Memories 2015 Disc 1 - 2

So I asked awhile ago when I said I was going back to watch every memories DVD they have released so far, if you would be interested in commentary from me as I did so. There were a lot of people who said yes, so here we are! I have officially watched BTS Memories of 2015. Here are my thoughts as I went. There were only 4 DVDs in this one. Reminder that these aren't going to be smoothly written out thoughts. You get these like I'm live reacting, texting my bestie or live tweeting. Lol it'll be in like bullet point format sort of, just... a commentary post as I go. Lol Hope you enjoy anyway! Let's go!

Disc 1:

BTS Live Trilogy Episode 1, BTS Begins Concert and Encore:

This was a concert only performed twice to promote their school trilogy albums. They performed it 150328 and 150329 in Korea. The opening VCR was so much softer this time with baby BTS pics of them from Middle and Highschool. But they also definitely kept up the rebellious students/mean teacher theme from 2014 too.

Jump with a backpack dance break was amazing. Jimin and Jhope dance battle is insane and I love how it's from 2015 and still resurfaces on twt/YouTube all the time. Tae hyping Jimin and saying he practiced the choreo with him and Jin hyping Jhope and trying out his moves was all so cute. We are Bulletproof pt 1 is such an amazing song. I wish we got more from it release wise on an album somewhere or even just put it on Spotify. Please! Lol love how they transitioned that straight into pt 2 though too. And the fact that they performed No More Dream and NO in legit bulletproof vests?! Those HAD to be heavy.

Tae's voice during tomorrow, please! 😭 Jimin's highnotes at the end of Do You Think This Makes Sense makes me wanna cry everytime. Goodness. And the HOLD that Yoongi's verse in Converse High has on me is insane. I do love that song. Lol and this was their premiere of that song for the first time! Hobi is bias wrecking me SO HARD through this entire concert. My goodness. Rapline makes me question my entire bias line anytime they perform a rapline unit song on stage, especially during Cypher when Joon yells "Bitch, I'm a monster" He is SO COOL. Jin causally ruffling and fluffing his hair as he sings like an angel a d struts down the stage like he isn't killing us all in the best way. Jungkooks vocals during Attack on Bangtan 😭😭😭

Excuse me, wtf happened that I missed and why did Jimin randomly come up to and push JK while laughing after they were all wildly hip thrusting during War Of Hormone?! Lol and Tae with the ass slaps, why was that part of their choreo? I swear 🤣

Boyz with Fun will always be a favorite of mine. And the guys all hyping up producer Suga for writing the song and for writing Let Me Know from their last album. Just out here reminding me once again why Yoongi is my bias. Lol imagine hobi singling you out in the crowd during a concert to sing half his verse of Miss Right to. Did anyone check on her after this concert? Did she survive?!

Namjoon first telling Jimin he is the real baby of their group while helping him get his jacket on for Boy in Luv. lol Then during ending speeches when Jimin is saying he isn't as good at giving cool speeches like Rapmon hyung, Joon interupts and goes "it's okay, you have a great body." Lmfao Hobi getting all emotional and saying all their families were in the crowd that night too. All their ending speeches always make me wanna cry and give them hugs every single time. And they are ending the concert with Born Singer, legit they are out to make everyone sob with that one. Jungkook basically sings almost the entire time too with harmonies and verses and ad libs, he sounds so heavenly even at the end of a 2.5 hour concert.

BTS Begins Concert Making Film:

They were filming when it was freezing cold out. Staff waiting to give them jackets whenever they were off camera. Jin being shy about acting too cool for school. Lol and Jimin struggling with sitting cool on the seesaw while JK just gleefully spins like a crazy person on the spinning roundabout ride. Jimin joining him and getting VERY dizzy. JK pretending to try and make a fire to warm them up while Jimin is just giggling his butt off watching him in the back.

The way they all fanboyed over the actor who is playing the teacher and telling him about seeing him in a movie before this. Lol

Aww Jhope giving Jimin heart hair to express their love for ARMY and JK saying it was like his hairstyle from NO. And they were all so cold, you could tell, all wearing Hot Packs under their clothes, Jin wearing 12 of them! Lol directors tell them to hang around together. BTS randomly starts dancing to no music and acting goofy. Editors: "doing a weird group dance." Except there is Jungkook, standing slightly off to the side watching them all and looking slightly like "what in the world are they doing?"

Tae was dancing so hard he accidentally ripped his pants!! Lmfao and Jimin scolding Suga for filming his butt while he was trying to cover it and walk away. 🤣🤣 Poor Tae.

The Taekook clip of Tae kicking the ball at JK, hitting him and sending his phone flying only for JK to chase after him out the door, only to have them end up cuddling for a nap later is from this video! I love this clip and loved seeing it in full! Love how it started out with Vhope Goofing off and kicking it around with each other first too. And the way that Jihope are playing tag on rolling chairs during this chaos too, not much practicing at the start of this dance practice. Lol love seeing them have fun. Jhope and Jimin also talking about how they just became roommates and Jimin is not sure it was a good idea. Only for them to become "eternal roommates" 🥺🥺

The Born Singer practice is legit so cute and funny. The way they all shuffled their feet around to spin in a circle since the dance floor doesn't spin like the stage does. Lol JK rapping Namjoons verse with him and how endeared everyone was by it, especially Jimin. Everyone holding hands to spin in a circle again and Vmin linking their fingers together. 🥺 and performing Born Singer seemed to make all the members emotional and want to cry along with us. JK saying it's hard not to cry when everyone else is and Jimin going "aww you are still a baby" and JK going "No, i didn't cry though!" Sooo cute.

While getting ready for Day 2, Jimin says "our fans might think I cried during Born Singer yesterday, but I really didn't." Editors: "I think you did..." they never let them breathe 😂 Zooming in on JK crying is not fair though. Not at all 😭 someone hug him!

They work SO hard. So unbelievably hard. They love ARMY so much and each other and what they do. Suga said he stayed up until 5am practicing and Namjoon said he said up super late working on his mixtape. They were all so nervous everytime before getting on stage, only to always kill it!

Discs 1 and 2 complete! I'll make a part 2 (and maybe part 3) for the other 2 discs to prevent this post from being too long! But Im loving this so far! They are so cute and I'm loving seeing the way they have already grown and some dynamics and started shifting around a tiny bit just from 2014 memories. Most of this is more official content and less of them just playing around together so far, but it is truly amazing to get to see it all! Disc 3 is more concert performances and I'm excited!! Thanks for letting me share!

I am so incredibly entranced by this exchange between Fedyor and Nina and what it represents, it's very interesting that they pushed up their storyline to match with the timeline

STAG VISION TIME

despite my dislike for the callous nature with which the stag plotline was handled, I kind of dig the stag vision scene

'It's just me and you now, Alina. And we're all we need, anyway.' I actually feel bad for this old fool simping for this wonderful gorgeous powerful woman despite lying to her and manipulating her and exploiting her power

okay 'I never needed you' *stabs the bone fragment out of his hand* beautiful power move I fucking love you so so much

alright ben looking like ✨ that✨ not only in physical pain but also emotional pain at what the Darkling clearly considers another betrayal from this girl he wants to give the world and maybe? loves? maybe? or at least has feelings for makes my fucking heart hurt while simultaneously soar at Alina taking back control and reclaiming her power as her own and stepping into her own

'how do you claim such power' okay could have had better dialogue there writers

the fucking score lifting as she says 'you cannot claim what was not given to you' good people my heart is full

one day I'll talk about my defense of the chosen one trope because god damn I kind of love it

hmm I wonder was that brief hesitation that we saw on Alina's face due to her thinking about the 'you chose to betray our people' comment or the 'i was trying to save us' comment because that will define some of her actions in the later seasons (hopefully god if we get some, I honestly don't know what with this stupid brownface debacle)

I'm not saying talking about brownface and pointing out that it is wrong (for further context, I am actually brown) and harmful is stupid btw I'm talking about the incidents involving brownface in question

I don't wanna talk about this anymore but I might feel like I need to and end up posting about it idk

goodness Ivan actually believing in this cause makes me so sad because he too has been victimized by the system that ostracizes Grisha and he has every right to feel the way that he does

Ben actually fighting in that ridiculously heavy cloak and kefta when he's about to turn 40 this year makes me super impressed because I as a 19 year old sometimes wake up with muscle pulls after weeks of inactivity it's weird idk

also I understand that this Mal Darkling fight is completely fanservice and serves nearly no purpose to the plot in general but like I? love it?

maybe it's because I know Darkles will survive and will come out of it more powerful but I can't get myself to feel bad for him at the moment

Inej and Mal tearing up at Alina's condition made me almost feel something despite it being super obvious she was gonna be fine and save their asses at the last moment

HER POWER

a solitary Kaz in spotted on the western side of the newly expanded fold in his signature all black emo boy look

okay but the crows with zoya and malina is such an adorable team? I literally love them so much?

INEJ'S FUCKING SMILE AT ALINA GIVING HER THE DAGGER AND KAZ LOOKING AT HER AGSGSGSHSJSJSK MY HEART CAN'T TAKE THIS ANYMORE

okay I know they had one interaction but Mal and Jesper would be besties in another universe

okay why do I love that Alina kept the jewellery as maybe a small nod to she has the wits to, um, you know, I don't wanna say steal, but, um, yeah, steal it because she knew she would need money to survive on the run

it's like every single celeb I grow attached to god's like nope that one is going to do or say something problematic (hey btw im not reassigning blame to god for stuff people have done out of their own free will, 'twas a joke)

AAAAAAAH them saying 'the deal is the deal' in the show even though they didn't have to but like they did and I love them for it

I wish the hug hadn't been done though, it didn't feel earned

maybe Alina awkwardly and half-heartedly (remember, at this point the alliance is fresh and they still don't entirely trust each other) reached for a hug and Zoya avoided her? and then the rest of Zoya's lines followed? that would have made more sense to me at least

I love Sujaya as well, she brought life into Zoya with whatever little screentime and scraps of writing she got

I know people were annoyed at the meadow flashbacks but guess what? as a darklina, I loved them

'now that the Darkling is dead' could have phrased that a little differently my dudes that line needed to hold more weight

am I glad that they showed Darkles in this state with his nichevo'ya as a tasty little cliffhanger despite not being entirely true to the source material? maybe but only because Ben Barnes saying 'follow' and the nichevo'ya doing exactly so sent a chill down my spine

well, that's it for now, I'll have to move on I guess, get back to my real life which I'm obviously not ready to do

it was quite short (less than 2 months), considering the length of my other obsessions but it was definitely more intense than the other ones

Revolution Theme, Part 3: Lone Ranger

So, several weeks ago, I got a hankering to rewatch the Governor’s episodes (4x06-4x07) because I hadn’t watched them in quite some time and I suspected that based on what we’ve learned in the past year, I would find lots of new and exciting things. I’m going to get to that tomorrow, but first I wanted to post this short theory to sort of bridge the gap between all the Revolution stuff I’ve been talking about the past few days, and the Governor.

Let’s talk the Lone Ranger. And I keep calling it Lone Ranger symbolism, but it ties into the Smokey and the Bandit trailer from S7 and all the western/cowboy type symbolism we’ve seen.

So, as I said in my Fear writeup (for ep 6x16) I noticed that right before Daniel executed Rollie for being a traitor, Sarah called him Kemosabe. It just caught my ear and the first thought I had was, “isn’t that the Indian guy from the Lone Ranger?” Well, I was close, but it’s not. (Clearly, I’m not terribly well versed in the Lone Ranger universe.) The Native American character in TLR is Tonto. Kemosabe is his nickname for TLR, which depending on the source usually means something along the lines friend, trusted scout, ally, etc.

So, in general this was just a mention of the Native American theme. But then I thought about how she called Rollie that right before they realized he was a traitor. And I wondered if TLR symbolism could be about that.

That’s when I had a lightbulb moment. If you think back to that trailer in S7, it was Daryl and Richard hiding behind it. And what happened there? Richard was planning to kill Carol, which he backed off of because, um, Daryl. But he still ended up hiding the melon and betraying Ezekiel, which got Benjamin killed. Do you see?

Rollie betrayed the group in Fear, and Daniel executed him. Richard betrayed the group in S7, and soon after, Morgan killed him. So, this symbolism is about betrayal followed by death.

But I also wondered why they would use The Lone Ranger or Smokey and the Bandit as betrayal symbolism. So, I looked them up.

Again, not terribly familiar with the Lone Ranger, but it’s origin story will definitely make you side-eye. Apparently TLR was one of six rangers out riding, looking for some outlaws, but they are betrayed by one of their own group and ambushed. (Hence why the writers of TWD use this for betrayal symbolism.)

Side note: even the ranger thing is important. They’re law enforcement officers who could be thought of synonymous with “sheriffs.” And what state is most famous for its rangers? That would be Texas.

Anyway, the six rangers are ambushed and all of them are “killed” but when Tonto comes upon the scene, he finds that one of them, the youngest and younger brother of the leader, has survived. *coughs Beth* Left behind and left for dead.

So, Tonto nurses him back to health and they become besties. So begins the series, with TLR mostly on a mission to get revenge for his fallen brother. And get this, he and Tonto bury the rangers, but to aid in the deception, they even dig a 6th, empty grave so the bad guys will believe all six of the rangers did, in fact, die. Remember that grave that was supposed to hold Maggie in S7?

Anyway, Smokey and the Bandit is less clear. There’s not an obvious betrayal plot, but I still side-eyed when I read through it. It’s about driving contraband alcohol from Texas to Georgia. Yeah. And aside from the obvious TD symbolism, it made me thing of Fear. Of Sarah and her distillery and her semi-truck. I mean, it’s practically the same plot. Okay, not really. But close enough. I think it’s safe to say that, at least on one level, the S7 trailer was pointing toward Fear. But other things, too.

Can we all say Beth-ish origin stories?

Can you put all your Season 7 theories in one place?

Hi Anon,

Sure, they are a bit all over the place on my blog right now. As always some bit of information could show up tomorrow and change things.

Here’s what I’ve got so far:

Season 7 is going to have almost a “monster of the week format” but rather than monster of the week its ‘saving this point/person in history” this week. With every mission weaving into the major and overarching story of the stopping the Chronicoms and setting up the end.

Some points in time/people will be super big/important/involved and might take a couple of episodes to resolve.

Eras, point in time, or people on my radar.

1930/31 Premiere a Governor FDR or young Stark, Rogers are targets. Whatever happens here is what eventually leads to Shield coming about and why the Chronicoms are messing with it.

1940/50 This is where they pick up Envers AKA Sousa. Again NO Peggy sorry folks I am not seeing it. Here w could also see the Playground again....sniff....and again the Chronicoms are targeting Shield before it fully gets off the ground and established.

1960/70 General Stoner and the set up of the Lighthouse

Young Phil Coulson once the Chronicoms realize who Shield is using for their intel.

The Fall in Season 1

Events of Daisy Becoming Inhuman in Season 2 also a chance for Cal/Jaiying to return.

“We had time” Fitzsimmons had up to 5 years with Enoch to make the upgrades and plans they did. This time possibly covering the Snap as well.

Fitzsimmons had a child during this time is my out there die on the hill I shouldn’t be so attached too theory but here we are. The child could be nearly 5 if Jemma was pregnant int he finale.

The Child is in hiding with Fitz.

Option 2 is they allowed themselves to be put pack in those mind things from Inescapable or the Framework in order to get a lot of work done in an shorter amount of time.

Either way they had time together before they had to say goodbye for what will be the last time.

Fitzsimmons watched the team, their family, die in the temple originally as they wouldn’t have gotten out before the Chronicoms blew it up had Jemma not arrived when she did. Meaning Mack, Elena, Daisy, and Deke died along with May.

This loss of their family could have also provided them for crossing lines they might now have wanted to previously in terms of Time Travel, LMD’s, and whatever else they have up their sleeves.

Also looking for this to have an effect on how Jemma is with Deke in Season 7. She’ll need him more than ever having to be separated from Fitz and possibly child Something he started they will have finished too.

Their first “saving time” mission was saving the core team from the temple.

Fitz will eventually be discovered and captured/kidnapped

Robo Coulson 2.0 gets captured/kidnapped

We haven’t seen the last of the Monoliths

Elena will get new arms

She and Mack are going to be a strong and united couple for most of the Season.

Someone sings....my money is on Clark, Chloe, or Jeff.

There will be fallout especially between Mack and Daisy and perhaps Fitzsimmons over Robo Coulson 2.0.

Robo Coulson 2.0 finding his humanity will be a major arc for next season.

I’m prepared to see May more quiet and withdrawn, similar to Season 1 as she deals with what is going to be a complicated situation with Robo Coulson 2.o and her feelings.

Deke and Daisy especially are going to continue to grow and really come into their own.

Early ending Predictions.

Robo Coulson 2.0: Gets his wishes honored, whatever he decides they are by the time the series ends. However he is high in the Heroic Sacrifice worry list. Though I would love to see him survive and be one of the first professors at the Academy that bears his name.

May: Retires, she’s died enough (seriously writers enough), and keeps Coulson’s Legacy going with the Academy.

Daisy: Becomes Director of Shield.

Mack: I have a bad feeling about Mack because I don’t see him retiring/quitting for the 300th time so soon after taking over and I feel Daisy’s arc has always been leading her towards becoming Director. I worry he falls in the final battle.

Elena: Need to see how things shake out but she’ll either stay with Daisy as part of the new generation or go lone wolf after losing Mack.

Fitzsimmons: I will Die on the hill that after spending a fair amount of Season 7 separated (don’t @ me on this one its filmed its happening) between Fitz in hiding and inevitably kidnapped, and one heck of a heart stopping fake out, that they will be reunited, help save the world, and then go off to start their happily ever after. The Baby Bomb is dropped at some point before the end. And I wouldn’t be surprised if in all the time saving Fitzsimmons weren’t quietly prepping where they would land.

Deke: Too soon to call. He has the beginnings of a hero arc ala Mace was on and we all know how that one ended. I would prefer to think he makes it and buys Nana and Bobo that castle in Scotland and they all work happily in a lab together. BUT I can also see him finally finding his place in Shield and he’s part of the new generation with Daisy as he takes over the Lab for Fitzsimmsons. Mack’s toast “to those whose journey’s are just beginning” a possible hint.

Enoch: I’m attached, he’d better live but its too soon to call. Once the Hunters are stopped he leads what is left of of his people. He is also dangerously High in the Heroic Sacrifice list, especially if it comes down to saving his bestie.

I’m sure I’ve missed one or two but its late. Hope that helps having most of them in one spot for now.

The 100 6x09 discussion - Kane’s gone... O’s back bitches! And Bellarke’s besties?

This was a fantastic episode. Filled with emotions, action, and morality. But I needed a little more from certain scenes. It’s such a shame that this show only has 13 episodes, which results in the pace being way too fast and certain things left out. And the anomaly still remains well, an anomaly.

Since I’m pressed for time today, this will be short, I can’t go into too much detail but I will do a detailed Bellarke discussion tomorrow. That said, let’s get into the recap.

Bloodreina no more

So, Octavia wakes and remembers nothing from the anomaly. Convenient. This will most certainly come back into play. Like I said before and Gabriel confirmed, that is a younger version of Octavia. They’re saving the best details for last.

The red sun toxin makes any living being want to kill themselves, and humans weren’t supposed to survive on the moon, yet they found a way - Hmmm interesting, what does this mean for the future of our beloved heroes.

Even though O knows the dangers, she takes the toxin anyway to help Gabriel and Diyoza in some way I suppose. If they find out how the anomaly works, they can save her.

It seems like she followed the red light because she needed redemption and what better way than to throw her in the fighting pit herself. Like Bloodreina said in 5x02, “The Gladiators were given a chance to fight for their freedom and so will you.” She needed to battle the monster inside in order to be freed.

That scene with Pike returning was A-MA-ZING and the callbacks to Lincoln’s death a much-needed propeller. Kudos to the writers here. Both Marie and Michael delivered a spectacular performance and conviction of her redemption. Her past is filled with horrible features and some argue she doesn’t deserve it, but if you have true remorse, atonement can be given to anyone.

It’s fitting that Pike was the angel and Bloodreina the devil in her head. The loathed Skaikru leader killed the love of her life which triggered the hate inside of her. Octavia’s ‘unnecessary’ vengeance gave birth to Skairippa. He symbolizes her verge of evil while Bloodreina was her complete descent into darkness. All she needed was a hand to pull her back into the light.

Fun fact, Einstein actually never said, “Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results is the definition of insanity.”

One last thing - I like Gabriel and Octavia’s relationship and I feel something blooming here.

May we meet again, Kane

First off, I cringed at the Gavin!Kane and Abby scenes. I literally could not watch. It was awful knowing that it’s Kane but not really him, it felt like Abby was cheating and it was just a big no from me. I’ve never been a Kabby fan, mostly because I’ve never liked Abby’s character but they loved each other. I’d like to hear what Kabby shippers thought of it?

What I did appreciate is that he acknowledged his scars as a part of him. No matter how much we try to deny it, our past makes us who we are, the good, the bad and the ugly. He learned from his mistakes, each one of them and tried to do better. Like Abby pointed out, he symbolized hope.

Every week I question why the nulls worship the primes, and now it makes a little more sense. Gavin’s wife believes he’s still in there - they have no idea how it works. They are blind to the fact that hosts are murdered and replaced with chips. Their society assumes the primes are reborn within the eligible bodies - that the primes are indeed gods.

Applause to Raven this episode. Sure, she wasn’t a centerpiece, but her actions saved the day. Her asking Kane about the acceptance of his new body set they’re whole plan in motion. I’m also glad that she acknowledges helping Abby as a mistake, which shows that she does question her own moral compass, unlike previous episodes.

Talk about great platonic relationships - Kane and Indra are one of my favorites. Their deep level of respect for each other is always a pleasure to witness. Indra is and always has been a strong and supportive character. She explains why the Sanctum lifestyle is not much different than their own but Kane has changed, he condemns all their previous actions and convinces her to take the right path.

I knew Kane wouldn’t be happy with his new body, yet I didn’t expect the sacrifice. And once again well-done to the writers for giving him a heroic death and a heartwrenching sendoff. Say what you want, but someone needed to get rid of the nightblood serum and he used his new body for a good cause.

And now they have Simone as a hostage and a bargaining chip!

I won’t let you die - was not what Bellamy should’ve said

I have no idea what to make of this. And I’m gonna go into a lot of detail with Bellarke tomorrow but it needs to be said that calling them besties is disturbing. Josephine tells Bellamy that he’s killing all three of them including his friends and asks if Clarke is really worth it. He doesn’t respond, but struggles with the decision. Because even though he knows she’s trying to break him, it’s true.

One question, why do they keep using the word ‘care’? “... unless someone you care about is in trouble, then you do what has to be done.” Do best friends not love each other? I love mine, very much. Monty and Jasper loved each other and acknowledged it, why not here?

Josephine then calls him out on caring more about Clarke. This is a circus. It’s hurting both Bellamy and Echo’s characters. Echo is a spy, smart and witty, yet she hasn’t questioned his ‘dedication’ to Clarke once. I know she’s not the jealous type, but if Josie, Jordan and 90% of the viewers see it, she must surely notice it too. And her being all acceptive is not believable.

Not to mention it’s making Bellamy look like an ass for abandoning all his friends and his girlfriend (who is supposed to be his first priority) to save his ‘bestie’.

So, Josephine is still in love with Gabriel? Wow, wasn’t expecting that one. Which results in Diyoza being wrong about her just looking to get laid and ultimately about “The hostage-taker and his girlfriend.”

And Clarke Griffin has a sense of humor. B-O-O-H-O-O! Loved that little morse code line. But the “I won’t let you die” afterward, is bs. The intensity in that scene is palpable. He looks at her with so much compassion when he finds out she can hear him like there’s so much he wants to say. “I love you.” for one? I believe he realizes she might die and wants to, but decides he won’t let it happen and tells her that instead. It’s so sincere, that it scares Josephine.

Again, the term ‘besties’ is frustrating as hell. Well, they are, I guess. It just gives me the idea that the writers have decided to go the Harry-Hermione route with them. Wasting six seasons of development and immense potential in the process. But while they’re both breathing, I’ll still have hope.

Badass Clarke is the absolute freakin’ best. Taking down three people by herself, teaching herself to drive a motorcycle and speak Mandarin via Josie’s mind - Standing ovation.

Once again we see Bellarke’s bond when Clarke refuses to leave without Bellamy and he, in turn, refuses to let her stay - just let it be for heaven’s sake.

School 2017 Episode 9

First, let me tell you that I wanted to review this show episode per episode from day one but life has been really busy lately, so I choose not to. But it turns out School 2017 gets better and better each week and it has all the elements to call it “my kind of crack”. I’m no less busy but who cares when this show is giving me life?! Let’s move on to what matters, get ready because I have a lot to say:

What the fudge did Hee-chan do to Bo-ra last year? Why isn’t she talking? And what exactly did Dae-hwi cover up? It’s clear Hee-chan’s violent nature is a result of the pressure his family puts on him to excel at school and his feeling of entitlement come from the fact he never suffered the consequences of his actions, protected by his mother or -as we find out today- Dae-hwi himself. I’m not trying to excuse him for the things he has done, keeps doing and probably will do in the next episode, but I guess the show has made it possible to see where he’s coming from and why he’s like this. The fact he has no real support system in his friends (they’re totally the ones spreading the rumors in order for him to do badly in the finals) is also a factor of what I believe will be his debacle. I don’t know if in the next few episodes he will be able to redeem himself but I do hope he suffers a take down. His mother too. Mainly, I’m hoping Bo-ra speaks up because it would meant a lot of character growth for her. She has isolated herself thanks to an abusive ex boyfriend, Dae-hwi’s wrongdoings and a teacher who betrayed her trust. But today’s flashback gave me hope that perhaps she will be able to recover that spark that made call Hee-chan on his behavior and dump his ass.

I feel the rest of the episodes in the show will be more about Dae-hwi correcting all the the things he has done wrong in the past year since his friend died. I have to give credit to the show because at the beginning Dae-hwi seemed like the perfect put together, good student, handsome boy next door, and even when Tae-woon was constantly warning us about his “true nature”, I couldn’t quite grasp why. The first time I saw what Tae-woon was talking about was when Dae-hwi assessed -outside the coffeeshop- that his former friend has feelings for Eun-ho and throw it in his face like a threat, right after she told him she had protected him by not saying anything about the stolen exam. From then on the show has properly develop this character for what he truly is: a misguided and lonely boy, with no real support from his family, spinning out of control. And today’s episode showed us a little more on just how far Dae-hwi was actually capable to go in order to get ahead. I’m a little afraid to find out what he has been covering up for the rich kids, I don’t believe it’s only Hee-chan he has dirt on, but at the same time I feel expectant of what he could do with all that. While Tae-woon has been running around school “outing” the corrupt ways of the faculty and students, it’s really Dae-hwi the one who has the information to actually change something.

As for their broken bromance, nothing will change until Dae-hwi is willing to let go of his need of survival. Don’t get me wrong, in a way I’m proud of him for all his hard work but it’s the way he has achieved that perfect school record that taints his character, when I can see that at his core he’s a good kid. It’s the same reason why he feels like he can’t keep on dating Nam-joo. When he found out the truth about her, he wasn’t disappointed or hurt because she lied to him -he understands and knows her reasons- but he realized a big part of the attraction was because he believed her to be rich. Which of course hit right into all of Nam-joo’s insecurities and gave her even more misguided reasons to feel like she’s less or ashamed because her father is a taxi driver, when in reality she should be proud that he’s a decent and hardworking man, trying to make a living for his family and doting on her like the sun rises and sets with her. Nam-joo has been so far a small character but I want to see more of her storyline. This lie is bound to be exposed one way or another.

Personally, I think Dae-hwi and Nam-joo really like each other and now that there’s no longer a wall of lies between them, I hope they can find a way to patch things up. They never really got the chance to be themselves around each other or actually enjoy their romance.

As for the other characters like Sarang, guitar boy Kyung-woo, and precious soul Byung-goo, I hope they get more storyline in the next few episodes. I would love to see them team up with Tae-woon and Eun-ho.

Speaking of which... I have sold my soul to this couple. I love the relationships that are based on friendship and mutual understanding of each other, which is why Tae-woon and Eun-ho keep on giving me all the feels week after week. Yes, they are incredibly cute together and their chemistry is undeniable but one of my favorite things about them is that they are their own person, apart from how they are together. Can I say they are a couple? Unofficially, at least. Although I’m pretty sure it was made official today in a low-key way when Tae-woon declared he will do whatever he felt like it or when he made it clear to Hee-chan why he was meddling in her business; and Eun-ho gave him the thumps up with a knowing look and smile at the school’s corridor. These two.

Tae-woon isn’t perfect and I love him even more because of it. It’s been a pleasure to see him work through his grief over the loss of his friend with the help of Eun-ho, making it possible for him to actually start caring for others and meddle once again into Dae-hwi’s life. The thing about Tae-woon is that he seems to have no filter and a bad temper, this makes his reconciliation with his bestie a lot harder than it should be. I wish they could have a proper talk, one where they are not staring daggers into each other and actually speak about what happened a year ago. Why aren’t they friends anymore? Did they gradually come apart or did they really just throw punches at each other the minute Joon-ki was no longer in the picture? Did Tae-woon ever talk about the accident with Dae-hwi? Or about what his father had done?

Of course, that same no filter and bad temper does wonders when he goes Alpha Man in order to protect his lady’s honor or when he dotes and worries about Eun-ho. He was behaving like such an Oppa today, it got me all giddy. I love it when he becomes Tae-Swoon, which it’s something that comes natural for him when he is around Eun-ho. Yeah, floor meet Tae-Swoon.

Hee-chan and his mother clearly have plans for Eun-ho but they are very wrong if they think she has no support. This is what I worry about on this subject: whatever Tae-woon does in order to protect Eun-ho, his father won’t let him take the fault for anything. So, what if his father tries to do something similar as to what he did with Joon-ki and his family but with Eun-ho’s? Maybe this will be a breaking point for Dad and Tae-woon. In the last two episodes, Dad seemed to have been trying with his son and I grasped that maybe he’s just rough around the edges; that he had to raise Tae-woon by himself and had no-one who could help him see another way of doing things. I hope these two can work things out too because they are adorable and funny.

As for Eun-ho, aka Wonder Smile, I love her to pieces. She is caring, sweet and a truly happy kid who loves her friends and family, who genuinely tries to get along with everyone and is willing to work really hard to achieve her dream. She’s everything the rich kids aren’t, even when they had a hundred more opportunities and chances than her to achieve what they want. She’s also everything that Dae-hwi isn’t thanks to the lack of parent guidance. Eun-ho’s family is key to understand the way she is. Dad, Mom and even Oppa adore her and support her, even when they might not have a dime for her to assist extra classes, but the fact that she has grown to be such a good person shows that money isn’t everything. That it doesn’t make you a better person or student.

Tomorrow, Eun-ho will be going against Hee-chan and I know she will thrive, but I hope that people (apart from her family and Tae-woon) will come through for her like she has done for everyone else.

Episode 1 - “Okay, I’m back so fucking buckle up” - Trace

But not two minutes into the game and I'm already stressed out of my mind to see that Nehemiah is here. I swear to god if that kid decides to fuck up my game YET AGAIN, I will lose my fucking mind.

Timmy doesn't seem like a gemini. He seems a little boring. Maybe I'll make a f2 deal with him. That seems predictable though.

Okay, I'm back so fucking buckle up.

This is an interesting twist. I really hope we don't get targeted because I filmed my introduction for 5 minutes. that would suck.

Also, am I the only one that thinks Devon on the Leo tribe looks like Bertram from the show Jessie?

Also, willow, my sign partner seems cool from the one exchange we've had. Hopefully we can work together in this game.

Ok, matt the saggitarius seems really cool. His entire introduction was memes which I approve of. He may be a social threat down the road as he seems very likable.

So anyway the twist of our two person tribes is that we must vote out an entire star sign. This is supposed to be taken sort of as a "first impressions" vote.

The way I see it it would make the most sense to vote for a star sign pairing with a winner since they have already made it to the end in the series and got the votes to win. I think that narrows it to two people (I could be wrong as I am on my phone looking at stuff and it is unreliable.

Owen and Kait have won and Kaits win is less relevant in my eyes since she has gotten sixteenth on her following games. So it makes sense to me to target Owen's sign.

On the other side of this, should we or others choose to target players they perceive as annoying or a liability in the game I think my sign has a high likelihood of being first gone. Nehemiah does not have the best reputation and some might see it better to vote him out before he stirs the pot.

I dont blame them.

Anyway, I kind of like this twist and if I am one of the first out and it's not a twisted twist where we go to redemption island or something to that effect I want my survivor avatar for this season to not be Lil but to be changed to Wanda Shirk.

I am aggrivated at the fact that Matt S. does not know the correct way to eat an oreo.

I sware everyone in this season is from Chicago except for me.

hmm.... this ascension twist is funny. I am crying laughing because i was like, so timmy, who do we think we should go for? and he was like... nehe hates me.

JOIN THE CLUB. this is the only time that i think a vendetta worked in my favor! so luckily me and timmy are on the same page and hopefully nehemiah is packed up before the game even begins.

I am going to be paranoid quite honestly all day long, because if nehe doesn't like both me and timmy, then that is a big problem for me. also gemini's are batshit, so people could target us for that reason alone. I am hoping that some people will look at other star signs that have really big players and target them, but i'm not idiot. the sheer number of seasons I have played already puts a major target on my back.

I hate this because I basically just have to sit back and watch. but hopefully the pisces will be sent packing and trace will live to see another cracked out day.

Ok so this twist got me big mad. Like I’m happy I don’t have to try to message many people, but only one other person...and this twist wtf. But I’m happy it’s Trace because he seems cool yet here I am being a dead lobster because I suck at having good opening conversations. But I want to talk about the cast I can remember, or at least all I feel like typing right now. Trace and I want the pisces out and thank god because nehe hates me so that’s exactly what I want so it’s lit. Chips is ok but still I’ve fought him in orgs before so it’s for the best that he goes too. Owen and Stevie are scary and this probably is a perfect time to get rid of them but I guess that’s how they (mainly Owen) go far since they know how not to be the biggest threat while still technically being a threat. Maynor is a king...but the last game I played with him I idoled him out so that’s a thing, hopefully we can work on that though because he is a friend. OH OH OH CULLANS INTRO VIDEO OMG THAT WAS A RIDE. Like omg it was over 5 minutes long and he just kept going and I loved every second of it. I’ll look at the rest of the cast tomorrow so expect another cast assessment. Stay litty.

Ok, so I’m looking at the cast reveal now so I’ll talk about those who I haven’t yet. Renée: I think I’ve see Renée around before and like I feel she does well a lot...she might be the one who has won bb Pokémon but idk, if so, gotta keep an eye out. Chole: we stan a European queen like love her accent and she seems cool. Ian: idk who that is and...idk their intro is sports so who cares. Timmy: oh fuck that ugly bitch, they don’t know how to have a social game so they’re gonna flop majorly because they suck. Jacob: honestly idk how I feel about Jacob. I like him more as a person than i have previously like I respect him, but idk how this game will go. Madison: oh she scary and I love her with all my heart and yea but she scary. Idk who Corey and Devon are. Stephen: I LOVE STEPHEN. So I was in his first game ever, which was also Madison’s first game, so they’re family because that cast honestly is tight. At least we were, but I love them all and he is such a good person and I want to play this game with him but idk how it’s going to go. Either way he is one of my favorite people in the community because he is nice and real. Also side note, i was in Maynors first game too (different game than Stephen and Madison) and he won so he’s scary but I love him because I knew him from his start. Idk Taylor but we stan. There are 12 cast reveals so imma stop here because I’m so tired.

First of all, I have never done Tumblr Survivor until now and right of that bat, I'm confused as fuck. My partner, Kait, seems extremely nice and we were forced to be besties day 1. She seems to know more about this community than me so hopefully she can help. I noticed that Beastman (Matt B.) was in this game and Willow? I don't know if that is the Willow I played with previously. I think I also noticed Maynor and Chloe from the FB Survivor community and I am glad to be playing with them. Pre challenge eliminations are dumb, that being said I honestly don't care if Taurus is eliminated because of it, literally nothing to be done to avoid it. Fucking do it. I know jack shit about Chloe, I don't care to at this point in time, if we aren't eliminated we'll be on opposite tribes, if we both last long enough to be on a tribe together, that's chill. Every game I've lost because I've played for other people, this go around I don't give a shit about nothing or anybody.

This sign partner twist is very nerve wracking. Because u cant talk with anyone but your sign partner, makes it hard to figure out what the others would vote for. I just hope my partner and I dont get voted out.

This twist was not the way I was expecting the game to start. Clearly the hosts are ready to send us right into it, but at this point I just really feel like me and Timmy are being lead to the slaughterhouse.

I was talking to Timmy about it, but neither of us know that many people in the game, which could be a good thing for us while we hope our names are kept out of their mouths. Of the few people I have interacted with on this cast, we have pretty mutually pleasant relationships so hopefully that will also keep us safe. I don't know, this is just really tough because there is not much we can do in terms of trying to save ourselves. I will most definitely be sweating all day long until these results are posted.

I am starting to like Timmy more and more. He seems like a nice guy, but sometimes can be a little bit hard to talk to just because he seems to be a man of very few words. No problem with that, just hard to read people that aren't super talkative and open. I have a feeling that we will be split from our teams to make tribes if we make it past this round, so hopefully the little seeds I have planted in Timmy and my's relationship will grow into a beautiful flower by the time we get to a swap or merge situation.

Other than that, there isn't much I can do but to cross my fingers and hope for the best. Hopefully this won't be the end of my journey in Kuwait, but at this point I have to expect the worst possible scenario...

It feels good to be back but I did assume there was gonna bemore newbies than veterans. Yet there isn’t so that’s interesting. The whole zodiac thing is cool in itself but it sucks that someone has to go home so fast best based off past impressions of others. I mean people do t like me. I have a reputation so this twist is not in my favor and Chips my Pisces partner does not necessarily help me jut there either. Chips is likeable but conniving. I mean we def could be the one to go. And it sucks

We ‘decided’ our votes are going on the Scorpios. Like we didn’t have a lot to go by. We brought it down to Libra and Scorpio then we random.org to decide their fate. I cant believe we did that but o well. I just want to survive this first vote.

This is a crazy twist but oh so much fun. I definitely do not feel safe, but that’s every round. I think we made a good choice.

Fun fact: my reasoning for wanting to eliminate Cancer is more than "fuck cancer" that's just the excuse I came up with to tell people as to why I "randomly" voted for Cancer when they inevitably aren't the ones eliminated. It's purely my motivation to eliminate everyone I have have been in a game with before, starting with Madison. If it happens, chill if it doesn't I'll have to find another way to go about getting her, Devon, and Trace eliminated in this game.

So... this is annoying. This whole star sign twist is kind of forcing my hand in who to try and connect with, and you know the others are bonding too. But still, even when voting out one star sign thats 22 people, i mean Australian Survivor starts with 24, but most tumblr seasons dont get near that. What else do they have up their sleeve to speed things up?

Willow is really chill and cool. I think we can work well together and stay libra strong. I'm personally wanting to try and get Pisces here because they have the potential to be social threats later on so might as well vote off threats while we have the chance.. however, I have a gut feeling they aren't actually going to be eliminated and may come back later so that is something to look out for.. if so, we need to claim we voted someone else incase they find out.

Willow and I had a very long conversation about college and stuff and I can really see myself working with her in this game. We have lots in common so as long as we trust each other we should be able to go far together. I have a feeling we are going to be split by ourselves after this so I probably won’t have willow by myside until a future tribe swap

Also, my partner seemed a little all over the place at first. He eventually calmed down. The problem with new players is they usually try to make their mark early and that could be trouble.

I had anxiety through out that whole tribal. I’m glad that Renee and I survived and didn’t get a vote. Pisces being voted out is 🤷‍♂️. Like idk why but I felt they were gunna get a few votes. Between the two I want Chips to survive and come back. I think I could work with Renee but we havent talked much so going to try and see howni feel later.

You had no fucking idea how stressed I was when I saw that there was one gemini votes. Whoever did that has one person to answer to: jeff fucking probst christ.

I am SO happy that Nehemiah clearly has enough adversaries in this game to make himself an automatic target. Hopefully he will be sent home during this retrograde situation, but I have a feeling he will stay because he is very strong in challenges. I feel a little ridiculous for having such a strong vendetta for him this early on in the game, but I know that he is a number I cannot trust so it'd be ideal for him to head home earlier than later.

hello friends. i told myself that i’m gonna force myself to write these . So first couple days have gone past. not too much has been going on. 24 person cast was kinda expected tbh with the season being battle of the signs and whatnot. my partner SUCKS!!! he hasn’t talked all game until this morning so we’ll see how that goes moving forward. having all the teams vote out one team was something else and unexpected but expected to cut down the size of the cast. where the game goes from here, i have no idea and i’m excited. i’m even more interested to see how the game shakes down after the pisces challenge. cause that leaves 23 ppl and a whole lot of ppl left

Im BEYOND thrilled that there is someone looking out for me and like seeing what a fucking snake Nehe is. Karma got to him last night and I was living for it. 4 votes from 12 tribes. That's 8 people that DID NOT want him here. And oh my god, I was living. Yeah sure we (Aquarius) got a vote but that didn't matter because I'm very close, oh so very close to not seeing Nehe in this game EVER! So I'm pulling for Chips to win and let's put that out in the fucking universe because Nehe winning and returning probably means that he'll get some secret advantage that may bite me in the ass down the road.

I’m indifferent about Pisces getting voted into the elimination. I didn’t talk to anybody so as long as I’m okay i don’t really care at this point. My partner seems nice enough - hopefully he sticks with me.

I’m looking forward to interacting with people. The intros made everyone look like they have very similar personalities, so I’m hoping to find a few people who i actually think are cool and interesting. I’m out for blood, mawma.

So far so good? The two person tribe thing definitely freaks me out, and it shows that I have to put in work to maintaining a good relationship, but I feel like Adrian and I are on the same page. I always strive to have one really really solid ride or die per game and usually it doesn’t work out for me, so this time I’m willing to do what it takes to keep this duo. It was interesting to see that there were four tribes who wanted Pisces out, but I also was nervous about the one Aquarius vote (I hope it was from Pisces so that we don’t have to worry about them, but if it was from Willow then I’m anxious!).

Hello, So Aries got no votes and I feel blessed but also y’all stuck me with maynor, the drunkest person in this game, who’s chill but also I feel like he’ll fuck me over first chance he gets. But anyway I didn’t really want Pisces to go, mostly for chips because I think he’s the one that sent me a $10 google play gift card in 2016 for winning fan favorite once in a game he hosted and I STILL remember the movie I bought with that $$$ so I wanted to play with him so hopefully nehe goes so I can play with chips and get more google play gift cards hehe. Ok I need to go talk to maynor more even if it’s difficult bc I need allies ok bye.

So here I am!!! First confessional of the game! I am honestly shook that Kait and Owen are playing ahhhhh!!! Scary!!! But also my first impressions made me not like Chips so much so I’m glad he’s been voted “out”. My only hope is that he is the actual first boot of the season and that the other guy comes back! 🤞🏻

So it comes as not surprise to me that the Pisces get the majority of the votes. Even not knowing the details of Nehemiah and his relationship with others I am aware of the impression he gives. I was in the viewing lounge for International House of Survivor where people actively rooted against him as well as the duo's season of House of Shade where he was not taken seriously at the finale.

Truthfully it is kind of terrible to be targeted because I am on a tribe with someone who is not well liked by a chunk of the cast but I guess those are the punches you roll with. It would be similar in situation for anyone who had been put with a winner had the players not voted personally.

Instead of getting voted out we were given the chance to do a challenge. The challenge is counting as high as you can go and Nehemiah asked me to throw it for him. He said that he is not playing anything and that this is all he has. I told him that I didnt sign up for the season not to play at all.

I decided I am going to count to 1337 and then stop. If Nehemiah wants it more than me and he counts higher then he deserves to continue on. I want to play and I want to compete but I have had a busy day with my wife celebrating her birthday and my infant needing lots of attention.

I hope this is not my last confession but if it is it will be a fun experience getting first boot.

So we have this TikTok challenge for immunity and the one thing going through my mind is how the Hell are me and Kait going to do this? Neither one of us know how to use TikTok and now we have to make a video using it? Hopefully we can adapt quickly. It shouldn't be that hard.

I feel fairly confident that I’ll be going to tribal council this episode, because the Tik Tok challenge is proving to be a bit difficult, and I would do it alone if I could but I can’t! I wanna make this whole thang work with Adrian but now it’s making me nervous. If I get eliminated from Survivor because of Tik Tok I’ll SCREAM for a hot minute then work it into a standup bit or something

Well it is day 3 in this game and I am still pretty bored. I am PRAYING that me and Timmy can pull out a top 3 win in the video challenge so that way I can have other people to talk to. It's not that Timmy is THAT boring, it's just hard to only speak with one person when the game has 22 others.

Normally I hate these kinds of challenges, but I actually think that I came up with a pretty good idea. Hopefully Timmy can supply and we will be able to pull this one out. Obviously I am happy to not be first boot, but sitting around and waiting for stuff to happen is my least favorite way to play these games. Wish us luck!

So the past round has definitely been eventful for the sole fact that I was already voted out of this game before it even started. Like it kinda fits though seeing how I am and the relationships I’ve made over the months and years I’ve played these games. There are definitely tons of people from different games and different reasons to which I screwed them over. Definitely left sour tastes in majority of their mouths and I didn’t even realize who majority of the cast was until I was voted out 4-2-1-1-1-1 cause we voted with our sun sign. Chips was cool and I personally wanted to rebond with the dude after Kilimanjaro and on top of that I just feel bad. The dude was voted out for being my partner. I sent that motherfucker home unintentionally.

I had no faith in myself that I was winning that challenge yet now here I am still in the game with a chance. Yet the game was hit with another massive wave in the form of a twist that honestly is clever. The tribes of 2 is staying that way which unfortunately for me means my tribe of 1 is also staying that way. Top 6 teams will be safe meanwhile the bottom 6 go to the war zone aka tribal council. Where one is voted out. Now in my perspective if I was to lose this challenge (which hehe all on a tribe by myself having to depend on comp skills puhlease) I will be attending an 11 person tribal council with all tribes having 2 but me. So I would outright stand as an easy target but I’m not going to roll over and die. The best way to survive would definitely be to worm my way into the ins. I also definitely need to right the wrongs that I have committed to some of these people who already decided to not want to deal with me. I mean what’s the point of getting rid of someone who is definitely going to be in the war zone a lot cause he can’t win by himself BUT he would most definitely be a number for your game if you choose to use him. The game is gonna merge into official better tribes sooner or later and I want to be there when it happens and I know I’m a loyal person to have by my side. There are people in this game that I haven’t played with or met and this is good for the power of surprise to the type of player I am.

Ok woo, so trace and I voted in the majority for the first vote so that was amazing. I'm sad Chips left and not Nehe because that would've made the game a lot better. I'm just hoping with this challenge and nehe being alone that his score is lower since it'll probably lose some comedic value...or at least I hope. I hate this challenge with all my being though because music video type challenges are the thing that gives me the most anxiety in orgs. Going to tribal doesn't even give me as much anxiety tbh. I usually don't even submit this challenge but I can't let trace down because that would suck for both our games and right now I need to focus on his game as well. Trace has been so helpful with this challenge and I'm so thankful that I'm on this tribe with him since he came up with the song and is doing the editing (i just had to film 15 seconds of me not trying to look totally disgusting). But all in all I think this will be a good video and I'm excited to see the results.

So my partner Devon and I are safe this week. For now, this is ideal as I need my first impression to be lackluster but still.. safe. I want people to see me as a loyal but foolish pawn who could be useful in competitions (not deadweight) but no comp threat. The downside is the lack of socialization. I can still only interact with Devon and am isolated from people I need to interact with, such as Madison or Owen or literally all the people I have absolutely no knowledge on. I fear pre-mades / pre-existing relationships. 4 votes on Virgo seemed unlikely but Chips leaving was good imo as there seemed to be more than 1 person from their cast in this game if I correctly recall from the intros. I will try to DM Devon more than I have as I need us to have somewhat of a bond or understanding even if it's only till ponderosa as I know most duos will have similar kinds of deals/bonds and to not have one is a disservice at this point although having him leave could get rid of the potential deadweight in upcoming challenges. Regardless, a healthy social bond never hurt me. I am excited for this twist to end whenever it does because it really is slowing down my momentum and makes me feel like I'm behind (I said this before I was isolated with immunity too). Final thoughts: not bad for a dead bitch!

This twist is so awful, so much strategy and factors are removed by not actually being in tribes. Its a mess, and a 12 person tribal? awful. It’s been nixe talking and getting to know the other people but like we have a tribal and vote someone off. So kinda nervous havent heard anything about that. Its probably weird of me to be all obsessive about him, but like the things that this kid can do. Like people should fucking learn that you never can trust him and since he's all alone- the moment he goes to tribal, Im gunning for his ass.

I have talked to Cullan, Willow, Ian. (New people to me). Ive talked to Stephen, Matt B, and Madison (who i know). I havent talked to Cloe, Brandon, Taylor, and Jacob. I really like Ian but idk how he feels about his partner Cloe. Since Cloe is mine and Renee’s target.

At some point the ball has to start rolling, if it already has I'm fucked and didn't get out ahead of it fast enough. I've played real nice and friendly because first and foremost you need numbers and have to maintain those numbers before you can get into a position to start trimming the fat. I need this vote to go one really anyone but me and Chloe, I still need her, for now. Chloe needs to be my get out of jail free card. As of writing this, Brandon seems like the most likely target to pin the vote on. He hasn't talked to me yet and I'm under the impression he hasn't talked to others either.

We roughly have 2 hrs before tribal and None of these FOOLS are talking about the vote. :p imma die but i think atleast it might end up being between Cloe and BDC. I really like Ian and Matt B but the two targets are their partners so i hope me voting BDC or Cloe wont affect them potentially working with me.

It looks like BDC may be going which is awesome because he really hasn’t talked to me (or anyone else). I really hope people aren’t lying to me when they say they are good with voting BDC tonight. This is giving me facebook game flashbacks where there wasn’t much game talk and I was blindsided. That once tribal has given me soo much anxiety and makes me very paranoid this first tribal. I just hope me and Renne dont get any votes tonight.

Other things - Daily Diarrhea Diary - Good. Oh? My goodness? 4 3/4 hours with the mask last night! Ok i say “oh 3 1/2!” “4 3/4!” but it... It’s roughly that much. Because we go to bed at midnight, and then we snuggle for an indeterminate amount of time and then the mask comes on and it’s sleep time. But. i woke up at 4:40am. So. There’s that. i jury-rigged tucking some of my drool rag folded up tissue into the mask of it, breaking the seal a tiny bit, sure but fuck it w/e that doesn’t matter, but. It let me snuggle down and relax and not have to worry about the drool? So... that was pretty great. i woke up to a Very Loud Sound. Unsure if that was actually in a dream, or outside, but all i remember was it was a VERY LOUD SOUND. Like a scream? Or something like that. idk. Doesn’t matter. But. 4:40? That’s fantastic. And i mean that. That means we’re getting More Better Sleep Longer! Woo~ SGDQ is kinda suckin’ out my life, not really getting much else done unfortunately. But i did get a walkies around the house! Yay! So that was fun. Loop around the whole house, which let Sir take the garbage to the road along with us, heh. Since it comes from behind the house, we left out the front, walked around to the left, snagged the garbage behind, then walked around to the front around the right side! Delightful. Soooo yea! Before i get distracted again and forget to post this, let me just wrap it here.

This was a really interesting tribal result/challenge combo. I don't even know what to say, really. Cheatham was supposed to go 3-2, but Steven was intimidated by his idol so I guess he flipped to him, and Noah somehow found out so he voted with Cheatham. I know why he didn't tell me, which was because he didn't want to risk being idoled out, but tbh I don't really know how he found out. Idk, maybe he lied? Or maybe he just didn't really know what to say. Regardless, maybe this doesn't look too good for me... down the line. I think I'm in the best position of the 4 Thrush to merge who doesn't have an idol. 2 people have to go over to Petrel, and they will be the only 2 eligible to be voted out. Cheatham would play his idol in this situation, (I just realized this isn't a guarantee but it would be insane to convince him so it's essentially impossible), so whoever goes over there with him is dead no matter what. It can't be me, and I need to think about who it should be. However, Noah and Steven are so deadset on sending Cheatham to Petrel that trying to change it now would be suspicious, so one of them has to die. Noah and I were allied for a while, but I still have some questions I need to ask him before I can be 100% sure that I'm making the right decision. He and Steven both came to me with different stories about what happened at tribal, both saying that the other one was so deadset on voting Amy that they had no choice but to vote her as well. idk what to make of this, bc I can't tell if one of them is lying or if there was just a miscommunication. Talking to Noah would probably help me figure out. Steven is clearly a relatively suggestible player (easy to flip to your side), so keeping him might be beneficial. Of course, he goes to the power, and in this case, the power is Petrel's numbers. So keeping him would depend on what Austin, who is the only person heavily connected to both of us (and could be at the tribe, so not Noah), does. I can't be voted out here so it's not a huge problem, but I can be set up terribly for the merge. After typing this out it's clear that Steven will have to go. No one would be mad at me, because I didn't really have a lot of choices here, but I think I'll make the right one tomorrow.

For this challenge we are gonna have to send Kyle over first. At the point we are at, he may have to be a casualty for us all to make it through. After that we get as many people as possible over and the ones who dont will stay in Petrel and have an easy road to a majority. Worst comes to worst we do Liam

I would say that tonight I hate to say it but we can get Liam and Vincent out of the game. I think it would have my options more open with the people left in the game...can it happen though?

So everyone I guess was in on the gig. Which just means whatever happens from here on out, I remember that all of them showed their hand. I think if they vote Gwen or Rizo or me out then it makes sense. If not then all this does is show that they suspect without actually targeting us

This competition is a mess & I'm really hoping it works out for me. This entire round has been touch and go for myself, having to create a new alliance with the people on the bottom hoping that it keeps my name out of people's mouths for the time being, and I think it's working? But this swap can easily mess it all up. I've gotta put my trust in Austin in the latter part of this challenge & hope he's actually wanting to swap over with us, which for him is much better in the bigger picture, but he could've easily just fed me, Sara and AnnMarie over to the wolves and left us to fend for ourselves against 2 Thrush's and another 3 Petrel's, and take his immunity to the merge with the other two Thrush's that'll join him, but we'll see I suppose. If he doesn't do this his numbers can easily be picked off at the beginning of the merge, so I just hope he knows that. I'm so nervous but if push comes to shove I might just have to throw someone under the bus to get the result I want, which is me sitting pretty at Final 10.

Steven already throwing Vincent on the bus like he didnt tell Austin about the big alliance lol Gwen mentioned she told him but Im willing to play along. I definitely feel like Gwen is in trouble so I have expect her to be gone. Me and Rizo can salvage our position and go from there but all of em are fair game to me!

I think I was really gung ho on Vincent going and then I got blindaided and talked to Austin. He had it planned me and Rizo would be immune. I don't trust Steven all that much but like I am wondering. It is kinda big that our tribe left us out of a vote and now expects me and Rizo to vote with them? I dunno. I have to see if the longevity is worth it but I definitely feel like the fact they left us out of a vote says a lot and right now I just wonder...

The immunity challenge did not go the way I planned for it to go. I was the first one sent over, and I immediately knew that I was the target. I am not an idiot. Sara saying she accidentally voted for me to go over? Yeah freaking right. I am going to lay low, and hope that Noah and Cheatham are willing to work with me. Noah says that he can probably get Cheatham to play his idol on me. I'm putting my game in their hands. They know I'm a threat, I know they are threats. We will have to stick together if this happens. Rizo and Chris have some 'splainin to do.

And in one corner we got VINCENT and in the other we got STEVEN! This is gonna be a match for the ages! Who will survive? Who will die? THERE WILL BE BLOOD! THERE WILL BE TEARS! THERE WILL BE SWEAT! Tune in tonight at 11:05PM!

OMG this is gonna be so stressful. Gotta keep everyone happy so I can get what I need to happen. I can go with cheatham and noah to the end or go with annmarie and sara either way I'm good I feel .

Tomorrow is another one of those Divas anniversaries – fourteen years to the day since Trish Stratus and Lita wrestled in the main event of Monday Night Raw in a Women’s Title match.

This is a big one, not only because it was just the second time a women’s match headlined an episode of Raw without any pesky men around, and not only because it was the biggest bout yet between the two biggest stars of the era, but also because it was the culmination of a nine month feud that was far and away the best thing about Raw in 2004.

On a personal note, this is the 20th Deep Dive I’ve written for you kind folks, and in an extraordinary and uncharacteristic show of restraint, I Dove Deep nineteen whole times while barely mentioning the greatest of all time, my sun and stars, moon of my life, Trish Stratus. Now, that’s simply because I’m so excited to talk about ALL of these women and there’s so much to cover, but that streak is well and truly over today because for real dudes, Trish Stratus in 2004 is the greatest gift that He ever sent down from the heavens to grace this wretched wasteland of a planet.

She is God tier.

The entire feud is fantastic, in fact, so let me spin you another yarn. There are about three different soap opera storylines to get through here so the short version of this preamble is that in late 2003 Trish and Lita, bestest best friends, were being pursued by Jericho and Christian respectively, the boys made a bet for $1 (Canadian) that they could hit that, Jericho ended up catching feelings and turning babyface, only for Trish to kick his ass to the curb and turn heel and mack on with Christian on the WrestleMania XX stage.

You may wonder how Trish goes from breaking Jericho’s heart to making Lita’s life a living hell. After all, last we saw they were bestest best friends! I’ll tell you how. This was all the fault of a women’s battle royal. In wrestling, some battle royals are throwaway. Others change the course of the next nine months of television. This was the match that launched a thousand skits.

It was a couple weeks after WrestleMania, and this particular battle royal was for No. 1 Contendership. Basically all of the other dorks got tossed during the ad break and we end up with Trish and Lita facing off in a big finishing stretch to determine the winner. Despite Trish and Christian still being in the middle of their feud with Jericho, and despite Jericho’s interference late in this match handing Lita the victory, Trish seems FAR more offended at Lita beating her than at anything Jericho is doing. It’s a subtle shift in Trish’s motivation, where the focus of her vitriol becomes her bestie/archrival, Lita, someone she’s comfortable fighting against, instead of a man that she isn’t really a physical threat to. Heel Trish liked to punch down, and Lita was a much easier target.

She had NO IDEA how much of an easy target Lita would soon become.

For reasons that remain unbeknownst to this day, I believe, one fateful day on Raw, Kane decided to interrupt a Divas tag team match, corner Lita in the ring, and forcibly kiss her. Oh yes my dudes, THIS WHOLE THING THAT HAPPENED.

Kane began stalking Lita on Raw every week, with her then-boyfriend Matt Hardy often getting in the middle. Trish Stratus observed her best friend being relentlessly stalked and molested by a psychopathic monster and decided, “Yep. I am going to ROAST THE SHIT OUT OF THIS BITCH LMAO”

She started out with the gold standard of fuckwithery, “Oh no! Look out! Kane’s behind you! BAHAHAHAHAHA!” And just stepped it up from there.

When Kane defeated Matt Hardy at SummerSlam 2004 for the right to marry Lita (I know, I know…) Trish was kind and thoughtful enough to corral the other heel Divas and throw Lita a bridal shower! (And let me tell you, the way that Trish utters the phrase, “Because you have to marry *KANE*” is just… I saw God.)

Then we ALL saw God when she crashed the wedding itself.

If you can get past the outfit, this run in is also basically the greatest speech anyone has ever made at a wedding. “All you have to do is open your heart! Just like you opened your legs!”

Holy moley.

When Lita was impregnated with Kane’s demon baby as a result of Kane coercing her into sex to protect Matt Hardy (hmmm why does this sound so familiar??) who else was there to greet her backstage with jokes about it “festering” inside her but King Dick Trish. That whole episode in fact (Raw, September 6th) was basically a one woman show. She dragged Lita mercilessly for getting knocked up by Kane, turned around and dragged Nidia for yelling at her in Spanish (“I don’t speak German!”), then dragged Nidia in the ring to one of her best matches like the GOAT she is, and then when Nidia started making her comeback, Trish could super not be fucked dealing with it and just straight up RIPPED NIDIA’S SHIRT CLEAN OPEN to distract her and kicked her head off.

I have no words for that kind of thuggery.

But back to our bullshit, when Lita then lost the aforementioned demon baby after an unfortunate and definitely-not-his-fault incident with Gene Snitsky (I KNOW, I KNOW OKAY!), who was there waiting to savage her some more about losing her pregnancy weight and drop lines like “At Survivor Series you’re gonna lose to me, just like you lost your baby” ?? You guessed it! King Dick Trish, the fucking asshole. What kind of prick trolls someone about having a miscarriage? Jesus.

Speaking of Survivor Series, let me catch you up on other, more normal events. At Bad Blood 2004, after an original Victoria vs. Gail Kim defense was changed to a four way with Trish and Lita, Trish, of course, stole the winning pin from under Lita’s nose and won the belt. From there it’s a tale of two women; Trish ruling atop of the Women’s Division as champ, and Lita toiling away in the Utter Bullshit Division. For months they only really ever met in these backstage skits and promos where Trish would body her over and over when she knew Lita couldn’t retaliate. And that was all they needed to make it the hottest feud on Raw.

Finally, in November Lita moved from the Utter Bullshit Division back into the Women’s Division and immediately set her sights firmly on Women’s Champion King Dick Trish Stratus. The match is made for Survivor Series. Jericho hosts a Highlight Reel featuring the both of them in the lead up, and he brings a referee out with him because he’s TERRIFIED of having them in the same room together.

With good reason. They’ve barely laid a hand on each other since that title match back in June. There is five full months of angst packed into this powder keg.

And it well and truly goes off at the PPV.

Trish comes out first and is STILL making puffy cheeked chubby faces as Lita makes her entrance, determined to make absolutely sure of her own death I guess. Lita walks down to the ring and punches Trish right in her fucking face. And punches her again. And again.

Then they go outside and all hell breaks loose. Lita grabs a chair and absolutely WALLOPS Trish for the DQ. Trish BLEEDS. Women NEVER bleed on WWE TV, but Trish got that juice brother. Lita kept going crazy and blasted Trish from behind right into the stairs in one of the greatest camera shots of all time. Trish freaks out spectacularly at the sight of her own blood. And somehow, considering this was an immediate DQ finish for a PPV title match they spent half the year building, this was some great business.

From this point forward Lita is fascinating to watch. You might think she’d go on some crazy tear of babyface revenge going after Trish’s title, but she’s actually the complete opposite. She’s not frantic or wild or in a hurry. She’s… calm. Almost serene. It’s as if she knows at this point that she HAS Trish. She’s got her. She’s finally free to fight her, she already beat the shit out of her at Survivor Series, now Trish is wearing a face mask on her broken nose that Lita can gleefully target, and she knows her day is coming. Lita is completely free to punch Trish in the face all she wants for all of the shit she’s been talking all year. Lita is free. Finally. And so she doesn’t chase Trish. She takes her time. She enjoys it. After all of the crazy shit she’s gone through in 2004, it’s actually a relief to just enjoy beating up a familiar foe in a wrestling match.

I bang on a lot about Trish here, and it’s always the heels that get to have more fun, but don’t sleep on Lita. She was also great during this entire angle (while having to do some truly horrid bullshit) and this part of it in particular was some fantastic work.

So the return match for title is finally made (by the ever-present Chris Jericho in his role as guest GM, in a nice touch) for the December 6th Raw. This show happens to be in Charlotte, not very far at all from Lita’s hometown at the time of Sanford, NC. The Women’s Title gets that main event slot baby. They spent the whole night recapping the feud to build up to it. Jim Ross dropped a great line about how to these women, this title means as much as the World’s Heavyweight Title does to the guys. The scene is set.

But not before one last backstage skit. We couldn’t really have it any other way. Trish had taken to calling Lita “The Walking Kiss of Death” and jokingly asked who’s career Lita was going to kill tonight, to which Lita obviously replied, “Yours” and gave her a big smackeroo. Now, Lita was just being smart here because as we know from this and Mickie James in the near future, kissing Trish before a match increases your chances of having a motherfucking BANGER with her by at least 1000%.

That’s just science.

What is a lot harder to explain with science is how Lita actually survived the match.

Y’all remember THAT bump. Lita hit a tope and landed so hard on her face her body scorpioned ov-argh. Nope. It’s fourteen years later and we know she was fine but man is it still hard to watch. She only came back from the broken neck a year earlier! Lita is officially a cyborg.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention it, but it’s a shame that the scorpion bump is sometimes the only thing people remember about this match. What’s important to remember about this match is that IT FUCKING RULED.

The tension was palpable from the bell, and the crowd was ready. Trish took off her face mask and used it as a weapon BECAUSE HER FACE WAS FINE AFTER ALL in a move so dastardly it caused Jim Ross to wig the fuck out on commentary. Lita’s bad bump ended up serving the match, lending a lot of weight to Trish working over Lita’s head and neck during the heat. Lita came back with a powerbomb and the rare and elusive women’s superplex. There were a bunch of great, close nearfalls, and at this point the crowd was going insane chanting for Lita. When she finally went up and hit the redemptive, life affirming Moonsault for the win, people went APESHIT. J.R. literally screamed himself hoarse raving about Lita coming back from all that punishment and winning the belt.

A trillion and three quarter stars.

Revolution or no Revolution, this is still one of the very best women’s matches in company history. And the perfect capper, at that point, to a rivalry that had started all the way back in 2000, and boiled over so spectacularly in 2004. I just love these women.

That was a lot, and yet like, I feel like I didn’t even scratch the surface with Trish, or even get into half of the stuff with Kane and Lita and all of that nonsense. I’m going to suppress the masochistic urge to dive into it that further, and come back next week to talk about another one of my favourite girls, the unfairly-maligned Divas of the world.
