Wednesday WIP

Hello! 👋🏽 Nerdie here, I am working on a few things:

1. A second entry for @undercoverpena ‘s April Showers Challenge (maybe featuring an agent I haven’t written for a bit). I had a burst of an idea which was different than the original one I had. Such is a Nerdie brain. Don't get lost in there, but there are cookies.

2. Finally progress of my “Wedding 101 with Dieter” fic! I had been having trouble with it. I’m happy to have more Maya, Dieter and Daisy. 🤭 I apologize to @angelofsmalldeath-codeine in advance for any undue stress I shall cause you.

3. Going to finish up my short Frankie body part series which sounds menacing but is the opposite. 😂 Very much so lol It’s called “Only Parts of you Mr. Morales.”

4. I’m working on a Javier Peña series because I feel like I need to give him something nice. Just one thing. 😆 It's very sweet, I have 2 chapters and no idea what to call it. Pfft, go figure. No idea how long it will be - sorry, won't be ready for a bit. Between Javier P and Joel recent. I need to be nice to them. They’re both very haunted. 😖

5. I'm still working on both Din fics and Benny. I'm redoing the outlines. Bullet points are friends and not our enemies. I think. Will there be more random Star Wars people? Is Obi Wan Kenobi a children’s author and Luke that old man who swings his lightsaber in the yard?! Both these things are true. 😌 Messing with Star Wars canon one character at a time. 😂😂😂 The sweet Din fic will remain so. My walking pile of nervous Beskar. 💚

And that's about it, I've cut back a bit on writing to do more school work (papers...ugh...writing about not Pedro. 👀 Eww...)

Anyway, somehow, I went from being stuck in chapter five for 'Weddings 101 with Dieter' to now being in chapter six. I'd like to thank Hemmy for being so encouraging and @megamindsecretlair for discussing Pedro and Oscar with me the other night. I feel like I should make notes and keep both of those in mind for future fics because it's the right thing to do.🫡 Just thinking about it is… 🫠

This is a small excerpt from chapter six, we should all know Nerdie's humor by now 🤣:

“Who’s banging on my door this damn early?! You better get out of here!” “Dee at least ask who it is.” “I don’t care, it could be the president, pope or, no Beyonce could come in.” “I am not meeting Beyonce in my robe. My hair is a mess, my face is puffy, I haven’t showered yet…that’s not who it is!” “I mean, if she shows up on this door, she’s gonna have to be okay with my bare ass, balls and your robe with your cute puffy face. It’s just us. You don’t need one. I’m just going to take it back off to eat you for-” “MR. BRAVO IT’S ME ZACK! YOUR ASSISTANT!” He screamed, he didn’t need to hear Dieter removing anything off of Maya or eating her in any capacity, they can do that after he leaves later. Never any filter with this damn man, he just needs to remind himself of his loans. This job pays the loans.

Gotta love how....open Dieter is with everything. Even Sasha Fierce is not safe. 😭

Meeting his gaze had her mouth run dry, the sandy tone to his skin contrasted with more papaya tones in his neck. Dark hair and kind eyes behind a gold pair of aviators perched on his curved nose. Tourmaline waves parted on the left side of his crown were matched by his bold eyebrows and thick mustache. His lips were a lace pink and plush. The sunlight made the sweat along his neck glimmer, accentuating its definition. The light blue shirt made the reds and browns in his skin stand out even more. “Did you need to get some fresh air too?” She asked, he could be doing that, escaping someone like she was doing or something else entirely. Now she was curious too, about this man who’d chosen to sit next to her.

I very much enjoy my description of Javier, hehe 😉

It's not first come first serve. my writing approach is intuitive and i can't force it. I work on requests that fit what i'm in a good headspace to write. I also may prioritize based on ease; how hot it is to me; appeal to the rest of you; whether the fandom is oversaturated with it; whether i've already done something similar

You should read through my library before requesting to make sure you're okay with the type of stuff I post because I could take your request anywhere.

If I have requests that are similar OR that I think would work really well together (like make each other hotter), I might combine them so make sure you follow me in case yours is answered as part of another one.

I love that I get so many asks for my existing versions of chsracers / joelkémons, but if I do it, it's not always going to be the Joel you ask for.

Why I still welcome asks despite having more than I can do

A hot ask can come in at any moment that's such a good fit that I can jump right on it and bang it out. These may be "easy" or especially motivating for me personally. Examples: free use, movie night, Instagram (spawned stepdad!Joel), thighs out (bf's dad), Aches. . we wouldn't have any of those if I did asks first come first serve or had closed my inbox to catch up.

An ask may come in that gives me inspiration on an "old" one, and I can do them together. This happens regularly.

Some of the asks in my inbox are ones where I either haven't gotten inspired or haven't figured out how to do it without making it long w/ significant effort and sacrificing our ongoing stories.

I appreciate y’all being so supportive and trusting me in where to focus my effort. I strive to do ones I think y'all will like & that I can do well.

Hi! so, I was seeing this gifset of Pedro's kissing scenes and it reminded me of a interview where he said the perfect first date for him has to end up with him and the person kissing. I also have read somewhere else him saying something that alluded that he's very into kissing, so, how Pedro kisses in real life? when it comes to women, does he hold back a little? maybe because he thinks he might be too "rough", so with women he might be more romantic or he just "go for it" without restraints? Aw, and since we are in this subject, how does he feel about lip-biting during the kiss? does he likes to do? does he like to receive?

Hello! Let's do a naughty ask this time! I approached this one by asking what could the cards show about the possible energies around his kissing, in general, no specific gender. The first cards were the 7 of Hedgehogs, King of Flowers and Page of Spears.

Well, 7 of Hedgehogs shows us he will go spontaneously, unprepared, but then he will work on it, put in the effort to build a solid (and long!) kiss. King of Flowers shows us that he will go in full of energy and always wanting to "call the shots", he will want to take the lead as the kissing goes. Page of Spears tells us he will be willing to please his partner and "course-correct" if he feels like it's not being pleasurable enough for the other.

The next cards were 2 of Flowers, King of Spears and 9 of Teacups. 2 of Flowers shows the energy of the beginnings, when you start something full of excitement, and you still don't know what you're doing, but you will iron out the details and figure out the best way for it, so he will start and he will explore and experiment to find the right track of this kissing. King of Spears is a curious card, because it has somewhat of a rational energy, but again a "calling the shots" vibe, very dominating, but 9 of Teacups shows the "letting go" and enjoying it, staying in the present moment, enjoying the ease and comfort of this wonderful time, and feeling like he's so lucky to be sharing that moment with that person.

The last 3 cards were quite surprising (but not much lol), with the 7 of Flowers, 5 of Teacups and Temptation. 7 of Flowers displays an aggressive drive, competition and defiant energy, with the urge to win or gain control, and that is interesting because the kissing might become rough. lol 5 of Teacups shows how disappointed he might get if he "loses" to his lover and said lover takes the "lead". Also important to notice we are not talking about "control" in a bad way, it's just his dominant Aries energy showing up again. Temptation, as The Devil, points to some lustful, rough, passionate kissing either way, and having the potential to becoming actual sex if things work out alright between them.

You also asked for the ladies and if it would potentially differ from the men, so I pulled cards for the possible energies of his kissing if he's kissing a woman. The first cards were Ace of Spears, 2 of Teacups and 8 of Spears reversed.

Well, the energy in the cards shows that with women he would be very creative and inspired (Ace of Spears), VERY passionate, in sync with his partner, well balanced and happy (2 of Teacups) and NO restraints, no limitations or holding back (8 of Spears reversed). With this card, you have the answer to whether he would try to be less "rough", and it's most likely no. lol.

The next cards were 10 of Spears, Page of Teacups and The Hierophant reversed. 10 of Spears shows this kissing being... erm... orgasmic in a way. Very cathartic and with a "going all the way" energy, and Page of Teacups is again pointing to lots of passion, but also some playfulness, like a boy trying all there is to try in the world of kissing, and look at the dominant energy again. The Hierophant reversed shows he would have that energy of rejecting what is too traditional and rejecting any attempt of someone trying to tell him how he should kiss. lmao. He will try to course-correct if he feels like he is not pleasuring the partner, but not if someone keeps telling him what to do as he might not like that.

I've gotten anons about that one fanfic post going around so here is my opinion;

The post and the users misunderstand a core point of what the fuck porn/adult concent/nsfw content is and what distribution/providing to minors means and how it comes together - or doesn't - on tunglr. And who is responsible for what to which degree.

Their "legal advice" screenshot is also - not exactly wrong - but lacking in core information so its broadly put.

Online/impersonal (free) legal advice always is, lawyers are also concerned with liability yk? They aren't going to break their backs analyzing fanfic rights for you without pay and going by a 3 sentence question. lmao.

You are responsible for distribution++ if you

1) run the parameters of a site, making it your site! And do not screen/warn away minors. You don't run tunglr as a fic author. You aren't renting space from them and doing whatever you want. You run a blog on tunglr as a fic author! Difference!!!!! Its literally [blogname].TUMBLR.COM

Wordpress back in the day was a site where distribution could be argued, you could tweak it much more, I don't know if/how it changed. But fb didn't, insta didn't and tunglr doesn't. I haven't read up on fbs and instas changes so maybe they chip away at their responsibility more but I don't know how it is rn. Don't care much either.

1a) are somehow running/posting your stuff outside the sites parameters/guidelines thus avoiding their policing on purpose and

2) invite, like actively invite and court, minors to read your stuff and "hide" the nature of your content. Or actively lie and deny it being adult content when asked. Or pretend to be a minor yourself. But fanfic is your least problem in that case.

Minors dni/18+ warning, in the post and/or bio, is enough to prevent your (xreader bdsm hardcore sth sth) fic from being distribution etc from a legal standpoint.

As a user of tunglr you are allowed to rely on its screening and safe use within the guidelines. Meaning keeping minors actively away would be tunglrs responsibility, if it were against the guidelines. Matching age groups etc would also fall into tunglrs responsibility.

You are only responsible for labeling/marking/declaring etc your stuff as 18+. And you arent allowed to approach minors and promote it to them, if you know they are minors!

Don't get me started on how the "free" concept of fanfic screws with providing too. But iam not getting into it.

Using the tags isn't courting minors, we can all see the content. You are allowed/legally safe to assume that minors can read and won't interact after reading "minors dni". You aren't obligated to check bios and blogs for info. It's passive knowledge only, that's enough to get you into clean waters. If a reader tells you like 6 months after rb and commenting "lol. Iam a minor" your responsibility sets in that second. It doesn't travel back in time.

You can chose (!!!!!!) to either use the now given labels OR continue to post the "18+ minors dni" sentence before the readmore cut of your fic. If you want, use both.

The point is acknowledging and telling people it's 18+. If someone had to read the warning before the fic, as a readmore suggests, it was their responsibility to "close the tab". Don't put 18+ at the end of the post/after the fanfic.

Age in bio is bullshit. I can literally put "80 years old male from Ohio" there. Doesnt make it true + isnt illegal and wont get me in trouble. Wont get you in trouble if I tricked you as a fic author either. No one can verify it. There are new blogs, sideblogs etc. It's much more of a legal loophole and a tunglr problem.

As every user fanfic authors have the same right to block anyone, if they block ageless users it's their right. Legally its useless when it comes to distribution and providing. But it's their right to run their ship however they want.

We all know here that a determined minor will find shit anyway. Internet screening is the responsibility of parents, not pedro fanfic authors. I dont understand their, sometimes aggressive, tone but I also dont understand the people attacking them. You are allowed to block them too!

If you want to interact with their work, their blogs and they make the rules obvious why don't you put your age in your bio or make a sideblog with your age in it? Don't over complicate shit for them and yourself.

hnnghh, it’s midnight but i’ve been having this “encanto” theory/headcanon for a while and i rewatched the “dos oruguitas” scene again so now i wanna share it

i’ve been wondering for a while why only pedro gave himself up, and came to the conclusion that only he was targeted.

like, okay, if you grew up in a latino household with a family that has a history of leaving home because of violence or war. (in my family’s case, it was the civil war in el salvador) then, sooner or later, you’re bound to hear scary stories about the said violence. and in that reason, any latino knows those horsemen that were chasing down pedro, alma and the other refugees were no bandits, no matter what disney is saying.

i think, and quite possibly, the horsemen were some kind of death squad. and pedro was targeted because in the “dos oruguitas” scene, it’s pretty clear he and alma were the ones who organized the other refugees to find a way out of their village.

see? they’re in the front, leading everyone. maybe pedro got very involved with the politics and was very vocal about what was happening. saying how unfair and unjust everything was, and doing things like that does make you a target. so when the horsemen came, maybe that’s why pedro gave himself up. because he knew he was on their list. (maybe alma was on the list too, who knows.)

this also explains a bit more why later, when the miracle happens, everyone instantly starts looking to alma for help and guidance.  after all, it was her and her husband that was leading them to a better place.

i mean, it makes this scene all more sad, and explains why alma became so strict and stern. she’s been trying to preserve what her husband was trying to achieve, to find a place safe and peaceful to raise their kids in.

Now that we know for sure 4x08 was the last time they saw each other, I can't help but find so funny, like how did it work? How did they go from chilling in the monastery and Andrés saying he's going out to dinner... to never seeing each other again? I get that it was supposed to be a dramatic goodbye but... Do you think Andrés immediately left the monastery? But he had to come back to grab his stuff, right? How do you think it happened on a practical level?

Also, between the time Andrés left and the Mint heist, do you think either tried to contact the other/see them again? I can't imagine Martín not trying to see Andrés again.

Anyway I loved your thoughts about Andrés' feelings, I could read your blog all day!

Oh yes there are so many things left unanswered. Like I don't particularly dislike it, it's better for artistic work to not duell so much on those aspects, to not dillute the effect and all. I personally think it was Martín who left right away, that Andrés gave him enough time, like a week or so, to leave the monastery before he came back to grab his stuff. But knowing Andrés, I wouldn't find it strange that he just left like that and bought new clothes for himself wherever he traveled to next lmfao. I'm just wondering what he told Tatiana, Bogota and Marseille. Like Bogota and Marseille were specifically there for that plan, how did Andrés explain that they are not doing it? Literally after Martín plugged Bogota out of his life for this one plan. Bogota too was recurited by Martín, so didn't he ask what happened? Didn't he try to contact him? Did Andrés ask them to not contact him? Did they already realize they were in love and didn't want to press Andrés to say more about their breakup? I'd like to see more of that in the spin-off actually, how this friendship and dynamic worked, why they stayed with Andrés instead of Martín etc etc.

See, that's a thing that's plaguing my mind because we know, for a fact, that they shot a post-kiss scene. I can't imagine they just called Rodrigo there to cheer Alvaro and Pedro or something. It's probable that Alex Pina wrote and shot a scene where Andrés and Martín contacted each other after Andrés got out of prison and then scraped it for some reason. I don't think Martín would be the one to contact Andrés, unless it was after the prison thing and he wanted to make sure he was alright. (Imagine if Alvaro doesn't want to be in the new show so Alex Pina just made him shot a scene with Rodrigo and Pedro that he just intends to leave for the spin off lol.) but also Andrés might have had a moment or two when he wanted to contact Martín again.

Nothing done.

2) How many WIPS do you have right now?

One, two, three....and lots of things in the idea folder. First draft of the new Javi G story is done.

3) Do you take writing requests or write original ideas, or both?

I definitely do both- requests tend to sit in my inbox until I can get to them/get inspired to write them. Mostly I write original ideas.

4) If you do take requests, how many do you currently have?

Oh god...I have at least 15 sitting in my inbox. Several are from Eri, lol. If you sent me in anything, please know that it's not because I'm ignoring you.

5) How many fandoms do you write for?

I have only ever belonged to the Pedro fandom. Maaaaaybe the case could have been made for the X-Files fandom back in the day, but the internet barely existed then.

6) Are there any fandoms you wrote for in the past that you no longer write for?

Nope! PPCU only.

7) Do you write for ships, reader inserts or other?

I have stuck to reader inserts thus far, no ships. There are some OCs coming though...

I think that the most niche character I write for might be Max Lord? He just isn't around as much as some of the others.

YES. Oh my god. I loooooove reading fics. I try to reblog as many as I possibly can also.

I'm the softest idiot in the world, so soft smut tends to be where I land. Or just straight-up fluff sometimes.

Brainstorm either alone or with friends, listen to music, get super comfy.

I am super selective about smoosh fics (characters from multiple movies, etc), sex pollen, and have read a couple A/B/O. No hate at all to people who write them, but I probably won't ever write them.

Fics are everything. Oneshots are single chapter things. Drabbles are something between a long thought and a one shot. I don't know....

I've stuck to mostly oneshots but I'm branching out bby

I'm going to echo what Lauren said - anon hate is so unnecessary. If you don't like something or someone, move it along. There's enough hate in the world, do we really need to attack people here?

Whenever the mood strikes! Although I think I do more evening writing than anything.

23) Do you listen to music, ambiance/noise, etc. to write or do you need silence?

I loooove writing to lo-fi music or thunderstorm white noise. Coffeehouse jazz too. I don't like silence, I can hear my thoughts too loudly.

24) Do you outline your fics at all before writing?

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Depends on how many components I want to include or how long the fic is. I can keep a good amount of it in my head while I write. If it's going to be multi-chapter, it's getting an outline.

25) Do you post your writing as soon as you finish it, or do you schedule it to come out at a specific time/day?

A lot of times I finish something and chuck it out into the universe so I don't have a chance to second guess myself and never post it at all. I try to do a taglist reblog at a time of day when I know more people are around, and I try to spread out comment reblogs so I don't clog people's dashes.

Satan: Out of curiosity do you think Pedro or Kray would be on the mission?

Satan: Em would be keeping it to a very tight crew who know what they're doing and are willing to listen to what she says and basically that would be up to both of them

Sam: Hmmm maybe - I feel like they'd both go if asked

Sam: Like if Up said it was okay to go and that he was going, then Kray would definitely go

Satan: She would probably call a small meeting with all the potentials (with Up already knowing) and give the offer before explaining the full deal to everyone who's on board

Sam: Pedro might stay behind to keep an eye on everyone else who wasn't going tbh

Tarot question. There are rumors Pedro is reading the blogs. Should he read this blog, what does he think? Serious question. I am curious what he thinks if he reads the readings? I am sure he knows it's all in fun and he is a good sport. Still curious. 😂🤭

Hi! You see, before we start, we need to remember that even though these readings are “for fun”, Tarot is not a joke or a game. The Oracle is serious and it’s something created centuries ago and studied since, with roots possibly in the spiritual beliefs of the Egyptian civilization from thousands of years before Christ. When we say it’s for fun, it’s because I am not a professional Tarot reader and I am not talking directly to Pedro, so I cannot know if my interpretations of what The Oracle shows me are always correct. I can only try my best to capture some of the vast world of meaning in every card and maybe get it right, but only Pedro could say how much of it I get right. I have been successful in at least being in the right path for several readings that matched things he has said and done before and after them, but without him and his own insight there are always things I could miss or not get correctly. So it is “for fun” as it is not meant to be taken as “truth” or “insider info” or a professional reading, but rather an attempt to pick up some of the answers this amazing Oracle has to offer, in which I might be successful or not.

That said, I have done a reading about whether Pedro (and Coco) know about the blog and how they could feel about it, but I will ask again about what Pedro could think if he reads the readings. I am answering the anon's questions, so be respectful. You don't have to believe Tarot or me, we're not asking you to, but be respectful.

The first question was whether he has possibly read at least one of my readings about him or if he reads them. The Major Arcana were The Magician reversed, The Star and Temperance.

This is interesting. The Magician reversed could be suggesting that, at first, he could have been kind of "blocked" in a way, not very open to the idea of Tarot, kind of doubting it or not wanting to believe it could be true. Then, The Star changes everything completely. There's hope, there's positivity, like he opens himself up and feels optimistic and inspired. Could that have been a moment where he decided to read something and then realized it was actually positive and maybe right? Well, potentially. Temperance represents balance, harmony, give and take, and different things that blend harmoniously. It might represent a healthy perspective, he doesn't get obsessed by it but doesn't reject it either, it's a satisfying feeling.

The Minor Arcana were the 7 of Swords, Queen of Pentacles and 6 of Wands. 7 of Swords with The Magician reversed represents the way he possibly saw Tarot before, like he didn't believe it, or couldn't trust it, but remember when The Star showed up? Queen of Pentacles comes along with The Star and this Queen is very grounded, reliable, stable, sensible (and sensitive), she's a nurturer and someone you can not only trust, but count on. Let's say that what probably gave him that hope and positivity could have been seeing readings that made him feel more confident about Tarot. 6 of Wands with Temperance might be pointing to his experience being a success, like he opened up and it went very well.

So I would say he has possibly read the readings, and they could have changed at least a little bit of how he saw Tarot before.

Then I asked loosely what he might feel about the readings. The first cards were 9 of Spears reversed, Queen of Hedgehogs (this deck's version of the Queen of Pentacles!) and 6 of Hedgehogs. What at first gave him anxiety and worries (9 of Spears) became something that started to feel grounded, sensible and stable (Queen of Hedgehogs) and it gave him a feeling of kindness, of giving, of sharing something one has. Who is sharing what with whom? lol

The next cards were 9 of Flowers, Page of Teacups reversed and 8 of Flowers. So there was hesitation and not really beliving it would work out much (9 of Flowers), then some insecurities, overwhelm and immaturity (Page of Teacups reversed - some readings are deep, aren't they?), but things changed fast and very intensely (8 of Flowers), maybe with a rush of emotions.

The last cards were The Sun, The Chariot and 2 of Spears. He might have felt seen, heard and understood, like everything became clear, but it was joyful, warm, fun (The Sun), and things progressed really quickly, and on the right path (The Chariot), but all of that also brings vulnerability and sometimes it might be hard to decide whether he wants to read them or not (2 of Spears). After all, we've got some sad readings over here too, right?

The closing thought was Temperance, and you already know what that represents, and it's balance, harmony.

I would risk saying he's fine about the readings if he's actually read any of them. Again, no hateful anons, I am not saying this is 100% true not an ounce of doubt, and you are not forced to believe it.
