So we all know that Wayhaught has an active sex life
and they always have their hands on each other or they are making out
one of their favorite things to do is have morning sex
bc with their schedules it's hard for them to have time together
especially with Nicole being sheriff, she has to do a lot of night shifts
Wayhaught had tried to start something the night before
like they were making out or something sexual happened
but one of them fell asleep or they were just too tired to go further
the pair went to bed, but the next morning Waverly was still in the mood
she probably started kissing Nicole's neck and her hands started to roam up and down
this wakes Nicole up and she starts to giggle
bc of course Waverly was still in the mood
Nicole probably flips them over and pinned Waverly to the bed
(this turns Waverly on, she loves seeing Nicole like this)
the pair waste no time and they manage to strip down in no time
let's just say the pair wanted to make up that they were not able to have sex the night before
and they were rather active and loud
Nicole was leaving marks on Waverly's body and continued being her to the edge multiple times that morning
and Waverly wanted to make sure Nicole felt good bc how much she works
finally after an hour or so they went downstairs
and everyone stared bc they knew what happened
Wynonna or Rachel probably mentioned something about the marks on Waverly's neck
which caused the pair to blush but they didn't care

*Nicole speechless, gasping, face turning red*
"Why are we here again?" Waverly whined as she pushed the shopping cart behind Nicole.
"To find a new chair" Nicole replied happily "we need a new chair since Wynonna and Rachel broke the other one"
"Why do I need a new chair when I have your face to sit on" Waverly muttered, slowly dragging her feet.
Nicole managed to hear what Waverly had said and turned her head to face her wife. As Nicole stopped, Waverly looked up at Nicole's face and saw her face turn redder than her hair.
"Waves! We're in public" Nicole whispered as she moved closer to Waverly.
"Babe you know it's true, I would rather sit on your face than a chair," Waverly said as she wrapped her arms around Nicole's waist.
"I know but we still have to get one, I tried to stop Wynonna and Rachel from breaking the other one but you know they never listen," Nicole replied as she pressed a kiss on Waverly's head.
"Ugh, I know. We can never trust them again with any furniture or anything nice in the house again." Waverly said as she moved back to the cart and smiled at Nicole.
"I'll have a talk with them" Nicole chuckled and smiled "after we talk in our bedroom"
Waverly blushed and nodded as she followed behind her wife, noting how much fun shopping can be with Nicole.

"Baby" Waverly moaned, grinding onto Nicole's lap, hands wondering as hot kisses press across soft skin.
Waverly's hands make their way to Nicole's hair, a sign for the redhead to continue what she was doing. It wasn't every day that the pair had the Homestead alone for a long enough time for them to be intimate with each other.
As soon as Waverly started to pull on Nicole's hair and her hips seemed to go faster, Nicole knew was a clear sign for her to go rougher. It was no secret that Waverly enjoyed being rough in bed, most of the time Waverly preferred that Nicole was rough with her.
There was just something about the redhead that Waverly trusted, something she couldn't quite put a finger on. Knowing Waverly was in a rather distracted state, Nicole flipped the younger woman onto the bed and smiled. Causing Waverly to wrap her legs around Nicole and pulling her hair even harder.
"Oh" Waverly muttered as she saw the smirk on Nicole's face.
Without missing a beat, Nicole's mouth found its way back on Waverly's neck. This time leaving small marks as her kisses slowly turned into bitting motions. Causing Waverly to moan louder as her legs and arms wrapped even tighter around Nicole.
"You like that, princess?" Nicole asked as she whispered into Waverly's ear, knowing exactly what she was doing to her.
"God, yes! I need more, I want more" Waverly whined as her hands wonder under Nicole's shirt.
"More? How could I ever deny you, princess?" Nicole chuckled, noting that maybe it was a good idea that they were apart for so long.
With little time wasted, Nicole continued her previous task and continued to kiss and bite down on soft skin as she started to undress Waverly. Both didn't care about the time nor if anyone was about to come home.
"Baby" Waverly muttered.
"Shhhh, I know" Nicole replied, kissing Waverly on the lips.
Knowing how needy Waverly was, Nicole knew that they were gonna have a great night.

Nicole gets excited about valentine's day and throw a lotta cheesy pick up lines to Waverly
I feel like Nicole didn't like Valentine's Day until she met Waverly
like TBH when she was with Shae they were more low-key about it
as well the other girls Nicole dated were also lowkey about celebrating Valentine's Day
But everything changed when Nicole started to see Waverly and after they got married
Nicole had the whole day planned bc she wanted to surprise Waverly
and to prove that she was also a planner
so the whole Homestead was decorated with hearts and pink
which Rachel and Wynonna teased Nicole about
also, Nicole had a dinner planned out later that night
Waverly was surprised and happy about all the effort Nicole had put into the day
After surprising Waverly, Nicole started to say a lot of cheesy pickup lines
like "are you from Tennessee cause you're the only ten I see"
and "Do you have a map? Because I just got lost in your eyes"
Waverly thinks it's cute bc she finds Nicole's cheesy humor funny
and a lot better than Champ's crude humor
so whenever Nicole had the chance she would say a funny pickup line or a joke
causing Waverly to laugh and think how lucky she is to be with Nicole

“Are you a nice guy or a wise guy?” Waverly asked as she stared down Nic across the table.
“That doesn’t matter, I’m just your type” Nic smirked as they lean down on the table.
Waverly knew they were playing games with her, something her friends worried her about, warning her multiple times to be on guard. Little did they know, Waverly liked the games they play.
Something about the cat-and-mouse game excites her, making her want Nic more and more. Waverly knew what the other girls have to say about Nic, it was no secret that they were a player and had been popular with the girls on campus.
To be honest, Waverly was attracted to that fact but somewhat worried about Nic’s true feelings and interactions. Waverly has been hurt before and didn’t want that to happen again to her, after her last break up everyone on campus found out and start spending rumors and calling her names.
“How can I know that I can trust you?” Waverly asked as she took a sip of her tea, thinking about her past relationships and everyone else she dated before.
“I promise I’m not like them” Nic responded smiling, hoping that would reassure the younger girl.
Waverly wishes that answer eased her worries but it doesn’t, hearing that excuse a million times before from the other people she dated. Often that was an empty promise and she knew they could never hold up to the promise no matter home many times they say they won’t her.
“I can see you thinking, what is on your mind?” Nic asked, knowing that their answer probably didn’t ease any worry she had.
“What if you’re not home by half past three? Will you tell me if I’m not the only one? What if you FaceTime me, talking about much you love me and our future? How can I know you love me?” Waverly nervously rambled as she avoided Nic’s intense eyes or the growing feeling of anxiety.
“I know you've been hurt before, but I’m not like anyone else you dated. I won’t hurt you like everyone else, I hear the rumors on campus and I won’t let that happen to you again” Nic replied, gracing their hand over Waverly’s hand.
“You know I rather be by myself than have you lie to me” Waverly mutters, unsure to fully trust Nic at the moment. Thoughts of the past and the rumors surrounding them flood her mind and the fear overcomes the excitement of flirting with them.
“What can I do to help make sure you can trust me?” Nic asked, hoping for an easy answer.
“I need to see you change your ways, and make sure you won’t lie to me” Waverly replied.
“Ok, you got it,” Nic said confidently, knowing it would be a long journey ahead but they want to prove to Waverly they would do anything for her.
“You have a year to show me that you can change and won’t lie to me. If you can do that, we can move forward. Promise?” Waverly asked, knowing this deal will protect her and her feelings.
“Promise” Nic replied.
“Good, now are you going to buy me a drink?”

Can you do high school wayhaught? Waves is the head cheerleader but still the angel we know and love and Nicole is the captain of the basketball team but has the WORST temper (except when it comes to waves of course)
Head Cheerleader and most popular girl at school Waverly Earp
Badass and super bad temper basketball captain Nicole Haught
are the hottest and most popular couple at school
but it's funny bc they are the complete opposite of other
like Waverly goes volunteer every weekend, she has straight A's, she's in a million clubs
while Nicole has such a bad temper like anything can get her mad
she probably goes around and pushes kids into lockers or starts fights with them
everyone in the school is scared of Nicole and doesn't dare to mess with her
besides Champ and his friends, they don't care that Nicole can beat them up or anything
usually, the group with team up on Nicole in the hallways or after school and they would start something
but Nicole is stronger and would fight back
everyone is scared to do anything and usually one of them goes to find Waverly
honestly, Waverly is so used to this that she knows what to do
like when she gets there she pulls Nicole to the side or off to somewhere else
and whispers soft things to Nicole to help calm her down
it'll take about 10 minutes or so but it always does the trick
besides the fighting, Nicole is always in a bad mood in school for some reason
but when she's with Waverly she's ok
like they have lunch together and Waverly basically sits in Nicole's lap, which calms Nicole down
or if they are in class together they sit next to each other
bc if not Nicole would get mad or not pay attention
honestly, it's such a meme among their friends and families bc they are so different
but they don't care bc they are happy

Can you do a Headcanon where Nicole didn't come out until late in college, like her final year, and her serious college boyfriend is now one of her closest friends? He visits her in Purgatory, and their relationship completely throws Waverly off because he's Nicole's platonic soulmate. And it maybe makes Wynonna low-key jealous.
ok so I feel like Nicole grew up in an area where there weren't a lot of gay people or people who were in the community
growing up Nicole had crushes on girls but she didn't know why
and just brushed it off since no one else she knew experienced this
so like Nicole had only dated boys throughout her life
in college, Nicole was pretty popular, she was the star basketball player and whatnot
since she was popular, she had guys ask her out
there was one guy she clicked with and she vibed with that asked her out during their freshman year
so throughout college Nicole had been dating this one guy consistently
and they actually were pretty cute
but something was off, that Nicole couldn't put her finger on it
like when they kissed or had sex Nicole wasn't fully feeling it
and Nicole mostly saw the guy as a close friend
finally, during senior year, Nicole realized she was gay
and it wasn't the guy's fault but she just realized that she was into women
tbh Nicole didn't know how to handle this and didn't want to hurt the guy's feelings
one day Nicole realized she needs to break up with the guy and live her true self
so she invited the guy over to her place and he can tell something was off
it took a while but Nicole came out and broke up with the guy
who surprisedly was not surprised and kinda knew for a bit
like he got the vibes since Nicole was acting a bit off
he fully accepts it and still wants to be Nicole's friend
Fast forward he comes to visit Nicole and Waverly was shook
bc Nicole and her ex were super close, they basically knew everything about each other
and acted the same way, making Waverly realize that they are platonic soulmates
which was so funny bc Wynonna walked into the room and was mad
that Nicole already had a platonic soulmate that she forgot to mention
so the whole time the ex was there Wynonna was being competitive and trying to test him on details of Nicole's life
which made Wayhuaght laugh the whole time

"It's freezing, go put on a shirt-" Waverly replied, blushing as Nicole walked past her to the dresser.
"Nah, you can warm me up." Nicole chuckled as she came up to Waverly and hugs Waverly from behind.
"Nic, you're gonna get sick if you don't get dressed!" Waverly muttered as she relaxed in Nicole's arms.
"Your body heat is gonna warm me up. Besides I'm always Haught" Nicole replied with a smile.
"I know you're Haught but that doesn't excuse you from wearing close!" Waverly giggled as Nicole shifted away.
"If I wear a shirt will you be happy?" Nicole teased as she grabbed a shirt from the bottom drawer.
"Yes," Waverly replied as she watched Nicole put on a shirt, "however, I do enjoy watching you take off clothes more than watching you put them on"
"Miss Earp, you're a tease," Nicole said before leaning in for a kiss.
"You're a bigger tease" Waverly whispered as she pulled away, "You're always causing us to be late for class"
"But it's worth it" Nicole chuckled before grabbing her bag and following Waverly out the door.

Bluebird in the spring, told me that your new girl makes you sing
Love comes and goes just like the bluebirds and the songs they sing during the spring. They said this love would last forever, they said my love was the reason why you could fly. But like the seasons changed, your love for me changed and my love only clipped your wings. If only if I knew that I couldn’t keep you, I wouldn’t love you as much as I did.
Truth be told, Waverly should have known that Nicole was never gonna be hers forever. She should have known her love was temporary like the season, but the words she said were as sweet as a bluebird’s song.
The warning signs were there, sweet praises and loving words became fair and in between, and soon they ceased altogether. Days sent together became infrequent and nights became colder and colder.
No one could prepare Waverly for the breakup, not even the distance and the cold nights alone. Waverly wanted to be the one for Nicole, the one that could make her happy and be with her forever. But as days turns into weeks and weeks turned into months, she knew it wouldn’t last.
The breakup wasn’t easy.
Neither was seeing Nicole with her new girl.
Waverly tried everything to ease the pain. Writing songs that she knew she would never send, not wanting to disrespect Nicole and her new relationship. Thoughts of catching a flight to somewhere new, just to cry on the beach somewhere warm like Rio. Anything to ease the pain of the breakup.
The days scrolling on social media and seeing how happy Nicole is with her new girl, seeing the sweet words she wrote didn’t help the pain or the forgetting process. Sweet words reminded her of the time she had with Nicole, the love she had with Nicole.
The love and time she was never going get back, but it was her time to take back her own life and control her own journey. The day Waverly knew she was ready, was the day her own bluebird was softly singing, her spring became warm again.
She was ready to be free.

Waverly finding out new little details about Nicole, like how Nicole is fluent in Sign Language, and falling more in love with her.
I feel like Nicole has a bunch of random fun facts that she never told anyone
like not even Waverly or Wynonna knows all of these details
but slowly over time Nicole slowly opens up and shares random details about herself
for example how she knows sign language
she probably learned it in college or when she was in the academy
bc she wanted to be able to communicate with more people
and Waverly never knew this bc she never saw Nicole sign before
but one day Nicole was helping someone at work and she had to sign
Waverly walks in and sees this
which cause her to be surprised but also make her heart melt
bc was so sweet and hella cute
after this Waverly probably mentioned it at lunch or something
which made Nicole blush and whatnot
soon Nicole started to share more small details about her life
like how she can play guitar or how she's great with kids
everytime Nicole mentions a detail or if Waverly finds out
Waverly falls more in love with Nicole
tbh Waverly thought Nicole was perfect before but Nicole keeps surprising her everyday
once Nicole found out that Waverly loves learning more, she keeps trying to surprise here more and more

I just rewatched WE again… Wynonna and Waverly grew up with abusive drunk father… I got reminded of it in 03x03 in the scene where Doc throws the glass… by the way Waverly flinched and Wynonna turned around. However, I feel like its strange this was not adressed by anyone 🤔 what do you think?
To be honest it's been a while since I rewatched WE. But I do think it's a bit strange that the way Waverly and Wynonna acted was never addressed by anyone.
However, there are moments or plot points in the overall WE series that were never addressed or talked about again. IDK if it's because there was not enough time in the episode to add in an extra scene.
For example, Shae was never talked about again after she left or the scene in the season 4 trailer where it has Waverly's last name is "Gibson" and not "Earp".
This probably doesn't answer your question but I do think it is weird that it was never addressed since Ward's abusive behavior has been a constant theme in the show. So it's a bit odd that no other character talked or reacted to the Earp's behavior to Doc throwing a glass.
I think it would be a great chance to add in some more character development or back story, as well it could have opened some doors for the viewers to learn more about the Earp's past.

(A/N: totally forgot this is from the Fluff List I reblogged. This is totally not fluff and didn't realize it until after I wrote the story.)
“It’s always been you, and it will always be you. Please never forget that.” Waverly whispers as she holds Nicole's hand.
The bright lights of the hospital room highlight the bruises on Nicole's face and the tired look in her eyes. This wasn't their first time in the hospital like this, ever since Nicole's promotion to Sheriff she was a frequent visitor.
This time felt different than the other times.
Maybe it was how severe the injuries were, or perhaps it was how tired Nicole was, or simply how they both wished Nicole's job was easier.
No matter what the reason behind the feeling was, Waverly was worried.
Worried about Nicole. Worried about what would come next.
"Waverly" Nicole mutters as her eyes slowly opened, trying to focus on Waverly's face.
It hurts Waverly to see Nicole like this, it hurts her to see Nicole push herself so hard at work. Late nights and early mornings, high risks, and frequent visits to the hospital were the roots of many fights.
No matter how much fighting the pairs get into they can never settle on a solution or work-life balance. Many nights Nicole found herself sleeping on the couch or Waverly crying softly in the car after Nicole missed another school event
All the fighting could never prepare them for the countless nights in the hospital or the pain they both face in these situations. Every time Waverly wishes and wishes that these visits become less frequent, hoping Nicole's injuries will be less severe.
Most times that is not the case.
As Waverly watches Nicole's monitors and the soft movements of her chest, she can't help but wonder how many more times she will see Nicole like this.
But no matter how many times she is in the blank room, she could never get used to this feeling or the pain and fear of what might come next.

Running errands for them when they are sick/ taking care of them. Waverly and Nicole are both not used to others being attentive to them
Wayhaught manages to get sick at the same time
It is rare for either of them to get sick and let alone sick at the same time
but the winter is pretty bad at Purgatory and it's that time of year when people are just getting sick
so Nicole probably got sick first like at work
and she, unfortunately, gave what she had to Waverly
which to be honest happens
it's kinda funny because neither of them wants to admit they're sick
and they try to do basic stuff like cook or go to work
but they were coughing and sneezing, they also had a low fever which cause them to feel gross
it got so bad the gang made them stay in bed
like Wynonna and Rachel noticed first, they made them stay in bed
probably Rachel made their meals since she's the best cook in the group
Doc and Wynonna were the ones to make sure the Homestead was intact and nothing was destroyed
while Jeremy was the one in charge of the Sheriff's Office and BBD
TBH Nicole and Waverly are not used to this
bc they were the ones that always were in charge or they are super independent
they both were kinda emo bc the whole gang teamed together to help them
it was cute bc everyone was super attentive to them and made sure they were doing well
like this is the first time that they had people watching closely and making sure they were ok
soon the pair recovered from whatever they had and it's all thanks to the team
to show the team how appreciative they are, Wayhaught had a dinner or something cute
Things like this made Wayhaught feel lucky to have found their found family
