The current situation is Israel is very confusing to a lot of people, and the word "colonizers" is thrown a lot in conversations, social media and protests. If you are not sure whether you can or should call Israel a colonial state, here is a handy guide divided by origin-country of the speaker:
The UK: OUR INDEPENDENCE IS LITERALLY FROM YOU!
Italy: THIS IS LITERALLY ALL YOUR FUCKING FAULT!
Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Greece, North Macedonia, Turkey, Mongolia: Every single one of you has conquered us at least once, so keep your mouth shut or start talking about reparations. (Yes, even the Mongols. Did you know that? I only found out a couple of years ago. Isn't that cool? I mean bad. Very bad...)
Every single country in the American continent + the surrounding islands, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, China, India, Russia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia: LOL. Don't even fucking look at us.
Portugal, Spain, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Austria, Sweden, Norway, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, Libya, Japan: Let me check a history book for a sec. Yeah, no.
Every other nation in the world: I don't know enough about your history to put you in another category, but no.
Liberia: Literally the only nation in the entire world that knows even half of what we’re going through. They’re not colonizers, and neither are we. Stop trying to force your Western terminology on our history.
North Korea: I think you need to deal with some other issues right now darling...
Hope this helps.

just. . .do y'all remember when Polin actually loved each other in our fandom? do you remember when our posts were about how sweet they were together? when it was about how they were on one another's teams? when it was story after story and post after post of polin against the world? of 'I like you' 'I like you too'? of 'Is life meant to be this happy?' 'I think so'? Do you remember when we were all about how much Colin loved Penelope and Penelope loved Colin? When the biggest narrative was that they saw one another, made one another brave, brought out the best in each other? When the mirror was more than just a sex scene and was also a metaphor for what they saw in each other and how they reflected one another? When they were kind to each other? When we were kind to them as characters? When they were encouraging? When they were affectionate and loving and tenderhearted and messy and silly and loving with one another? When Penelope chose Colin at every turn and Colin chose her?
Where is it? Where is the love for our couple? Be honest, wanting Colin to grovel and suffer isn't for Polin fans. It's for Pen stans. Because us Colin fans are shown time and time and time again that it's okay to call a character we love an idiot, want him egregiously punished or humiliated, to see nothing good in his character at all. So who else is it meant for? I miss when we cared about them. I miss when there was a place we could go that was about their romance and tenderness. I miss when it wasn't just straight up hating on him, or us obsessed with Penelope getting with other characters, or thinking he's less than.
We have one of the *best* Male Love Leads in the entire series. And if you don't think that way. . .I just don't understand why you claim to ship this ship. We have an amazing pairing. A wonderful couple. A couple who cares about each other, a couple who builds one another up, a couple that are friends, a couple that has passion and happiness and so much potential.
Do you remember our gifsets gushing about how much he cared for her? Do you remember our metas about how they could bloom and flourish around one another? When we looked at how Colin was hypervisible but ultimately unheard and how Penelope was invisible but the loudest voice in the ton and sighed about how they fit so well with one another? Do you remember when Penelope was proud to have Colin as a partner and he showed her off at every turn? Do you remember when it wasn't a scorecard? When it wasn't about suffering and was about tenderness? Do you remember when they LOVED each other in our fandom? Do you remember when we loved them?
I remember.
And I miss it. I miss it so much.

hey. hey someone tell me why they had Naruhodou offhandedly mention that he'd probably fall for someone if they saved him from a life threatening situation and then later in the same game had Itonokogiri save him from a life threatening situation, and also being the only character who's saved him from life threatening situations multiple times throughout the trilogy. why did Mayoi joke about Naruhodou and Itonokogiri being A Thing two (2) times in this game and Naruhodou's reaction both times is a moment of hesitation before quietly denying it, instead of his usual hard and fast snapback with a sound effect when Mayoi says something he thinks is ridiculous. what am I supposed to do with this. I wasn't supposed to be here. hey listen to me-

new oc. i don't have a real name for her yet.
she's nicknamed the "Spider Hag". she's the warden of a supposedly haunted forest. "wardens" are high lords of historic families tasked with protecting regions of the realm. people think her forest is haunted because she has filled the place with an intricate web of traps -- snares, pits, nets, and so on -- to keep poachers and trespassers from passing through the forest, making it seem like those with ill intent never come back from the forest. most who see her see only her dark silhouette in the gloom of trees, and mistake the flaps of her coif for horns, and her dark cloak as shadow wrapping her up. they spread rumors that she is a witch or a demon that guards the forest. those that have met her know she is very kindly. she's polite, generous, gentle. she has a strong relationship with the local villagers, who maintain her reputation as a demon, and she provides them with high quality game and forage in return. as kindly as she is, though, there's something... off... about her. the way her wide, pale eyes scan a room, look right through you, track your every move. the way she lingers in the treeline and watches you as you pass through her woods. the way her soft, polite smiles never quite reach her eyes.
