrossed.

I order dinner and clean up the mess we made earlier.

I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror, I'm now sporting a french braid down my back.

Peter would laugh his ass off.

I'm surprised he did such a good job.

"Where'd you learn to braid, Finn?"

"My sister, she always makes me."

His use of the present tense jumps out at me and I'm glad he's fully back in headspace and enjoying his weekend, especially since I messed it all up earlier with the medication freak out. 

I'm not going to fuck it up again.

I want him to be 'Little Finn' at least until we're home tomorrow... if I can manage it. 

Once we're back in Baltimore... we may need to talk and handle some things but for now it's just us.  

My cell-phone rings and I glance at the name flashing on my screen. 

It's Harris. 

"I'll be right back, darling." 

I go into the bedroom and answer. 

"Hey."

"Hey Locke, how are you?"

He always asks me that and he's one of those people that really want to know.

He's living over in California now, in Los Angeles I think. 

He's a social worker or a therapist or something and his new career is perfect for him. 

I always tell him that 'I'm fine' but this time I get to say...

"I'm really good. How are things in sunny Cali?"

"Warm. I hate it but it's good for the leg."

"Glad it's helping, Harris. How are you feeling?"

"Eh, it's still attached," he jokes. 

"When are you gonna come visit?"

"Not this week" I tease. 

But actually, it does sound good.

He's been asking me for six or eight months, since he headed out there.

I'm way too busy but I wonder if it's something Finnegan might be interested in once things settle down. 

Will things ever settle down? 

"But maybe this winter, if I can swing it."

"Good. Hey, keep in touch, Locke and thanks again."

"You can stop thanking me, Harris." 

He won't but I really wouldn't mind. 

"You would have done the same for me."

"Absolutely but I didn't have to. Hasta pronto and Locke?"

"Yeah?"

"Congrats on the boyfriend."

"Thanks, Monk... I'll talk to you later."  

Of course Finnegan asks me who it was, as soon as I head back out to the patio. 

"An army buddy of mine."

"You guys still talk? That's good."

"A few of us, yeah. The guys I was closest with."

 But that's not true... I just talk to the guys who make the most effort and are easy to reach. 

I'm saved by a knock on the door. 

"Dinner time." 

Shit, I need shorts.,
