[Day 0]-Part 1

[There's a hastily written page]

Well, I've never written in a journal consistently before, so I don't know if this is just for one entry and WAIT THAT'S NOT IMPORTANT-

So it was the middle of Fall and I was working away at the farm. I spent that day mostly building on the farm, but Sebastian wanted to do a quick Solarian Chronicles session so I joined in. I didn't really do much else. I was planning to-since it was getting kind of cold-to visit Ginger Island soon. But. Uhh. I woke up. AND MY PLANS ARE A BIT DIFFERENT NOW.

OKAy I should probably write down what's going on for the record, even though I'll look insane. Maybe someone will pick this up and write a cool book about it? Err anyways. Basically, the world seems to have gotten a bit... wonky? I think I woke up in my cabin, but the layout and location are sorta different like the world has just taken a step to a left. That's not all though. I checked the clock, and not ONLY is it Winter 28th, but it was also the same year I went to the farm. That's two and a half years ago? Did I time-travel??

What's even weirder is, I can't find my farm. The cabin is closer to the bus stop now but I still did a quick check of where the farm used to be and there only seem to be hills? I checked the items in the house and they were the same as the ones when I first moved in, so I suppose this is still the same cabin-just strangely enough with a completely different floor plan.

So just in case, I'm trying to use my phone to load up a map, but the internet connection in the valley is so unbelievably slow (I don't know how the others deal with it) that I started writing this.

The only reason I haven't shut down from this situation is cause I think there's a logical cause to this. Well... kinda logical? You see, to anyone who has eyes, this Valley is clearly magical, and who knows what can happen with that. I admittedly never thought too hard about it, but perhaps some things (a seemingly infinite cave? Dwarves species with their own language?? A witch???) should have raised a few questions…

Well for one, I’ve got a wizard to interrogate >:( But that man only speaks in riddles… maybe I’ll see if some other townspeople actually know anything? Though I suppose the only people living here who are entirely ignorant are like Lewis… Maybe Demetrius? Does Shane know?

Oh, hey-The internet's connected!

Uh… what IS RIDGESIDE?? EAST SCARP?? You know, I don't often read maps, and I'm terrible at directions, but I would've heard of these places eventually! Yeah, this doesn't answer any questions.

Ok I took a closer look, and the roads are mostly the same as I remember, but new places just added in, like they were here the whole time. And you know what? It's the exact same with all of Pelican Town. Like, all the places I'm familiar with are roughly in the same place, but since when was there a vineyard? A pet shop?? AN ORTHOLOGIST SHOP??? (Actually, I really want to visit that one.)

Everywhere else seems to be the same... or at least Zuzu City. Nothing weird is reported on social media, so is it really something within the valley?.. Or could I have woken up from a giant dream where I imagined two and a half years of my life??

Oh, and there's still no farm.

Hi friends! Sorry, long time, no talk but I've been very busy with my March caprice submission and a lot of hang ups surrounding it.
