when, in heroes of olympus, we see percy knowing all about the monsters that he's facing and being able to guess what's really going on behind the scenes, it's implied to be due to his experience as a hero. like right after percy identifies a new monster that they have to fight, it's almost always followed by an anecdote about how he fought a monster of the same species and therefore knows how to defeat it.

however in the new pjo show, there's no room for percy to build his experience and develop as a hero due to his past exploits because we see from s1 ep1 that he already can identify what he's up against.

i understand that show percy has a great emphasis on learning the greek myths when he was younger and that percy has always been smarter than anyone gave him credit for, but let 12 year olds learn and get things wrong, let characters develop as heroes, because doing so doesn't take away from percy's intelligence.

One thing I’m curious to see if they include in the show is is Crusty’s Waterbed shop. I think everyone forgets about it because it wasn’t in the movie and I don’t think it was in the musical. the scene is very dark, too, so there is a reason why they would cut it out. I think episode seven might be too jam packed for them to include it, but I hope they at least reference it or slide to them going into the store, even if there isn’t an entire scene about it

“Edward Creel isnt real” and yet Henry Creel is the guy whose name only appears in the fringe conspiracy newspaper whereas Edward’s name appears in the actual paper & the “Henry” Creel during TFS keeps having to say “i’m normal, i’m Henry Creel,” and remind himself of who he is. Henry Creel is the guy whose newspaper article lists his sister as being 15 despite her clearly not being 15 in the show OR in the photo that’s LITERALLY IN THAT ARTICLE!! Let alone TFS Brenner’s weird “no one except for me Henry-“ wording that makes it sound as if he’s somehow Henry. Let alone the fact that Edward moved to Hawkins two years before Henry did!! Let alone the fact that TFS gave us footage of a 7 year old Henry Creel that looks nothing like ANY of the Henwards we’ve ever seen- that 7 year old has DARK brown, almost black hair!!
